Jeremiah 18:7-10 “ If at any time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down and destroyed, and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned. And if at another time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be built up and planted, and if it does evil in my sight and does not obey me, then I will reconsider the good I had intended to do for it.”

This shows that God gives us the freedom to choose good or to choose evil, that we can change our behavior. And this shows us that God can change His mind, about how He responds to our behavior. God is the one, who tells us what our behavior should be. We are the ones, who decide our behavior.

Verses 11-12 continue on, “Now therefore say to the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem, ‘This is what the Lord says: Look! I am preparing a disaster for you and devising a plan against you. So turn from your evil ways, each one of you, and reform your ways and your actions.’ But they will reply, ‘It’s no use. We will continue with our own plans; we will all follow the stubbornness of our evil hearts.’”

This shows what Calvinists would call proof of predestination, that God knows who will do right and who will do wrong.  Yes, God does know in advance, who will do right and who will do wrong.  Yet this does not mean, He has not given humanity freedom of will.

WE choose our destination and not God.  Calvinists claim God chooses our destination.  THAT is the Calvinist error, placing our fault, our sin upon God. Our fault is ours entirely, and we placing our sin upon God, is spitting in God’s Face. Calvinists forget, God is the One, who placed our sin upon Himself.

God Loves everyone.  He said, He wants everyone to be saved.  He said, we are to Love our enemies.  God Loved Judas.  He washed his feet.  Jesus broke bread with him.  Jesus called him friend, when Judas gave that kiss of betrayal in the Garden of Gethsemane.  Jesus Loves Judas.

But did Jesus Respect Judas?  Judas went on to kill himself and is the most famous backstabber in history.  Is Judas going to be in Heaven?  Does Jesus Respect Judas?

Love and Respect are two different things.  They are somewhat related.  We all want to be Loved AND Respected.  Yet the Truth is, some of us want to be Respected and then Loved.

Ephesians 5 says, men are to Love their wives.  It also says, women are to Respect (or submit) to their husbands.  Men crave Respect.  Women crave Love.  Obviously we crave both, but one is more important to each.  Women are more emotional and thus crave Love more.  Men are more rational and thus crave Respect more.  As a man, I can plainly tell you women, we men crave Respect more than we crave Love.  We want both, but Love without Respect is empty to us.  And I know that women crave Respect, but recognize Respect would be empty for you, without Love.

At this point, I am going to tell you my Biblical theory.  God made Adam and it was good.  Adam was complete.  Yet, God decided Adam needed a mate.  So God took a part out of Adam, and made Eve.  That part, no longer exists in Adam (although I suppose an echo of that part still exists in Man).  That part, now exists in Eve.  Put one good man and one good woman together, and you get one complete human being.   That is my Biblical theory.  Men are more logical, more rational, more Truth driven, more brain driven if you will.  Women are more emotional, less rational, more Love driven, more heart driven if you will. Humanity desperately needs both to be human. Read John 1:17.

Truth is not more important than Love (Grace). Yet one must lead.  God said, man should lead woman.  Logic should lead emotion.  Let me ask you a question.  In the Garden of Gethsemane, did Jesus FEEL like going to that cross?  No, He did not.  Then why did He go?  Jesus went to that cross, because He obeyed His Father. He submitted to His Father.  He allowed His Father to lead Him. Why did His Father want Him to go to that cross?   Because the Truth was, humanity is lost without the cross.  God Loved us enough, to follow through on the Truth of the cross.   Love followed Truth.  Grace followed Truth.  Truth preceded Grace.  Truth preceded Love.

Ask the world today, what is the most important thing about God, and it will answer with Love.  God is Love.  If you want to be a Christian, you must Love.   And that is True.  God is Love.  God describes Himself in the Bible as Truth, Love, and Spirit.  Those are the three big ways God describes Himself.  There are lots of other words, in the Bible that describe God, but Truth, Love, and Spirit are the three biggies.

Everyone knows that God is Love.  Hell, Atheists throw THAT in my face all the time, when I tell them they are on a path to Hell.  “You are not being Loving!!!  You are judging me!!!  God says not to judge, so you are not being like Christ!!!  That is not Loving!!!”  They regularly yell this at me.  I tell them, telling the Truth IS Loving.  Their mistake, is putting Love before Truth.  Hell, they are forgetting Truth entirely and just using Love as a weapon to attack God.  Look at LGBQT churches, who glory in proclaiming homosexuality and Abortion are good before God.  They back their claims up with Love.  Love gives them the reason to sin.    According to them, Love is more important than Truth.  The Evil One, uses Love as a weapon.  The Accuser creates nothing.  Satan only perverts, what God has made.

Now a Church does not have fly a rainbow flag, outside their building, to practice placing Love before Truth (although it is an obvious sign).  Plenty of Churches, place Love before Truth, and appear respectable to the “Christian Community”.  The reality is, if you preach “Truth precedes Love” in most Churches today, people will gnash their teeth at you, or at least be uncomfortable with you.  They will point out that Love and Truth are equally who God is, and one is not more important than the other, and they would be right.  They would quickly point out the Truth, that Love is the driving force for why God went to that cross for us.  But they ignore, why He bothered to Love us like that, in the first place.  God bothered to love us like that, God bothers to hold His Cup of Wrath, God bothers to practice long suffering or patience, because He wants to get us back to the Truth.  He wants to get us back to that Truth, we left behind in the Garden of Eden.  Truth precedes Grace (Love).  Does not the Father precede the Son, yet they are One?  Does not man lead woman, yet they are one?

