It’s been over six years since my ‘Witches for Bernie’ turned ‘Witches for Hope’ platform was created.

It’s nearly three months since Meta deactivated my account and put it into “appeal pending” purgatory.

I never realized how heartbreaking getting locked out of my account would be; it wasn’t only Instagram, oh no. Threads immediately gave that account the boot, forcing me to start from scratch with a new account.

Oh no, wait, the first two or three accounts I tried (connected to long held IG pages) all instantly flagged, asked me for a human verification selfie, and promptly deactivated my accounts with zero recourse or ability to appeal, all citing violating terms and conditions, despite not posting anything and merely liking some posts to generate a new algorithm.

Which! Don’t get me started. Do you have any idea how hard the algorithms are working to PREVENT us from finding fellow leftist, neurodivergent, LGBTQ+ witches?

It’s working overdrive, apparently! I had spent years curating the best feeds, all to be wiped away in a moment, on the day that Pluto stationed retrograde again in my 9H.

I got the message: cool your jets for six months, because this rocket ship is going NO WHERE in terms of adventure, spirituality, mentorship, etc - at least not on Meta platforms.

So, here I am. Missing the 444 people that I had been following (I only found a hundred or so on my new redux account - follow me there, if you haven’t yet!) and, of course, the 114k+ followers that had found their way to my page.

I’m saying goodbye to my aggregate era (but please, I know my curation of leftist and spiritual content resonated and gave hope to many!), and I’m taking time to figure out what comes next.

All I know is, I’m missing the extra income that had come from Meta, and truly truly appreciate every single subscription (only $12/month and unlocks years of content!) or tip via Buy Me a Coffee that comes my way. I’ve been working on reducing expenses / officially closed down the shop / etc. but will still be available for ‘Moon, Saturn, and Chiron and Their Roles in Reparenting’ readings for those seeking inner child healing and hoping to build up their ability to use nurture, structure, and astrology to create their inner parent.

I’m also cooking up a special one-card ‘Role in the Revolution’ reading for each rising sign, which will only be available to subscribers. This reading will be in honor of the North Node pivoting to Aquarius and this weekend’s upcoming Aquarius Full Moon.

Whew, that was vulnerable! I have been mainly sticking to my scheduled posts here, outside of a few notes (welcome to our space here, to all the new folks that found me through the Substack app!). I’ll pop in again soon to share the ‘Role in the Revolution’ readings and will plan to create a real introductory post soon. I’m taking this change at the pace that my nervous system can handle - and for reference, my Mars is in Taurus, so that means very slowly. There’s a reason why I do the work that I do!
