Get ready to embark on a journey into the imaginal realm this week! Mercury will receive retroactive gratitude for helping us keep track of and document the details of the experience as the messenger planet holds council with the sun throughout the week’s cosmic events. Mercury blazed through the zodiac sign Leo and grounded into Virgo on August 26th. The midpoint of Mercury’s current cycle will be reached on August 27th; reflect on what was getting stirred up in your mind and heart in mid-July. Memories from that time will help process and make sense of what may surface and is maturing this week.

The surfacing relates to tonight’s Pisces full moon/partial lunar eclipse that will crest overnight on Friday, August 28th at 12:18 am (ET). This full moon will push and blur boundaries and cause the imaginal to feel a little stranger as the opposition between the sun/Mercury in Virgo and full moon in Pisces will be challenged by unusual, yet thought-provoking Uranus Gemini. Pisces is transcendence itself and holds the energy of some of life’s greatest ponderings and unknowns. Full moons usually bring things to the surface, especially when there’s also an eclipse. Expect the unexpected and the weird leading up to and throughout the weekend. As the week and the month close out, we’ll have some assistance and fiery motivation to bring something from the imaginal into fruition as expansive Jupiter and responsible Saturn connect harmoniously.

♌ Leo: Dedicate some time and attention to the flow of your resources. This includes income, expenditures, time, and clutter that may need clearing. Refinement can build your confidence.

Weekly Astrology Summary:

The cosmos is currently dominated by the fire and air elements. While these elements inspire action and are the spark and spice of life, their fast pace can be overwhelming at times. On Saturday, August 22nd we can welcome in some grounding, practical, refining earth energy with the sun’s shift in the zodiac sign Virgo. The flavor of Virgo season this year, especially the beginning, will feel different for two important reasons. One, the sun will immediately make a harmonious connection with master Chiron sitting quietly in the early degrees of Taurus. This will add support for making sense of some of the lessons and things surfacing during the current eclipse season. Two, for the first time in ~18 months, Virgo season will begin without the co-presence of the south node of the moon. The south node is a point of release and one of Virgo’s qualities is purification. It’s probably felt like this constant pressure to surrender or let go of something that was creating inefficiency in life. That pressure is now gone, and we can all breathe a little more easily and enjoy Virgo season more than we have for a while. Virgo’s not all about organizing, crunching numbers, and having a critical eye. It’s also about celebrating the beauty and bountiful earth, the harvest season here in the northern hemisphere, devotion, and feeling whole and well in our earthly human bodies. Rising Sign Horoscopes for August 13th - August 19th

♉ Taurus: How can you meditate more? Meditation can be anything that quiets the mind to tune more deeply into your heart and your spirit. Meditate more this week; the root of your being is beckoning.

♊ Gemini: How can you amplify your voice? Your heart’s loudspeaker is stronger than your words alone. Align the two with the same message and send it out into the Aether from both sources to manifest your dreams.

♋ Cancer: Are you your biggest cheerleader? Your own self-confidence is an inside job, which you can then project in your outside job. Mindset is everything. Believe in yourself, assert yourself, and welcome the growth.

♌ Leo: How do you express your inner child? Regardless of age, the inner child is present to remind you to play and invite joy into your life. Do whatever brings you that buoyant feeling and puts a smile on your face.

♐ Sagittarius: What are you waiting for? There’s a creation of yours that’s ready for “publishing” or birthing into the world. Push through any real or perceived limitations and go for it.

♑ Capricorn: Is your family wealthy? Consider wealth outside of solely monetary definitions. The ways in which your family’s wealth and your inheritance may still be hidden are coming to light.

♒ Aquarius: Is there a golden opportunity right under your nose? Look no further than your immediate partnerships and family for support. Sometimes all that’s needed is to let your guard down and ask.

♓ Pisces: Where is there unnecessary excess? Look at your daily, weekly, and monthly habits to identify overspending, overindulging, and overconsuming. Trimming in these areas will help your overall budget.