So, God Loves you, but does He Respect you?  Will God Respect the people, who end up in Hell?   Will God Respect the people, who end up in Heaven?  I suspect God will Love both.  God’s eternal cross to bear, will be Loving even those disrespectful humans in Hell, while we Christians sit Loved and Respected in Heaven.

God is Truth, Love, and Spirit.  Each are equally, who God is.  One part is not more a part of who God is, than our soul, body, or spirit is more of who we are.

Which parts of God and us, does the world as influenced by Satan, prioritize?  Remember, Satan creates nothing.  He only perverts that which already is (and I am not saying he can pervert God).    

What I am saying is, we are at war.  Strategy and planning, wins wars.  Where are we being attacked at, the most?  The answer to that question is obviously our bodies, but also through Love.  Is this not the reason God leads His plans for us, with Love?  To strengthen us where we are most often attacked? Is this not the reason Satan so intensely hates the name of Jesus Christ, the One who Loves us, the perfector of our salvation?

Remember that God is Truth, Love, and Spirit.  And we want to be like God, right?  The Accuser accents one aspect of God, in order to cause us to ignore the other Two.  The Christian world today, too often is strong in Love, while in Truth and Spirit, it rots from within.

Luke 22:69 “But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the mighty God.”

This implies there was a time, when the Son did not sit at the Right Hand of the Father.  Jesus made this statement about sitting at this place of Royal Honor, of Equality, with the understanding of His crucifixion being completed.

Consider that The Final Judgement has long been associated with something only The Father will do.  Jesus even said, He did not come to judge but to save.  Yet there are scriptures, which indicate Jesus will judge the living and the dead.  And there are scriptures, which indicate Christians will also sit in Judgement on this world.  Jesus said He will be our brother and we will be Sons of God.

Once Jesus completed His work of the crucifixion, He became fully coequal with His Father God.  In the beginning, the Son was God Himself, introducing Himself into this Universe at its Creation.  Jesus the Son, is God in our Creation.  Once Jesus completed His crucifixion, He was able to fully sit at His Father’s Right Side.  Jesus stated that He did not know when the End Times would occur, but only The Father knew.  I would hazard to guess that once the Son sat at the Right Hand of the Father, He too knew when the End Times would occur.

EVIL IS LIKE DARKNESS AND COLD.

DARKNESS IS NOT A THING, IN AND OF ITSELF. DARKNESS IS SIMPLY THE ABSENCE OF LIGHT.  DARKNESS IS DEFINED BY LIGHT, EVEN IF IT WISHES TO BE DEFINED BY ITSELF.

COLD IS NOT A THING, IN AND OF ITSELF.  COLD IS SIMPLY THE ABSENCE OF HEAT.  COLD IS DEFINED BY HEAT, EVEN IF IT WISHES TO BE DEFINED BY ITSELF.   

SO WHY WILL HELL BE A PLACE OF ETERNAL FIRE?  AFTER ALL, FIRE IS A PLACE OF LIGHT AND HEAT!!!   

IN HELL, EVERYONE WILL KNOW, BEYOND A SHADOW OF A DOUBT, THAT GOD EXISTS AND THEY HAVE CHOSEN TO EXIST APART FROM HIM.  THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO EXIST IN THE DARK AND THE COLD, BUT WILL BE MADE TO EXIST IN THE ETERNAL KNOWLEDGE THAT THEY REJECTED GOD’S LIGHT AND HEAT.  THEY REJECTED GOD’S TRUTH AND LOVE.  THEY WILL KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOOD AND EVIL, YET WILL EXIST ONLY IN EVIL.  THEY WILL EITHER WEEP OR GNASH THEIR TEETH. THOSE, WHO WEEP WILL ETERNALLY BEMOAN THEIR LOSS. THOSE, WHO GNASH THEIR TEETH, WILL ETERNALLY HATE GOD.

BUT WILL THEY EXIST?  FOR JUST AS DARK AND COLD DO NOT REALLY EXIST APART FROM LIGHT AND HEAT, THEN TOO, EVIL WILL NOT EXIST APART FROM GOOD. YET, YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN GOD MADE HUMANITY, HE MADE US ETERNAL BEINGS. HE SPOKE US INTO EXISTENCE AND HE CANNOT GO BACK ON HIS WORD.  WE ARE ETERNAL, WITH OR WITHOUT HIM.  WE ARE ETERNAL BEINGS.  THAT IS WHY GOD SO FIERCELY FIGHTS FOR US, TO KEEP US FROM EXISTING IN NONEXISTENCE.

God said He is refining us humans, like gold.  Refining requires throwing away most of the original ore.  God’s analogy can be understood two ways.  One is that an individual must have a lot of who they are, thrown away, in order to become pure gold for God.  The second way to understand the analogy, is that a lot of individuals will be thrown away, in order to separate out the few individuals willing to be gold for God.

On average, 30 tons of material are needed to produce 1 ounce of gold.  Whichever way the analogy is understood, 30 tons is a lot of material to get one ounce of gold, one child of God (yes, I understand that equating 1 ounce to 1 soul is an assumption). There are 2,000 pounds in a ton and 16 ounces in a pound.

2,000 pounds times 30 tons is 60,000 pounds.  16 ounces times 60,000 pounds is 960,000 ounces needed to produce 1 ounce of gold. Therefore, around 99.9998958% is waste and approximately 0.0001042%  is gold.

