The “do you deny the right of the state of Israel to exist?" is a fucked up question to begin with. It’s designed to be a gotcha question that makes the respondent look bad no matter how they answer it, along the lines of “do you still beat your wife?”

The intent is that if you answer yes, the state of Israel has a right to exist, then they can attack you for criticizing their actions against Palestinians, Lebanese, et al. If you answer no, they get to shriek that you’re anti-semitic.

Much like Stalin era whataboutism, it isn’t a genuine question - it’s meant to shut down debate. And it’s a popular tactic.

The TLDR is that no state has a “right” to exist.

States come and go, sometimes by the will of the people within that state and sometimes not.

Germany, f'rinstance, has only existed since January 18, 1871 after a collection of other states agreed to come together and form this new one. But even that wasn’t continuous existence.

After WWII that state ceased to exist as two new ones formed; Bundesrepublik Deutschland, in English the Federal Republic of Germany and Deutsche Demokratische Republik (DDR), in English the German Democratic Republic (GDR).

Then post Cold War the states of the Federal Republic of Germany and German Democratic Republic ceased to exist and the state of Germany, albeit with new borders, came back into being.

After WWI the Ottoman Empire ceased to exist. So too did Austria-Hungary, dissolved into several independent nation states. One of these new ones, the state of Yugoslavia, ceased to exist less than 80 years later.

The state of Czechoslovakia ceased to exist when the people within it chose to separate into the Czech Republic (now also formally called Czechia) and Slovakia (the Slovak Republic).

“States,” writes the author Yousef Munayyer, “don’t exist because they have a ‘right’ to. They exist because certain groups of people amassed enough political and material power to make territorial claims and establish governments, sometimes with the consent of those already living there and, oftentimes, at their expense.”

The states of Tanganyika and Zanzibar ceased to exist in 1964 when they merged to form modern Tanzania.

Sikkim, a Himilayan monarchy, ceased to exist when it merged with India in 1975.

As UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese said: "If tomorrow Italy and France want to merge and become Ital-France, fine, this is not up to us. What is enshrined in international law is the right of a people to exist."

Lay your head down, child - I won't let the boogeyman come

In Nazi Germany the motivation for encouraging hatred against Jews culturally and as a matter of a violent and repugnant official policy was to scapegoat a group of people, to Other them, to not only make non-Jewish Germans feel superior but to offload many of the struggles that come from having an organized society onto these Others.

You lost your job? It’s because of the Jews. You aren’t living the life you’d hoped? It’s because of the Jews. You dropped your sweet roll before you got a chance to eat it? Jews, probably.

Because this sort of propaganda doesn’t stand up to any sort of rational scrutiny, the Others have to be villainized to cartoonish extremes. They’re the cause of all of the crime. All of the rapes. All of the violence and wrongdoing that has ever been done against you and against society.

And when they fight back against this othering, this oppression, the government and its loyal followers can point to their resistance and say “See? Look how violent they are!” as a justification for even more violence and oppression against them.

In the modern context, the state of Israel is doing this to the Palestinians and Lebanese. And the Othering propaganda plays well to the home audiences and to those in the Jewish diaspora willing and eager to buy into it.

“We’re killing like we haven’t since 1967”

Israeli Major General Avi Bluth, commander of the military forces in the West Bank, made this boast on 3 May 2026.

According to a poll by Haaretz in 2025, 82% of Jewish Iraelis support the ethnic cleansing going on in Gaza. And 65% of them support Amalek - the killing of every Palestinian man, woman, and child .

When gentiles criticize these attitudes and their expression through real violence against Palestinians and Lebanese, it works in Israel’s favor. “See?” the government proclaims, “this is why you need us. This is why this ethno-state is necessary. They’re all against us.”

This has been so successful that there have been Jewish-American celebrities writing think-pieces on how they felt “assaulted” because someone on the street, who wasn’t even aware of their presence, was wearing a “free Palestine” T-shirt.

But many Jews globally see through the bullshit. They protest against the genocides being carried out in their name. They join gentiles in holding the state of Israel responsible for these actions.

