How do we, as a collective, combat this? How do you combat this?

For most of 2025-26, I’ve been making hot-headed videos, fanning the flames of my own rage, hoping to inspire some fantastical rebellion, but I got the attention of MAGA bots and the F.B.I. visited me instead. The good people I interacted with regularly shared my rage, and I gained followers (for what could be considered a performance), but no real solution was invoked.

I’ve changed my tactics. Despite the absolute cesspool that is Facebook, TikTok, and X, there are ways to reach those ready to get hands-on with solutions. For me, this has been accomplished through opening up conversation pipelines in my algorithm with people who were once on the “opposing side”. In other words, those whom I once assumed were stupid before giving them the time of day.

Some of these folks still hold beliefs that contradict mine, but not in a way that hurts the American collective as the Trump regime does. Not even close. Opening up my mind and heart taught me things I didn’t know were true about my fellow right-leaning Americans. For instance, I’m learning that some conservative women do care about protecting women’s rights; that some conservative men don’t hate women, and that both care about protecting all children, immigrant or not; that they see the corruption and treason that Lefty me sees and want to team up with Americans like me to fix it. Ultimately, I’m pleased that these red-blooded Americans want to see justice served as much as I do.

A rehabilitated and strong connection to each other as Americans is everything the Trump regime is terrified of, and despite their efforts, we are making it happen! It is happening not only because Americans are fed up with the treachery and treason, but because some of us are learning to resist our primal negativity bias. We see the game and how it’s played, and we’re countering.

As we speak, I’m working to lead by example, inspiring other Americans to acknowledge the regime’s tactics as psychological warfare meant to play on our human survival instincts. Americans have the power to make the algorithm serve our resistance movement. This begins with people interacting with stories of hope and cooperation rather than stories of rage and distrust. Don’t discard the rage, or hide the stories; flip enraging content meant to invoke viral fury into a plan of action for others to get behind. Then share it in a way that reaches a wider audience than just your friends.

If we are clever in how we craft our content, we can use rage bait meant for evil into a call for solid solutions, igniting hope and action amongst our communities. It will take discipline, careful wording, and fortitude. This is a high-intensity mental task, but keep in mind that our newly crafted message will likely reach those outside our algorithm, bringing us closer to understanding and working alongside our fellow Americans.

Since I’ve been finding common ground with right-leaning Americans, my algorithm consists of an array of people who all want to see the end of the Trump regime and are willing to put differences aside for the greater good. This is the direction I’m committed to going in. I hope to see others join me when they are ready.

I must say, the Trump regime, the techno-oligarchs, and the criminals in Congress should’ve respected the tenacity and intelligence of the American people. In my mind, we are a force to be reckoned with.