Either that is a lot of sin to be thrown out of each individual Christian or a lot of humans thrown out to get one Christian.

I see it like this: Of the approximately 8 billion souls in the world today, only a fraction will be refined, will be saved.  Today, around 31% of the world’s population identifies as Christian.  31% of 8 billion is 2.48 billion.  We all know that many people, who call themselves Christians, do not really belong to Christ. Jesus Himself, said that many professing “christians” would not belong to Him.  So that 2.48 number gets further refined.

At this point, one might ask, are nonChristians even part of the refining process?  Considering they have never submitted themselves to the refining process, I would hazard to say, no.  You might hazard to say, yes.

Therefore, if one takes that 0.0001042% and applies it only to the 2.48 billion “christians” today, then that reduces the ounces produced to only 2.48 billion times 0.0001042 or 258,416 ounces.  If an ounce is a soul, that is worrisome.  Now God’s analogy cannot necessarily be reduced to the numbers that we like or think appropriate.  But it does make one think.

My guess is that only 7% of Christians will make it.  My thinking, is not that God’s ability to refine is limited but that humanity’s willingness to be refined is limited.  At the same time, we both realize God can do miracles.

Encouraging? Scary?

I CAN BE A REAL ASSHOLE. I KNOW THE GOOD THAT I SHOULD DO, AND I DON’T DO IT. I DESPERATELY WANT GOD TO LOVE ME, EVEN THOUGH I DO NOT DESERVE HIS LOVE. THE WONDERFUL THING IS, GOD LOVES ME ANYWAY. I KNOW HE LOVES ME, BECAUSE HE HAS PLAINLY SAID HE LOVES ME AND HE EVEN DIED FOR ME.

BUT DOES GOD RESPECT ME? DOES GOD RESPECT YOU?

LOVE AND RESPECT ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. LOVE IS GRACE. RESPECT IS TRUTH. TRUTH IS NOT GREATER THAN LOVE, BUT IT ALWAYS PRECEDES GRACE. WILL GOD’S GRACE COVER THE PEOPLE, WHO IGNORE GOD’S TRUTH, WHO DISRESPECT GOD AND END UP IN HELL? WILL GOD’S GRACE COVER THE PEOPLE, WHO PAY ATTENTION TO GOD’S TRUTH, WHO RESPECT GOD AND END UP IN HEAVEN?

TRUTH PRECEDES GRACE. RESPECT PRECEDES LOVE. GOD THE FATHER PRECEDES GOD THE SON. MAN PRECEDES WOMAN. DO NOT MEN CRAVE RESPECT AND WOMEN CRAVE LOVE?

THE WORLD IS MESSED UP, BECAUSE PEOPLE PUT GRACE BEFORE TRUTH. PEOPLE PUT THE SON BEFORE THE FATHER. PEOPLE PUT EMOTION BEFORE LOGIC. PEOPLE PUT WOMAN BEFORE MAN. AND PEOPLE PUT LOVE BEFORE RESPECT.

I err on the side of Truth.  I should not.  I should balance perfectly between Truth and Love.  Jesus did it.  Jesus still does it.  Stiving to balance the two, is my cross to carry.

If I had been an Israelite in the camp, when Moses came down with that first set of Ten Commandments chiseled into stone, I would have strapped on a sword and gone through the camp killing my fellow Israelites, who had danced in worship around that golden calf.

If I had been part of the army, tasked with “totally destroying” the Amalekites, I would have not left one bleating sheep or crowned king for Samuel to hear or see.

If I had been with David, when he heard Goliath insult the God of Israel, I would have gathered the stones for David’s sling.

If I had been on top of Mount Carmel with Elijah and the prophets of Baal, I would have made sure my sword was nice and sharp, when Elijah ordered them killed.

If I had been with Peter, in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus would have been reattaching Malchus’ head.

Of course all of this “I, I, I” is too much about “me, me, me” and not often part of God’s  desire or plan.  Certainly my interfering with Jesus wanting to go to that cross, would not be part of God’s plan.

So while Truth precedes Grace, God’s Love dominates His plan for us.  God offers us His Love, in order to get us back to His Truth.

I have trouble balancing the two, but I damned sure want to put a rock into your forehead, when you use God’s Love as an excuse to practice Lies.

In the past, I wondered about this, but dismissed my wondering as racist.  But as time has gone by, I am thinking my wonderings might be true.  They also may not be true. I do not know and God has not made all things plain in His Word. The mark God put on Cain, may have been being black.  Canaan, Noah’s grandson, was also cursed. Ishmael was also, marked by God in foretelling his future.  Today, they seem to be at natural odds with the rest of humanity. The rest of humanity tries to get along with them, but one cannot really get along with those, whose natures are hateful and violent.

Galatians 3:28 “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

To start, God is telling us that racism, classism, and sexism have no place within Christianity because everyone is equal within Christ.  Christ overcomes, who we are.

Titus 1:12-13 “One of Crete’s own prophets has said it: “Cretans are always liars, evil brutes, lazy gluttons.” This saying is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith”

That next scripture is the Apostle Paul admitting that the people of Crete have earned a well deserved, bad reputation and that the Church needs to pay special attention to stop its effect within the Church.  The Apostle Paul plainly admits that some groups of people have unique habits of sinning and should be made aware of it, so that they can repent and join Christ.  In other words, certain groups of people DO have well deserved bad reputations. For example, do Americans have a reputation, among the world community, as being overweight and self absorbed?  Yes.  Yes they do.  Reputations exist for a very real reason.  Black people have earned a well deserved reputation for laziness and violence.  Black people also have many good and noble attributes, just as do we all.  If they wish to better themselves, they must carry their cross and die to their laziness and violence, otherwise they will remain slaves to their sin.   Only in Christ, can those negative reputations be overcome.