Thus Israel and its loyal followers need a way to shut down such rational scrutiny lest it deflate their propaganda at home and among the loyal diaspora. They wouldn’t want their followers to start questioning the official line.

So they go around snarling “Do you deny the State of Israel has a right to exist?” at anyone who criticizes their actions, while they’re actively denying the right of the Palestinian people to exist.

Under international law, states don’t have a right to exist. People do. And the State of Israel is violating that right.

Many people are upset to hear that ICE is considering purchasing gloves that can administer an electric shock. What many don’t know is that they’re already in use. In Omaha public schools.

The Omaha Police Department said Friday that the gloves have been used twice by school resource officers, in both cases on students.

Last May, the Omaha Police Department submitted a request to the Omaha City Council to buy 40 pairs of the gloves for a little under $66,000. The gloves were intended to be used by school resource officers “as another use of force option with the goal of deescalating and preventing use of force situations,” according to documents submitted to the City Council.

The council unanimously approved the purchase as part of its consent agenda on June 3, 2025. No one spoke about the purchase at the meeting.

According to its website, OPD has school resource officers – or SROs – at 34 schools in the Omaha, Westside, Millard, and Elkhorn public school districts. A spokesperson for OPD confirmed Friday that the gloves have been delivered to SROs at 29 of the 34 schools, with plans to train officers at the remaining 5 schools.

Omaha Police Officer Jason Civitano trains SROs on how to use the glove. During a Friday afternoon press conference, he gave a demonstration and described both incidents in which the gloves were used.

“The officer was trying to get this individual away from the school to leave. The commands were given. There was a refusal. It was a quick touch with the glove and then the officer was able to secure that individual,” Civitano said.

“The other one, I believe, was in a high school and again, noncompliance, and so the officer chose in this situation to utilize the glove. No reported injuries,” Civitano said.

When asked why the gloves are being used in schools but not in the general public, Civitano pointed to the lower level of force involved.

“I think because of the low level of force, plain and simple. I don’t have taser barbs. I’m not gonna spray pepper spray where there’s a lot of aftercare,” Civitano said. “This, as you saw, has lesser effects than each of those areas,” Civitano said.

OPD confirmed that in both incidents, the use of force was reviewed and deemed within policy.

POSOTUS has demanded that the US Navy make a major change to a future aircraft carrier because he doesn’t understand the technology going into it.

In a memo he signed on 13 August 2026, he directed the Navy to remove the modern electromagnetic catapult from the future USS Doris Miller and replace it with the steam catapults that carriers used for decades.

Trump is bitching about the magnetically powered catapult system that shoots fighter jets off the deck of the carriers. His complaints about it go back to 2017 during his first term , when the technology was first deployed. At the time he claimed the new system is “not good” and “doesn’t have the power” of the older, steam systems used by US carriers for about 70 years.

The newest, Gerald R. Ford class carriers replaced the steam system with EMALS, the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System, which - as the name implies -uses a magnetic track instead of steam.

Orange Julius has ordered the Navy to strip EMALS from the future USS Doris Miller, the fourth Ford-class carrier and early enough in construction for the change to be made, and install steam catapults instead.

He has also called s for replacing the ship’s advanced electromagnetic weapons elevators with hydraulic ones.

The three Ford-class carriers already built or further along the construction process; the Ford itself, the John F. Kennedy, and the Enterprise, aren’t affected at this time.

Hegseth and the acting Navy secretary have 60 days to deliver a plan.

THE CASE FOR

Those against the new tech, including POSOTUS, claim that EMALS has been troubled and that steam is the safer bet.

Mango Mussolini has long criticized the electromagnetic system, saying in July he had no patience for “electric catapults that don’t work.” His directive says the Navy has suffered “a series of shipbuilding setbacks stemming from overly complex designs” and calls for a return to “proven, reliable, and affordable technologies.”

EMALS did suffer reliability problems in its early years aboard the Ford. Almost a decade ago.

Steam catapults, by contrast, are a mature, well-understood technology that generations of sailors know how to operate and repair.