Weekly Astrology Summary:

Messenger Mercury is having big conversations this week. Mercury will first meet up with Jupiter in Leo’s den on August 15th. This is a time to be more passionate about big ideas and big dreams that align with your heart’s biggest desires. Mercury and Jupiter come together roughly once per year; this time in Leo is a great time for inspiration with support from the cosmos. The support comes with duty and reinforcement from Mercury’s next connection, which is with Saturn on August 17th. Mercury and Jupiter together encourage the expansive dream and Mercury and Saturn together provide the scaffolding for the dream to become reality. They will communicate across the zodiac by what’s called a trine of the fire element from Mercury in Leo to Saturn in Aries. Fire is inspiration itself, so take advantage of these two almost simultaneous alignments. A little extra rest to foster dreaming time may be required as Mars squares off with Neptune on August 17th as well. Mars/Neptune interactions may decrease motivation and increase sluggishness on and around the day they occur.

The shift of the nodes of the moon into Leo (south node) and Aquarius (north node) is finally permanent by both calculation methods on August 18th. This secures the nodal energy for the next ~18 months (this was covered in greater detail back on July 30).

This is a great week to look up! The annual Perseids meteor shower peaks this week on August 12th - 13th. It’ll be prime viewing time since the peak occurs during the new moon’s darkness. Weekly Astrology Summary:

All three personal planets are on the move and the week’s finale packs an energetic punch! Up first on August 6th, venerable Venus is done processing things in Virgo and floats off into home domicile Libra. Aesthetics, peace, harmony, and balance become more important and may dominate the air waves as Venus connects harmoniously with Uranus and Pluto. The Mercury retrograde post-shadow period ends the same day; the emotional roots of things that surfaced during the recent retrograde should be flowing and primed for action. Motivation for action and communicating from the heart for feeling and healing will come online even more mid-week as Mercury finally leaves the zodiac sign Cancer shifting into Leo on August 9th. Following Mercury’s tracks and lead, Mars dives into Cancer on August 11th after much mental sharpening in Gemini. Here in the moon’s territory, Mars is ready to feel, to protect, and to put thought into sensitive action.

By the end of the week, we may feel like we’re just getting reoriented with all the shifts that already occurred and then the Leo new moon arrives with a bang as it’s also a total solar eclipse! The sun and the moon meet up in the lion’s den on August 12th at 1:36 p.m. (ET), in the sun’s domain, setting the cosmos ablaze amongst the co-presence of Jupiter and Mercury. That’s a lot of fire. Unleash your wild heart with passion and ferocity! The unleashing that this new moon is urging us to do will most likely come with a change or letting go of something due to the eclipse and the influence coming from Saturn and Neptune in Aries. WHAT IS ALREADY WITH YOU

You hold in your hand that which you seek. In other words, the pair of spectacles you have been rummaging around the house for, are sitting on top of your head. What you are seeking, perhaps by exploring for and wide, is actually right under your nose. You may not like this idea! It is so much more wonderful to imagine there is something yet to find. Of course, there is unlimited creative potential and always something more that can be - yet in this instance, it is important for you to know that you already have what you need and what you want. That doesn't mean it’s the end of the story, although it does ask you to give up the fantasy that a perfect solution lies in the future somewhere. Instead it asks you to acknowledge that everything necessary for success is with you now. All you need do is accept this and act with what you have available to you. This is good news. This particular chapter has a happy ending in store. That ending will become real for you just as soon as you stop trying to skip forward to the next chapter. Better to be completely present in the now. From here, the next phase will naturally happen without force on your part.

It might not seem like you have much to start with. Perhaps you feel that all you have is a small, simple choice to make - perhaps you have a song to begin, an email to send, a conversation to start or a sketch to let loose. However small, it is enough to get the ball rolling. Don’t make the mistake of believing that what you need is behind you, lies with another or is yet to appear. You have all that you need to take the next step in your life and from that, all else will flow. And there is a sweetness to that. It is a small pleasure at first, but one from which greater pleasures can unfurl.

This oracle also comes with special guidance for you. You are more ready than you think you are. You are more prepared than you realize. You don’t need an entire army of resources to move ahead - although you may find that when you do move, many resources suddenly become apparent. All that you need in this moment is just one sweet act of nourishment. That is enough to take you out of backwards nostalgia or regret, and forwards into what is awaiting you now. Be brave. Dig deep within. And enjoy the sweet surrender.

