Venus shifts from Virgo to Libra in the wee hours on Thursday, September 3rd (4:40 am PT.) That last degree of Virgo has been felt pretty crunchy for me as I process all that I have let go of in this cycle, synthesize what I’ve learned and stay open in the possibilities for the next chapter. How about you? Have you been feeling the Virgo urge to refine your life, especially on the other side of that electric eclipse? We are now coming into the final months of this Pisces cycle, which is all about letting go and deepening faith as we move through the chaos of this change of ages.

We are leaving nearly five weeks of Venus in Virgo, not her most easeful placement, where we we asked to refine ourselves before we meet Other. We at the tail end of this Pisces cycle that began March 22nd, 2025. Venus in Virgo activated the Virgo-Pisces axis and may have showed us how the shape of our service to the world has changed as this epic cycle closes. Virgo loves detail and often finds the holy in the ordinary. Venus in Virgo is a quest to know herself as whole, without the definitions that come from partnership. Her archetype is the healer, holy woman who chooses celibacy, and the medicine women who knows the healing power of plant allies.

Venus in Virgo’s greatest super power is devotion expressed through helping in practical ways. The negative aspect of Venus in Virgo is the influence of the mind here that can orient towards being overly critical towards oneself and others. In Virgo, we are working with the consciousness of self-growth, preparing ourselves to meet the sacred other in the next sign of Libra. Here, we benefit from practicing the art of perfecting as a verb, rather than the perfectionism as a noun. Venus is showing us the potential for flow and self-love in a sign that can get bound up with pressure and the constraint of it not being “good enough.”

When Venus was in Virgo we may have had the urge to clean up our lives and bodies, to organize, to let go of what no longer fits. In our Venus Sisters group, we began setting up our space and routines to support us to sync with Venus together on this 3 months journey. Venus in Libra is a totally different story. After the process of refining ourselves, we enter the arena of relationship. The key question is, “Can I continue to hold and tend to myself and my needs in the face of the powerful desire to care for another?” The Venusian tendency to care for other more than self is strong here. The metal copper is associated with Venus. This tendency can look like bending and bending and bending to accommodate another until we snap, just like a copper wire.

This first taste of Libra is important in the larger scope of our heroine’s journey. We are in the culmination of this Pisces cycle that began in March, 2025 and entering a new cycle in Libra on October 23, 2026. In the Venus Wisdom way of working with the energies of the larger Venus Star cycle, the sign and the phase, the sign that Venus is in expresses both the gifts and the shadow, whereas the Venus Star energy expresses only the purest energy of the sign.

I would go as far as to propose that there is no purer expression of a sign energy than at the point when Venus and the Sun meet closest to the earth at the beginning of the cycle. The Sun is our world’s center of light, warmth and energy. Venus is love, connection, care and the sensual experience of having bodies and being alive on this earth. The degree and sign where they meet is the golden seed theme that holds the theme of the entire next cycle.

Our experience of Venus moving through Libra at the end of a Venus in Pisces cycle will be different than our experience of Venus moving through Libra once she moves into her Venus in Libra cycle when Venus meets the Sun at 05˚Libra on October 23rd at 8:44 pm Pacific Time. It would be wise to locate that point in your own natal chart to see what house this activates and if any other planets are involved. (Reminder: I have moved to Sidereal Zodiac and am using Lahiri Equal House.)

Once you know which sign is the container of the entire cycle, you can track the difference between your experience of Venus in Libra now in a Venus in Pisces cycle - Mutable Water Holding Initiating Air and how it feels after Venus starts a new cycle in Libra - Initiating Air Holding Initiating Air. Paying attention to those differences is how w bring the astrological concepts from our head into our embodied experience.

In this cycle we may have purged deeply, found pockets of confusion, uncovered energies that are not our own, seen where we have deluded ourselves, discovered another level of spiritual naivete. Self compassion is the greatest jewel of this cycle. Hopefully we have cultivated deeper faith in the mystery, in the original Creator that is the frequency of love and confidence in our own ability to trust a larger force of benevolence. Because we are moving through the sludge of the end of the Pisces age, these waters are murkier that ever. This next cycle will be more airy, objective, mental and based on equal exchange that is conscious, as opposed to wrestling with forces of the collective unconscious.