THE CASE AGAINST

Several naval and defense analysts call the move backward and costly. EMALS has largely proven itself, they point out. The USS Gerald R. Ford has completed more than 36,000 EMALS launches in the nine years that it’s been in operation aboard that ship, with the kinks worked out after the shakedown period.

The system is designed to be gentler on aircraft and easier to maintain over time.

Also, EMALS can do something steam catapults struggle to do. Launch the lighter unmanned aircraft the Navy plans to fly in the future.

Also also, no company in the United States currently manufactures steam catapults anymore. The Navy hasn’t built a new one in over 15 years, and the infrastructure is gone.

Restarting that production line, experts say, would cost tens of millions of dollars and take years *on top of* the billions and the schedule delays the overall change is expected to add to a carrier already not due until the 2030s.

Here’s a thought. instead of trying to “save” money by cancelling a system and spending hundreds of millions more in the process, likely requiring billions more in the near future when unmanned aircraft make them a necessity for carriers, why not stop building new carriers the US navy is struggling to find crew for anyhow, and put the money into anything other than more war machines?

Trigger warning: this article contains description of a shooting as taken from bodycam footage and court documents

On July 6th, 2024, Sonya Massey - a 36 year old woman living in Woodside Township near Springfield, Illinois in the USA, called 911 because she feared there was a prowler outside her home. When officers responded they looked around the property but didn’t find anyone outside. As the conversation on Massey’s front step began to wind down, Massey said, “love y’all, thank y’all” and started to re-enter her house.

The deputies - Sean Grayson and Dawson Farley - briefly asked her about a broken down SUV nearby. Then as Massey re-entered her house they followed her inside. Although she wasn’t under arrest and had done nothing wrong, Grayson asked to see her identification.

While Massey sat on a couch in the living room and looked through her purse for her identification, Grayson saw a pot of water on the kitchen stove and said, “We don’t need a fire while we’re here.” He told her to take the pot off of the stove.

Grayson remained in the living room while Massey walked over to the stove, turned off the burner, carried the pot to the sink, and turned on the faucet, complying with Grayson’s command.

The two deputies remained in the living room. She asked the deputies what they were doing, and Grayson saidchuckled saying, “Getting away from your hot, steaming water.”

Massey muttered “I rebuke you in the name of Jesus”.

Grayson says “Huh?”

The tiny woman started to repeat herself. “I rebuke you in the name of - ”

Grayson snapped, yelling "You better fucking not. I swear to God, I'll fucking shoot you right in your fucking face!” As he screamed at her he drew his 9mm pistol and pointed it at her head.

Massey, confused, said softly “Okay. I’m sorry.”

Grayson - who was in the living room, separated from Massey in the kitchen by a counter and substantial distance, yelled “Drop the fucking pot! Drop the fucking pot!” even though she had already placed the pot in the kitchen sink

Massey, terrified, ducked behind the counter. Grayson approached the counter and stepped to the right so he had line of sight on Massey, and immediately fired three times at the unarmed, complying woman.

True to his threat he’d shot her in the face, just below the left eye. The bullet exited out through the back of her neck. Despite the severity of the head shot it wasn’t immediately fatal.

in this photo the distance between Massey and Grayson is apparent. In his report, and later in his application for early release from prison, he claimed she attacked him with the pot of water he had told her to take off of the stove.

For at least six minutes, Dawson Farley - the other deputy who was with Grayson that night, the one whose bodycam footage shows what happened - said he was going to get his med kit. Grayson argued with him, proudly stating “No, it was a headshot, dude, she’s done. You can go get it, but that’s a headshot.”

Farley retorted “we can at least try and hold the — stop the blood.” He remained in the house and applied pressure to the wound while waiting for medics to arrive.

A minute later Grayson observed Massey was “still breathing but she’s losing a lot of blood.” Then Grayson - who had told Farley not to bother getting his med kit - announced he was going to go get his own.

Farley held Massey’s head and used a kitchen towel to apply pressure to her wound. As minutes went by he muttered “C’mon. Where’s he at? C’mon.” as he waited for Grayson to return with the promised med kit.

