There’s a sentence I hear constantly in investing circles:

“I don’t try to time the market. I’m a long-term investor.”

It’s usually said with a hint of pride, as if not watching charts made you classier…

“Traders watch these lines. Investors look at the actual business.”

One camp deals in price, the other in value. Watching charts is supposedly just glorified guessing, reading tea leaves.

For a year and a half now, on this Substack, I’ve unpacked why technical analysis isn’t only a trader’s tool. I’ve talked about better entries, capital efficiency, timing, risk, psychology.

All of that is true. But it leaves the skeptic one comfortable exit.

“I don’t need that edge. I have time. I have a long horizon...”

Except using technical analysis was never just about a small bonus edge.

The question starts earlier than that:

👉 Every time you press buy, you make a timing decision. Full stop.

You can’t opt out of timing. If you hit “Buy” today at 5:32 PM, you just made a timing call. You didn’t choose whether to time the market. You only chose not to analyze your own timing.

💡 You’re never just buying a company. You’re buying a company and a moment, whether you want to or not.

First, one honest exception

This doesn’t apply to someone who puts a fixed amount into a broad index fund every month, regardless of price, news, or mood. Their system is already rule-based. They don’t re-pick a company, an entry date, or “is now good” every month.

And here’s the important nuance: the exception isn’t about how long their horizon is. It’s about the fact that they make no discretionary decisions at all. If your plan is to buy a broad index every month for 20 or 30 years, your system doesn’t need a fresh timing call for every purchase. The rule is already set.

👉 This piece is for the discretionary single-stock investor. The person who decides for themselves whether to buy Nvidia, Microsoft, Novo Nordisk, or some beaten-down small-cap today. They choose the company, the price, the entry, the position size.

The moment you actively pick stock A over stock B, decide your position size, and choose your entry date, you’ve stepped outside the automatic rule.

You’re making active choices. That’s just a fact.

And once you do, you no longer get to borrow the passive investor’s excuse that timing doesn’t apply to you.

Technical analysis isn’t an investing style

This is where most people make a fundamental mistake.

Trading and investing differ in how you act in the market, how long your horizon is, and what you want out of a price move. Fundamental and technical analysis differ in something else entirely: what kind of information you use to make the decision.

One describes your behavior. The other describes your tools. They’re two separate axes, not one and the same:

👉 A trader has many moves, strategies, and approaches inside price action. They might get an idea from a chart, an earnings report, news, or a macro number, but their entry, profit, loss, and exit all ultimately play out in price. Price is simply unavoidable for them.

👉 An investor has two full toolboxes: fundamental and technical analysis. So the question is simple: why would they voluntarily leave one of them unused?

A long-term investor looking at a chart doesn’t suddenly become a trader. In the same way, a trader with a ten-year horizon doesn’t become an investor just because they glanced at a quarterly report before a trade.

(Though I do know exactly how traders sometimes accidentally become investors. 🙂)

Joking aside, the point isn’t whether you use price, it’s how deliberately you use it. A 20% rule with no context only tells you price has dropped, not whether that drop is a normal pullback, ongoing weakness, or already-fading selling pressure. Reading it with context gets you to the same decision, just a better-founded one.

💡 How long you hold a stock decides whether you’re acting as a trader or an investor. It does not decide what information you’re allowed to use before you buy or sell.

You’re timing the market either way

Say you’ve done solid fundamental work. Revenue is growing, margins are improving, the balance sheet is clean, and the long-term market looks attractive. Great. But at some point, you still have to hit “buy.”

That purchase happens on a specific day, at a specific price. Not abstractly “sometime over the next ten years,” but today, at a concrete number.

👉 The entry point doesn’t disappear just because you refuse to analyze it, the same way your car’s speed doesn’t disappear because you taped over the speedometer. You just stop seeing it.

I need to be precise here: a fundamental investor doesn’t necessarily buy completely blind, they might check valuation and recent results. But in my view, they’re still buying with incomplete information if they deliberately ignore what price itself is telling them about the moment.

• Is the stock euphoric after a vertical run-up?

• Is it still stuck in a long-term downtrend?

• Has selling pressure eased?

• Have buyers started reclaiming key levels?

These aren’t only a trader’s questions. They’re questions for anyone who wants to put capital into this stock right now.

💡 Avoiding timing isn’t neutrality. It’s making a timing decision with incomplete information.

“Why now?” doesn’t mean “I know it goes up tomorrow”

This is where most of the misunderstanding happens.

When I say a chart helps answer “why now,” that doesn’t mean I know what a stock does tomorrow or next month. I don’t. Nobody does. Technical analysis isn’t a crystal ball. To me, it’s a framework for deciding inside uncertainty.

👉 I’m not looking for certainty. I’m looking for conditions.

• Is a multi-year downtrend still fully intact, or has price reached a level I’ve flagged as interesting?

• Is the stock still printing lower highs and lower lows, or has the first higher low, or higher high shown up?

• Does every rally into new highs get sold off, or has a key level finally been reclaimed?

I use 6–8 simple criteria to answer these questions, criteria that help me spot the moments where bigger volatility and movement tend to show up.

None of these signals guarantee a rally. They simply tell me the situation isn’t quite the same as it was three, six, or ten months ago. The question technical analysis answers isn’t “will price definitely go up now,” it’s “are conditions good enough right now to justify considering putting capital to work?”

⚠️ Honestly: I never know exactly when the market wakes up. Nobody does, and anyone who claims otherwise is selling you something. What I can do is watch whether the market starts showing signs of waking up, or continuing to grow, in the zones I’ve already flagged. That gap, between knowing and watching, is the entire point of technical analysis for an investor.

👉 And here’s a common misconception worth correcting immediately: technical analysis isn’t always about buying cheaper. If you wait for confirmation before buying, you often pay more than someone who bought blind, near the bottom. But a higher price doesn’t automatically mean a worse buy.

The goal isn’t a lower price. The goal is a better structure. A 10–15% higher price after a broken downtrend and fading selling pressure can be a better buy than a much lower price in the middle of an ongoing collapse with no zone at all, because your risk is more clearly defined and easier to read.

When “why now” goes unanswered

Say you find a great company and buy it after a big rally, right in the middle of euphoria. Price cools off over the next six months, builds a long base, and only comes back to your entry level a year or two later.

On the surface, nothing happened. The stock is back where you bought it, and the long-term thesis might be perfectly intact. But you’re not in the same place anymore. A year, two years, of your investing time is gone. That position’s price return was zero, and whatever else you could’ve done with that capital in the meantime is gone too.

💡 Price came back. Time didn’t. You might be right about the company and still be years too early on the market.

This gets underrated constantly in long-term investing. People say that if the company is good and the horizon is long enough, the entry point barely matters. A long horizon doesn’t erase that lost time, it just hides it better in the statistics than a shorter horizon would. We don’t have unlimited years to invest. Money can be earned back. “Lost” years never get added back to the portfolio’s timeline.

💡 Technical analysis doesn’t guarantee a perfect entry. But it can cut out a completely avoidable stretch of dead time.

A bad entry doesn’t just hurt returns

A wrong entry doesn’t turn a good company into a bad one. But it can turn a good investment into a bad experience.

This is where psychology comes in.

Say you buy on a strong fundamental thesis, and a few months later you’re staring at -30% on your screen. Revenue is still growing, margins are holding, nothing important has changed in the long-term story. But something has changed in your head.

There’s a small crack somewhere. All you’ve seen in this position is red, your earlier confidence starts quietly fading, and the same old questions start playing on repeat:

• Did I actually understand this company correctly?

• Does the market know something I don’t?

• Should I cut the position before it gets worse?

The thesis might still be correct, but the conviction behind it has already cracked. You start doubting a correct fundamental thesis for the wrong reason: because price is falling. You might sell right when most of the drop has already happened and price no longer assumes everything has to go perfectly, meaning the downside risk is actually much smaller than it was at your original entry.

The most painful scenario isn’t always the thesis being wrong. Sometimes the thesis turns out right, the company recovers, and price eventually makes the move. You just aren’t in the position anymore by then, because the drawdown in between broke your conviction before the story had time to play out.

💡 That’s why a good entry doesn’t only matter for returns. It can also help you actually hold onto a good thesis long enough for it to work.

A good decision can still end badly

Let’s be honest here.

A deliberately chosen, technically strong entry can still fail after the fact, and a randomly chosen entry date can land exactly at the bottom.

That doesn’t prove the random buy was the better decision. In poker, pocket aces can still lose to seven-two. That doesn’t make seven-two a better starting hand. One outcome alone says nothing about the quality of the decision process.

If you buy after a break of a long-term resistance level, the stock can still fall right back down. But your decision had structure. You had a reason to enter, you’d thought through the risk beforehand, and you can later assess whether your logic held up or not.

👉 A random buy doesn’t give you that feedback loop. Full stop.

If your reason for buying was simply “the company seemed good and I had spare cash today,” there’s not much left to analyze afterward.

💡 A deliberate decision can fail. A random decision can succeed. One outcome never proves the quality of a method.

How do I actually know this method helps investors?

Not by gut feeling, and not from one pretty example. One winning trade after a breakout proves no more than one winning random buy disproves. A method has to be judged across many decisions, not one.

I’ve actually done exactly that, more than once. I’ve done it for a year and a half straight, here on Substack, every week, in every post. You’ve seen both failed calls and ones that worked out, because I’ve never hidden either. The archive is public, and I haven’t deleted anything.

✍️ But two of my largest-sample articles, where I broke this methodology down piece by piece, make that edge come through most clearly.

From the Nasdaq 100 list, 1.5 years ago, I picked 24 ideas using technical criteria. Every time one reached its flagged zone and the trade went active, I simultaneously bought the same dollar amount of QQQ, the index those same stocks belong to. I ran the same test on the S&P 500 with 83 ideas, 66 of which reached their zone. Both results are measured from the same starting line, with the same capital and the same timeframe, not cherry-picked afterward.

As of today:

• The S&P 500 screen’s stocks are up 54%, versus 34% for the index over the same period.

• The Nasdaq 100 screen’s stocks are up 100%, versus 55% for the index.

Close to double the index’s return in both cases, and beaten with its own components, since the sample consisted of the exact same companies that make up the index.

I’m not claiming this repeats every year, or that it’s a guarantee. The market never guarantees anything. Unfortunately. But it shows that simple criteria and reading price action, where the most important input is simply price itself, produced a clear, measurable edge across two separate samples, on two different indices. That’s no longer a feeling. It’s two independent tests pointing to the same conclusion.

👉 This filter has a cost too. Some ideas never reached their zone, and some ran without me. I'm not claiming technical analysis removes mistakes. It doesn't. What this framework gives me is a way to define mistakes, review them, and measure the process behind them.

💡 What I am claiming is that it makes mistakes visible, decisions repeatable, and results, as both tests show, genuinely measurable.

The most common objections

“You can’t time the market.”
True, nobody consistently nails the exact top or bottom. But that doesn’t mean every entry point is equally good. A vertical run-up into euphoria and a break of a multi-year resistance level are not the same risk.

“I have a long enough investment horizon.”
A long horizon helps you survive mistakes, but it doesn’t turn a bad entry into a good one. It just gives a bad entry more time to recover, on the back of capital that sat idle in the meantime. A long horizon is easy to plan for when you’re in the green. In the red, even ten years can suddenly feel like two very long weeks.

“But if I wait, I might miss the rally.”
Yes, that’s the cost of a technical filter. No approach gives you every opportunity, the lowest price, and minimal risk all at once, that package doesn’t exist. My goal isn’t to catch every rally. My goal is to pick situations where price no longer assumes everything has to go perfectly, and where the downside is already reasonably contained.

The much harder situation is locking up capital too early, watching price drop for months, and calling that patience, when really there was never a plan at the entry point to begin with.

“A chart doesn’t tell me what a company is worth.”
Correct, and it isn’t supposed to. You already know a chart answers “when,” not “if.” If fundamentals say a company is overvalued, a technical breakout doesn’t turn that into a good buy, it just turns it into a well-timed expensive one.

“A chart only looks backward.”
So does most of an annual report. The question isn’t whether the information comes from the past, it’s whether it helps you make better conditional decisions inside future uncertainty.

Remember these points

• Every purchase is a timing decision. The question isn’t whether you time the market, it’s how informed that timing is.

• Technical analysis is an information source, not an identity. It doesn’t make you a day trader, any more than glancing at a tachometer makes you a race driver.

• Fundamentals pick the train, the chart picks the moment. Fundamental analysis helps you decide what to own. Technical analysis helps answer why you’re starting to own it today, at 5:32 PM, and not some other day.

• “Why now” doesn’t mean predicting the future. It means conditions have shifted compared to before, conditions where risk is more clearly bounded and the potential return justifies taking it.

• A long horizon doesn’t fix a bad entry. It just gives a bad entry more time to recover, at the cost of your money and your lost years.

• The tool doesn’t decide your goal. A trader uses a chart because they have to.

💡 An investor should use a chart not to become a trader, but to become a more aware, better investor.

You know the plan: “Just a quick scan of a few charts.” But when the market keeps throwing high-probability zones in your face, the menu naturally expands. I started with ten ideas, cut it down from fifteen, and we landed on a solid 12.

For me, graph reading is never about predicting the future. It is purely about risk management and capital efficiency. The goal is simple:

• Make market movements measurable.

• Identify the exact zone where risk/reward is in your favor.

• Know precisely where the thesis fails so you can cut the risk without emotion.