HEALING PROCESS

Hug yourself by wrapping your arms around your body. Can you summon love for yourself?

Feel what comes up for you with this. Do you think it is silly and resist it? Can you soften and melt into it?

Feel love for yourself. You are as deserving of love as anyone. Can you accept this love from yourself now?

Feel your heart beat in your chest and the flow of your breath. You are alive. You are connected to life and you can trust in yourself, your own mind, your own body, your own breath. Just be with yourself and know that all is going to be okay. Reassure yourself that letting go of the past is as natural as the passing of the seasons of life.

When you are ready, stand up, open your arms wide and hold them above your head for a moment. Imagine your heart and hands are open and shining out the beautiful light that is within you.

Imagine the universe receiving it and saying “Yes!” to you. If you are feeling cheeky and ready, send a big, “YES!” back to the universe and laugh!

That is all. That is enough. You are enough. So be it.

As we come down from the intensity of last week’s cosmic events and full moon, we can shift our focus onto another important lunar aspect. The nodes of the moon*, also known as the personal and collective growth and release points, are shifting zodiac signs/axes to Aquarius and Leo. The nodes of the moon change signs roughly every 18.5 months; the last shift was in January 2025 (Pisces/Virgo). Personally and collectively, we may begin to experience repeating themes from early-2008 to mid-2009, 18.5 years before then, etc. This shift is accompanied by the themes of the new signs/elements, their ruling planets, and will also change the landscape of the eclipses we’ll experience. With the north node in Aquarius, we may become more community-oriented, experience revolutionary events, see scientific breakthroughs or new inventions, and want more liberation and freedom in life. There can also be more tendencies toward control, concentration of power, and rebellion from oppressed people. The south node in Leo encourages us to stand out by gifting heart-centered creations to the collective, and to release any expectation of validation, attention, or accolades. In specific areas of our lives, it’s our passion to shine for the sake of shining! Leo in overdrive can be pompous, egotistical, and overly dramatic, always desiring to be the center of attention. Striking a balance in the dynamic between these two opposing signs is where we’ll find the greatest growth and lessons until the nodes shift again in early-2028.

It’s a whopper of a week, cosmic tribe! Every day presents energetic opportunities to slow down, take full advantage of pausing to potentially reset or redirect, and to tune deeply into your inner world to process and release emotions that may be stuck, repressed, or ignored. The week kicks off on Wednesday with the end of the Mercury retrograde in Cancer that began on June 29th. This event alone has most likely been a deep emotional journey into the roots of feelings and family patterns. Important topics for pondering include identifying basic needs and determining if they are being met. Consider what’s been revealed and what has surfaced over the past few weeks. Saturn follows suit and begins another backward, retrograde journey through Aries on July 26th. The fire of the self has structure, the discovery of the source of more flames begins again. The sun reaches its annual opposition to purifying Pluto on July 27th. This event usually dredges up some soul-searching about identity and whether or not we’re being or becoming our truest selves, and if not, why? What transformation within needs to occur? The relationship we have with ourselves and with others will be triggered as the lovers of the sky, Mars and Venus, are locked into a square aspect all week. This particular square will seek resolution in how we can see things differently and welcome a new perspective to change patterns of idealism or perfection expectations in all relationships, all whilst also working on ourselves.

All aspects and energies grow throughout the week and culminate on July 29th with the Aquarius full moon (exact at 10:35 a.m. ET). Full moons are always a time for reflection, release, and emotional processing; however this full moon is extraordinary as it occurs cozied up to the still present Jupiter/Pluto opposition (sun and Jupiter in Leo opposite moon and Pluto in Aquarius). Jupiter is undergoing its own annual purification in the heart of the sun as the moon waxes to fullness, both illuminating that which Pluto prefers to keep hidden underground in the shadows. There’s gold to be discovered in this week, this full moon, and the personal and collective treasure hunt will require a great deal of self-awareness, heart-centered focus, and stillness to truly listen to the whispers of the soul. The moon in Aquarius opposes the sun in Leo with EXTRA eccentricity, as Pluto in Aquarius and Jupiter in Leo are still opposing each other during this full moon. Chiron’s balancing the seesaw with a loose square to the full moon. This one is filled to the brim with so much potential energy with the overarching theme to let your freak flag fly, be your most individuated self, and DON’T DIM TO FIT IN! • July 12th - A new Mercury cycle begins with the cazimi in Cancer.