We are still moving through the end of the Age of Pisces for some time yet Venus will gift us some needed perspective that helps us sync with the energy of the new age - Aquarius. Libra and Aquarius are both air signs and bring clarity. In Libra through understanding the experience of another and in Aquarius in understanding the much longer and vaster cosmic view.

As I’ve said many times Venus in her cycle with the Sun is the golden key to the Age of Aquarius. If we want to co-create a new paradigm, regenerative culture of care, we need to embody our own Venus wisdom and draw upon her realm of care, appreciation, equality in relationships, shared valued, win-win solutions and weaving beauty and the arts into the battle for organic life and to restore balance in this fallen realm. Venus in Libra is the peace keeper, the lover of truth and beauty, the art of equal relating, the power of grace under pressure. She is continuously learning about herself through partnerships.

Venus rules Libra, which is a Cardinal, air sign, so she is strong here. Libra initiates equilibrium and shows us where we are out of balance. Libra sits at the midpoint of the journey through the 12 signs and physically is connected to center of our bodies, and the organs that are continuously working and adjusting to keep us healthy.

In medical astrology, Venus in her connection to Libra “governs the regulating, balancing, homeostatic processes: the kidneys, the hormones, the skin, and the body's capacity to maintain equilibrium across multiple systems simultaneously.” according to medical astrologers, Barefoot Healers. A well places Venus in our charts often shows up as clear skin, balanced hormones, good kidney function and a body that adapts well to stress in our environment.

Libra shows us how balance works at the physiological level. Our bodies are an electrochemical system and electrolytes are the “current” that runs our system. The kidneys maintain electrolyte balance through filtering the blood of substances that are not needed, uses reabsorption to return needed electrolytes like calcium and sodium to the bloodstream and actively moving waste into the urine.

When Venus is struggling, our ability to regulate suffers. The kidneys can then struggle with balancing fluid which can lead to water retention, urinary tract issues and blood pressure challenges. The skin, our largest organ that reflects how balanced we are inside, can dry out and/or breakout. Hormones can become disrupted and our low back can seize up from tension when when our homeostatis is disrupted.

If we forget to care for ourselves in relationships, sacrifice our own needs, take on conflict and more than our share of responsibility for harmony, we will tax the functions of our body ruled by Venus. If you have your Ascendent, Sun, Moon, Venus or Venus Cycle in Libra you may be more prone to this pattern and relate to that copper wire over accommodating too many times before snapping. If you have persistent issues with urinary tract infections, sore kidneys or stones, low back pain, skin issues or other signs of hormonal balance, the Venus principle may be out of balance in your body.

Personally I find this physical connection to Venus particularly relevant. I entered menopause with adrenal fatigue and high levels of cortisol after 20 years of excessive stress from a contentious co-parenting situation, as well as the struggle of being a single mom. Once my sex hormones dropped, the excess cortisol in my system became obvious and my body quickly declined in ways I could not have imagined. Cortisol makes all the symptoms of perimenopause worse - hot flashes, sleep disruption, weight gain, brain fog, mood, bone loss and cardiovascular function decline. I want to implore women entering perimenopause to tend to these imbalances sooner rather than later. Perhaps that is why I am inspired to connect this upcoming Venus in Libra cycle to women’s health.

I find it fascinating that the adrenals are co-ruled by Mars and Venus. This organ pair sits on top of the kidneys and regulate metabolism, blood pressure, stress response and immune function. When our Libra function is overfunctioning in relationships - smiling through the conflict, taking other’s needs more seriously than our own, being polite instead of honest, fawning when we relate to someone in a position of authority, and all of our “nice girl” behaviors that are installed as default programming of most women, we create a self-harming pattern that little by little erodes our health and vitality. Where are you still saying “yes” when you really feel “no”? That “no” is the fire of our Mars, our sacred self-centeredness, that can support us to set those boundaries.