  Markets don't move randomly. I analyze charts through the lens of investor psychology to find the spots where the odds are stacked in your favor.

The Menu at a Glance

Today’s selection is intentionally diverse, catering to both aggressive momentum seekers and patient cash-flow investors.

1. The Public Section (4 Stocks) We start with the heavy hitters: the shovel-seller of the AI gold rush (NVIDIA), the “Apple of agriculture” (Deere & Company), a highly speculative quantum play (Rigetti), and a rock-solid consumer staple (PepsiCo).

2. The Premium Section (8 Stocks) Then we shift into high gear with deeper, specialized setups: space-based cellular infrastructure, European luxury heritage, social media data plays, AI data centers, and dependable Dividend Kings spanning from defense to auto parts.

Grab a coffee, let’s look at the lines, and lay out the plan.

1. NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA)

NVIDIA is the central name of the AI revolution. It is no longer just a chip company, but the infrastructure builder for a major part of future computing power. If AI is a gold rush, NVIDIA is selling the shovels, the excavators, and sometimes it feels like half the mine itself. In the latest quarter, the company reported a record revenue of $81.6 billion, up 85% year-over-year.

NVIDIA Technical View

NVDA has made several appearances on this channel before. The channel has been around for quite a while, so we’ve had the chance to mention it at $100, on the breakout at $150, say “hold your horses” before the stock spent about six months moving sideways at $200, and now step on the gas again as the stock cleared $200.

In any case, today the stock looks a bit like a... moving train to me. If I were already on board, great, technically nothing is broken, and adding to the position would definitely be on the table.

If I didn’t own this stock, I would still want to manage my capital as efficiently as possible. Sure, as a long-term investor, buying in today wouldn’t be a major technical mistake since the breakout is there and you don’t need to chase every single penny. But hey, it wouldn’t be me if I didn’t wait for it to retrace back into the $185–$210 zone just to play the penny-pincher a little bit. And I’m perfectly fine if it never gets there.

If there aren’t too many patient waiters out there, today’s prices will do, but the main point for me is that the sideways consolidation is over and the stock now has open water to move.

👉 Watch: For me, the interesting zone is $185–$210; below $185, the technical picture would start to deteriorate.

2. Deere & Company (DE)

Deere is the Apple of agriculture. That green tractor isn’t just a tractor, it’s an entire ecosystem: machines, software, maintenance, spare parts, and deep-rooted habit. Once a farmer builds their entire workflow around Deere, it’s almost easier for them to change wives than to change brands.

In the last quarter, Deere’s revenue and total sales grew by 5% to $13.37 billion, with a quarterly net income of $1.77 billion. It is highly sensitive to the agricultural cycle and interest rates—when farmers hit hard times, new tractors just sit in the showroom.

Deere & Company Technical View

Deere is a technically solid. It has pulled back about 20% from its peaks, correcting into price levels that should provide solid support.

From a trade setup perspective, I view this as a breakout play that is currently undergoing a retest. In other words, the previous peaks (a zone where the stock was stuck for over a year) should now switch from resistance to support. Additionally, the round number at $500 provides added psychological support.

This is also a great example of DCA (Dollar-Cost Averaging). For me, a typical stock needs to drop about 20–30% before I even consider adding to a position. In Deere’s case, this logic aligns perfectly with a strong price level that could offer technical backing to the DCA approach, right around the $400 region.

Adding to a position is an active decision.
And it needs to be technically sound so capital can be deployed as efficiently as possible. “Buying just because the price is lower than my first purchase” has never been a good enough reason for me. Averaging down must be justified by the chart.

If a stock has dropped only 5%, that’s usually not a “good enough discount” for me. If it actually starts plunging from there, I could quickly find myself caught halfway to the bottom with too heavy a load.

👉 Watch: For me, the key area is around $500; from a DCA perspective, the $400 region becomes particularly interesting. Plan is set. I know what to do in specific scenarios, and I’ll keep an eye on the fundamentals.

3. Rigetti Computing (RGTI)

Rigetti represents the more speculative end of quantum computing. The narrative is massive: technology that could one day solve problems that make today’s computing power look painfully clumsy. However, the numbers show that commercial maturity is still a long way off. Q1 2026 revenue was just $4.4 million, while the operating loss stood at $26.0 million.

This is the most questionable name on the entire list. The chart can make beautiful moves, but the fundamentals scream: “Patience, we are still working on it.”

Rigetti Computing Technical View

Rigetti is one of two quantum stocks getting a technical green light in today’s article. The other is a bit more established, but there is absolutely nothing technically wrong with Rigetti’s breakout last week either.

A strong price level has been cleared. This gray zone is crucial for me because it has repeatedly acted as both resistance and support. Furthermore, breaking through this area has required sheer force—meaning massive volume (the yellow circles).

To me, the stock closed a bit extended last week. Therefore, I would rather wait for that classic post-breakout retest to get my hands on this riskier asset from a technically optimal entry point.

👉 Watch: I’d be interested in a slight pullback and a retest into the $18.5–$24 zone.

Retest zones always serve a specific purpose for me. This box highlights the area where the breakout would still maintain its momentum.

The top of the box isn’t as critical, as that depends on an individual’s patience and how deep of a pullback they are willing to sit through. The bottom of the box, however, is far more vital: it marks the line where things start turning sour for me.

A breakout trade is fundamentally a momentum trade. If the price sinks too deep back into the range, the momentum dies. That is why the lower boundary of these boxes plays such an important role in my execution.

4. PepsiCo, Inc. (PEP)

PepsiCo is a classic consumer staple business: beverages, snacks, global brands, and daily consumption. It’s not the sexiest story on the block, but cash flow doesn’t always need to be a laser light show. People might skip buying a new car, but they will still buy chips and soda—both during an economic boom and a deep recession. Q1 2026 net revenue grew 8.5% and organic revenue was up 2.6%, showing the business keeps grinding forward even if the growth isn’t explosive start-up style.

PepsiCo Technical View

Sometimes charts end up covered in lines drawn from every direction. But for me, every single line must have a clear and logical meaning for the next potential move. In PEP’s case, these lines on the chart are highly significant.

• The White Trendline: PepsiCo has maintained a beautiful, long-term uptrend basically from the very beginning, stretching back over 50 years. This trendline helped map out a zone to watch back in the spring of 2025. The zone and the trendline held perfectly, halted the correction, and buyers pushed the price roughly 35% higher.

• The Blue Downtrendline: PEP hit its all-time high in May 2023, which kicked off what is arguably one of its longest corrections in over 20 years. This process formed a downtrend that could be mapped out with a clear line, making the decline measurable. Measurable in the sense that I can see when the downtrend is still intact and when it starts cracking.

I got that signal this February: the line has started to crack. That 35% rally forcefully broke the stock out of its 2–3 year downtrend framework. Time will tell if it’s completely out in the clear, but the setup looks stronger than before.

In short: this Dividend King (a company that has hiked its dividend for 50+ consecutive years) might now offer a bit of capital appreciation alongside those dividends.

Technically, the setup is clean, and today’s price levels are absolutely worth a look. We also have a strong horizontal level cleared by that 35%+ rally, coupled with the $150 mid-round psychological number.

👉 Watch: As a mid- to long-term investor, I see no major technical flaw in looking at PEP around the $150 mark.

Hello!

The S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 have broken into new highs, strongly enough that we cannot simply ignore it, and we don’t.

As I mentioned on Äripäev Radio’s Monday morning program:

“When an index has moved into new price territory… it often does not look back for a while.”

In simple terms, sellers are stepping aside, and buyers are taking control. Easy, right?!

But a breakout does not mean we buy everything that moves.
- A green candle is not a strategy.
- FOMO is not analysis.
- And “maybe it goes even higher” is not a plan.

👉 That is why, in today’s post, I am only looking at stocks where the breakout has clear technical logic behind it: a broken level, buyer pressure, and room toward the next important zone.

How This List Came Together

This time, I ran a light filter across the Euro Stoxx 600, S&P 500, and Nasdaq 100.

Nearly 1,000 stocks scanned.
44 made the first cut.
16 made it into today’s article.

What Did the Scan Reveal?

Here is the key observation.

The strength was not randomly scattered across the market. A large part of the fresh breakout activity clustered around one bigger story: AI, electrification, and data center infrastructure.

But not just Nvidia. Not just GPUs. Not just one hot ticker.

👉 The whole damn chain started moving again at the same time!

Electricity. Power management. Data traffic. Cloud. GPUs. Memory. Packaging. Manufacturing equipment. Server infrastructure. Architecture.

🔌 Electrification and Data Center Infrastructure

Let’s start where AI actually begins, and it is not Nvidia.

Before AI can run, the physical layer must be in place: electricity, data centers, cables, grids, power management, and connections. When data center construction accelerates, demand for that entire layer accelerates with it.

And that is exactly where we begin today…

1. Nexans SA (EPA: NEX)

Nexans is a French cable and electrification company sitting in a very logical part of the value chain: energy grids, data center cables, and the modernization of electrical infrastructure. Simple idea: electricity does not move without cables.

🔍 Fundamental Note

Nexans’ April rally was not driven only by the broad “AI needs electricity” narrative. At the end of April, several confirmations arrived at once:
- organic growth in electrification reached 4.9%,
- the Power Transmission backlog remained strong at €7.9 billion,
- and the company announced the acquisition of Republic Wire in the U.S., strengthening its position in grid and data center infrastructure.

Management also confirmed its 2026 guidance, easing earlier market concerns about weaker cash flow. In other words, the move was not just story-driven. April brought real fundamental confirmation.

📈 Technical Picture

The €130 area had been clear resistance for almost two years. Buyers tried to break through it several times, but sellers kept showing up and pushing the price back down.

In April, that finally changed.

The stock broke through the area, and for now, the breakout looks clean and clear.

👉 My technical plan

Technically, Nexans is ready, but ideally, I would like to see a small retest, a pullback into the €123–€145 area. The picture is strong, but a patient entry would be cleaner.

2. Eaton Corporation (NYSE: ETN)

If Nexans helps electricity move, Eaton helps control, distribute, and protect it. Switches, power management systems, protection solutions, and other electrical infrastructure. A data center does not just need power. It needs reliable and controlled power.

🔍 Fundamental Note

Recent quarters have shown clear 10%+ growth, ROIC has climbed toward 15%, and cash flow is strong. The especially interesting part: U.S. data center orders grew by roughly 200% year over year. So this is no longer just a “potential” story. It is already visible in orders.

⚠️ Q1 2026 results come out on May 5, so there is near-term earnings risk.

📈 Technical Picture

Here, too, we have a strong price level that has kept the stock stuck for roughly a year and a half. Buyers have tested the area several times, but so far, they have not delivered the final breakout.

Until now.

What does a monthly close give us?
It lowers fakeout risk. It does not eliminate it. Price can still break higher and then crawl back into its cave, but a monthly close above the level makes the signal more meaningful.

👉 My technical plan

Technically, Eaton is ready.

The April monthly close is confirmed, and probably a mild retest would be great.

3. Arista Networks (NASDAQ: ANET)

Arista is one of the key names in AI data center networking infrastructure. GPUs alone do not make an AI cluster work. They need to communicate with each other at extremely high speed. Arista builds the high-speed switches and networking solutions that act as the data center’s “nervous system.”

🔍 Fundamental Note

Arista’s numbers are very strong: revenue grew nearly 29% in the latest quarter, operating margin remains above 40%, and ROIC is above 31%. ROIC shows how efficiently a company turns capital into profit. Above 30% is already a very strong quality signal.

The balance sheet is also practically debt-free, and free cash flow is growing. That gives the breakout a much stronger fundamental base.

📈 Technical Picture

Arista has reached an all-time high and has also received confirmation on the weekly chart. That suggests buyers did not just push the price up for one quick move. The strength has held.

What makes the setup even more interesting is that the previous breakout level and the mid-round number of $150 line up nicely. These half-round levels often work as psychological checkpoints in U.S. stocks. Not as strongly as $100 or $200, but strongly enough to watch and respect.

👉 My technical plan

Arista is technically ready, but after such a strong move, I would not want to chase it too high.

The ideal setup would be a retest near the $150 area.

Hello, gourmands of the market!

Space has become an increasingly visible part of the investing world lately. One week the conversation is about satellites, the next about launch companies, communications, defense, or orbital infrastructure. Yet for many investors, the full picture still feels blurry.

That is exactly why I wanted to break this topic down properly.

• What is actually happening up there?

• How does it make money?

• And which companies are the most interesting ways to invest in it today?

This article is my attempt to make that picture clearer and map the companies building it.

A vision of space built around protecting Earth

Jeff Bezos has described his long-term vision as a future in which millions of people live and work in space for the benefit of Earth.

“There is no Plan B for Earth. We have to move heavy industry and data centers to the Moon in order to protect this planet.”

For years, he has argued that heavy industry does not need to remain on Earth forever. Over time, parts of it could move into orbit and eventually to the Moon, where energy and physical space are far less constrained, leaving Earth more for living than for polluting.

Today, that still sounds enormous. But so did the idea that a phone would become the main tool people use for both work and communication. So did the idea that people would buy everyday goods online, store critical company data somewhere in “the cloud,” or drive cars without a traditional engine.

So what is actually happening up there?

To understand how space really makes money, you have to stop looking only at rocket launches and start looking at what is actually being delivered into orbit.

If the rocket is the taxi, the bigger business is the passenger in the back seat.

That passenger is the satellite.

