How’s your weekend going?

I know… today is Saturday, not our usual Friday newsletter day. 😅

Yesterday, some of my friends from way back came visiting. We gisted so much that I completely forgot I was supposed to send out a newsletter.

To be honest, the way I laughed yesterday ehn… I haven’t laughed like that in months.

I genuinely enjoyed their company.

Anyway…

We’re still on our Pregnancy Diaries, and someone asked a question last week

“Please, all the funny parts, we want to hear

How about how you found out the gender?

How about the baby bump? How excited were you when it first appeared and when it kept growing?

Tell usssss!”

So…

Let’s get into it.

Finding out the gender

I found out my baby’s gender in my early second trimester. My husband was right beside me during the ultrasound. The next thing he heard was…

“It’s a boy.” he had mentioned before that he didn’t want to know the gender yet.

But me? I was too eager.

During the scan, I quietly told the doctor to check. I didn’t want my husband to hear…

But well…

It is what it is. The moment I heard “It’s a boy,” I was so excited.

When my baby bump finally started showing

I knew my bump had become obvious the day I booked a ride home from the hospital.

I was in the car talking to my mum, she asked if I had eaten.

I told her I hadn’t eaten since morning, then we moved on to another conversation.

Immediately after I ended the call, the Bolt driver said,

“Aunty, I know where you can buy good food around here, but with your condition, you might purge.”

That was when I knew.

“Ah… my bump is showing.”

Another day, I went to Black Bell restaurant. As I was about entering, one man quickly opened the door for me and said,

“Sorry, iya ibeji.”Lmaoooo! It was so funny.

Then my clothes started getting tighter. My tummy kept growing. The mirror selfies?

Omo…The number of bump pictures I took ehn. 😂

I went from having no bump at all to suddenly having this beautiful round belly.

It felt so beautiful.

Let me tell you one crazy thing that happened

One day, I started craving puff puff. Not just craving…I needed puff puff.

Unfortunately, my husband had gone to work. So I decided to look for it myself.

I walked around my street, no puff puff.

At some point, I got tired and begged my gatemen to help me buy it

I even enjoyed it with Viju Chocolate.

Life was sweet…

Until a few days later.

I was admitted to the hospital because I started having preterm contractions. 💀

Apparently…

The long walk I took looking for puff puff triggered the contractions.

Omo.

I enjoyed that puff puff…

But I paid for it in a serious way.

Thankfully, everything settled down eventually.

We’ll continue the gist next week, my ZEEScribers!

Please keep sending your questions.

I’ve been enjoying reading them, and they’ve made this series even more fun to write.

Before I go…

NdaniTV started a new series yesterday called Extra Love.

I started watching it yesterday but slept off halfway through.

I’ll continue today.

If you’re looking for something to watch this weekend, you can check it out too.

Have the most beautiful weekend.

Until next week…

All my love,

ZEE 🤍

Omoo. The responses, messages, and engagement truly meant a lot to me.

At the end of last week’s newsletter, I asked what you’d like me to talk about, and I got quite a number of responses.

One person asked:

“Was the first trimester the most difficult for you?”

My answer? YES! It was a whole lot.

Another person asked:

“Want to hear about all the firsts! You mentioned the heartbeat, but what about the first kick? The first baby shopping? Tell ussss!”

Say no more. 😂

The first kick!

I think I felt my baby’s first obvious kick around 22 weeks. Let me tell you how it happened. It was a workday. I was frustrated, and emotional.

Honestly, I can’t even remember why I was crying so much that day.

I just remember scrolling through TikTok with tears in my eyes.

Then…KPOW! A sharp kick.

I wanted to scream, but I didn’t want my husband to hear because… he was annoying me. 🤣🤣. Omoo, Pregnancy is actually crazy.

Immediately, I left TikTok and opened my camera. I just wanted to capture the moment somehow, I am super glad I did.

It felt like my baby was saying, “Mummy, stop crying.”

And somehow… I stopped crying and my mood changed immediately.

I had this sudden burst of energy.

In fact, I went to the kitchen that night and made Jollof Rice and chicken to celebrate. 😂

The first baby shopping

One of my favourite memories. It was a Sunday. I had breakfast early, dressed up, and my husband and I headed out to shop. I already had a long list of everything we needed. Not on my phone, but in my jotter. My husband kept saying,

“Just use your phone.”