So, how can we hold ourselves and our needs in intimate relationship with another? Venus is in the Evening Star phase of her journey and this is exactly what we are asked to do now. In the Morning Star we discover more of the truth of who we are, beneath our conditioning, and connect with our core values. In the Underworld we deepen into our heart’s and strengthen our connection to God/Source/Great Spirit/The Mystery. In Evening Star we are invited to mature in our relations so that we know ourselves and our connection to spirit is guiding our lives. We stop chasing other people and develop relationships with kindred spirits who share our values and honor our gifts.

One simple action we can take while Venus is in Libra and for this entire 19 month cycle is to tend to our hormonal health, hydration, better support our kidneys and set necessary boundaries in our lives. No matter our Venus placement I imagine most of us can benefit from tending to these areas in this season and into this next cycle. Venus will shift back into Virgo early in our next Venus in Libra cycle due to her retrograde.

We are now moving into the fall season in the Northern Hemisphere and the time when the “air” element can become out of balance as the winds increase and the cold weather replaces the warmth of summer. Here in Mount Shasta we went from 80-90˚ degree days to sudden drop to a high of only 60˚today with rain on the way. I think this kind of early change is unusual but it’s like September turned on a switch. It’s already dry here due to elevation and especially in the high desert where I live north of Mount Shasta. I’ve been focusing on hydration for some time.

Ancient and indigenous traditions look to harmonize with the place where we live for optimum health. The change of season is an optimum time for cleansing. As the weather cools in many places, the dryness of summer peaks and we move towards the last harvest, it is recommended in both Chinese and Indian traditional medicine to increase hydration, drink warm teas and eat nourishing foods. Minerals, especially sodium, potassium, magnesium help our bodies to absorb the water we drink and makes our “water wetter.” If we don’t have enough minerals or we are only drinking water that is filtered and stripped, we may experience drinking a lot of water, having it pass right through and still being thirsty. Here are my top tips for hydration currently. I am not a physician and this is not medical advice.

Solé water or brine is a variation on an Ayurvedic traditional practice of drinking water with salt for greater mineralization popularized by Dr. Barbara Hendel and Peter Ferreira in their book Water and Salt: The Essence of Life that came out in 2003. I would advise you to be very careful with what kind of salt that you use. I’ve recently seen test that show that Himalayan Pink Salt, once considered the purest, contains high levels of lead. Redmonds Real Salt contains high levels of lead, and aluminum. Here’s one video from Dr. Paul Saladino comparing popular salts. Solé Water Recipe
* Quart jar with plastic or non-metal lid
* High quality unrefined salt.
* Filtered or spring water

Directions:
1. Fill about 1/4 of the jar with the salt.
2. Add water until jar is nearly full.
3. Let it sit for 12-24 hours. If the salt dissolves completely, add a bit more.
4. Store at room temperature.

Add 1/2 to 1 tsp of the solé to a 8-12 ounces glass of water and drink first thing, before caffeinated or any other drinks. Adjust to taste.

The other support that I am bringing back in is taking nettles tea daily. I need to find a good source of the dry herb, here. Fresh is even better if you have access. 1 ounce of the herb in a quart jar, fill it with boiling water and let it steep for 4-10 hours makes a medicinal herbal infusion. Nettles is the most mineral rich tea I know of with calcium, magnesium and iron. I always feel stronger when I drink it. I like to mix it with Red Raspberry leaf tea in the same quart jar, which contains iron, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus.

Another incredible plant ally is Dandelion tea. The leaf is full of calcium, phosphorus, iron, sodium and potassium. It’s quite bitter so I wouldn’t mix it with the others but have it separately or rotate the two options. The root is revered for having anti-cancer properties. I will be incorporating these plant medicines into my daily routine.

I suppose I’m feeling the last dance of Venus in Virgo with all of these detailed health information coming through in this article. Last night the New Venus Portal opened with the first appearance of crescent new moon with Venus. Tonight the Moon and Venus appear together parallel in the sky after sunset. See the image I just took below. They are meeting near Regulus, one of the Royal Stars and considered the Watcher of the North. This star inspires us to claim our sovereignty.