• July 13th - Venus in early Virgo squares off with Uranus in early Gemini. Perhaps something unexpected comes up that requires addressing or release in a relationship. Venus will begin squaring off with Mars next; don’t ignore whatever comes up with the Uranus square off.

• July 14th - Cancer new moon (5:43 a.m. ET). The sun and the moon meetup in the moon’s domicile, almost at the same degree as the Mercury cazimi. This is ripe, fresh, new energy; craft your intentions with intuition and grace!

The holiday fireworks shows won’t be the only explosions in the skies this week! Sparks will also fly in the cosmos on July 4th as masterful Mars and unusual Uranus conjoin in the early degrees of Gemini. The last time Mars and Uranus united was in mid-July 2024 in the zodiac sign Taurus. Saturday’s meetup will be a much different vibe, and one that we haven’t experienced in over 80 years! Gemini is all about communication, the flow of thoughts, words, ideas, and staying curious about information. Expect the unexpected personally and collectively, with the potential for surprising, shocking, or strange news or new ideas. This meetup is especially intriguing with its connection to potent Pluto in the early degrees of Aquarius. DON’T DIM TO FIT IN

How are you dimming your light in order to fit in?

Don’t dim your light to accommodate someone else’s smallness. We are all born to shine big and bright. The Universe is expanding and you are part of the Universe, so expanding is part of your nature.

If someone makes you want to retract, notice, and slowly back away; they are not for you and you are not for them. Better yet, find it within yourself to expand and shine your light anyway. Flowers don’t open and close according to who is walking by. They open and show their beauty regardless.

If others don’t want to be around you, or you make them uncomfortable, it’s because you are shining light on the fact that they are dimming to fit in. By choosing to shine bright you may just inspire them to turn on their light too. Or not. Keep your light on anyway.

All relationships are essentially an energetic agreement. The moment one person decides to start rising up and allowing their light to shine, it changes the energetic agreement and can create some waves. That’s completely normal.

The relationships that are meant to last will adapt to the change in energy. Others won’t because they were likely born under the proviso of ‘I love you, as long as you don’t shine brighter than me.’ That’s OK, not all people are meant to be in your life forever. But the lessons they teach us can still live on.

WORK YOUR LIGHT INQUIRY

How are you dimming your light in order to fit in?

I chose this month’s oracle deck and card from Rebecca Campbell’s Work Your Light Oracle since we are now moving into the second half of the year. We remembered our light last month, and now it’s time to commit to working it! With the sun at the helm beginning on July 22nd, there’s no better time to shine than during Leo season, especially now that we have Jupiter in Leo’s support. We continue to nurture and go within through Mercury retrograde in Cancer and the second half of Cancer season, but now our cosmic cradle is more powerful as Jupiter picks up the handle that Venus left off with more staying-power. Learn more about the cradle pattern in the sky and June’s energies and messages in last month’s newsletter.

In June, we were guided to remember your light, to remember to be your light, and remember to boldly shine your light. Now, as we begin July, we’re ensuring that boldly shining lasts and continues on regardless of others. Does the sun ask for permission to shine? NOPE! As we shift from the moon’s season we offer gratitude to the lessons and information we learn when the light is reflected back to us, which is one of the moon’s greatest gifts. The moon will continue presiding over the current Mercury retrograde, the Mercury cazimi, and the Cancer new moon mid-month. I invite everyone to remain intentionally present in this reflective, reminiscent, receiving space for the first few weeks of July. Once Leo season begins, this month’s message will become more powerful, more potent, and louder as the cosmos roars.

Remember that our master teacher Chiron is now present in the early degrees of Taurus. As planets begin shifting into Leo, they will be squaring off with Chiron. Jupiter square Chiron is the energy we’re under as July begins, which hasn’t happened between these two signs in decades. Working your light and not dimming your light will be important lessons coming from Chiron’s garden lair. Pluto seeps into the energies later in the month as we build toward a Pluto/Jupiter opposition, which is especially influential during the Aquarius full moon; the full moon also opens up the second eclipse season of the year.