Genesis 16:11-12 “The angel of the LORD also said to her: “You are now pregnant and you will give birth to a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the LORD has heard of your misery.  “He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers.”

Ishmael went on to have twelve sons and established the Arab people.  From the Arab people, sprang Islam.  Islam is against the entire world, plainly stating that they will take over through violence and forced submission.  While Muslims falsely claim to worship the same God as Jews and Christians, they do not.   Their god is Satan.  Like everyone, they can repent and ask Jesus for salvation.

2 Timothy 2:20 “In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for noble purposes and some for ignoble use.

God Himself, has stated that He makes us all for His purposes.  We may not like this.  We may complain, Why am I blind, why am I cripple, why am I this, why am I that?  We may complain how we were born, or what circumstances we were born into.  We may complain that it is not fair; God created us to live in a situation, which limits us or makes us less desirable!  These are the types of questions Lot asked, and God answered.  We are all born with pluses and minuses.  God does what He wishes and His goodness and glory will result, if we each humble ourselves before Him.  Who are we to question God?  God did what He did with Cain, and with Ishmael, for His own purposes.  The results of what God has done are real, on this earth and around us.  Who are we to question God?  We must accept what God has allowed, humble ourselves before Him, and live lives of humility in Truth and in Love.

Now while God has “marked” some of us, this does not mean any of us are superior.  The opposite is True.  The second great commandment, is to love our neighbor as ourselves.  We are to recognize that we each sin, and totally need the Grace of Christ.  We are each, to acknowledge our own limitations.  We would each be wise, to remember that God uses the weak things, the dishonorable things to humble the proud.  We should each work in Christ, to overcome our limitations.  And we are each commanded, to produce good things with our talents.

Let me remind you that each of us are individually made in God’s Image. God values us all equally. Christ died on that cross for each and every human being. Supremacist and racists, of any flavor, who claim someone is superior to another, work for Satan. People, who claim Jews are inferior, work for Satan. If this is you, you WILL burn in Hell for eternity, where your worm will never die. Repent.

You may think me racist for pointing these things out.  Go argue with God.

John 1:17 says, Jesus came to this earth to bring us Grace AND Truth.  Both are equally important to be like Jesus, just like an airplane needs two wings to fly.  Jesus balanced the two perfectly. We humans, are not so perfect. We CANNOT belong to Jesus, unless we strive to practice both.  It is our cross to carry.

Throughout the Bible, God describes Himself in three primary ways.  He is Truth, He is Love (Grace), and He is Spirit.  Jesus (Love) said, we must worship His Father in Truth and in Spirit. More on that later, to better understand God’s Holy Spirit.

Grace without Truth produces cheap Grace, which cannot save.  Truth without Grace produces legalism, which also cannot save.    Both are equally important to us humans.  Both are equally, who God is.

Remember where God says, Faith without Deeds is dead?  In the same way, Grace without Truth is also dead.  THAT is a hard pill for most Christians to swallow, but it is reality. Most Christians today, think the number one thing about God is Love.  The World, regularly thinks the number one thing about God is Love. They are wrong AND they are not wrong, because God is One, yet Truth precedes Love (Grace). Is our concern of Grace for humanity, greater than our concern of Truth for God?

Consider that while Truth without Grace (Love) produces dead legalism, Truth is still Truth.  It would be “the cold hard truth”, but it would still be Truth. Love without Truth is not Love. It is deception.

Truth precedes Grace.  Was there a need for Grace before angels and humans?  Must not Christians first admit the Truth about themselves, before receiving the Grace of salvation?  Is not Truth, simply God’s Cup of Wrath, ready to spill over and only temporarily held in abeyance by His Grace?  Remember, God IS Truth and God IS Love.  Yet eventually, His Truth will prevail, there will be Judgement, and there will be no more need for Grace.  God’s Truth will remain on those in Hell and those in Heaven, but His Love (Grace) will have been removed forever from those in Hell.  God’s Grace will continue on those in Heaven as Love.  There will be no more need for Grace. Truth precedes Grace.

Why did God put man in charge of woman? Are not men more logic or Truth based? Are not women more emotion or Grace based? God said men and women are equal but different. Why did God put men in charge of women?   My thought is that originally Adam was a complete human, but God decided he needed a help mate, someone to help keep him from being lonely. So God took a part out of Adam and put it into Eve. Now that part of Adam no longer existed within himself, it existed within Eve. Put one good man and one good woman together, and you get one decent human being. Yet, one still needs to lead, at least according to God. This would be an ugly world without women. This would be a chaotic world without men.

Why did God say, the human heart is deceitful and beyond cure? Why did God say, Come let us reason together? Why did Satan approach Eve first and not Adam, to get that piece of fruit eaten?  Satan continues to temp humanity through our emotions.  Did Jesus “feel” like going to that cross?   Jesus went to that cross, because He knew the Truth of what would be accomplished.

God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit can be understood as the three ways He describes Himself in the Bible, those being, Truth, Love, and Spirit.  The Father can well be understood as Truth.  The Son can well be understood as Love.  The Spirit can well be understood as Intent.  God’s Spirit is Truth shared in Love.