The monthly portals are a time for us to come into stillness and feel what is alive and ready to be received by your deeper self. Perhaps that stillness turns into movement, sound or writing. I like to make a wild and true heart wish at this moment in the cycle.

The 19 month Venus cycle instructs on the ancient mysteries of initiation that flow through birth, death and rebirth. The Moon represents our conditioning and programming and especially our family patterns that were passed down to us.

Venus in her cycle with the Sun represents our feminine nature that fully present in the now. When they meet we are watching a choice point that will effect the next chapter of your story.

Will you choose your history, your past, and the emotional reaction that is created when thought form meets unconscious memory? Or, will you choose to be guided by your spirit, your unique spark of divinity that is alive and remembering beneath the identities you learned to wear like masks?

Venus and the Moon meet in the 5th sign of Leo, the Lioness ruled by the Sun and connected to the heart. Leo is fixed fire, an invitation to shine from our center, encouraging creative expression, sharing passion, telling our stories and fanning the flame of our desires for a world that honors art and beauty.

Venus’s invitation to sync with her original feminine energy is supporting us to remember our ability to bring forth not only children but worlds. Venus shifted into the sign of Leo on July 5th. Leo is the sign of fixed fire connected to creativity, performing and associated with being “on stage.” Leo is ruled by the Sun and connected to the lion and royalty. With Venus here the lioness and the archetype of the Queen come to mind.

She will be moving through Leo until August 1st, inspiring us to connect with our impulse to play, to express ourselves creativity, to open to eros held in love and connection. To actively love ourselves and honor our younger self.

Venus started her 19 month cycle in Pisces on March 22, 2025 and the theme of this entire journey is completion, letting go, forgiveness and trust in the mystery. We are moving through the last part of the Age of Pisces and can draw upon the inspiring qualities of Venus as the world we once knew dissolves beneath our feet.

Venus in Leo is shining bright as Evening Star in the west after dark and will be meeting us with Regulus, the fixed star that is the “heart of the Lion” in the next few days. Receiving her light in our eyes help us remember who we truly are and how to elevate our hearts as the Queens of our inner sanctum.

Venus in Leo shows us how to generate pure love through our hearts. She teaches us how to expand and open to that effervescent, warm feeling of at the center of our chest. She reminds us of the joy of a child absorbed in play.

When we learn to generate radiance from that place, that warmth can touch all the broken places and timelines where we were rejected, neglected, and abused and fuse our broken hearts back together. We can love ourselves whole again from within. This is the original meaning of the word holy. This is the remembrance of how we resurrect before we die.

As genuine, heart-centered women awaken to the terrible truths of this realm and cultivate our wisdom in the face of the evil revealed in these apocalyptic times, we become true heroines. Our presence here and our wisdom is the antidote to the poison as we move through the climax of rule by demonic forces on this planet.

We know that we are here to birth a new, regenerative culture - one that echoes the lost paradise of original Earth, the reality that we remember in our bones. Our gifts have been forged and tested in the Underworld - initiation fraught with interferences, attacks, betrayals and relentless obstacles. The conditions that were meant to stop our forward progress and prevent us from realizing the original, diamond-light wisdom of our feminine essence became the crucible that activates our latent alchemical powers.

We are figuring out that satanic, anti-life, woman-hating beings have cleverly manipulated this reality through distortions the original organic life templates of the Feminine. We are seeing how this inverted, false overlay was built on extracting and destroying feminine creative energy and torturing innocence. Their upside down pentagram indicates the opposite of the Venusian values of love, care and protection.

The recent Epstein files and the disclosures in movies like “Monsters, inc.” and many more illustrate the crux of what is going on here. I recently wrote that the first revelation of the Underworld is that we are living in a hell realm. Until we recognize the poison we will not know how to find and become the medicine.

We recognize how that the “malevolents” designed ways inspire “males violence” and join their war against women. They’ve turned men against women, women against themselves and women against each other. The scaffolding in this hell is a deep seated hatred of the mother for her ability to love and her ability to birth, both children and worlds.