A satellite is essentially a high-tech toolbox orbiting Earth. These systems act as our digital eyes, ears, and communication links.

• Some observe the Earth, helping with intelligence, agriculture, and supply chain monitoring.

• Some relay communications, bringing internet access, mobile coverage, and connectivity to places where ground-based infrastructure cannot reach.

• Some help us navigate, allowing cars, ships, and aircraft to know exactly where they are.

• Some even make in-flight Wi-Fi possible, something ordinary people already experience very directly today.

According to recent data, there are now more than 15,000 active satellites in Earth’s orbit. If you also count inactive devices and other objects still circling the planet, the total rises above 18,000.

A remarkable share of that growth comes from a single company. By March 2026, SpaceX, whose eventual IPO the market continues to watch closely, had launched more than 10,000 Starlink satellites into orbit. In other words, roughly two-thirds of all working satellites in the world now belong to Elon Musk’s ecosystem.

Why now?

This is not happening by accident. In 2026, the space economy is being pushed forward by three powerful forces that have made orbit both more accessible and more necessary.

1. The ticket to orbit got dramatically cheaper

At the center of it all is cost.

According to NASA-linked analysis, launch costs to low Earth orbit once reached extraordinarily high levels. At the peak of the early space age, the inflation-adjusted cost could approach $1 million per kilogram, and even during the Space Shuttle era, estimates were still around $60,000 to $100,000 per kilogram.

Today, the picture looks completely different. Thanks to technological progress and reusable rockets, we are now talking about launch costs closer to $1,500 to $3,000 per kilogram.

In practical terms, that means roughly a 98% decline in the cost of getting mass into orbit. And when the ticket price drops that sharply, new services and business models start to emerge almost on their own.

2. Space is no longer optional in a geopolitical sense

Satellites now sit at the heart of navigation, intelligence, surveillance, and military coordination.

The more those data layers converge, the less space looks like a distant science project and the more it starts to resemble a national nervous system.

Whoever controls information in orbit is very often one step ahead of those who rely only on ground-based infrastructure.

3. The real money is no longer at the launchpad, but in orbit

The real turning point in the space economy is no longer just that rockets can launch more cheaply.

The turning point is that once the launch is over, infrastructure begins operating in orbit, which creates real economic value down here on Earth.

Satellites are no longer just technical achievements. They sell connectivity, provide intelligence, monitor supply chains, support navigation, and help people make decisions with real financial consequences.

In the past, the story often ended with the launch.

Now, the real business begins after it. That is what makes the sector far more interesting for investors.

And this is also where old science fiction slowly starts turning into reality…

Science fiction becoming a little less fictional: Artemis II

This was the first crewed test flight of NASA’s Artemis program, sending four astronauts on a mission around the Moon and safely back to Earth.

The mission launched on April 1, 2026, and concluded successfully on April 10, when Orion splashed down under parachutes in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego. It was the first time since the Apollo era that humans had traveled toward the Moon and returned safely.

A crewed lunar mission does not mean someone is opening a shopping mall on the Moon tomorrow.

But it does mean that the Moon is no longer only part of the past. It is becoming part of the future again. That does not create a new economy overnight, but it does shift the boundary between what once felt impossible and what is now slowly becoming the next generation of logistics, technology, and infrastructure.

And markets tend to love exactly these kinds of moments, when old science fiction becomes just a little less fictional than it was yesterday.

How the space economy actually works in layers

A lot of people look at this space the wrong way. They go searching for “a space stock” as if it were one abstract, high-risk lottery ticket.

But that is not really what this is.

Space is a supply chain.

Just like in a gold rush, the money did not go only to the gold miner. It also went to the people selling shovels, hauling goods, building roads, and charging tolls at the bridge. The same logic applies here.

If you want to understand where capital is really flowing, it helps to break the chain into six pillars:

• Transport (Launch): the taxi to space. Essential, but only the beginning.

• Infrastructure (Hardware): satellites, sensors, panels, and systems that do the real work in orbit.

• Connectivity: the layer where space starts generating real revenue on Earth.

• Intelligence: eyes in the sky producing critical information.

• Lunar logistics: the next step after orbit — transport, capability, and infrastructure aimed toward the Moon.

• The decision layer: software that turns raw data into usable decisions.

Of course, that framework only becomes useful once you connect it to real companies.

And logically, the story starts with the first link in the chain. Before anyone can sell connectivity from orbit, monetize imagery, or turn space-based data into cash flow, someone first has to get the payload up there.

That is where my version of the space supply chain begins.

I highlight 9 different stocks across six separate links in that chain. I selected these names based on how well they fit the theme, but that alone is never enough. The technical picture also has to give me a real plan: how to enter, where to enter, and why.

1. Who gets everything up there?

Rocket Lab (RKLB)

Rocket Lab is the public-market answer to Elon Musk.

If SpaceX is a giant cargo ship, Rocket Lab is more like a precision courier. It is smaller, more flexible, and often more exact. It does not just take your package “somewhere up there.” It aims to place it in the exact orbital position you need.

Rocket Lab is one of the very few listed space companies that has managed to make it through the hardest stage in the sector, the one where most launch firms fail.

At this point, Rocket Lab is no longer an experimental startup. It is becoming a more mature end-to-end space company. The business is no longer just about launches. It is also building satellites, components, and orbital systems.

From Electron to Neutron

So far, Electron has been the smaller workhorse.

But Rocket Lab’s real upside may lie in one of the market’s most anticipated technical milestones of 2026: Neutron, a rocket designed to serve larger satellite constellations and heavier payloads.

If Electron was built to carry individual small satellites, Neutron is aimed at the growing demand for larger-scale orbital networks.

And if that transition works, Rocket Lab becomes a far more important partner not only for governments, but also for private companies that do not want to depend solely on SpaceX.

Three reasons investors keep watching Rocket Lab

• A 3D-printed heart: Rocket Lab’s engines are almost entirely 3D-printed. That allows the company to produce a new engine in roughly 24 hours, where the old industry standard often took months.

• More than launches: Over 60% of Rocket Lab’s revenue now comes from space systems, including components, software, and satellites, rather than launches alone. In other words, it is also selling the “shovels,” not just running the transport.

• NASA and government credibility: NASA and the U.S. government increasingly treat Rocket Lab as a serious second option in the launch ecosystem. That matters. It is a form of institutional validation that the company is here to stay.

Rocket Lab’s technical picture

When I was writing this article, the stock had still been trading neatly inside that box as of yesterday, March 16. By today, it had already moved out of that optimal zone.

That does not mean the chart suddenly looks bad. It does not.

But I would still keep some dry powder ready for DCA. Buying here would not be a mistake, but I would still prefer a small pullback. If I were adding in parts, the next levels I would be watching are 65 and 50.

2. Who is building this world?

The global economy currently has a glaring weak spot, and it’s called the Strait of Hormuz.

If something starts to go wrong there, everyone already knows the headline:
”oil prices go up.” Groundbreaking, right.

At this point, that doesn’t surprise anyone anymore.
🤔 But the real questions investors have been asking are different:

• What should I do? The move has already happened.

• Am I too late?

• Have all the good opportunities already passed?

👉 In my view… no.

Yes, many stocks have already rallied strongly, but markets never move in a straight line, and sectors never move in perfect sync.
Some names move early.
Others get noticed later.

Where Technical Analysis Adds Value

This is exactly where technical analysis has its edge.

It helps identify those “late movers”, companies that are:

• breaking through historical resistance levels

• or confirming new support zones

In other words, even if the first wave has already passed, there can still be valid entry points in the market.

Think of it like a wedding convoy.
While the lead car cruises at a steady 90 km/h, the cars behind are in constant flu… speeding up to close gaps or slowing down as they find their rhythm.

Stocks within a sector behave the same way. Not everything moves at once.
Some names are already far ahead. Others are only just starting.

The Bigger Picture: It’s Not Just Oil

There’s another important nuance here.
Opportunities don’t exist only in stocks that move directly with oil prices.

When energy prices rise and supply chains get disrupted, the impact spreads across multiple industries.

👉 In this article, I highlight 17 stocks across four groups:

• Crude Oil (6 stocks)
  Producers that can benefit from higher oil prices, as they sell at higher prices while costs typically lag behind.

• LNG (3 stocks)
  Companies that gain when the world needs to rapidly replace disrupted gas flows.

• Refined Fuels (4 stocks)
  Businesses that benefit when shortages extend beyond crude oil into diesel, gasoline, and jet fuel.

• Fertilizers & Agriculture (4 stocks)
  Names that may gain when energy shocks flow into fertilizer prices, farmer input costs, and ultimately the global food chain.

In other words: I’m not just looking for stocks that reacted to the news.
I’m looking for companies where macro and technicals are telling the same story.

🛢️ Crude Oil

This is the most direct branch of the story.
When one of the world’s most critical energy routes is at risk, the fastest and most immediate reaction usually happens in crude oil.

Why can this be positive for producers?

Because they sell the same barrel at a higher price, while their production costs typically don’t increase at the same pace. That means the price increase doesn’t just boost revenue, it can flow directly into profit margins.

For investors, there’s one key nuance:

• Not all oil names are cheap anymore.

• Not all are in good entry positions.

Some have already moved.
That’s why it makes sense to focus on stocks where, in addition to the story, there is still a technically valid entry point.

Stocks to watch:

Equinor (EQNR)

The strength of Equinor lies in combining oil, gas, and European energy security into a single company. When global energy markets tighten, investors often rotate into exactly these types of high-quality, stable producers.

📈 Technical Picture
The market has shown clearly that sellers were unable to stop the move at previous highs. That gives me a reason to consider a new position.

We now have confirmation from other market participants that this trend currently has no meaningful resistance.

From a technical perspective:

• The breakout has been confirmed

• Sellers failed to step in

• Buyers pushed through the zone decisively

Yes, after such a strong move, buying doesn’t feel comfortable.
And yes, if you have this stock, then taking profits here would still be completely reasonable.

But technically speaking, buying at current levels would no longer be a major mistake:

• Breakout is confirmed → price has entered a new range

• Trend remains intact

• The sector tailwind is supportive

👉 Ready. Price action suggests the market still has more to offer here.

ConocoPhillips (COP)

A major US oil producer whose strength lies in its broad production portfolio, strong cash flow, and ability to benefit quickly from higher oil prices. When energy prices rise, efficient giants like this are often among the first winners.

📈 Technical picture:
A very interesting and vivid example of how even add-on buys should be made in a technically correct way. COP was already one of my ideas in June last year:

The reason it came onto my radar was that the plan going forward was simple:

• there was a plan for what to do if the price falls,

• and there was also a plan for if the price moves higher, meaning where and when to add.

Today, the stock has completed that more positive scenario and has reached a zone where it is possible to make a technically correct add-on buy, or even a first buy.

From a technical point of view, it is ready for me in any case, and the type of trade would be a breakout trade: a strong area is in place, and the stock has also managed to close above it on the monthly close.

👉 I am watching today’s price levels.
A breakout trade = a momentum trade, and that momentum could hold up until $111.11. If it falls below that, then the probability increases that it will once again remain moving sideways between 100 and 125.

EOG Resources (EOG)

One of the highest-quality US shale oil names, whose strength lies in low costs and highly efficient production. These are exactly the kinds of players that tend to expand margins especially well in a higher oil price environment.

📈 Technical picture:
Similar to COP, but here the level is psychologically even stronger, because it has acted as resistance for the last 8 years. It has been tested repeatedly, but the March candle crushed the sellers.

👉 A strong area is in place. A monthly close above the key price level is in place. Ready for me. I can buy today, I can also wait for a small retest to get a slightly better price, but will it come?!

Our Scandinavian tour continues, and this time the next stop is Finland.

Last week, I went through the Swedish market. For anyone who missed it, you can find that piece here:

Sweden gave me a healthy number of technically clean stocks.

Finland was a different story.

🔍 I scanned more than 150 Finnish stocks, and this time I also included smaller-cap names. Not just to widen the net, but because the market itself felt worth digging into right now.

The deeper I looked, the clearer it became: Finland is not short on movement, but it is short on clarity.

Many stocks are drifting sideways without forming a clean, actionable setup. No strong structure. No obvious trigger. No clear roadmap.

Others are already in strong uptrends, but at levels where chasing them would feel late and careless. That is exactly where investors can get stuck near the top.
Not because the company is bad, but because the timing is.

So overall, the Finnish market felt much more mixed and much messier than Sweden this time.

Still, it was not empty work.

There were names worth marking down, and the setups that did appear were actually very practical, very teachable, and in some cases genuinely strong.

So what follows is not a list of the “best Finnish companies” from a fundamental perspective. These are simply stocks that stood out through technical analysis.
Charts where the structure, price zone, or investor psychology may create an interesting opportunity.

👉 The goal remains the same:
to make market decisions more deliberate, more thought-through, and more effective.

1. NOKIA (NOKIA)

Nokia is a telecom networks and connectivity technology company that sells mobile network, fiber, software, and network infrastructure solutions.

Over the past few months, the focus has been on its 2025 results and AI-network partnerships, both of which support the broader idea that Nokia wants to position itself as one of the connectivity winners of the AI era.

On the positive side, Q4 brought improving revenue and a stronger gross margin. On the negative side, the business still depends quite heavily on telecom operators’ investment cycles.

📈 Technical picture

Nokia is a very good technical example of what a strong price level can look like in practice.

I shared this idea in an article back in October last year. The subheadline was: “Nokia Refuses to Give Up.”