When we humans describe someone as having a bad or a good spirit, are we not describing their intent?  When God says, there are bad spirits and there are good spirits, is He not describing intent?  I am not trying to pigeonhole God into one word, yet it helps me to understand who He is.  God the Father is Truth.  God the Son is Love.  And God the Spirit is Intent.  God is Three in One.  All are just as important as the other, yet one leads.  Did not Jesus say, He only said and did what His Father told Him?  Does not the Holy Spirit lead His people in the way of the Father, in the way of Truth in Love?  Truth precedes Grace.

There is a reason Truth needs to be forcefully presented to this lost world. Acceptance of Truth leads to Grace.  Jesus has showed us Love, in order to get us back to Truth.

Today, most people think God is mostly about Grace and not so much about Truth.  That is a lie.  God gives us Grace, so we can get back to Truth.  Once we are back in Heaven with God, we will live an existence of Truth and Grace will not be needed as it is today.

Today, the world is unbalanced because Love is being used to precede Truth.   Leftism, which is Satan’s side in the Spiritual War waging around us, uses Love as a weapon. Satan perverts Love to deceive us. Is not sex, a thing of beauty when practiced in Truth, the thing most perverted among humans today? Do not the LGBQT and Woke churches, claim Love makes it OK to sin? Satan used Love to trick Eve in that Garden long ago. Eve was more susceptible via the emotion of Love, than was Adam via the logic of Truth. The god of Leftism is empathy.  Empathy is good, but without Truth, it has been deadly when used against us.

God leads the Son.   Truth leads Grace.  Man leads woman.  Logic leads emotion.  This would be an ugly world without Love and women. Yet, when women lead, chaos results. All of this does not mean the Father does not consider the Son, or Truth does not consider Love, or man does not consider woman, or logic does not consider emotion. They do and good comes from that consideration.

Today, many people have not received the Grace they think they have, because they do not put Truth first.  Believe, repent, admit Christ is your redeemer from sin, be baptized and THEN receive Grace.  AND then continue practicing Truth, while living the Grace.

Meditate on Matthew 5:6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.”       

Hint, hint: righteousness IS Truth.

Hebrew means, One who crosses over (from the other side of the river).

Israel means, One who struggles with God.

Jew means, One from the tribe of Judah.

Abraham was called a Hebrew because he obeyed God and crossed over the Euphrates River and then again crossed over the Jordan River into the Land that would be promised to him.  Jacob came from his grandfather, Abraham, the Hebrew.

Jacob, many years later, stayed behind and wrestled all night with God, after his family had crossed over the Jabbok River.  In the morning, God renamed him Israel, blessed him, and gave his hip a limp.  Esau, his brother, then received him favorably and did not kill him.  All of Israel came from Jacob, the Israelite.

King David was given an eternal promise by God, that he himself knew he did not deserve.  God promised that King David would eternally have a Kingdom through his lineage.  King David was of the Israelite lineage, of one of the twelve tribes, named Judah.  Judah was one of the twelve sons of Jacob (Israel).  Jew means Judah.  The twelve tribes remained for a long time, perhaps even today, but eventually the Kingdom split into two parts with the Northern part often being incorporated into surrounding people and nations.  The Kingdom of Judah, in the South, remained the dominant tribe, which occupied Jerusalem.

Christians today, understand that Jesus Christ was of the tribe of Judah and that He is the fulfillment of God’s promise to King David of an eternal Kingdom.  Christians understand that the Christ allows us to cross over from death to life. Jesus is a Jew.

Jesus came to this earth to bring us Grace AND Truth (John 1:17). Both are equally important to be like Jesus. Balancing both is difficult for us humans, but it is our cross to carry.

In Ecclesiastes, Solomon bemoaned the fate of the wise and the foolish.  He recognized that wisdom is better than foolishness, just as light is better than darkness, yet he bemoaned that each will die, that the same fate awaits both the wise and the foolish.   Solomon ignored the Truth that most of Israel ignores, even today.  We humans were created in God’s Image.  God’s Image is eternal, thus humanity is eternal.  Even today, most of Israel ignores the reality that after our physical death, our Souls will continue on eternally.  God cannot unmake us, anymore than He can be unTruthful .  Instead, He assigns us an eternal place with Him or an eternal place separate from Him.  Most of Israel today still thinks we end at death, thus they behave accordingly.  They behave as if now is all there will ever be for humanity, and that creates a perverted understanding, a perverted behavior.  Israel DOES understand what Solomon understood, that a wise man pleases God and can rest in assurance that he lived to please God and thus his work will be blessed, while a fool merely surrenders what he has physically worked for to another coming after him, because he did not live to please God. This is a fatalistic way to think, that we can live a moral productive life pleasing to God, or we can live an immoral productive life displeasing to God and then both cease to exist.  THAT is a depressing way to live and is exactly what Solomon was bemoaning, that both the moral and the immoral have the same fate of death.    Again what Israel today ignores, is that there is more after death, that living one’s life today in morality and plenty is just as good as living one’s life today in morality and want.  THAT is what The Messiah teaches.