Without further ado, here are important dates for the month:

• July 1st - Jupiter already flaunting in Leo squares off with Chiron holding steady in Taurus. Not dimming one’s light requires awareness, groundedness, and a loyal, thoughtful approach.

• July 4th - Mars reaches Uranus’s odd position in early Gemini, trine Pluto in Aquarius. Information, ideas, and inspiration buzz from everywhere. Document, observe, enjoy the excitement, then purify, edit, and keep only what resonates.

• July 6th - The sun in Cancer squares off with Saturn in Aries. This will give us the challenge in discernment to process whatever flies off the handle on the 4th.

• July 7th - Neptune begins another backward tread through early Aries. We’ve experienced Neptune’s retrograde in Aries already. The fog of war review wherever we have early Aries in our charts arrives again.

• July 9th - Venus is done being dramatic and gets to work shifting into Virgo. I’ve witnessed Venus in Virgo as an alchemical goddess. This isn’t Venus’s happy place, yet with a trine to Chiron in Taurus, and a meetup with the south node of the moon, there will be magick and an alchemical, slow-burn release to experience. The exact conjunction with the south node is on the 11th.

• July 12th - A new Mercury cycle begins with the cazimi in Cancer.

• July 13th - Venus in early Virgo squares off with Uranus in early Gemini. Perhaps something unexpected comes up that requires addressing or release in a relationship. Venus will begin squaring off with Mars next; don’t ignore whatever comes up with the Uranus square off.

• July 14th - Cancer new moon (5:43 a.m. ET). The sun and the moon meetup in the moon’s domicile, almost at the same degree as the Mercury cazimi. This is ripe, fresh, new energy; craft your intentions with intuition and grace!

• July 17th - Look UP! Venus and the moon meetup after sunset. It’s not as dazzling as last month with Jupiter’s (and Mercury’s) absence, yet it’s still quite stunning.

• July 20th - Jupiter in early Leo reaches exact opposition to Pluto in Aquarius. It’s helpful to look back with this one. These two powerhouses climbed mountains together, meeting up 3 times in Capricorn in 2020. They squared off in mid-May 2023, and now they’re opposing each other, holding the cradle’s handles and balancing out light and shadow to hold sacred what’s inside. This is a potent part of the month and an overall configuration no one alive has ever experienced! Keep this month’s message pulsating and steady in your heart. This, and the full moon, will probably be the most important tests not to dim or shrink your light or yourself. Reflect on the timeline, remember what was happening in 2020 and 2023, and retrieve the precious gems hidden just for you in this transit.

• July 22nd - The sun is ready for its own terroir and blazes into Leo, squaring off with Chiron.

• July 23rd - Mercury retrograde in Cancer ends.

• July 26th - Saturn begins backtracking in Aries. As with Neptune, we’ve experienced Saturn retrograde in Aries already. Both will be fully contained with the Aries flames this time around.

• July 28/29th - The passionately building Mars and Venus square reaches exactness. The lover’s quarrel at play requires flexibility and imperfection for resolution.

• July 29th:

  • Jupiter and the sun sit together on the throne in Leo sharing the crown for their annual conjunction.

  • Aquarius full moon (10:35 a.m. ET). The moon in Aquarius opposes the sun in Leo with EXTRA eccentricity, as Pluto in Aquarius and Jupiter in Leo are still opposing each other during this full moon. Chiron’s balancing the seesaw with a loose square to the full moon. This one is filled to the brim with so much potential energy with the overarching theme to let your freak flag fly, be your most individuated self, and DON’T DIM TO FIT IN! There are prizes and flower crowns for persisting through this energy. This full moon is also the opener for this year’s second eclipse season.

The Yod featuring Neptune in Aries, Pluto in Aquarius, and the south node of the moon in Virgo focal point persists through July as well! Venus will join the south node of the moon as the focal point mid-July. I provided more in-depth information and details about Yods in April’s newsletter. The spirits of transformation and divine connection are still encouraging and supporting release of something through the Virgo part of the sky and ourselves, now with Venus’s attentiveness, devotion, and love.