I said,

“No. I need my pen and jotter.”

I frustrated that man ehn. 🤣🤣

By the way…

There’s currently a trend where people share messages they sent their husbands during pregnancy.

I really want to join.

The problem?

I lost my chats at some point.

But…

I can actually collect my husband’s phone and search for the messages, right?

What do you think?

Anyway…

Back to shopping.

The moment we got there, I became emotional, everything felt real.

From onesies, to bibs, socks, flannels…

I picked everything with so much excitement. My husband became a fashion designer overnight, carefully selecting baby clothes like he had been doing it all his life.

It was one of the most beautiful days of my pregnancy.

The second trimester… my honeymoon phase

I genuinely loved antenatal days because I got to hear my baby’s heartbeat and catch a glimpse of him during ultrasound scans.

The second trimester felt like my honeymoon phase.

I gained weight, started glowing, could finally cook again.

And had to change my wardrobe because my regular clothes had officially given up on me.

I sewed new dresses and bought new ones too.

Life was sweet…until constipation decided to humble me.

Ahhh!

Pregnancy constipation looked me in the eye and said “I will deal with you” 😭😂

There’s one day I spent almost one hour in the toilet trying to poop.

I was sweating and questioning my life choices.

To make matters worse, my husband had a visitor that day.

I couldn’t even go out to say hello because I could barely walk. That experience alone made me stop eating bread and yam for a while.

Omo…

Pregnancy will teach you things nobody prepares you for.

Honestly, so many funny things happened during my second trimester.

We’ll continue the gist next week. 😂

In the meantime…

If you have any pregnancy-related questions you’d like me to answer, please send them my way.

I’ll include as many as I can in next week’s newsletter.

Until then…

Have a rain-filled (and hopefully cozy) weekend.

All my love,

ZEE

So…I disappeared because I was pregnant

Welcome to my pregnancy diary

Zee Scribe

In Linda Ikeji’s words… I fell pregnant

Hi fammmmm

I’m saying hi to you today as a boy mum. Wheeeew!

First of all, to everyone who genuinely reached out to ask why I suddenly became inconsistent with my newsletter, thank you. I sincerely appreciate every message, every check-in, and everyone who waited patiently.

Well… pregnancy was kicking me in the ass. 😂

Honestly, I barely had the capacity for anything outside my official work.

Now that the cat is finally out of the bag, I thought, why not? Let’s do a Pregnancy Series!

Now, Let’s go

So yes, I found out I was pregnant and automatically assumed pregnancy symptoms would show up immediately.

Apparently, I had already been pregnant for a while before I even found out.

In fact, I attended back-to-back events, danced in heels, and partied without the slightest clue there was a tiny human growing inside me.

The moment I saw those two lines on the pregnancy test, I became extremely careful…

…for about six hours. 🤣After that, I resumed my normal life.

There was even a day I sat through a three-hour meeting talking, laughing, contributing with nothing in my stomach. It wasn’t until about two hours after the meeting I remembered I hadn’t eaten all day.

I also didn’t have morning sickness. So naturally, I thought, “Wow! I’m one of the lucky ones.” Lmaoooooo. Olodo Uprising

One morning, I woke up feeling uneasy and uncomfortable, I called my sister-in-law, who’s a doctor, and she immediately told me to go to the hospital.

I got there, and after being examined and series of tests, the doctor looked at me and said,

“You’ll have to be on bed rest.”

Excuse me?

I went from having absolutely no pregnancy symptoms to being admitted into the hospital.

Life really comes at you fast.

While on bed rest, I was still trying to keep up with work. I attended meetings, and worked from my hospital bed. I also posted memes and continued my cruise on whatsApp.

Until one day, I became so overwhelmed that I decided I was going to resign.

(I eventually didn’t. ) Pregnancy is honestly life-changing. I couldn’t recognize myself anymore. I became extremely emotional. I struggled with food.

And somehow, I still had to show up at work because I wasn’t ready to tell anyone what was happening.

My TikTok FYP became a whole pregnancy support group. I stumbled on one Onyeka’s page one day, and it felt like we were living the same life.

Every symptom she mentioned? Check. Every emotion? Check.

I genuinely looked forward to her videos. And the sweetest part?

We eventually had our babies the same week.

The very first time I heard my baby’s heartbeat…

That moment broke me in the best possible way.

“You mean there’s actually a human being growing inside me?”

God is so good.