UNDERSTAND THAT TRUTH PRECEDES GRACE. IT IS NOT MORE IMPORTANT THAN GRACE, BUT IT DOES PRECEDE GRACE. BEFORE GOD CREATED ANGELS OR HUMANS, WAS THERE A NEED FOR GRACE? MUST NOT CHRISTIANS FIRST ADMIT THE TRUTH ABOUT THEMSELVES, BEFORE THEY RECEIVE THE GRACE OF SALVATION? IS NOT TRUTH, SIMPLY GOD’S CUP OF WRATH BEING FILLED TO OVERFLOWING, AND ONLY HELD IN TEMPORARY ABEYANCE BY HIS GRACE? WILL GRACE BE NEEDED IN HEAVEN, ONCE THE FINAL JUDGEMENT HAS OCCURRED? GOD IS TRUTH AND GOD IS LOVE (GRACE). EVENTUALLY HIS LOVE WILL PREVAIL AND THERE WILL BE NO MORE NEED FOR GRACE, BECAUSE TRUTH WILL HAVE FIRST PREVAILED. GOD’S GRACE WILL SIMPLY CONTINUE AS LOVE. TRUTH PRECEDES GRACE.

DO YOU NEED MORE PROOF THAT TRUTH PRECEDES GRACE? CONSIDER THAT GOD MADE MAN IN HIS IMAGE AND THIS WAS GOOD. ADAM WAS COMPLETE. YET GOD DECIDED, MAN NEEDED A MATE AND TOOK A PART OUT OF ADAM AND MADE EVE WITH THAT PART. NOW THAT PART NO LONGER EXISTED IN ADAM, IT NOW EXISTS IN EVE. MEN ARE MORE RATIONAL AND WOMEN ARE MORE EMOTIONAL. PUT ONE GOOD MAN AND ONE GOOD WOMAN TOGETHER AND YOU GET ONE COMPLETE HUMAN BEING. GOD SAID, MAN AND WOMAN SHOULD BE JOINED INTO ONE.

NOW, WE ALL KNOW HOW DIFFICULT MARRIAGE CAN BE, FOR A MAN AND A WOMAN TO PROPERLY JOIN. BUT, THAT IS GOD’S GOAL FOR US. AND IT IS OUR CROSS TO CARRY. ONE WITHOUT THE OTHER, IS NOT COMPLETE. EACH IS EQUALLY NEEDED TO BE HUMAN, TO BE MADE IN GOD’S IMAGE.

YET GOD HIMSELF SAID, MAN SHOULD LEAD WOMAN. WHY? BECAUSE LOGIC SHOULD LEAD EMOTION, BECAUSE TRUTH SHOULD LEAD GRACE, BECAUSE LOVE FLOWS OUT OF TRUTH. GOD SAID THE HEART IS DECEITFUL AND BEYOND CURE. HE ALSO SAID, COME AND LET US REASON TOGETHER. SATAN ATTACKED EVE FIRST, BECAUSE HE KNEW HE COULD INFLUENCE HUMANITY MOST EASILY THROUGH EMOTION. TODAY, SATAN STILL MOST OFTEN ATTACKS US THROUGH OUR EMOTIONS. LOGIC OR TRUTH MUST LEAD EMOTION OR GRACE.

DID JESUS EMOTIONALLY FEEL LIKE GOING TO THAT CROSS? NO HE DID NOT, BUT HE WENT ANYWAY BECAUSE THE TRUTH WAS HIS FATHER WANTED HIM TO GO TO THAT CROSS. TRUTH PRECEDED GRACE, AND ARE YOU NOT GLAD IT DID? JESUS COULD BE DESCRIBED AS MORE EMOTIONAL AND HE CERTAINLY DISPLAYS GRACE. GOD THE FATHER COULD BE DESCRIBED AS MORE LOGICAL AND HE CERTAINLY DISPLAYS TRUTH. DID NOT JESUS SAY, HE ONLY SAID AND DID WHAT THE FATHER TOLD HIM? TRUTH PRECEDES GRACE. JESUS NOW SITS AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER AND IS CO-EQUAL WITH THE FATHER, SO GRACE AND TRUTH ARE CO-EQUAL. YET TRUTH PRECEDES GRACE (LOVE), AND GOD’S SPIRIT ENTWINES THEM ALL TOGETHER.

SO LEFTISTS ARE GOOD AT GRACE, BUT SUCK AT PRACTICING TRUTH. PERHAPS THAT IS WHY OUR WORLD IS IN SUCH TURMOIL. GRACE HAS TOO OFTEN BEEN LEADING TRUTH, NOT THAT TRUTH DOES NOT NEED TO LISTEN TO GRACE. IT DOES. AND UNDOUBTEDLY OUR WORLD IS IN TURMOIL, DUE ALSO TO TRUTH NOT LISTENING WELL. BUT BOTTOM LINE, LEFTISM, WHICH WE ALL KNOW IS EMOTION BASED, NEEDS TO LET LOGICALLY BASED RIGHTISM DO THE LEADING. AND THE SPIRIT CAN HOLD IT ALL TOGETHER.

There are four trees in the Bible. The first can be found in Genesis. Adam and Eve were allowed to eat from that tree of Life, as much as they wished. That tree would have allowed them to live forever. It must have been a very pleasant and tasty tree, something God wished them to enjoy in abundance.

The second tree, God specifically told them not to eat from, the tree of Knowledge of good and evil. This tree was located in the center of the garden, it was likely hard to miss. God was not hiding it from them. Personally, I like to imagine God was waiting for Adam and Eve to mature in wisdom, before having some of its fruit. Maybe not. Perhaps He had a different plan. Either way, God told them not to eat from it, or they would die. So, Knowledge leads to death. Today, we certainly kill ourselves with Knowledge.