Weekly Astrology Summary:

The first full moon after the solstice is incoming this week, along with several important planetary shifts that invite us to “stand still” like the sun just did, to be present, and to slow down to contemplate the path ahead as we approach the middle of the year. Numinous, mystical Neptune holds the cosmic mic with both challenging and supportive influence on the week’s events. Expect the energies to feel parts magical, mysterious, and ethereal. Extra solitude, rest, and quieting the mind may be required as the biennial occurrence of the sun squaring Neptune sets the tone on June 25th and then Mars shifts into a more slow-witted Gemini on June 28th. On June 29th, the moon’s day, the second Mercury retrograde of the year begins in the early afternoon and then the moon reaches fullness in Capricorn at 7:56 p.m. (ET) steadying us and holding the space for power in pause. Think back to mid-January when the moon was new in Capricorn and what may be reaching fruition now. One lovely way to be present and in the moment could be enjoying the moonrise!

The month closes out with gusto as jubilant Jupiter shifts into the zodiac sign Leo on June 30th. The largest planet’s presence in the sun-ruled sign of self, radiance, and heart-centered creativity is a big, magnetic energy that will grace us personally and collectively until July 2027; Jupiter spends roughly 1 year in each zodiac sign so themes from 12 years ago may begin to resurface. The cosmos will light up like the fireworks we can expect next weekend as July begins, which I’ll cover in next week’s edition! Weekly Astrology Summary:

The cosmos has more momentum in store for us this week. The most notable comes first with cathartic Chiron’s temporary gallop into the zodiac sign Taurus on June 19th. Chiron is one of the centaur asteroids most commonly known as the “wounded healer”, however Chiron’s breadth is way vaster and deeper. Chiron was a master teacher and master of all trades that paradoxically was unable to heal his own wound, hence the catch phrase. Chiron’s orbit around the sun, and our natal charts, takes approximately 50 years, and he’s been navigating the battleground of Aries since 2018. This brief trot in Taurus will be for a few months (until Sept. 17) so pay very close attention to themes in the form of lessons that begin to develop around values, self-worth, pleasure, slowing down, and the sensual experience of life. When it comes to Chiron, there will be lessons with motivation to earn straight As and an overall goal to achieve a Jedi-like mastery of whatever there is to learn in the Taurean area of life.

On June 20th, the building challenge to our collective soul evolution coming from rebel Uranus will peak. The right choice when it comes to Uranus is whatever encourages individuation and a sense of freedom. Aim for the path that opens your heart and feels deeply aligned and navigate away from patterns of control and perfection. The longest day/night of the year arrives on June 21st with the sun’s shift into comforting Cancer marking the summer/winter solstice. Weekly Astrology Summary:

This week we’ll be treated to a planetary shift, a new moon, cosmic cooperation, and more visual stunners! The week starts with the beginning of the pre-retrograde shadow period for the next Mercury retrograde. It’ll be contained within the zodiac sign Cancer, so expect mindset and communication themes around home, family, nostalgia, safety, security, and emotional maturity to begin showing up somewhere specific in your life. A sufficiently nourished Venus squares off with Chiron before rising out of the primordial, Cancerian waters for the fire, flair, and warmth of Leo on the 13th. The cosmic cooperation begins to unfold during the Gemini new moon on Sunday, June 14th (exact at 10:54 p.m. ET). Mercury reigns over the new moon from a now comfortable tread in Cancer, the moon’s sign. This creates a supportive dialogue between the two, adding extra buoyancy to the new moon’s energy. The now permanent co-presence of Uranus in Gemini electrifies and zaps the meetup of the sun and moon, making this a supercharged, powerful new moon with rare potential. Keep looking up at and after sunset as the waxing crescent moon joins Jupiter and Venus, dazzling the evening skies again as we head into mid-June.