At the time, the stock had clearly started to come alive, and I was waiting for a breakout. 👇

The next chapter came in November, when that October move turned into a proper breakout.
In other words, the confirmation was there. Technically, you could either react immediately or wait for the retest. 👇

Roughly 75–85% of the time, a stock comes back for a retest. And as of today, the situation looks like this... 👇

...the stock did come back for a retest, picked up a bit of liquidity from lower levels, and is now trading roughly 40–50% higher.

👉 People often ask: when is it time to take profits?

Well, this is exactly the kind of moment that starts to make sense.

For me, Nokia is now in a zone where taking a bit of risk off the table would not be unreasonable. That said, I would definitely not flatten the position completely because... well... you never know. ;)

One thing does feel clear, though: this zone is strong enough that buying around current levels would, figuratively speaking, be a mistake.

Because right now, it is not clear:

• whether a correction starts from here or not

• whether the stock simply moves sideways for a while or not

What is clear is that this zone has moved the price before, and it has bent the chart before too.

For me to become interested again on the long side, Nokia would need to make a strong statement here. The clearest signal would be a monthly close above this major price level. Ideally, above the blue line at 7.9+, though even 7.75 would already be enough. ;)

If that happens, the resistance is out of the way, and the road toward 10 becomes much more open. But for that, a bit more patience is still needed.

👉 Right now: for me, this zone is a good place to lock something in.
For a new entry, I am waiting for a monthly close signal and confirmation from other investors that they are willing to pay 7.8+ euros per share, and keep the price there.

2. NESTE (NESTE)

Neste is a producer of renewable diesel and sustainable aviation fuel, which makes it a story where the green transition meets the cyclicality of the energy business.

Over the past few months, the focus has been on its 2025 results, where management called the year a turning point, while Q4 showed a strong recovery in renewable products margins.

On the positive side, EBITDA improved clearly and renewable product margins recovered. On the negative side, the business remains sensitive to regulation, demand swings, and oversupply in the market.

📈 Technical picture

Neste was also part of my oil sector scan last year.

Back then, the stock was trading around ~€10, so by now it has delivered roughly +200%...

The power of channel projection ;)
You do not find many cleaner examples than this, and once again it worked very well.

It is one of the few tools that can help find an optimal zone when the traffic on the left side of the chart is blurry and unclear.

This is a zone where I would definitely be thinking about partial profit-taking, and not with a tiny piece either.

This area has:

• a downtrend line, acting as resistance

• a strong price zone, which has repeatedly worked as both support and resistance

• a history of triggering very volatile moves

Of course, everything is individual. But one thing feels crystal clear: I would definitely not be brave enough to buy it here, because this resistance level is still very strong.

👉 What I’m watching: if I owned it, I would be taking profits. If I did not own it, I would wait and watch, and do nothing.

3. METSO (METSO)

Metso sells equipment, technology, and services for mining, minerals processing, and aggregates industries. In other words, it earns money by serving a broad part of the raw-material value chain.

Its 2025 results showed that orders and revenue both grew, while margins remained at a strong level.

On the positive side, profitability is quite solid for a heavy industry business. On the negative side, the company is still tied to the mining investment cycle, and growth is not yet showing strong operational leverage.

📈 Technical picture

Metso first came onto my radar in May last year...

...after spending quite a long time moving sideways, with the breakout requiring a monthly close in the €11.5–12 area.

That setup needed three more months of patience.

Then in September it finally came… the stock went on to deliver a fairly strong rally of 50%+.

Now we are seeing a mild correction / some profit-taking.

In any case, it came back onto my radar again. And if the stock comes back for a retest into this zone, a relatively wide one, but one that has effectively been tested throughout Metso’s entire public-market history, then I am ready.

Previous resistance should start offering support and liquidity.
That suits me well. I like it when I enter a stock and there is firm ground under my feet.

Why?

Because then it becomes much easier to understand when that ground disappears.
And if the plan does not work in my favor, future decisions become much easier too.

4. STORA ENSO (STERV)

Recently, I ran a small poll among my followers asking which market we should look at next – Finland or Sweden.

By a narrow but clear margin, Sweden won.

So today we’ll move across the Baltic Sea and take a look at which Swedish stocks currently show the most interesting technical setups.

The timing is quite good

The main Swedish stock index, OMXS30 – which tracks the 30 largest and most actively traded companies such as Volvo, Ericsson and H&M (two of them are also included in today’s selection) – reached another all-time high in February.

At the same time, the average daily trading volume on the Stockholm Stock Exchange increased 23.6% year-over-year in February, suggesting that investor interest in the market has clearly picked up.

On the economic side, the signals have also been strong.
Sweden’s manufacturing PMI rose to 56.1.

The PMI (Purchasing Managers’ Index) is one of the fastest indicators of economic activity. In very simple terms:

• Above 50 indicates economic expansion
• Below 50 signals economic contraction

So a reading of 56 suggests fairly solid industrial activity.

Macro backdrop

The broader macro picture currently looks relatively balanced.

Sweden’s central bank, Riksbank, has kept its policy rate at 1.75%, as inflation has moderated in recent months.

At the same time, the past few days have brought a bit of macro noise to European markets.
Sharp movements in oil prices and rising geopolitical tensions have pressured European equities more broadly, which has also caused the Swedish market to pull back slightly from its recent highs.

⚖️ EUR vs SEK

Over the past two and a half years, the Swedish krona has strengthened clearly against the euro – roughly +10–11%.

However, when looking at this move from a technical perspective, the EUR/SEK pair has now reached levels where such a trend could start to slow down or stabilize.

Banks would usually phrase it in a fairly diplomatic way:

“The krona may not continue strengthening at the same pace from here.” 🤓

🧭 Technical filter

The list below is not a ranking of the “best Swedish companies” from a fundamental perspective.

Instead, these are 17 stocks that stood out purely based on technical analysis – meaning their price charts show structures, patterns or price zones that could offer interesting opportunities for investors.

The only additional filter I applied was market capitalization.

I deliberately avoided scanning smaller companies this time, because in many of those stocks investor psychology is not clearly visible in the charts. In such cases, technical analysis can sometimes become more misleading than helpful.

For each company, I briefly highlight four things:

• what the company does
• why it might be interesting for investors
• which type of investor it might suit best
• the technical picture

From there, each investor can decide for themselves whether a specific sector, company or price zone is worth exploring further.

1. Investor AB (INVE-B)

Investor AB is one of Sweden’s best-known investment companies. Its portfolio includes major holdings such as Atlas Copco, ABB, AstraZeneca and Saab. The company is controlled by the Wallenberg family and is widely known in the Swedish market as a long-term capital compounding machine.

Why it may interest investors

• A diversified portfolio of high-quality industrial and healthcare companies
• A long history of paying dividends
• Often trades at a discount relative to the value of its underlying portfolio

Investor profile

✔ dividend investor
✔ long-term compounder

📈 Technical picture

Let’s start with historical behavior:

• When a top is formed, the stock usually enters a sideways phase or a correction – surprise, surprise. 🙂

• Then the recovery begins, followed by a breakout and a continuation of the rally.

• Eventually, the price returns for a retest, gathering the liquidity needed for the next move…

Over the past 10 years, this stock has done exactly that three times, and on all three occasions, capital went straight back to work afterward.

👉 For me, the most interesting zone to watch is 290–340 SEK.

2. Atlas Copco (ATCO-A)

Atlas Copco is one of Sweden’s most well-known industrial companies. It produces compressors, industrial equipment and specialized solutions for industries such as semiconductor manufacturing. The company is widely considered one of the highest-quality industrial growth stories in Europe.

Why it may interest investors

• A very strong global industrial brand
• Stable growth and high margins
• A long history of growing dividends

Investor profile

✔ quality growth investor
✔ long-term compounder

📈 Technical picture

Here we need to be somewhat cautious.

While scanning the Swedish market last year, there were several companies that looked very close to breaking out, but they still haven’t done so today.

Is that really the best use of capital? Probably not.
Let’s be honest: the Swedish market is perfectly capable of punishing investors who get impatient.

Right now I’m waiting for a breakout above a strong price level formed around the round number of 200 SEK.

Breakouts forming around round numbers tend to be particularly interesting, because these levels often carry additional psychological weight.

👉 I’m waiting for a monthly close above 200 SEK.

Will it happen? I don’t know.
And more importantly – I have no idea how long the stock might keep moving sideways below 200.

So for now, I wait.

3. Volvo (VOLV-A)

Volvo is one of the world’s best-known manufacturers of trucks and heavy machinery. A large portion of the company’s revenue comes from Europe and North America, making it one of the strongest players in the cyclical industrial sector.

Why it may interest investors

• One of the largest truck manufacturers in the world
• Strong cash flow during strong economic cycles
• A generous dividend payer in recent years

📈 Technical picture

The past four months have shown strong bullish price action, culminating in a monthly close at all-time highs in February.

Over the past two years, the price had already tested this level twice, which now qualifies the move as a breakout trade.

👉 In my view, this is technically a correct setup:
the breakout has happened and the price is currently in the retest phase.

The box extends slightly lower, where the breakout momentum could still remain intact. If the price drops below that area, then it’s time to start thinking again…

Keep in mind: a breakout trade is fundamentally a momentum trade.

4. Ericsson (ERIC-A)

Ericsson is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of telecommunications equipment. Its technology is used in mobile network infrastructure around the globe. The company has been a key player in the development of both 4G and 5G networks and works closely with major telecom operators worldwide.

Why it may interest investors

• One of the largest providers of mobile network infrastructure globally
• Direct exposure to investments in 5G networks
• A strong global client base in the telecom sector

📈 Technical picture

There is a price level here that investors tend to find particularly interesting.

Do you know what it is?

This level has several names:
a sensitive price level, a key level, a strong level…

But in essence, it has two defining characteristics. Whenever the price reaches this level, something tends to happen.

Investors rarely remain indifferent there – either profits are taken, new buying interest appears, or stronger selling pressure begins.

The grey zone has repeatedly acted as both resistance and support.

And if the market wants to break through such a level, it needs real strength.

It’s almost as if someone “calls their friends”, who then call their friends – and eventually enough capital arrives to push the price through the level.

Whether through strong buying pressure or strong selling pressure, breaking such a level always requires force.

Today, Ericsson’s price is already above that level.

And one of my own “rules” – it’s not written in any textbook, but it’s written in my notebook – says that it’s usually better not to trade before a strong level has been properly broken, especially when the market moves sideways.

👉 Now that the level has been broken, I consider it technically reasonable to operate up to roughly 88 SEK.

5. Epiroc (EPI-A)

Epiroc produces equipment and technology for mining and infrastructure projects. The company was spun off from Atlas Copco in 2018 and has since developed into a strong industrial player in its own right.

Why it may interest investors

• A strong position in the mining and infrastructure equipment market
• Benefits from investments in the commodity sector
• A global customer base

📈 Technical picture

I have mentioned this idea previously both on this channel and at Estonia’s largest annual investor conference (Investor Toomas Conference).

This week the setup triggered during the retest, although the price has not moved very far yet.

It could easily sail back into the retest box again.

👉 For me the trigger is already there, but the idea remains clearly worth watching.

6. Svenska Handelsbanken (SHB-A)

Handelsbanken is one of Sweden’s largest banks and operates not only in Sweden but also in the United Kingdom and other Nordic markets. The bank is known for its conservative risk management and strong capital base.

Why it may interest investors

• One of the strongest bank balance sheets in Europe
• A long history of paying dividends
• Benefits from higher interest rates

✔ dividend investor
✔ follower of the financial sector

📈 Technical picture

A price level that had acted as resistance for more than 10 years was broken during January–February.

The zone has been tested multiple times before, which makes it a classic breakout setup.

👉 For me, the technically reasonable operating range sits roughly between 125–140 SEK.

And definitely not on “signals from the universe.”

👉 The keyword of today’s post is simple: confirmation from other investors - breakout opportunities!

When a stock breaks above its all-time high during a period of escalating geopolitical tension and unstable indices, that is more than a random move.
It is capital making a decision.

📈 My Breakout Trading Rules

• Price stuck below one resistance level at least for 1–1.5 years
• Multiple failed breakout attempts strengthen the level
• Breakout candle with strong volume
• Monthly close above resistance confirms the breakout
• In ~75–85% of cases, price retests the breakout zone

U.S.–Iran tensions have escalated. Markets are reacting to headlines, and volatility is not in short supply.
In this kind of environment, breakouts become especially interesting because they show where money is choosing to go.

📅 My channel is a little over a year old, and the tradition continues:
on the first trading day of every month, I bring new ideas to the table.

March is no exception.

🎯 Focus: Breakout Trades

Stocks that:

• closed at all-time highs (ATH) or very close to them

• broke through repeatedly tested psychological resistance levels

• showed relative strength while the broader market hesitated

These are not random moves.
These are moments where sellers have been absorbed, and buyers have taken control.

👉 In uncertain markets, these moves carry even more weight.

🌍 Macro as a Stress Test of Structure

The current U.S.–Iran situation adds pressure to markets.
Geopolitical uncertainty like this typically means:

• sharp index swings

• rapid risk-off reactions

• short-term emotional sell-offs

This is where breakouts are tested.

If a stock can break out and hold its level amid macro noise, it suggests that the accumulation phase is over, and that stronger hands are now visible, quite literally.

🔎 How Did I Filter These Stocks?

I didn’t review 10 stocks.
I didn’t review 100.
Even 1,000 would have been too few.

👉 This time, I clicked through roughly 1,700 charts.