Of course, we all know the story. They ate from the tree, and we die. Rats!!! Now, people sometimes dismissively point out that Adam did not immediately die. Was God lying? After all, God did say, he would die but He did not necessarily say, right away. I mean, if someone told me not to eat rat poison, and then I ate some, I would expect to die fairly quickly, right? But keep in mind, God said to Him, a thousand years is like a day, and a day like a thousand years. Adam is recorded as dying at 930 years of age, so perhaps he ate the forbidden fruit, when he was 70? Whatever. They ate the fruit, we have knowledge, and we die. The second tree brings us blessings and curses. I mean, knowledge IS pretty useful and death does suck.

The third tree is our way out of this predicament. The greatest gift God gave to humanity, is life. He created us in His Image and we exist. We are thinking, feeling Beings. We messed up our chance at life, but He has given us a second chance at life, through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ humbled Himself and submitted to being crucified on a Cross to pay the penalty, the righteous requirement, the redemptive price for our sins. And remember, our sins come about because of our Knowledge of good and evil from that second tree. If Adam and Eve had not done wrong, we would not have needed Christ to die on that Cross. But tell the Truth, if Adam and Eve had behaved themselves, would you have behaved? So, Christ allowed Himself to be sacrificed on that Cross, for Adam and for YOU. That Cross is the third tree. God’s Word, specifically describes that Cross as a tree. God’s Word, specifically said not to let a condemned person hang on a tree overnight. That is why they took Jesus’ body down before sunset, after He died. They were not necessarily being respectful of Christ. They were being respectful of God. Wait, did that make sense? Whatever. That Cross was the third tree.

Now it is interesting that in Revelation, God describes how those, who have washed their robes in Christ’s blood, who participate in that third tree, are again allowed to eat from the tree of Life growing in the Kingdom of Heaven. We can go full circle. We will enjoy unlimited life, we will have gained knowledge, and we will have gained wisdom to handle that knowledge. Is not wisdom simply knowledge, properly used, which produces life? We will have experienced all three trees. We will have come full circle. We will have experienced the fullness of Christ. Alleluia!!!!!

But what about that fourth tree? Where does that fourth tree fit into that circle of Life? Well, it doesn’t. The fourth tree does not belong in this story. The fourth tree will be thrown out into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Jesus taught His disciples about this fourth tree, as they walked along a road. Jesus saw a fig tree and was hungry. He wanted some food to sustain His earthly Life. He was hungry for Life. He approached the tree and saw it had no fruit. It was useless, for meeting his need for Life. It was unfruitful. Jesus cursed that tree. Later, when they walked past that tree again, His disciples were amazed how that tree was now withered and good for nothing, other than being thrown into a fire. Obviously, Jesus was again teaching with an analogy, a parable, an example. This is the fourth tree, which provides no benefit to humanity. It is not a part of the “circle of Life”. This fourth tree is death and the eternal pit of separation, reserved for Satan and his followers.

Stay away from that fourth tree. Die to yourself daily on that third tree, so that you will gain Godly wisdom from that second tree, and someday eat to your heart’s content again from that first tree.

Horseshoe politics is the concept that Left and Right are not located on a straight line, but are located on a horseshoe shape with moderates located at the top middle and the extreme Left and Right at opposing ends of the horseshoe.  🧲   

With this arrangement, extreme Left and Right are actually closer to each other than they are to the middle.  In other words, socialism and fascism are actually closer to each other than they are to the middle, even though they are at opposite ends (Yes, I know fascism is similar to socialism). Also, those who hate the Jews while loving the Palestinians and those who blame the Jews (Zionism) for everything while proclaiming Christ, are actually closer to each other than they are to the middle, even though they are at opposite ends.

Ecclesiastes 7:8 “It is good to grasp the one and not let go of the other.  Whoever fears God will avoid all extremes.”

Ecclesiastes 10:2 “The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left.”

Proverbs 4:27 “Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your feet from evil.”

Matthew 7:13-14  “Enter through the narrow gate.  For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

Matthew 25:33 “He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.”

With God’s perspective in mind, one best positions themselves in the middle, while solidly leaning Right.

There is much more that supports this Biblically.  Let me start with female and male.  Females tend to lean Left because they are more emotional, security, organizational, and Love driven.  Males tend to lean Right because they are more logical, aggression, structural, and Truth driven.  God specifically told men to lead.

John 1:17 says, Jesus came to bring us Grace AND Truth.  Both are equally important to be like Jesus the Son, to be like God the Father.  We humans, desperately need both Grace and Truth.  Grace without Truth produces cheap, dead Grace.  Truth without Grace, produces dead legalism.  We humans must balance Grace and Truth to be like God.  Jesus did it perfectly.  We humans struggle to balance the two.  THAT is our cross to carry.  Horseshoe politics.

Jesus said, He only did and said what His Father told Him.  Jesus lets His Father lead Him.  Jesus could be described as more Left leaning or more Grace leaning.  God the Father could be described as more Right leaning or more Truth leaning.  The Father and Son are One, and we are like Him, in that we have a Left AND a Right leaning nature.  After all, we were created in His Image.  God did say our hearts are deceitful (emotion) and that we should come together and reason (logic) with Him.  God leans Right and we should too.

Truth precedes Grace (Love).  Before angels or humans were created, was there a need for Grace?  Before a human can receive the Grace of salvation, do they not first have to admit the Truth about themselves?  Is not God’s Cup of Wrath, simply Him displaying the Truth that He cannot tolerate evil, while displaying His Grace (patience) before it eventually overflows and He destroys evil?  Will Grace be necessary in Heaven, once Truth has prevailed in Judgement. It will certainly continue as Love, but not so much as Grace.  Truth precedes Grace.  Horseshoe politics.