Venus’s strides through the early Leo degrees complete a relatively rare cosmic configuration known as a cradle, which will culminate with Venus opposing potent Pluto by the end of the week on June 17. This will likely dredge up relationship dynamics featuring some kind of challenge or power play that motivates remaining true to and balanced within one’s heart. Although raw, the cradling effect comes from the outer, transpersonal planetary realm, which connects us more deeply to new consciousness wanting to be imparted and embodied within us personally and collectively. The energetic and visual gem of the week is the connection between voluptuous Venus and jubilant Jupiter in the maternal, instinctive zodiac sign Cancer on Tuesday the 9^th. This is the second time we’ll be graced with the two brightest planets coming together in this part of the sky; the last time was in mid-August 2025 in the early morning sky. Tuesday’s meetup will be in the early evening sky. Keep looking up as they grow closer and closer as the week progresses. It’s visually stunning to watch them!

As they physically merge, the blending of their energies enhances the attributes of benevolence, expansion, grace, beauty, and connection with undertones of feeling close to everything and everyone we hold most dear. This can go into extremes though, so be mindful of emotional regulation, moodiness, and lashing out in the face of feeling threatened or vulnerable. I am a light in the world.

There is a light within us all, and that light will never go out. It existed before we were in our body and will exist beyond our lifetime. It is unborn, therefore it can never die—it’s eternal, infinite. It’s who we really are.

That light has an opportunity to shine whenever it faces darkness. Darkness is not evil, it’s simply uncertainty. Whenever we are facing a moment of uncertainty, it’s an opportunity for our light to shine and our gifts to be shared.

The Universe is calling upon your light at this time. Don’t hide it or dim it, let it shine. You may have been holding back, feeling that there’s a specific time for you to reveal yourself fully and shine. That time is now. When you begin to express who you are, you align with a higher power, and that presence reminds you why you are here and what you need to do next.

In times of uncertainty, be the light that you have come to be!

VIBE OF THE DAY

“I remember why I am here!”

This month’s oracle card and message were a random draw for all of us from Kyle Gray’s Raise Your Vibration Oracle, which is the companion deck to his Raise Your Vibration book. I chose this deck for June because, if I could pick a word for June, it would be invitation. Our level of vibration all day, every day, is a choice. June’s astrology offers an invitation to choose and take action to rise up. We’re approaching the middle of the year and here in the northern hemisphere, we’ll experience the summer solstice this month, which is all about the light. As the outer planets begin to form a cradle pattern in the sky, we all are invited to cradle, nourish, and nurture our gifts and our purpose. Remember your light, remember to be your light, and remember to boldly shine your light.

What will you cradle and nurture this month that you wish to grow and carry forward into the second half of the year?

Here’s a hint: It has a lot to do with the new life that was seeded in April and guarded vigilantly in May!

There’s a sweetness to the first couple weeks of June as Venus and Jupiter come together once again in Cancer (the last time was mid-August 2025); this won’t happen in Cancer again until Jupiter returns to the sign in 12 years. Keep looking up after sunset as they will get closer and closer in the evening sky leading up to an exact conjunction on the 9th. It’s dazzling and breathtaking when our two brightest planets meet up and embrace!

Our master teacher Chiron is on the move this month, which is significant. The temporary gallop into Taurus beginning on the 19th will give us a preview of the themes we can expect in our lesson plans once the ingress becomes permanent next year. In Aries, Chiron taught us about our identity and sovereignty. In Taurus, we’ll be learning about holding steady and getting comfortable in our own skins and the value of self-worth. I think the shift from a Mars-ruled terroir to a Venusian one will bring a welcome, less wily and grounded way about the lessons. This will also be the beginning of the Chiron return for all of us born with Chiron in Taurus, which is also the sign Chiron occupied upon its discovery on 11/1/1977. I feel a special Becoming Chiron podcast episode downloading to me in honor of the beginning of this transit. Stay tuned!

All three personal planets with change signs this month and the second Mercury retrograde of the year is also upon us. The second half of June will bring some grittier energies, but they’re still invitations to choose growth, evolution, individuation, and embodiment of the light within.

Here are important dates for the month:

• June 1st - Mercury shifts into Cancer where it’ll tread until early August due to the incoming, second retrograde of the year. Expect all forms of communication and friendships to operate within a more emotional framework and context, with undertones of nurture and protection flavoring the experiences.