A third officer entered the house; Farley reported that Massey was “still gasping” for air, and asked that third officer to hand him another kitchen towel to stanch the bleeding while they waited for an ambulance.

Meanwhile, Grayson’s bodycam footage shows that, instead of going to get his med kit, he walked around outside the house and then eventually went back inside, but he did not provide aid to Massey.

When other officers arrived, he claimed that Massey “came at [him] with boiling water,” and he told the officers “this fucking bitch is crazy.”

Sonya Massey was taken by ambulance to St. John's Hospital in Springfield, where she was pronounced dead. According to Massey's family one of her ancestors, William Donnegan, was lynched in the Springfield race riot of 1908 and pronounced dead in the same hospital as Massey. The 1908 riot led to the founding of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).

A review by Illinois State Police found Grayson not justified in his use of deadly force. He was later fired from the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office on July 17, the same day charges were filed against him. The office wrote “It is clear that the deputy did not act as trained or in accordance with our standards.”

The ISP Report prepared by a Master Sergeant in the Illinois Division of Criminal Investigations who is “a Subject Matter Expert regarding Use of Force Incident Review” noted that, at the time Grayson pointed his gun at Massey and began approaching her, Massey had not made “any aggressive movements toward either Deputy.”

And “[d]ue to Mrs. Massey not aggressively approaching [Grayson] with the pot of liquid or making any aggressive movements,” the report found that “the necessity of force [by Grayson] was not imminent.”

The report explained that Grayson’s claimed’s “fear of great bodily harm could have been resolved by not approaching Mrs. Massey and coming within throwing distance of the liquid.”

Grayson “did not attempt to slow the situation down while Mrs. Massey was standing close to the pot of liquid in an attempt to de-escalate the situation” and “did not give Mrs. Massey any further commands after she let go of the pot and crouched below” the kitchen counter.

Instead, Grayson “escalated” the situation “and advanced in the direction of” Massey.

The report likened these circumstances to an officer intentionally and unnecessarily putting himself in front of a moving car and then attempting to justify his use of force against the driver because he feared being hit by the car.

Even if Grayson did somehow fear Massey was going to throw water at him, he could have used his taser.

At a circuit court hearing to determine whether Grayson should be released pending trial the court found Grayson posed a danger to the community.

At trial, after the jury deliberated for 11 hours, on October 29,Grayson was found guilty of 2nd degree murder and was given the maximum sentence of 20 years.

He filed for early release from prison in May 2026, six months into his sentence, according to a copy of his application published by Capitol News Illinois.

Sean Grayson had been diagnosed with colon cancer before murdering Sonya Massey, and his attorney claimed in January that the cancer had spread to his liver and lungs.

At his January sentencing Grayson apologized for Massey’s death, but in the release application he repeated the lie of self defence that had been debunked at trial, writing Massey had “attacked me with a pot of boiling water.”

The three-member Illinois Prisoner Review Board saw through his bullshit; they voted unanimously on Friday to deny Grayson’s application for early medical release.

Daniel Fultz, an attorney who represented Grayson, declined to comment.

In a letter to the board opposing Grayson’s release, Sangamon County State’s Attorney John Milhiser said the former deputy’s medical condition was already considered at sentencing.

“To release Grayson under these circumstances would be a miscarriage of justice,” he wrote, “and an insult to Sonya Massey’s memory and family.”

According to unreleased footage from a documentary about the South Carolina Republican lawmaker that was being filmed before he died earlier this month, Sen. Lindsey Graham planned to travel to Florida in early March to persuade POSOTUS to Lebanon on Israel’s behalf — until Benjamin Netanyahu said no. Threatening Hezbullah is one thing; but actually bombing them in concert with the US in the midst of the Iran war could open up a second front, the war criminal pointed out.

“We’re concentrating right now on Iran,” Netanyahu said on the March 4 call. “If we tell Hezbollah that we’re going all the way, we threaten them, but if we actually do it, then they have no reason not to go all the way against us. And right now that’s not our interest,” he said on speakerphone.