I started in TradingView (TV), scanning across 30 countries.
The initial universe was about 18,000 stocks — even for me, that’s too much.

Clearly, it makes no sense to look at all of them.
So first, the noise had to be removed.

🧹 First Filter – Fundamental Cleanliness

Before I even looked at charts, I applied a few filters in TV to ensure that:

• We’re not dealing with microcaps

• The company is not burning cash

• Capital is being used efficiently

• The balance sheet is not risky

📊 Market Cap > $1B → 18,000 became ~4,100 stocks

Why?
Small-cap companies can move sharply, but liquidity is weak and prices are easier to manipulate.
A larger market cap increases the probability that a breakout is supported by real institutional capital.

💰 Positive Free Cash Flow → ~2,900 stocks
Why? Earnings can be accounting-based. Cash is real.
Positive free cash flow shows the company generates actual money after investments.
It separates strong businesses from those that are only profitable “on paper.”

📈 ROE above 8% → ~1,900 stocks
Why? Return on Equity (ROE) measures how efficiently a company uses shareholder capital.
Companies below 8% ROE are often sluggish or inefficient allocators of capital.
We are looking for businesses that can compound capital sustainably.

⚖️ Debt-to-Equity below 2 → ~1,500 stocks
Why? Excess leverage can break a company during a crisis.
A D/E below 2 suggests a balance sheet under control and lower systemic vulnerability — especially important in the current market environment.

In addition, I manually reviewed a few hundred more:

• Some names from my personal watchlists

• DAX constituents (Germany’s blue-chip index)

• EuroStoxx 50 components

• Nasdaq 100 stocks

And then it began.

After mapping charts and selecting breakout structures, about 60 fresh breakout candidates remained.

Yes, 60 is obviously too many.

I refined. Measured. Cut. Reviewed.
Still 35. 👀
Way too many.

As you can imagine, there was a lot of thinking involved.
Eventually, I narrowed it down to 15 stocks.

Are these 15 the absolute sweetest strawberries from the batch?
Time will tell.

👉 But one thing is certain:
These are not random moves. These are structural breakouts supported by solid fundamentals.

1. Rotork plc (LSE: ROR)

What does the company do?

Rotork manufactures industrial valve actuators and flow control solutions for the energy, water, and industrial sectors.

📊 Fundamental Snapshot

• Debt/Equity ~0.04 – Essentially debt-free. Very low financial risk.

• Gross margin ~49% – Strong for an industrial business. Indicates solid pricing power.

• ROE ~17% / ROIC ~16–17% – Capital is working efficiently.

• Asset turnover above 1.0 – Asset utilization has improved.

• P/E ~33 – Not cheap. Growth must justify the valuation.

• Net margin ~13% – Below prior peaks, which may indicate cyclical pressure or narrowing pricing flexibility.

• Cash per share declining – The cash cushion is thinner than before.

🧠 Why?

• Operates in critical infrastructure.

• Very strong balance sheet.

• More of a quality name than a speculative one.

📈 Technical View

An 8-year resistance level.
Seven prior breakout attempts — all failed.

In January and February, volume expanded, and the breakout was confirmed.
Technically clean structure. For me, the optimal zone is marked on the chart.

2. HAL Trust (AMS: HAL)

What does the company do?

HAL Trust is an investment holding company with stakes in both listed and unlisted businesses.
It is known for long-term capital compounding.

📊 Fundamental Snapshot

• P/E ~9 – Cheap relative to the market. Suggests a potential discount to NAV (net asset value).

• P/B ~1.07 – Trading close to book value. No major premium.

• EV/EBITDA ~6 – Moderate valuation relative to operating cash flow.

• ROE ~11–12% – Solid, but not a high-growth profile.

• Net margin ~16% (improving) – Profitability recovering from prior weakness.

• Debt/Equity ~0.33 – Moderate leverage, under control.

🧠 Why?

• A diversified investment holding, essentially a mini-portfolio within one stock.

• Historically conservative management and long-term value creation.

• Often trades at a discount to the underlying asset value.

📈 Technical View

Over the past decade, the price has repeatedly stalled around the €150–160 level.

In January and February, sellers were absorbed.
Investors have now confirmed they are willing to pay higher prices.

For me, the chart shows a technically valid zone - I am watching for a mild retest.

3. Schneider Electric SE (EPA: SU)

What does the company do?

Schneider Electric provides energy management and industrial automation solutions, with exposure to electrification, data centers, and energy efficiency.

📊 Fundamental Snapshot

• ROE ~15% – Stable capital returns. Reflects a quality business model.

• Gross margin ~39–43% – Strong for industrials. Suggests pricing power.

• Operating margin ~15–17% – Healthy operational efficiency.

• Revenue and EBIT per share in an uptrend – Growth has been consistent.

• P/E ~37 – The market is already pricing in strong growth.

• EV/EBITDA ~21 – Premium valuation versus traditional industrial peers.

• Debt/Equity ~0.73 – Moderate leverage, higher than in the past.

🧠 Why?

• Direct exposure to megatrends: electrification, AI data centers, energy efficiency.

• A high-quality global leader in its niche.

• More of a “premium industrial” than a classic cyclical stock.

📈 Technical View

This name has appeared in my previous analyses. Back then, it was flashing green.
On Friday, it turned fully green.

For me, the structure is now technically clean.

4. Burkhalter Holding AG (SIX: BRKN)

What does the company do?

A Swiss provider of electrical installations and building technology services, focused on construction and renovation projects.

📊 Fundamental Snapshot

• ROE ~57% / ROIC ~47% – Extremely high capital returns. Reflects strong efficiency.

• Asset turnover ~2.5 – Assets are actively utilized. Generates revenue on a relatively small asset base.

• Debt/Assets ~0.15 – Low leverage. Balance sheet under control.

• P/E ~29 – The market is already pricing in strong returns.

• Net margin ~4–5% – Low margins, typical for service businesses.

• EV/EBITDA ~22 – Valuation reflects optimism.

🧠 Why?

• Domestic Swiss service business — relatively stable, less exposed to global shocks.

• Very high capital returns make it a quality niche operator.

• More of an efficiency story than a margin story.

📈 Technical View

The structure is slightly unconventional, but the CHF 150 level has historically been a clear stumbling block.

In February, that level was decisively broken, and sellers were once again clearly overpowered. Technically, a bit extended, but still, solid.

The market has felt restless in recent weeks.
Deep red → strong green → red again.

The pace has picked up, and with it, emotions have started to swing.

And sooner or later, the same questions begin to surface:

• Is my portfolio leaning too much toward high-growth “rockets”?

• Too concentrated in tech?

• Should I make some adjustments… maybe just to sleep better at night?

Considering this, one observation has stood out clearly:
👉 When the broader market turns red, dividend-paying stocks often show relative strength. At times, even flashes green.

Is the “safe haven” changing?

It seems the safe haven is no longer gold.
Quietly and almost unnoticed, dividend stocks are beginning to take over that role. Especially when the market loses balance, and investors are unsure where to stand, what to do, and where to move next.

That is why today I decided to look at companies that truly pay dividends.
Those paying with their last breath, squeezing out the final cent, were left outside the door this time.

🔍 Once again, more than 100 stocks were screened, and the technical filter did its job.

How many made it through?

Well… top restaurants rarely serve fewer than ten courses.
And my articles usually follow the same rule: fewer than ten stocks are rarely found here.
Today’s menu: 14. Gourmet selection. 🙂

So in front of you is another group of companies where dividends and technical structure meet.

☝️ But first…

Dividend is not just yield…

The question is not only dividend yield. The real question is sustainability.
Who pays, and who can continue to pay when the market becomes uncomfortable?

A high dividend does not automatically mean a safe dividend.
That is why I tried to look at companies more broadly.

In general, I searched for dividend payers:

• with a yield of mostly 4%+

• with a reasonable payout ratio (not extreme)

• with manageable debt

• and with the ability to comfortably cover interest expenses (interest coverage)

The selection includes companies from different sectors, from traditional dividend payers to higher-yield segments.

👉 The focus was to avoid classic dividend traps and find companies where dividend and price action could work together.

The screening is based on TradingView data and provides direction, not absolute truth.
As always, important metrics should be verified independently before making decisions.

But enough of that…

Let’s move to the dividend names that made the final list. 👇

1. TotalEnergies (Euronext Paris: TTE)

🔎 What they do
A global energy giant: oil, gas, and growing renewable energy. Cash flow depends on the energy cycle, but the business is diversified and large.

💰 Dividend
~6% | Payout ~60%

🧩 2 facts

• One of the few European energy giants aggressively expanding its renewable portfolio (LNG + solar)

• Maintained dividend even during low oil price periods, thanks to strong cash flow and asset rotation

📊 Technical

From a historically strong zone around $50, the price gained momentum.
That momentum pushed the price through the $60 level, which had previously acted as resistance.

Today, structurally, the chart looks clean, and technically, there should not be major obstacles ahead.

Will you wait for a retest near $60, act immediately, or does this not fit your thesis at all? The choice, as always, is yours.

👉 Technically, things look solid: structure and momentum are healthy, which may provide both dividend income and growth going forward.

2. Canadian Natural Resources (TSX & NYSE: CNQ)

🔎 What they do
One of Canada’s largest oil and gas producers. Focused on low-cost production and strong free cash flow, supporting both dividends and buybacks.

💰 Dividend
~4% | Payout ~70%

🧩 2 facts

• One of Canada’s most stable dividend payers, with 20+ consecutive years of dividend growth

• During strong cash flow periods, the company aggressively repurchases shares, supporting both stock price and dividend capacity

📊 Technical

Technically approaching a strong breakout.
Ideally, we would want the February monthly close at this level. But if waiting is difficult (fundamental homework done and you like the company), even a weekly close here may be sufficient, and last week… we got it.

Technically, this would still be a valid setup.
The structure is solid, and dividends are being paid.

In the best scenario, one could also wait for a retest near $50, but for dividend-focused investors, it may already be enough that — after last week’s close, or preferably the February monthly close — the breakout is confirmed and the path for further growth becomes clearer.

3. Ares Capital Corporation (NASDAQ: ARCC)

🔎 What they do
One of the largest BDC-type lending companies in the world.
BDC (Business Development Company): similar to REITs in the sense that they distribute a large portion of profits as dividends, but instead of real estate, they invest in loans and corporate financing.

💰 Dividend
~9–10% | High payout — maintained or increased for the past decade

🧩 2 facts

• One of the stronger dividend payers in the BDC sector

• A large portion of loans are floating-rate, meaning higher interest rates increase their income

📊 Technical

Long story short: a sensitive price level that has acted as both resistance and support for decades.

Today, price is approaching this level as support, and everything remains constructive as long as price holds above the grey zone. If it does, the path for growth opens further.

February is here, and I’m continuing a tradition I’ve kept for a while now:
At the start of each month, I put a fresh set of ideas on the table.

But this post wasn’t built on ideas alone.
It required process, filtering, and discipline.

Here’s what went through my “scanning machine”:

• ~700 of the largest European stocks by market cap

• The full S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100

• Several watchlists built over time

In short:

~1,500 stocks → 50–60 survivors → 18 final picks

Of those:

• 8 from Europe

• 10 from the US

Most of them share one thing in common: they’re breaking out.

📈 Why focus on breakouts at the start of the month?

Because breakouts matter only if they hold.
And for that, I want to see a monthly close.

A monthly close above a key level tells me one simple thing:
Investors are willing to pay the highest price in years, and stay there.

That’s real confirmation.

• What the company does,

• and why it might deserve a spot on your radar.

1. Rio Tinto (LSE: RIO)

What does it do?
Rio Tinto is a global mining company with British–Australian roots and one of the largest players in the sector.
Its main products are iron ore, copper, and aluminium.

👉 Why put it on the radar?

• One of the world’s largest copper producers
  Copper is critical for power grids, data centers, and the energy transition.

• Iron ore exposure
  Closely linked to China and global construction activity.

• Strong cash flow with a clear dividend focus
  Dividend yield around 4%, with a healthy payout ratio.

📈 Technical view

A resistance zone that held for five years (6,000–6,300 pence) was broken in January. In simple terms, investors are willing to pay the highest price seen in the last five years.

New level unlocked → a technically solid setup for a long-term investor.

2. Kongsberg Gruppen (OSL: KOG)

What does it do?
Kongsberg Gruppen is a Norwegian defense and technology company.
Its core areas include defense systems, missiles and weapons, maritime systems, and aerospace electronics.
Its main customers are governments and state agencies.

👉 Why put it on the radar?

• One of the key defense names in Europe

• A direct beneficiary of long-term defense spending, not a short-term headline story

• Order-based business → good visibility and steady demand

📈 Technical view

• The long-term down-trendline has been broken

• A breakout from a strong price level is already in place

I also mentioned Kongsberg earlier this month in my defense sector post, when the technical picture was still messy.
That phase is now behind us.

In the short term, a mild retest toward the 270–315 NOK zone would be normal.
The overall structure remains bullish, and technically, a long-term investor would not be making a major mistake here.

3. Infineon Technologies (XETR: IFX)

What does it do?
Infineon Technologies is a German semiconductor manufacturer.
Its focus areas include automotive, industrial automation, energy solutions, and power electronics.

👉 Why put it on the radar?

• Power chips and energy efficiency
  Relevant for EVs, industry, and data centers

• A good fit for investors who want a European chip name, not a US megacap

📈 Technical view

Similar to Kongsberg, a few months back, I mentioned Infineon earlier when the price was still stuck in a difficult zone.
The January monthly close pushed the stock into much clearer territory, and the price has since come back for a retest.