They’ve counted on successfully infecting the hearts of humans who are innately good and have sustained this quality despite ages of intense genetic modification. They’ve preyed upon the wombs, hearts and souls of the true humans so that we will destroy ourselves. They love dismemberment.

In their sick program we first tear ourselves apart through judgement, self-hatred, sabotage, comparison and competition. We loop in shame, blame and guilt due to the [aom we sustained as innocent children. This trauma based control programming causes us to uphold the inverted control system within ourselves and police others who step out of line. Covid showed us how successful that programming was as we witness neighbors report on each other and families broken apart.

Plans for the greater enslavement of humanity go way back and are more entrenched than the Flower Children of the 60’s could have imagined. Yet the Golden Age is upon us, unfurling slowly yet definitively and calling us to become warriors of the good as the Dark Age of the Kali Yuga expires.

Feminine wisdom is arising in initiated women, many of whom are now elders, some are the children of the Flower Children who broke away from status quo constraints of the Baby Boomer generation. More of us are catching on to this game of chicken as the old order dies and the golden age has not yet dawned.

We see how they are trying to leverage that gap to their gain through scaring us into accepting their nefarious plans and creating their twisted reality. They need the feminine to create anything. And that pisses them off greatly .

Even as it seems we have run out of time and every attempt to fundamentally change culture has failed, our hearts guide us to continue to make a bid for spiritual liberation and find our ability to re-dream the world. (This has nothing to do with New Age manifestation techniques.)

Our wild card in this game is our original feminine wisdom strengthened by Venus in her cycle with the Sun. This is the remembrance that they are intent on blocking. Venus is our guide back into our inner knowing. She invites us into the rhythm that reveals our forgotten codes of creation. She shows us how to overcome our negative programming and discover our true self by saying yes to the heroine’s journey and awakening to our pure heart more in each journey.

As heroines our gifts have been forged and tested in the fires of Underworld initiations. The stresses of rejection, attacks and exile have been alchemized. We have learned to hum with the energy of victory, even though we sit in the darkest dark before the dawn. The conditions meant to stop our progress only make us stronger. We remember our diamond, feminine power - the brilliance of Venus sparkling in the rose and then velvet sky. This crucible of suffering has strengthened our luminescence - the light of our essence.

We do not deserve this suffering. We reject that we are here for endless painful lessons. We’ve seen through that New Age propaganda aimed to gaslight us and influence us to accept what is not natural, what is not of love. Yet, we’ve learned how to alchemize the trauma we were dealt in this incarnation and how to stay pure and true, no matter what has been done to us.

We begin to shine in the dark because we begin to remember that we are portals into the unknown and are connected to every possibility in every dimension in this universe and beyond. Women who remember their feminine alchemy can bring forth any thing. Anything at all. “Form is emptiness and emptiness is form” as the core Buddhist teaching reminds us. Women are the emptiness and we can connect to any form and bring it into matter. Manna from heaven.

We start to shine in these darkest days because know that our bodies contain a potent black hole as fertile as the richest, loamy soils of this earth. We are gardens nurturing and protecting the seeds of the more beautiful future - on stand by for our blossoming.

Our heroine’s journey humbles us through failure. We surrender what is not true to discover what is. We have released falsity of all kinds, the masks of pretending, the addiction to approval, clinging to beliefs that keep us safe from the terror of the mystery, the impulse to shrink, the tendency to fawn and the habit to disassociate from the wisdom of our body, heart and soul at the moment when we need it most.

Our undoing has been long, deep and thorough. As powerful beings we have felt immense frustration a our sense of impotence as we sense what the world needs and wish to create it. We have learned that our greatest power is to orient to the felt sense of truth in each arising moment. We are being trained in keeping the faith in an extended period of not knowing.

When we shine in the dark and share our gifts forged in the Underworld, we represent our unique wisdom, our piece of the puzzle for how to regenerate a caring culture that lives in intimacy with nature and centers the protection of children and innocence. We are not meant to do it alone or be an isolated leader all of the time.

When we emanate from our essence, we send out a signal that reaches our kindred spirits, a message that says, “Come, find me. Let’s shine together.” Our puzzle piece clicks in with her puzzle piece and we begin to create a star pattern of wisdom that weaves and shimmers, ebbs and flows, nourishing us and nourishing each other. Venus wisdom shows us how to create win - win again and again.

This magical star is the animation of the embrace of Mother Sun and Daughter Venus across many cycles of 8. The cycle we were born into when we inhaled our first breath is crucially important to our awakening to our feminine power. The energies of our Venus astrology shows us how to move with the rhythm of this cycle and how our own gifts are augmented and expanded through bonds with other women.

This is the gift of the Age of Aquarius and the collective genius we are here to unlock at this time. Here, our unique and sovereign brilliance does not wish to dissolve back into the oneness of an ultimate Source but to harmonize in togetherness, retaining our unique tone and spirit song.

Shine in your heart’s wisdom that arises from your open, innocent and broken open heart. We are knitting ourselves back together into wholeness. Let’s join together in the journey and share our feminine wisdom to break the spells of this Dark Age.

Venus met the Sun closest to the Earth on March 22nd, 2025 at 02˚of Aries and opened up our current heroine’s journey. This meeting is the seed of the entire 19 month cycle. I created this graphic to show the key astronomical and astrological points in this Aries cycle.

For years I have been learning and teaching how to align with the energy of each cycle working with that initial meeting place - the Venus Star Cycle or “Venus Star Point” as Arielle Guthman calls it. This meeting occurs when Venus is “cazimi” meaning, “in the heart of the Sun.” It is a purely positive union with no shadow.

Venus is the the sister planet to Earth and considered a highly benevolent planet. She is the wishing star that brings us our heart’s desire. Her cycle is echoed in the Babylonian myth of Inanna and Greek story of Demeter and Persephone, and she is connected to most major Goddesses. The Sun is the center of our solar system bestowing heat, light and life upon Earth. Sun is the Source, the “son” of God that dies and is resurrected. Together these two planets are showing us a journey of life/birth, death/initiation and rebirth/resurrection.

The sign and degree of the union of Venus and the Sun that begins each cycle set the tone of the entire cycle. In syncing with Venus for 14 years, I have linked many events, both myself personally and with clients as well as collective themes to the sign opening the cycle.

I translate all of the astrology within the container of the 19 months because I hold the sacred feminine as central. Her movement from one 19 month cycle to the next traces a five pointed star in the sky over 8 years. So every 8 years Venus meets the Sun in the same sign, a few degrees backwards each time. It takes 108 years for her to move completely through a sign. So, this starting point is key in understanding and moving with her cycle.

Personally I was moving with the energetic invitation of this Venus in Aries cycle - initiating new starts, bold moves and pioneering undiscovered territory. Shortly before Venus and the Sun met in March, I accepted and invitation to bring Venus Wisdom to a farm and Venus-inspired Goddess ministry in Arkansas.

I sold most of my belongings and left the town in Northern California where I had lived for 27 years. My 20 year old daughter drove out with me in my van with our 3 cats, dog towing a trailer with my remaining belongings. 3 months later I moved to Taos, New Mexico to help start a women’s sanctuary and 3 months later I returned to California, furthest north in Mount Shasta to help an old friend revive her Montessori Farm School.

My bold moves into unknown territory were not stabilizing and I was depleted financially and physically. In Mount Shasta I initially stayed in a bell tent on land next to my friend’s rental where the farm school had operated before they lost their dome classroom due to a neighbor reporting it to the county.

We got up early and watched Venus appear over Mount Shasta and made wishes for our vision to come together. We had met in Montessori teacher training 14 year prior and seeded this vision of an innovative, nature based school as a hub for unlearning the ways of the institutionalized schools of the dominator paradigm and remembering and sharing the skills of our ancestors.

The house she was renting was spacious and she had converted the upstairs into the classroom in hopes of reviving the school. The herd of goats that were the heart of the farm school lived in a huge barn with a half acre enclosure to frolic. The Shasta River was only a short walk away. The vision was bright and it all seemed so idyllic but the obstacles turned out to be thicker and darker than I could have imagined.

Many possibilities were considered in those first two months but the bottom line was that she and her family had to vacate the house and the goats had to move pronto. A woman my friend knew offered to host the goats on her family’s land. She also dreamed of a growing community and creating a new paradigm. We thought the farm school would blossom there but it did not.

Just as Venus was slipping into the Underworld, I moved into a trailer on that land to help care for the goats. Every doe was pregnant and they started giving birth in early December, in the bitter cold and snow, a couple days after I turned 55. For my solar return, I helped to bring 18 baby goats into the world and it was an incredible experience of birth, as well as death.

As the winter deepened and everyone recovered from the stresses of kidding, it became clear that the school vision was not a match for this land and owner. Living in the tension of that disconnect after all the transition I had been through was next level Underworld tenderizing. At Solstice, I put out a strong prayer for direction, for resources and for guidance in my next steps. And oddly enough that prayer was answered via YouTube as I found five creators who were sharing the exact wisdom that I needed to connect with to sustain my flame of hope and devotion.

One of those creators, a beautiful, fierce, analytical woman, who had studied and decoded many of the ancient texts, helped me to understand that the Sidereal Zodiac, the original zodiac used by the first Babylonian astrologers was truly more accurate. Of course, I had heard this before and I have been a bit annoyed when Vedic astrologers would announce that the Sun was not really in this this sign, but this other one and we needed to look at the constellations in the sky, not the signs that were fixed to the 0° Aries point of Vernal Equinox.

Studying Tropical astrology for over 30 years, the system used in the west, I had come to the conclusion that both systems worked and that each had a different purpose. This Babylonian astrologer's passion and clarity relieved me of that notion. Plus, her reflections that this is the system that the elites use to dominate the world resonated strongly. If we want to study our astrology codes to throw off the shackles of our programming, using the positions of the original astrology fits.

I started to re-orient to my own astrology chart to test the differences. Holy wow. Everything clicked. It reminded me of when I was 16 years old and I got glasses. I didn’t have terrible vision so I didn’t know what I was missing. When I put on glasses for the first time I was shocked that I could see the leaves on the trees in detail. In my own Sidereal chart, all the same signs were there but expressed through different planets. It made so much more sense.

When I arrived in Mount Shasta I gave my friend her first astrology reading and introduced her to her Venus Design through Tropical astrology. Observing her, I couldn’t understand how she could be a Virgo rising. Our rising shows our “birth”, our face and how we walk into a room. She entered a room with exuberance, expression and passion. Not Virgo qualities. In Sidereal, she shifted to a Leo rising and that made so much more sense. Leo about about dramatic self-espression. There was that clarity again.

Since then, I have done sessions with clients re-orienting their astrology to their Sidereal chart and the illumination continues. My daughter said she never felt like a Taurus Sun. Now, she’s an Aries Sun and, oh yes, she is! I’m not writing this to convince anyone to change but I am giving you the context for why I shifted. This was the gold in one of the darkest Underworld Phases that I can remember.

Of course I’ve received a lot of insight working with Tropical astrology but I will be using Sidereal going forward. Because our Venus energy is so important to cultivate as those qualities bring us closer to our soul self, our true nature, our eternal spirit, I want to be sharing the most accurate sign. I don’t see all that I learned through Tropical as wrong. But I believe it’s critically important to connect with the qualities of our Venus and become radiant in their expression, as this is what helps to awaken our feminine alchemy, our capacity as women to build worlds. For this, I want to be sure we are contemplating our most accurate Venus sign.

We are the ones who will re-dream this world with mother hearts who revere life, protect innocence and value creativity, art and harmony. No healthy mother would create this kind of world. The Kali Yuga is over and it is time for us to awaken and remember our abilities as worldbuilders.

I will go deeper into the meaning of the changes of this Venus in Aries cycle which is a Venus in Pisces cycle in Sidereal in Part 2. This is a very different energetic invitation. This cycle opened at 07˚ Pisces in the Sidereal Zodiac. All of the Venus Star Points in our 8 pointed star change. And this is good news for our feminine power.