The phonecall was captured by the documentary filmmaker Alex Holder, who had been granted extensive access to Graham since 2023. It provides an unvarnished look at Ladybugs’ yearslong quest to topple the Iranian regime and the ways in which he persuaded Trump to strike, at times pushing for even more aggressive action than Netanyahu was prepared to take.

He was like the weedy little shit in high school that starts yelling “Fight! fight! fight!” at every argument, hoping to see someone’s nose get bloodied, while never himself having the courage to risk an altercation with someone who might swing back at him.

“Look what we’ve done here. I almost cried,” Ladybugs tells the crew, laughing loudly just after U.S. strikes on Iran began in February. “How long have we been pushing this?”

He then tells the crew that Trump was equally happy about the war. “I talked to Trump this morning, he’s jacked, he said, ‘best thing I have ever done.’ He loves blowing stuff up.”

The footage shows the documentary crew regularly traveling with Graham, sitting in the back seat and filming as he takes phone calls from the front seat. Graham let the crew stay in the room for sensitive meetings, and some of the people Graham spoke with by phone told the Journal they didn’t know the calls were being recorded.

“The water I am drinking is not clean”, Andrew Tate tweets. “I am an American. Innocent until proven guilty.”

Tate and his followers (Taters?) have been screaming for anyone they Other to be locked up. But now that Tate himself is behind bars he complains about what it’s like to be behind bars.

He was happy to traffick women. And children. For sexual exploitation. But now that he’s being held, pending deporation to the UK to face trial for more of his crimes, suddenly the very system he tried to wield as a weapon towards others is a system he finds unjust. The same cage he would happily have others in is now a chamber of horrors because he is in it.

This is the problem with fascists and their supporters; they revel in cruelty as long as they’re the ones meting it out, or at least cheering from the sidelines.

If anything demonstrates their lack of empathy, it’s this: They’re capable of seeing that oppression is wrong. That torture is wrong. That inhumane treatment is wrong. But not until it affects them.

Advocates of dominance frameworks like Tate rarely acknowledge systemic flaws in detention systems until they experience restrictions themselves. And Tate is getting the light version. He isn’t sleeping in a literal chain link cage with lights on 24/7, given only a thin bit of foil as a blanket and being denied medical treatment. But thousands of children are, in ICE detention, at the same time he’s playing on his phone complaining about how rough he has it.

U.S. Magistrate Lauren Louis set a detention hearing for Aug. 13 to determine whether the Tates - Andrew and his brother Tristan - should stay in prison or be released during what could be a months long extradition process.

Jackie Perczek, one of their attorneys, said the Tates have shown they are not a flight risk because they return to Romania every month after they were accused there of luring women for sexual exploitation. “For three years they have not fled,” she said. “They've traveled the world and every month they return to Romania.”

In other words she’s saying they should be let out of prison because while they globetrot and spread more of their misogynistic hate, living the high life and apparently committing more crimes sex trafficking women and children, hey at least they abide by their parole in Romania for their previous crimes.

Yeesh.

The 36th NATO Summit in Ankara on July 7–8, 2026 highlighted growing tensions between POSOTUS and America’s traditional allies, as Canada and European leaders increasingly focused on managing his behavior and tempering his tantrums while simultaneously advancing defense plans that could reduce their reliance on the United States.

Throughout the two-day summit, allied leaders worked to keep Trump engaged despite his repeated attacks on NATO partners and renewed overtures toward Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Behind the scenes, the Pentagon confirmed it is conducting a six-month review of U.S. troop levels in Europe, while a coalition of European NATO members and Canada began developing a North Atlantic and Arctic naval mission that would operate without American participation.

Cheeto Benito reserved his warmest praise for Erdoğan, slobbering about their “chemistry”, discussing the possibility of easing U.S. sanctions on Turkey, and dangling promises of F-35 fighter jets. He outright said Erdoğan was the primary reason he attended the summit.

His treatment of NATO allies was markedly different.