Technically clean:

• Breakout confirmed

• Currently in a retest phase

Strength was expected, and it has shown up.
From a long-term view, capital has been deployed efficiently if the fundamentals also make sense to you.
If not, next one.

4. ASML (Euronext Amsterdam: ASML)

What does it do?
ASML is a key company in the global semiconductor industry.
It is the only company in the world that produces EUV lithography machines — without them, advanced chips cannot be made.

👉 Why put it on the radar?

• A practical monopoly at the most critical point of the chip supply chain

• AI, data centers, chips — in the end, everything leads back to ASML

📈 Technical view

I have mentioned ASML many times, and it could not be left out here either.
In January, the price broke through a major level, with the monthly close confirming the move.

New level unlocked.

Personally, I would prefer to see a retest in the 900–1,080 € range.
From a long-term perspective, there are no major technical mistakes here, especially if that retest does happen, which would mean very efficient timing.

There is, of course, the risk that the price never comes back that low.

5. Leonardo (LDO)

What does it do?
Leonardo is an Italian defense and aerospace company.
Its focus areas include defense systems, aerospace, helicopters, and electronics.
Its main customers are governments and public institutions.

👉 Why put it on the radar?

• A core name in European defense

• Strong sector tailwinds → orders and visibility

• Real production and long-term contracts

📈 Technical view

The stock has printed its highest monthly close ever, which is a clear technical confirmation.

Price has broken above a level that acted as resistance for almost a year.
The defense sector tailwind is present, and technically, the picture looks clean.

From here on, the process stays the same.

6. Ferrari (RACE)

Yes-yes, it sounds a bit like science fiction… but in 2026, it is already real life.

Sure, a bit of movement still helps improve results.
But it no longer has to feel like suffering; it can actually be enjoyable.

🧬 GLP-1

GLP-1 medications have achieved what dozens of diet trends failed to do:

• People lose around 15–20% of their body weight on average within about 1.5 years

• The risk of type 2 diabetes and heart disease drops significantly

• And for investors, this is becoming a narrative as big as the AI boom: “a big problem + big technology + a massive market”

A simple comparison helps to understand the scale:

👉 In the United States, roughly one in eight adults has already used GLP-1 medication.

And this market is far from finished.
Forecasts for GLP-1 and weight-loss drugs vary depending on what is included, but many estimates point to $95–150 billion before 2030 (currently around $50–65 billion).

Some analysts are more conservative, others more aggressive, but the shared message is clear: this market is large and growing.

Most importantly, this is not just a medical story.
It is psychology + health + money in one package.

What hormone is GLP-1 anyway?

GLP-1 is an incretin hormone that our intestines release after we eat.

Its job follows a very simple logic:

• It helps increase insulin when blood sugar rises,

• It reduces glucagon, so the liver does not release extra sugar into the bloodstream,

• It slows down stomach emptying,

• And it sends a message to the brain: “You’re full. Relax.”

That is basically how our internal “stop button” works.

📺 I remember very clearly how a former ski jumper once described his daily routine on a TV show.
He said he ate with a small spoon to avoid overeating:

“If I eat with a big spoon, it’s too easy to overeat.
With a small spoon, I know exactly when it’s the right time to stop.”

Smart idea!
But… the small-spoon theory did not fully satisfy scientists.
They looked closer at this “gut hormone” and asked themselves:

“If we can amplify this signal and keep it active for longer,
could we treat diabetes and obesity with it?”

By today, the answer is a fairly clear YES.

👉 The psychological angle is important here:

GLP-1 does not magically trick a person into suddenly loving broccoli.

You are not sitting at the table clenching your teeth.
You simply don’t feel as hungry.

It reduces sweet cravings, makes the “hunger signals” quieter, and turns “I eat less” into something logical and natural… without fighting a daily battle of willpower.

How is that even possible? 🤯

Alright, let’s bring this back down to earth for a moment:

A GLP-1 pill does not magically burn fat.
You still need to move your body.
But it changes how and how much you eat, and how your body processes energy.

1. Less Hunger

GLP-1 medications activate receptors in the brain that control hunger and appetite.

The result:

• Reduced hunger

• Fewer “I want something tasty right now” cravings

• Less emotional eating (stress, boredom, late-night snacking)

2. Slower Stomach Emptying

GLP-1 slows down how quickly food leaves the stomach.

This means:

• The feeling of fullness lasts longer

• Portion sizes decrease naturally

• The urge to snack drops

👉 You don’t have to consciously think, “Today I’ll take a smaller portion.”
The portion simply becomes smaller on its own.

3. More Stable Blood Sugar

GLP-1 medications:

• Increase insulin only when blood sugar is high

• Reduce glucagon,

• Smooth out glucose spikes and crashes.

Less blood sugar fluctuation = fewer sugar cravings and fewer late-night fridge raids.

When you combine these three effects, something happens that traditional diets rarely achieve:

Calories go down… without constantly thinking about calories.

A steady calorie deficit appears without daily suffering or willpower battles.

What does real-world data say?

Clinical studies show:

• With semaglutide injections (Ozempic / Wegovy) — average weight loss around ~15%

• With tirzepatide (Mounjaro / Zepbound — dual action) — often 17–22%

• With oral tablets (for example, Wegovy pill versions in development/launch phases) — results are getting very close to injections

This is a level that, in the past, was mostly associated with gastric bypass surgery.

Why Could Tablets Be the Turning Point?

The first GLP-1 wave came with injections.
They worked extremely well — but injections are:

• inconvenient,

• expensive,

• often require doctor visits,

• and for many people, simply a big no because of needles.

For a long time, oral GLP-1 sounded almost impossible.
Hormones usually break down quickly in the stomach.

But the pharmaceutical industry found a technological workaround:

💊 The tablet can be absorbed directly into the bloodstream before stomach acid destroys it.

And here is the entire turning point in one short equation:

Injections = first wave
Tablets = mass market

When health technology moves from “niche” → “mass,”
markets often move from bottom-left → top-right. 📈

With GLP-1, that shift may be happening now.
Several analysts already call 2026 “the year of weight-loss drugs.”

The first oral options are entering the market, and competitors are rushing in.

Why Is This “AI Boom 2.0” for Investors?

To an investor’s ear, the GLP-1 story sounds very familiar:

• a massive global problem (obesity, diabetes, heart disease),

• a technological solution (biology instead of dieting),

• a worldwide market (billions of people, not thousands),

• psychology + health + money in one package.

The numbers speak for themselves:

• tens of millions of GLP-1 users in the U.S. already,

• many do not want to return to the “old world,”

• market size estimates around $95–150 billion before 2030,

• today we are roughly $50–65 billion.

And then the logical question appears:

“Who does this money ultimately flow through — and who actually wins?”

In the next section, we look at the companies most likely to benefit —
from pharmaceutical giants to the “shovel sellers” behind the scenes.

1. Novo Nordisk (NVO)

Role: GLP-1 leader

Key products:

• Ozempic – diabetes

• Wegovy – weight loss

• Rybelsus – oral semaglutide

• Wegovy pill – launched January 2026 (first large-scale oral GLP-1 for the mass market)

Novo Nordisk brought GLP-1 drugs from niche to mainstream and currently leads the market with an estimated ~40–50% share.
Production capacity is being expanded aggressively (for example, the acquisition of Catalent) to keep up with demand.

Important context:
GLP-1 treatment is usually not a one-time course. It often lasts for years.
From a pharmaceutical perspective, this means recurring and stable revenue, almost like a Netflix subscription model.

The oral pill expands the total market even further.
It reduces the need for injections and doctor visits, making treatment more accessible for people who would otherwise delay it…

📈 Technical Picture

From a technical perspective, last week was one of the most meaningful weeks for Novo Nordisk in the past year and a half.
At first glance, the chart may not look dramatic, but buyers finally showed long-awaited strength.
They showed a change in structure.

What does that mean?

For about 1.5 years, buyers tried to push the stock higher, but repeatedly failed to break above previous highs.
Each attempt formed a lower high (LH), momentum faded, energy disappeared, and eventually a lower low (LL) was printed instead.

Until last week.

Last week’s close confirmed that buyers finally managed to break above a previous major high.
I treat this as a confirmation and a signal coming directly from investor behavior.

The technical signal is now on the table.

Back in November, the price was briefly pushed lower, and the market was shaken around 269 Danish kroner.
Since that point, the stock has made fairly clean upward movements.

👉 Technically, entering at current levels would not be considered a mistake.
This is no longer a situation of simply “waiting for the market to rise from the bottom.”
A structural shift has already appeared.

There is no point in waiting just for the sake of waiting… you wait with a plan.

🛡️ Defense industry: when the world gets nervous, you cannot ignore that sector

The new year started literally with a bang.

A U.S. military operation in Venezuela, the arrest of Maduro, and escalating tensions in South America are a reminder that geopolitical risk never sleeps.

Add Ukraine.
Add the Middle East.
Add Taiwan.

All of it points to the same conclusion: security is once again priority number one.

Geopolitics becomes real not in speeches or headlines, but in how fast real military assets are deployed when tensions escalate.
When something happens, states don’t improvise. They rely on platforms and systems that are already built, tested, and operational.

That’s where theory meets reality…

In the context of the Venezuela events, it’s worth noting that U.S. special operations standard platforms were likely used in the Caracas area - namely, MH-60 Black Hawk helicopters produced by Lockheed Martin (via Sikorsky), and MH-47 Chinook helicopters from Boeing.

Why talk about platforms instead of just helicopters?

Because in defense, companies don’t sell a one-off machine. They sell a long-term platform and systems-based. A base onto which new weapons, sensors, communication systems, and software can be added for decades. A typical lifecycle looks like this: production → modernization → maintenance → upgrades

We’re talking 30–50 years. That translates into recurring, predictable, and growing cash flows.

👉 This is exactly why both Lockheed Martin and Boeing are on my radar today — not only because of the geopolitical narrative, but also purely from a technical perspective.

📊 NATO’s 2% is no longer a goal; it’s the minimum

Ten-plus years ago, the defense sector was seen as stable but slow-growing.

Today, that picture has completely flipped.

• The U.S. defense budget is approaching $1 trillion by 2026.

• European defense spending has already reached €381 billion, growing faster than in the U.S.

• NATO members are moving toward 2% of GDP… and beyond.

A decade ago, NATO’s 2% GDP defense-spending target was viewed as more utopian than realistic. In 2014, only three member states met it.

Today?

According to NATO’s official projections, in 2025/26 all 32 member states are expected to reach or exceed the 2% level for the first time ever. This is no longer a soft guideline; it’s a practical minimum requirement.

• Poland is spending roughly 4.5–5% of GDP on defense.

• Germany has finally crossed the 2% threshold after decades of underinvestment.

• Previously cautious countries like Spain, Luxembourg, and Italy are accelerating sharply.

And this isn’t even the end of the story.

At the 2025 NATO summit in The Hague, members agreed on a new, more ambitious direction:

• 3.5% of GDP for direct defense spending,

• and up to 5% for broader defense and security investments by 2035.

What does this mean for investors?

It means:

• large-scale replacement of aging equipment,

• production of entirely new platforms,

• and long-term maintenance contracts.

• long backlogs

In other words: capital flows into this sector for years, not quarters.

Lockheed Martin is one of the world’s largest defense contractors. Its F-35 has become the NATO standard fighter, and HIMARS systems are used by multiple allied nations. Together, they position LMT as a backbone of global air and missile defense, supported by long-term contracts stretching well into the 2040s.

📊 Technical view

One of the large defense names currently offers a clean technical picture and a clear scenario.

Yes, the first glance invites criticism: the chart trends from the lower left to the upper right. 😉
But what really stands out is a strong price level around the round, psychological $500 zone:

That level has been tested multiple times.
Price briefly reached $600, but the upside break, and a fast return below $500 came with strong, decisive candles - a clear sign that this is a highly sensitive area.

When a level is sensitive, and the price is below it, there’s no reason to fight with that.

👉 The plan:

• Conservative approach: wait for a monthly close above $500 (as it is right now)

• More aggressive traders may consider it if it gets a weekly close above $520

Let the market prove strength first.

Over the past few months, REITs have made a strong comeback in market conversations. Charts are circulating, and the message is simple:

“Global REIT valuations are at an all-time low relative to equities - even lower than during the Great Financial Crisis”

👉 And if you’re an investor, the question naturally follows:

Is this a real opportunity or just another good-looking story?

Let’s dig in…

Starting from the basics: what is a REIT?

A REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) is essentially a publicly traded real estate company. Not a developer. Not a speculator. But an owner.

Put simply, it’s a company that owns and operates real estate. Ranging from warehouses and office buildings to hospitals and data centers.

These properties are leased out, rental income is collected, and a large portion of that cash flow is paid out to investors as dividends.

💡 By law, REITs are required to distribute at least 90% of their taxable income as dividends in order to maintain their tax-advantaged status.
That’s why dividend yields in this sector tend to be structurally higher than average.

In practice, a REIT allows you to be a landlord without buying property yourself or dealing with tenants. They do the work for you.

REITs are built for one primary purpose: cash flow.

Because of that, REITs have historically been:

• attractive to income-focused investors

• a calm, stabilizing component for pension funds

• a portfolio ballast rather than a growth engine

📉 Why are REITs in a “cheap” zone?

There’s nothing mysterious or hidden here.
The main reason is very clear: interest rates.