• June 3rd - Mercury in Cancer squares Neptune in Aries. Thought and communication may get fuzzy. Trust your gut and take a pause if necessary.

• June 9th:

  • Venus and Jupiter embrace in Cancer. This is so lovely energetically and visually. This is probably one of the best days of the month.

  • Mercury in Cancer squares Saturn in Aries later in the day. Accept the sweetness and the invitation to remain in the high vibration!

• June 12th - The Mercury pre-retrograde shadow period begins. Themes flavoring the Cancerian retrograde will begin to develop.

• June 13th - Venus squares off with Chiron, then shifts into Leo leaving the primordial waters for fire and flair, and to start constructing the aforementioned cradle.

• June 20th - Uranus in early Gemini squares the lunar nodes in early Virgo/Pisces. Individuation is of the utmost importance when facing decisions between control and surrender.

• June 21st - The sun’s ready for a little self-care and a bath dipping into Cancer. Celebrate the solstice wherever you are!

• June 25th - The sun in Cancer squares Neptune in Aries. This biennial event is usually flavored by something that motivates standing one’s ground in the face of confusion. It can also be tiring, so rest extra if needed.

• June 28th - Mars spots Uranus, leaves the fields of roses behind, and chases the electrified winds into Gemini.

• June 29th:

  • Mercury retrograde in Cancer begins (6/29 - 7/23). Accept the invitation from the messenger to slow down, steep in the waters, and work on your emotional intelligence.

  • Capricorn full moon (7:56 p.m. ET). Loosely squaring Neptune, the moon’s fullness motivates us to take initiative to dig more deeply into our untapped inner magick.

• June 30th - Jupiter grabs a big towel, shakes off, and secures itself in Leo where it’ll remain until the end of July 2027. The first aspect it makes is a square off with Chiron. Remember this month’s oracle message! You’re a light in the world and deserve to shine with confidence despite any self-doubts or uncertainty.

The cosmic culmination this week is May’s blue moon! A blue moon occurs when there are two full moons in the same calendar month. May kicked off with the Scorpio full moon on the 1^st and closes out with the Sagittarius full moon on the 31^st (reaching fullness at 4:45 a.m.). The blue moon status isn’t the only rarity characterizing this Sagittarius full moon. Although there are challenging aspects it’ll make with other points in the cosmos, we’ve been steeped in these soul lesson challenges calling our attention for almost 18 months, so this time expect crossing that threshold to come almost naturally, or with greater ease. Jupiter holds the cosmic mic at this time and is enthusiastically cheering on all things spiritual growth and ensuring that a new course of action is chosen to expand the collective consciousness. Evolution is the path forward, and release of old patterns and confining belief systems are being encouraged. The full moon also receives energetic support from steadfast Saturn and numinous Neptune, boosting the efforts involved in fully achieving the goals set forth by the cosmic configurations. Reflect back to last year’s winter solstice to recognize what’s manifesting and coming to fruition now. It’s a leap of faith showing results culmination; with devotion and belief, dreams really can come true!

We’ve reached the cosmic sweet spot of the month! This week of May features an abundance of shifts, gorgeous energies, and beautiful sky gazing opportunities. The week kicks off with the mid-point of the new Mercury cycle that began on March 7th during the Pisces retrograde. Water and earth merge to form and begin maturing into something more fertile. Consider an idea or new theme that began in mid-March that’s now gaining traction and materializing. The 16th graces us with a pleasant and supercharged Taurus new moon (4:01 p.m. ET) that receives an extra boost of fuel and motivation as almost simultaneously, Mars meets up with Chiron for the final time in Aries for decades. This is the last chance to master with precision channeling life force into inspired action. The next event occurs on the 17th as Mercury sets eyes on the prize zipping into home turf Gemini, having weird, electrifying dialogue with Uranus for the first time in decades. The 18th is a very lovely, jewel of a day supportive of keeping one’s mind stimulated and one’s heart aligned with words and actions. Venus and Mars are cooperative energetically and change zodiac signs within hours of each other. Mars shifts into Taurus first and then Venus shifts into Cancer carrying forward a very sweet, sensual, protective bond. Remember to look up at and after sunset as Venus and the waxing crescent moon connect with Jupiter also nearby.