Before the summit opened, Mango Unchained posted a photo of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni with the caption “RESTRAINING ORDER NEEDED.” He called Spain a “terrible partner in NATO,” threatened trade consequences, and again suggested that the United States should take control of Greenland from Denmark.

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen publicly stated that Denmark would defend every inch of its territory and that Greenland was not for sale. She delivered the remarks right to POSOTUS’s orange stained face before returning to summit meetings.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte spent much of the summit publicly praising POSOTUS’s role in increasing defense spending among allies, encouraging him to claim credit for the alliance’s progress. European observers have increasingly characterized Rutte’s approach as an effort to keep Baron Von Shitzinpants engaged and prevent further disruption to summit proceedings.

The summit underscored broader concerns within Europe about the future of transatlantic security. As uncertainty over American commitments continues, several allies have accelerated discussions about strengthening independent defense capabilities, including new military initiatives that do not depend on U.S. participation.

French President Emmanuel Macron also drew attention throughout the summit by wearing aviator sunglasses during official events, including indoor meetings, the leaders’ group photograph, and a morning run through Ankara. While the Élysée Palace attributed the choice to an eye condition, the distinctive appearance became a frequent topic of discussion online.

The contrasting images became one of the summit’s defining visual narratives: Macron projecting confidence and composure while POSOTUS, after spending much of the gathering criticizing allies, whined to reporters as European leaders quietly pursued plans intended to strengthen their security regardless of Washington’s future role.

The Tate brothers were arrested on a UK extradition request by US federal authorities Saturday in Miami, the US Marshals Service said. The spokesperson went on to say the warrant was sealed.

The UK’s Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) press release states that Andrew Tate, 39, had been charged with 7 further counts of rape, 3 counts of arranging or facilitating sex trafficking, 3 counts of assault causing bodily harm and 19 additional charges for offences relating to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography.

Tristan Tate also faces additional charges, include 1 count of sexual assault, 2 counts of rape and 3 counts of arranging or facilitating sex trafficking.

The charges are from events that allegedly took place from July 2010 to August 2017.

“We have decided to prosecute Andrew and Tristan Tate for further offences including rape, arranging or facilitating trafficking for sexual exploitation and offences relating to indecent images of a child” said Malcolm McHaffie, head of the CPS’s special crime division.

“These charging decisions followed receipt of a further file of evidence from Bedfordshire police and bring the total number of alleged victims in this case to seven.”

Notice we said “additional” charges for each of them above. The total number of UK charges against the brothers is now 59, with 42 against Andrew and 17 against Tristan. Andrew could change his name to RICO Suave.

Bedfordshire police officers are working closely with the CPS and national and international law enforcement agencies in the “complex investigation”, Assistant Chief Const Karena Thomas said.

The two fuckwits, who also promote hypermasculinity to millions more fuckwits on social media, have been wanted in the UK.

The CPS had already charged them with 21 criminal charges in a separate case, including rape, actual bodily harm and human trafficking.

Andrew faces 10 charges from the original case, connected to 3 victims, including rape, actual bodily harm, human trafficking and controlling prostitution for gain.

Tristan Tate faces 11 charges from the original case, connected to 1 victim, including rape, actual bodily harm and human trafficking.

A high court judge recently threw out the fuckwit’s legal attempts to be told the names of their female accusers.

Don’t confuse any of these charges with the ones from Romania in December 2022; more human trafficking, rape and forming an organized criminal group.

David Brouillette is the ICE agent who allegedly murdered Johan Sebastián Durán Guerrero in front of his 3-year-old daughter in Biddeford, Maine.

Now Brouillette’s ex-wife Ashley Brouillette confirms a history of vile abuse, including:

•Police report of throwing his 13 year-old-daughter through a coffee table
•A voice mail from him saying her throat should be cut, and
•Pulling a gun on her in the shower

In one incident recounted by Ashley and confirmed by her mother, Brouillette threw boiling water at her while she was holding their child.

In another, "we had been fighting, and I walked away and I got in the shower, and he comes in with a gun and pointed at me and tells me that he's going to blow my brains all over the bathtub."