REITs are sensitive to interest rates because real estate is a debt-driven business.
And while rates have started to come down over the past year, REIT stocks haven’t followed yet.

That doesn’t mean the market is “wrong” or irrational.

Real estate needs stability, not a single rate cut.
REITs don’t move on the first easing. They move when the market genuinely believes that financing conditions are normalizing in a durable way.

There’s also a second, smaller factor.

REITs are simply not where capital wants to go right now. This is a slow sector. It offers cash flow, not a story.
And at the moment, markets clearly prefer growth, momentum, and action over patience.

🔍 I scanned the entire REIT sector

As I usually do, I lined up the largest REIT stocks, roughly 180 names in total, and examined what the price action actually reveals.

And that scan confirmed the narrative built earlier:

Many REITs simply don’t move on the first rate cuts.

I had already written about REITs back in the spring, when interest rates were slowly starting to come down. Technically, many stocks were sitting near promising breakout zones.
But what didn’t happen were the breakouts themselves…

Once again, those who invested blindly, without looking at the charts, got burned. They were hoping that this time the breakouts would finally come, followed by growth.

They didn’t.

Yes, investors were paid 4–5% in dividends for waiting, but at the same time, several stocks declined far more than those dividends could ever offset.

📈 “Bring the charts.”

Right now, REITs are not moving in sync. When moves happen, they are selective.

Most of the sector does not confirm the narrative that cheap valuations seem to promise: “Go all in.”

If someone is looking for both… dividend income and growth in the REIT space at the same time, it’s fair to say: that’s a very difficult combination.

This is not a sector where you buy everything or simply something, and wait.
This is a sector where you need to select carefully and time your entries.

👉 That’s exactly the lens I’ll use going forward:
from nearly 180 REITs, let’s see which ones actually survived the technical filter.

Welltower (WELL)

Welltower is the largest healthcare REIT in the world by market capitalization.
Its portfolio is built around senior housing, medical office buildings, and care facilities across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.

The business rests on a long-term demographic tailwind:
populations are aging, and demand for healthcare grows regardless of economic cycles. The dividend is stable, but not particularly high.
The focus here isn’t on squeezing out maximum yield… it’s on cash-flow quality and durability.

Today, I’ll mix charts with a handful of numbers.
That said, REITs are evaluated using a different fundamental toolkit, which I’ll leave as homework. Below is a practical cheat sheet to follow:

• Dividend yield: ~4–6%
  Above 8% often signals elevated risk or instability.

• FFO per share growth: ~3–5% annually
  Steady growth usually reflects a functioning rental model.

• P/FFO: ~10–15x
  Lower can mean value — or trouble. Higher often reflects quality.

• Occupancy: above 90%
  Sector-specific, but declining occupancy is an early warning sign.

• Debt-to-equity: below 0.6 is solid, up to 1.0 still manageable
  More leverage equals higher interest-rate sensitivity.

• Interest coverage: above 4–5x
  Shows how comfortably cash flow covers interest expenses.

📊 Technical view

Over the past three years, WELL has delivered nearly a 250% move.
Yes, the P/E ratio looks intimidating, but for REITs, P/E is largely the wrong lens.

I won’t spend time on that. I’m sticking to this channel’s core purpose: helping you avoid technical mistakes.

And as we saw earlier this spring, even when the broader market was moving cleanly higher, REITs punished poor timing. Acting too early didn’t leave much green on the screen. So, watch your step!

Stocks like WELL, these long-running “rockets”, are not easy to enter cleanly.
But opportunities do exist.

The most recent correction once again started near $200.
Regulars on this channel already know: in U.S. markets, round numbers, especially 200, are a dangerous combination, particularly for fresh buys.

Price has since pulled back, and I’ve mapped out gray zones — areas where momentum paused briefly during the prior advance.

I’ve said this many times:
if you want to get something practical out of technical analysis, these pause zones are where it happens.
They’re easy to spot and surprisingly effective.

It doesn’t matter which stock you’re looking at.
When former resistance begins to act as support, it often offers both volatility and structure.

👉 Key levels to watch for WELL

• $174

• $150

• $135

Public Storage (PSA)

World’s largest self-storage REIT, focused on self-service storage facilities primarily across the U.S. The business is simple and scalable: short-term leases, lower fixed costs, and fast pricing flexibility. Demand is supported by life events (relocations, divorces, inheritances), which is why the sector has historically been more cycle-resilient than office or retail real estate.

The dividend is stable and well covered, with a moderate yield; the focus is on cash-flow strength and balance-sheet quality rather than maximum yield. The stock often trades at a quality premium, which means timing and technical structure matter a lot on entry.

📊 Technical view:

Technically, PSA is one of those large names that simply drifts lower… and keeps drifting. Rates fall, PSA falls 🙂

From a technical standpoint, I can align the key criteria fairly compactly into the $200–245 range, where the setup would be technically valid for me. From current price levels the picture isn’t terrible, but the strongest zone clearly sits inside the box marked below.

Criteria inside that zone:

• Channel projection based on closing prices

• Equal waves based on closing prices (line-chart logic)

• Previous highs

• 200-month moving average

• Round number $200

• Trendline / trendline zone (drawn both wick-to-wick and body-to-body)

👉 Technical zone: $200–245

Ventas (VTR)

Ventas is a large, long-established healthcare REIT with a portfolio focused primarily on senior housing, medical office buildings, and other healthcare-related real estate assets. Like other healthcare REITs, its business is supported by the same structural demographic tailwind: populations are aging, and demand for healthcare services continues to grow over time, largely independent of economic cycles.

📊 Technical view:

This is a good example of how REITs behave as a sector, and why selectivity matters here.

One REIT is printing all-time lows, while another is pushing all-time highs.

Ventas recently broke above a price level that had acted as resistance for nearly 13 years. This wasn’t a level that failed once or twice. There were eight clear rejection attempts, and only the ninth attempt finally produced a breakout.

From a technical standpoint, the picture is clean.

• Strength has been demonstrated, the breakout is in place, and the monthly close above resistance provides confirmation.

• Price is now much closer to a retest than it was earlier in the month, and momentum continues to support further upside.

SEGRO (LSE: SGRO)

SEGRO is a large UK-based industrial and logistics REIT that owns, develops, and manages modern warehouse and industrial assets across several major European markets. Its core footprint includes the UK, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Poland, serving both large logistics and transportation companies as well as a broad range of industrial tenants.

The portfolio is well diversified, spanning big-box logistics facilities and urban, last-mile warehouses located near major transport hubs and densely populated areas. The dividend is attractive (around 4%+), and investor interest has been supported by structurally rising demand for strategic logistics real estate, alongside optional upside from data-center integrations or asset conversions. SEGRO is listed on both the London Stock Exchange and Euronext Paris, and is widely regarded as one of Europe’s leading industrial REITs.

📊 Technical view

This is also a breakout-type setup, but at the moment price is sitting in the middle of the field, right at a highly sensitive price level. Historical price action shows that something always tends to happen here. This level has proven important mainly because of large, decisive breakouts in the past (highlighted by the yellow circles).

Recently, I saw an interesting data snapshot.

It summarised Q3 2025 stock purchases and sales by large institutional funds and well-known professional investors - let’s say gurus - based on publicly available filings and disclosures.

In other words, this was not an opinion. It showed where real capital actually moved…

At the request of one of my followers, I decided to take a closer look at that list.

Not to copy it blindly, but to ask a very practical question:

What immediately stood out was how familiar many of the names were. That alone was not surprising. If anything, it reinforced a simple idea I have repeated many times before.

Technical analysis tends to guide many investors toward the same price zones.

Not because of magic, but because simple factors matter. Strong price levels, volatility, liquidity and clear structure naturally attract attention where participation is highest.

🧩 This list can also be viewed as a rough fundamental filter.
At least seven different funds were buyers, while selling activity remained limited. Clearly, nothing on this list looks fundamentally broken.

But that alone is not enough.

I have shown many times on this channel that even stocks held by Warren Buffett still require clear technical confirmation to move higher.

For example, CHTR - held by Buffett… “Wait for a breakout” - back in February. Without that confirmation, the price often stalls. In worse cases, it starts to fall…

A famous name alone does not move a stock - that is why I did not copy this list blindly.

Instead, I selected 8 stocks where the technical picture today offers either:

• realistic opportunity

• or very clear “wait and be patient” scenarios

🔍 Let’s go.

Sonos (NASDAQ: SONO)

Sonos is a premium home audio company, focused on high-quality hardware and a closed ecosystem.

In the most recent quarter, seven tracked professional investors opened or increased positions, while only one reduced exposure. Interest is clearly there.

But the real question is simple:
How do you actually get on the train?

Technical picture

Over the past three years, Sonos has built a very strong price level around $20.

This level has been tested multiple times, and momentum has recently started to improve. On the surface, everything looks constructive.

But this is also a perfect real-life example of what I repeatedly emphasise in my trainings…

• It does not matter if there are ten times more analysts on the buy side.

• It does not matter how strong the sentiment looks.

When the price history has defined a clear and heavy resistance level, it makes little sense to act before that level is properly broken.

From a technically disciplined perspective, the correct approach is to wait for a monthly close above $20, ideally a strong close above $22.5.

Only then would the stock be technically ready.
⚙️ And “technically ready” means one thing: capital starts working efficiently

📈 A monthly close above $22.5 would mean:

• The major price level has been broken
• Professional investors are already positioning
• The technical structure is clean and confirmed

Until then, patience is not a weakness. It is the strategy…

SAP SE (XETR: SAP)

SAP is a global enterprise software company whose business model is built around mission-critical processes for large organisations. These include finance, logistics, human resources and data management.

This is a classic institutional stock. Large clients. Long-term contracts. Recurring revenue. The kind of business funds typically favoured when stability matters.

In the most recent quarter, Q3 2025, eleven tracked professional investors opened or increased positions in SAP, while there were no sellers. That tells us the interest is not speculative. It is driven by a combination of quality and visible cash flows.

This is not “the next big story”.
It is a mature, stable business that gets added to portfolios when the goal is to keep risk under control.

Interest is clearly there.
⏱️ Now the only real question is timing.

Technical picture

And to be honest, the timing is not bad at all.

You could even say that today the stock is available at a meaningfully better price than what we saw in the Q3 reports.

The price has moved below those reported buying levels and into a technically correct zone:

That area included:

• the round $200 level

• channel projection

• equal waves

• a previous minor top and pause after a sharp rally in the Q2 2024

• the weekly EMA200 moving average

To fund managers, following these criteria would have highlighted a strong and optimal zone between $180 and $207. With billions in capital, that is a zone where patience could have been rewarded with slightly smarter execution 😄

Yeah-yeah…. I’m the “smart” one here ;)

Broadcom (AVGO)

Broadcom is a global semiconductor and infrastructure software company, closely tied to data centres, networking and large-scale enterprise IT systems. Its portfolio focuses on critical components and services rather than consumer-facing products.

Unlike several other names in this list, Broadcom did not appear prominently in recent “guru buy-count” tables. That does not mean there is no interest. It simply means the demand is not coming from a small group of active fund managers.

Instead, Broadcom shows up consistently in broad 13F filings, where AVGO appears as a stable core holding in large portfolios rather than a short-term tactical idea.

Fundamentally, Broadcom stands out for its strong cash flow and high profitability.
📊 But let’s see what the chart says…

Technical picture

The first technical “steps”, or pause zones, from the previous advance are located roughly between $290 and $315, with $300 as the central area.

This zone includes:

• a minor pause during the prior rally

• the short-term Fibonacci 38.2% retracement

A second, stronger zone sits lower, between $220 and $260.

Here we find:

• prior highs

• the short-term Fibonacci 61.8%

• the long-term Fibonacci 38.2%

From a technical perspective, there is still room for one more deeper move.
But yeah, in general, this is exactly what makes Broadcom a high-quality stock:

If the price falls, it does not immediately fall apart.

Below the current price, there are multiple strong support areas:

• where long-term believers can average in if needed

• and where more sceptical investors can calmly reassess the fundamentals and decide whether to:

  • add exposure

  • or reduce the position

Support levels are not just lines on a chart.
🧠 They are decision points…

Now, I will leave the third and final move to you.

There is one more price zone on the chart, and it is actually the strongest one of all. Multiple technical criteria converge there, and no, I will not give it away here.

November was an interesting month for retail investors.

• Some people crush it.

• Some get crushed.

• Some buy strength.

• Some catch falling knives.

And some… somehow manage to do all of the above in the same month.😆

This time, I had a very practical dataset to work with.

🏦 Both major Estonian banks publish monthly statistics on which stocks local investors bought and sold the most.

So instead of pointing fingers, I decided to turn this into a “technical exam.”

Not an exam about which stocks people bought, but how they bought them.
This is an exam about:

• behaviour

• timing

• momentum

• buying into resistance

• ignoring weekly closes

• assuming breakouts that never happened

🌍 Patterns that repeat in every market… the US, Europe, Asia - don’t matter.

Alright, class… take your seats.

I took some real November purchases from retail investors and graded them:

• What was technically strong

• What was risky

• What was flat-out wrong

• Why the chart told the truth long before the trade went wrong.

Super Micro Computer (SMCI)

If you started buying in early November, it’s quite clear that a mistake was made.
You could have done better…
You could have avoided the drawdown that’s now staring at you…👀

The key technical level was 50–56.
This zone has acted as resistance for a year and a half, and the stock has been smacked down from it multiple times.