God describes Himself in three primary ways.  God is Truth. God is Love (Grace).  God is Spirit.  All three are who God is.  One does not exist without the other.  Yet, The Father centers, leads, and unifies.  Horseshoe politics, leaning Right.

Am reading God’s Word again, front to back, and each time find new things, particularly in the Old Testament.  Read the New Testament piecemeal constantly, because it has such immediate life giving usefulness, but reading the whole, front to back, usually takes a few months, and the  Old Testament tidbits often require longer digestion.

Anyway, while reading 2 Chronicles 1, began to wonder why King David had the Ark located in Jerusalem, and Moses’s Tent of Meeting Tabernacle (with altar) located in Gibeon?  I mean, should David not have moved and kept them together?  Should separating, what God had gone into so much minute detail with Moses about making, have been broken into pieces?

So I did what any red blooded, American, Twenty-first Century Christian would do.  I Googled it.  Well actually, I DuckDuckGo’d it, because I don’t like Google.  And after briefly looking through several explanations, I found this one, which appears to be a new nugget of life sustaining information.

Now, how accurate this information is, I do not fully yet know.  I strongly suspect, this human conjecture holds Truth. It might be an acorn of life sustaining protein, or it might be a berry that poisons me.  I think it is good protein.  Please read it and give me your advice.

God loves life.  Satan loves death.  The first thing God said in Genesis was, Be fruitful and multiply.  The first thing Satan said was, You will not die.  Throughout the entire Bible, God said, Choose life and not death.  Jesus said it, lived it, died it, and now lives it again.  The entire Bible can be summed up with these two sentences.  Give glory to God.  Choose life and not death.  His glorious life, is the greatest gift God has given us. And He has given us a second chance at it.

There is a pattern established in the Bible.   God told Israel they must stay in Egyptian slavery a bit longer, until the sins of the people currently in The Promised Land had reached a limit that He could not tolerate anymore.  Those sins were listed as sex with family members, homosexuals, animals, non spouses, and sacrificing their children to an idol.  Once Israel crossed into The Promised Land, God told them to completely destroy these people, because He did not want Israel to be polluted by them and begin practicing their sin.  Israel did not completely destroy them and eventually began practicing their sins.

Over time, Israel began practicing Asher and Baal worship.  Asher was the goddess of fertility and they carved Asher poles and practiced orgies in high places, under trees.  Baal was the god of earthly things and they built idols of Baal, where they would burn their children alive on his hands, shaped like a frying pan.

At first, Israel did not stray too terribly far from properly worshipping God.  They eventually even rose to the point of building a Temple for the Ark of God, in Jerusalem.   King David and his son Solomon helped bring this about.  But sadly, once Solomon died, the Kingdom split into two parts, with the northern Kingdom being called Israel and the southern Kingdom being called Judea.  The northern Kingdom quickly became known for worshipping both Asher and Baal.  They greatly angered God and continued their false worship, until being carried away into captivity.  The southern Kingdom was more obedient to God, but did allow some Asher and Baal worship.  Over time the southern kingdom mostly stopped the Baal worship but allowed Asher worship to continue.  So God was less displeased with them.  Only with their last king, did they stop the Asher worship too.  Eventually, both Kingdoms were carried away into captivity, as punishment for angering God.

Throughout this entire multi-century period, of kings ruling poorly, God again and again complained of their worship of Asher and Baal.  God’s complaint was a reoccurring  theme, particularly throughout First and Second Kings in the Bible.  Remember, God loves life and His greatest gift to us IS life.  The whole reason He sent Himself to us, in His Son Jesus, was to give us a second chance at life.  Jesus is, His second gift of life to us.  With that in mind, the history of Israel messing up again and again, by worshipping the illicit sex of Asher and worshipping the murder of babies with Baal, shows us the historical battle that God has long been having with Satan.  Remember, Satan loves death.  God loves life.

Today, we are still angering God, by doing the exact same thing.  We still practice illicit sex and murdering babies.  Perverted sex and Abortion are still with us today.  We are still doing exactly what angered God, all those centuries ago with Israel.  There is nothing new under the sun.  We Christians are doing the exact same things that God’s people, Israel, did all those centuries ago.

In Leviticus 20:1-5, God said He was so disgusted with Israel for looking the other way, when other people practiced adulterous sex and sacrificing children, that He turned His back on them all, other than 7,000.  That means, He no longer claimed them as belonging to Him.  The same is True today.  God has turned His back on Christians, because they are looking the other way, when others allow illicit children and their destruction with Abortion.

If a Christian gives their money to magazines, movies, or websites that provide illicit sex, are they not participating in what offends God?  But wait, you Christians say, we do not give our support to such things!  Good.  Do you give your votes of support to politicians, who legislate the legal murder of unborn babies?  Do you?

Stop being stupid.  God is not stupid.  The exact same history of rebellion, against God’s gift of life, has never stopped.  We are still doing the exact same thing, we humans have done since the beginning.  We are doing the exact same thing, Israel is recorded in the Bible as doing.  Lie about it all you want, but that lie is going to get you an eternity burning in Hell, where your worm will never die.  On the first day of the three trillionth gazillionth year, that you burn, you will lust to again experience just one moment of the absolutely worst day of your life on this earth.  But it will not be given to you.