After the Guerrero shooting, Brouillette reached out to her. "He asked me to basically talk good in his character, not to talk bad about him. And if I couldn't not talk bad about him, then just not to talk at all to anybody," she told NPR. "And I told him that I was not going to lie for him. He asked me not to talk about the abuse in our marriage. And I told him again I was not going to lie for him."

Scott Collins was best friends with David Brouillette in high school in Maine. Collins testified on behalf of Ashley Brouillette in the divorce proceedings.

"He had a bad tendency of going out and looking for fights," Collins said. "If he saw something online that he didn't like, that somebody said that he knew, he would go out and start that fight."

Collins also said that David Brouillette used anti-Black racial slurs in high school. Ashley Brouillette says she worries racism may have played a part in Durán Guerrero's death.

"He has displayed racism. His nickname in high school was 'White Boy David,' if that tells you anything," she said.

Hundreds of family court records obtained from the Augusta District Court detail years of allegations of physical and verbal abuse made by his second ex-wife on behalf of herself and his daughters.

The ex-wife (who is not identifying herself because she fears retaliation) alleged that he had stalked and harassed her and physically and verbally abused his daughter, according to multiple requests for temporary protection orders.

She said Brouillette tackled his teenage daughter and smashed spaghetti in her hair, and during another outburst, he dragged his daughter around the house as she cried.

"Dave needs counselling or something for his PTSD & depression," she wrote in an application for a temporary protective order on behalf of his teenage daughter which a judge granted in 2021.

After his discharge from the army Brouillette worked for the Maine Correctional Center and for the state's Health and Human Services Department, spending less than a year at each.

He attempted to be a fireman but according to him he was struck by a blow to the head by a steel beam during training and filed a lawsuit. According to his former superiors he was known for yelling and being insubordinate so they were glad to see him go.

In recent years, court filings show, he was collecting disability pay through Veteran's Affairs.

He also drove a truck but quit in January 2025, citing health issues. He then passed a real estate exam but as with his other jobs lasted less than a year.

In late 2025, around the time he joined ICE, Ashley Brouillette said he left a three-minute voicemail mocking her for taking out a restraining order against him.

According to the message she shared, he repeatedly called her "disgusting" and suggested that she and the other women and girls in her "bloodline" should die.

"And all of you should have your f***ing throats cut," the voicemail said.

These are the jackboots that have been given guns, badges, and the cloak of government authority over anyone on American streets.

For about a decade Meta corporate has had our business documentation, address, website, etc. and had satisfied themselves that we’re a bona fide organization.

Recently they implemented Meta AI, which has infamously been locking people out of their accounts, taking down pages, etc.

Meta AI unilaterally suspended our Facebook page that had just under 250k followers. Its logic? It knew from our documentation that White Rose Resistance exists as an organization, therefore the page must be impersonating that organization. In short, it thought we were impersonating ourselves.

We were subscribed to their Meta Verified Business Max service at $6k per year and so could talk to actual humans at Meta. But every time we contacted them, or responded to them contacting us, we were assigned to a new agent who would try and start things from scratch.

Keep in mind that in order to submit a ticket one has to log into a facebook account, then into the Meta business suite, past a 2Fa checkpoint, and fill out a form with the internal ID number of our Facebook page, our email address with our website URL, and our phone number.

So we struggled to understand why the response we often received from the Meta agent du jour was an email demanding that we verify our identity by... telling them whether we're using a desktop or mobile app?

This would be followed by a demand for a video selfie. They know we have multiple people in the organization and said to just “pick one”. They’d confirm receipt of the video file, then there’d usually be 24 hours of nothing from them. Then the ticket would be flagged as “response required”. When we attempted to request an update to determine what response was required, the form crashed. Every time.

At every step we’d provide our phone number, repeatedly, yet every email from them would demand our phone number. Again.

After 6 weeks of this we decided that our time, money, and other resources were better spent continuing to provide our members and others with news aggregation, commentary, events, campaigns, and protest organization than going in circles with Meta.