So yes, if you bought before a confirmed breakout, I’m giving you a gentle slap on the wrist.

I’ve repeated this many times:

Let the price show its strength. Don’t guess!

And as you can see… that breakout never came. 👇
Price rolled over instead.

Purchases made toward the end of the month were somewhat more justified, but technically the setup still wasn’t exciting.

I recently shared an SMCI roadmap with different scenarios, and to be honest, there are better opportunities in the market. This sideways drifting… the repeated sharp sell-offs every time price approaches 50–60… none of it inspires confidence.

If you’re a fundamental believer, then buying near current support isn’t necessarily “wrong,” but technically it’s still just… meh.

📊 Grades

• Early-November purchases: 2

• Late-November purchases: 3

Tesla (TSLA)

Tesla appeared on both of the lists — most bought and most sold — and honestly, that’s completely understandable.

Plenty of investors took profits.
Plenty cut losses from earlier entries.
Markets were shaky in mid-November, so I can’t fault anyone for adjusting their exposure.

But from a technical perspective, Tesla has been one of my favourite breakout examples since October.

The key zone was $350–$410, tested multiple times.
September finally delivered a clean breakout, price dipped into the box once, confirmed support… and then took off.

The November trades in Tesla were generally technically correct.

CoreWeave (CRVW)

This one has a short trading history, but the lesson is almost identical to SMCI:

If you bought in early November… I’m reaching for a soft object to:

Fortunately, I’m not saying this with hindsight.
One of my readers actually asked me at that exact time (late October / early November) what to do with CRVW

My answer was serious:
Personally, I would wait.

👆 With such a limited history, only one strong technical level existed: A weekly close above the round number $150. That was the only structure the chart could offer.

It didn’t break.
It fell.
And that created a better entry opportunity lower.

End-of-month purchases were much more reasonable.

I have my own little box around what I call the “best price for you, my friend,” but even if you didn’t catch the absolute low, the structure wasn’t bad. With minimal historical data to work with, you did fine.

Let’s start with the month itself…

November was a turbulent month in the markets.
Some days showed real strength, some days hesitated, and a few charts looked like they desperately needed a long weekend 😅.

On my side, the month included a few mentoring sessions and technical-analysis trainings. One of them was at the University of Tartu…

…where the introduction began with a line I didn’t expect:

“We invited back the speaker who received the most positive feedback last season.”

Sold! Small aww-moment, and off we went. 😊

But… everything was normal until the very end.
Suddenly, the organiser quietly shows me their laptop:

“Officially, the room closes at 8:30PM”

I ask, a bit louder:
“Are we being kicked out? How hard is that 8:30 stop?”

Reply:
“Not that hard… it’s just that the cleaner might walk in.”

And from the back row someone goes:

🗣️ “Let them come, they’ll probably stay and listen. Keep going!”

You know, like… you can’t script moments like that. They just happen. 🤣

On to the Charts 📈

Enough storytelling, time to dive into the setups.

At the start of every month, I focus primarily on breakout trades, because the monthly close is one of the most important confirmation points.
At the same time, I’ve mapped out several correction-phase stocks — names waiting for their “right moment.”

The beginning of the month is simply the best time to evaluate how much real strength November actually produced.

What I scanned 🔍

I went through:

• ~700 of Europe’s largest market-cap companies

• The entire S&P 500

• The Nasdaq 100

• Plus all the stocks I’ve been tracking in this channel

The selection was strict.
Several familiar names didn’t make the cut this time, but 50 companies passed the filter.

To keep things readable and to avoid overheating your mental processor, I’ve chosen 19 charts from that larger pool.
Fifty charts in a single sitting is hardly the ideal appetizer.

👉 And yes, I’ve also included my index preference for the month.

Let’s get started.
As always, we begin with the breakout setups. 🚀

Eli Lilly & Co (LLY)

One of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, best known for its diabetes and anti-obesity drugs (Mounjaro and Zepbound). A dominant leader in the U.S. healthcare sector.

Recent news:
At the end of November, Eli Lilly became the first pharmaceutical company in history to cross the $1 trillion market-cap mark — driven by explosive demand for GLP-1 obesity and diabetes treatments.

📈 Technical picture:
November was one of LLY’s strongest months in recent years. The stock finally broke through price levels it had been testing for more than a year.

The $900–$1000 range gave way in one clean move, and technically the stock has shown clear strength ever since.

✅ From a technical standpoint, the current zone still makes complete sense. The price hasn’t moved far from the breakout.
Whether you wait for a retest or enter as-is depends entirely on your plan.

Vestas Wind Systems (VWS)

One of Europe’s largest wind turbine manufacturers and a major provider of renewable-energy solutions. Vestas produces both onshore and offshore turbines and operates one of the world’s largest wind-farm service portfolios.

Recent news:
At the end of November, Vestas reported margin improvements that beat expectations and confirmed that turbine orders for 2026 are recovering. This new wave of orders increases visibility and supports further margin strength.

📈 Technical picture:
A breakout doesn’t always happen at a clean, obvious top.
Often it occurs in the middle of the chart, right where a sensitive price level has formed.

For Vestas, that level is clearly visible.
It’s that “grey zone” on the chart where something has always happened: a level that has acted as both support and resistance, making it a psychologically strong area.

The stock has now broken through that level, which means former resistance is behaving exactly as it should… as support.
Technically the picture is clean and logical: the difficult part is behind us, and the zone is functioning the way a proper breakout zone should.

The world’s most influential index is about to get new members, and sharp investors could be looking at a serious bonus. 📈

The S&P 500, often treated as the perfect synonym for the entire U.S. stock market, is preparing for its next rebalance. And every time this happens…

…Wall Street starts whispering the same question: who’s getting added next?

Those whispers spread fast.
And when they do, investor attention, and money, starts to shift.

One example from recent years is Tesla.
Back in 2020, Tesla’s stock jumped more than 60% from the day before its addition was announced until the day it officially joined the index.

This is the kind of move a simple “candidate status” can trigger.

The S&P 500 is the NBA of companies

You don’t just sign up for the list - you get selected.
It’s like a draft: some names get picked right away, some have to push for years.

But there are rules.
The S&P committee wants to see:

• at least a year of trading history

• several profitable quarters

• solid liquidity

• and a real business that actually works - not just a promise that “one day it will, trust me”

👉 Now to the important part

Lists are fun, rankings are fun… but the real story is this:

Even being a “candidate” is enough to attract attention. Money starts moving.

That’s exactly why I’m looking at these stocks today.
Not to predict who will actually get in, but because the movement itself impacts the market!

This is why S&P 500 candidates are worth watching.
Not because of the final selection, but because inside that group, there are always companies whose charts “speak”… and I try to translate that movement for you.

⚠️ Of course, sometimes something gets lost in translation, that happens.
You just balance it out on your side with the fundamental story. Deal?!

Pure Storage (PSTG)

What they do:
Pure Storage builds high-speed all-flash data storage solutions for enterprises and cloud providers. In simple terms, they help companies store and process their data faster and more efficiently.

Why some believe it could enter the S&P 500:
The company’s market cap has grown close to large-cap territory, its growth trend is strong, and several analysts have called it a realistic candidate that could move from the mid-cap index into the S&P 500 in the near future.

Key fundamental points:

• Market cap around 27 billion USD – a size that fits well with the S&P 500 profile.

• Very fast revenue growth – about 50 to 60 percent year over year, which is strong even in today’s tech sector.

• Profitability moving in the right direction – margins are still being built, but improving year by year.

• Low debt and a solid balance sheet – lower risk compared to many other growth companies.

• Cloud and AI data demand boom is working in their favor – the larger the data volume, the more flash storage is needed.

📈 Technical picture

So… here is the thing, what do I say to you all the time:

“When a stock reaches a major psychological number for the first time, like 100 dollars, it is often a good place to consider taking profits.”

PSTG is a perfect example. The correction started exactly at 100 dollars.

Right now, the price is in the middle of nowhere, and technically it is worth watching the stock again only when the correction reaches the 57 to 74 dollar area.

That area combines previous multi-year highs and the Fibonacci 38% retracement. The 38 percent level is especially effective for stocks with a strong trend and overall healthy sentiment, just like PSTG.

👀 Watch 57 to 75 dollars. Technically correct.

Hello, partners! 🙌

As you’ve probably noticed, the market has been a bit shaky lately, not just for a week or two, but for the entire past month.

Two-sided volatility has clearly made a comeback.

🔍 So, I decided to take a closer look at some of the most popular U.S. stocks:

• The whole “Magnificent Seven” crew,

• Some Rare Earth Metals stocks

• Quantum Computing plays

• Rocket Lab, AMD, Palantir, and a few others.

This time, I’ve mapped out the key price zones for each and outlined a few possible scenarios — areas where, in my view, it makes the most sense for long-term investors to act or prepare to act.

💡 All the zones I’ll show here are meant for medium- and long-term investors!
Because yes, reading charts and understanding price behavior really can make a measurable difference in your portfolio’s returns.

🗯️ There’s plenty to cover… so let’s dive right in.

1. Apple (AAPL)

• Thinking of becoming a shareholder today? Probably not, technically, there are better entry points ahead.

• Thinking of adding to your position? Again, probably not, better zones are still below current levels.

• Thinking it might be time to take a bit of profit? Actually, yes… one of the few valid technical criteria for that, if the price trades near all-time highs, is the channel pattern, which currently suggests the stock could face a mild correction.

The strongest support zones where it might make sense to act are around $248 and $200.
Will the price get there? Nobody knows. But those are the only levels where I’d personally start paying real attention, because technically, there would be a clear reason to do so.

2. Nvidia (NVDA)

From a technical perspective, both an initial entry and an add-on position would make sense if the stock retraces to the $140–$160 range.
That’s where previous trading activity sits, liquidity tends to return, and where many investors who took profits near $200 might step back in.

As I’ve often mentioned in my commentary, for some reason, the U.S. market loves to “release pressure” near round levels like $200.
When I studied the Swedish market earlier this year, its “magic number” seemed to be 500. Every market has its own rhythm. 😉

For long-term investors, this might look like over-management, but if corrections make you uncomfortable, it can be smart to trim part of your position and wait for clearer setups. Possible next steps:

• $140–$160 zone: watch for potential re-entry if the price stabilizes there.

• Or, wait for renewed strength and confirmation that $200 was just a small pause, not a ceiling.

Personally, I doubt $200 is just a random number (the stock is already down about –10% from the highs).
Historically, both $100 and $150 acted as strong resistance:
– At $50, the correction was roughly -20%
– At $100, the correction was –23%.
– At $150, it was about –43%.
– Currently $200, -15% atm. max reach.

Either way, let the price do the talking. No rush.
If it dips into the lower zone: technically solid.
If it breaks above $200 with strength: also technically fine.

💡 The key is to make every move intentional — so your capital is always working as efficiently as possible.

3. Microsoft (MSFT)

Historically, Microsoft’s round numbers have behaved in an interesting way — the price often pulls back just before reaching them.
That happened last year near $500, when the stock paused and slipped back from around $450.

However, those round levels themselves haven’t acted as strong resistance over the long run.

💡 It’s always worth looking back to see how a stock has reacted to levels like $50, $100, $150, or $200 — these are psychologically important milestones the market tends to respect.

But in Microsoft’s case, the pattern has usually been the “opposite”: the stock breaks through those levels with appetite, and once it does, they turn into reliable support zones — like stair steps that price briefly rests on before climbing higher (as the green arrows show on the chart).

Metaphors aside, that’s exactly what’s happening now.
MSFT has just broken above $500 and is now coming back to retest it.
This area, roughly $440–$500, is technically reasonable for both initial entries and add-ons.

I would only consider trimming the position here for fundamental reasons, not technical ones.

No need for a long introduction here. When a member of the Magnificent Seven delivers a clean breakout, it’s a signal you don’t want to ignore.

For those who regularly add to their Mag7 holdings or rotate between them monthly, Amazon would be my pick this time.
While META’s recent correction isn’t a bad zone either, technically speaking, AMZN shows the stronger setup right now.

Dell Technologies (DELL)

Dell Technologies is one of the largest IT companies in the U.S., providing computers, servers, and cloud infrastructure solutions.
Over recent quarters, Dell has gained solid momentum — especially from AI server demand, which helped lift margins thanks to its higher-value infrastructure products.
Revenue also came in above expectations in the latest report, boosting investor confidence and pushing the stock to new highs.

📈 From a technical perspective, the breakout is clear:

The $150 resistance, which had held for almost a year and a half, finally gave way in October.
The structure is now open to the upside, and the chart shows clear strength.

The decision is simple: enter now, wait for a retest, or just keep it on your radar — your call.

Nokia (OMXHEX: NOKIA)

A few weeks ago, I mentioned that Nokia was setting up for a potential breakout — and look at that, it actually did.

The company announced a collaboration with NVIDIA, which triggered the long-awaited move higher, breaking through its previous resistance zone.
The €5.5 level mentioned earlier is now history, and the monthly close above it confirms the breakout’s validity.

Whether you enter immediately, wait for a retest, or skip it because it doesn’t fit your style — again, your call. Technically valid!

Steel Dynamics (STLD)

Steel Dynamics ranks among the largest steel producers in the U.S., known for using recycled steel and low-emission production methods.
With a P/E of 20 (forward ~12), the company benefits from U.S. infrastructure investments and the broader manufacturing uptrend.
Recent quarterly results have been steady, the balance sheet is strong, and cash flow remains solid, supporting potential future growth.

📈 Technical setup:
