And those choices are forming us.

This conversation explores what it means to present our lives as a living sacrifice…not through one dramatic moment of surrender, but through the ordinary, repeated decisions of everyday life.

Because our thoughts don’t stay isolated in our minds.

Stewardship requires open hands.

God entrusts us with things that matter: our bodies, families, homes, work, resources, gifts, and opportunities. But stewardship changes when we begin treating what He entrusted to us as though it belongs to us.

The question becomes less:

“Is this thing good or bad?”

and more:

“Can I hold this with an open hand?”

Can I care for it without being controlled by it?

Can I enjoy it without finding my identity in it?

Can I work toward it without needing a particular outcome?

Can I thank God for it while remembering that He is still greater than the gift?

That is where the heart reveals the difference between stewardship and control.

And perhaps the strongest line to carry into the episode:

I can deeply value what God has given me without needing to possess it as my own.

What has first place in my life?

This final episode in our Purity Arc brings together everything we’ve been exploring over the past three weeks.

In Episode 4, we asked whether our faith has quietly become shaped by culture more than Scripture.

Now we arrive at the question every disciple eventually faces:

Will I truly surrender my will to His?

Jesus never invited people to simply admire Him.

He invited them to follow Him.

That invitation has never changed.

Yet somewhere along the way, much of modern Christianity has reduced discipleship to agreement instead of obedience.

We’ve become comfortable asking Jesus to bless our plans while resisting His.

We celebrate grace while avoiding surrender.

We want the promises of the Kingdom without always embracing the pathway that leads there.

Throughout this conversation, we unpack what wholehearted discipleship actually looks like.

We discuss why obedience often feels threatening to our flesh, why discernment matters more than ever in today’s culture, and how easily we can become distracted by the actions of others while neglecting God’s assignment for our own lives.

But here’s where many of us get stuck…