I eventually got discharged from the hospital, but I became extremely conscious of everything.

How I walked.

What I ate.

How much I rested.

I literally spent about half of my first trimester on a hospital bed.

Looking back now, I’m just grateful.

Next week, we’ll talk about the second trimester because… hmmmm. that’s another story entirely.

I honestly don’t know if I’ve done justice to my first-trimester experience, so I’d love to hear from you.

Are there specific things you’d like me to talk about?

Questions? Curious moments? Things you’ve always wondered about pregnancy?

Reply to this email and let me know. No mail from me last week and none of you asked! It’s not fair o 😅

Anyway, this power outage issue is seriously getting out of hand. Even Band A isn’t exempted from the trials despite the huge amount of money people now pay for electricity. Only God knows what is going on in this country. The Minister of Power (Mr. Adelabu) has really heard it these past few days because of the power outage, and honestly, I’m happy! This is the same man who justified the increase in electricity tariff by saying we should switch off our freezers when leaving the house. What a joke! And to think he wants to contest as governor of Oyo State. Nigerian politicians and their stinking audacity!

Lately, I’ve been feeling a bit nostalgic. There’s a boarding school close to my house and whenever they ring the bell for lunch, dinner, or siesta, I hear it clearly. Somehow it always makes me emotional. I was a boarder in my secondary school, SS3 to be precise and, honestly, it was a beautiful experience. Aside from the fact that I made amazing friends, it also taught me independence.

On my very first day in the hostel, I was told I was the room head. In my mind I was like, “Room head ke? I just joined you people o.” But somehow, I navigated my way through it. During my NYSC in Ibadan, I ran into one of my old hostel roommates at a pharmacy. She was in JSS1 when I was in SS3. She told me she had become a pharmacist and was doing her internship there. It was such a beautiful moment for me. We hugged so tightly. The last time I had seen her was at my valedictory service when she was crying because I was leaving. Lol!

Being a boarder also helped me become consistent with my five daily solat. I know people have different experiences with boarding school, but for me, it remains one of the most memorable and beautiful periods of my life.

Do you like the idea of being a boarding house student or not? I’d really love to hear from you.

My weekend is for DearIfeSeries with Jbums as her guest, and a new season of Offair with Gbemi and Toolz! I’m honestly excited. Why are these people anti-love? 😭 I’m honestly imagining how cash bouquet vendors are currently feeling. I’m sure some bouquets were ready long before the ban happened. It’s not fair sha… but it is well.

Anyway, since flower cash bouquet has been banned, nothing for my man o,that was the original plan. Lmaooo. It was so beautiful to watch, and it suddenly reminded me that my own wedding videographer still hasn’t sent my videos. I called him immediately to remind him o. Me sef don do wedding, let me be emotional watching my own too.

But seriously, why are photographers and videographers like this? They can take ages to deliver your work even after payment. And it’s not just them anymore, it’s slowly becoming a general thing. February is finally here! Just like y’all say, “the month of love” is here! Thinking out loud, the month hasn’t really shown any sign of love on social media. Since it started, it’s been back-to-back chaos. And, the most interesting one for me has been the drama between Yhemolee and Ope. Lmaoo.

To be honest, when I watched the first video where Ope reviewed Thayourb’s perfume, it felt very condescending and lacked emotional intelligence. “Who printed the perfume logo, sack him immediately” … “the printer is a modafucker.” The review sounded like it came from deep hurt. I feel like there’s more to it. Whatever it is sha, I’m enjoying the drama!

At this point, “are you mad?” should be named the swear word of the year. It started with Davido using it for Anu, now it’s Ope asking Yhemolee the same question. Omoo, things dey sup!

How did my week even go? Oh yeah, it has been quite productive, and as usual, I’m looking forward to COB today! I slept really late last night watching The Lincoln Lawyer and woke up with hedache. That series is one of the best I’ve watched in my whole life! Maybe I love it extra because I’m a lawyer, but damnnn, it’s sooo good!

I just remembered, Kunle Afolayan said he can’t dance like Funke Akindele… okay, I get it. But Aunty Omotola Jolade coming out to say “dancing to promote your movie is unprofessional”? Honestly, human beings are funny! First of all, she isn’t forcing anybody to dance o, she’s simply doing what is clearly working for her. What’s the fuss? At this point, it’s beginning to sound like jealousy. January started fast, then started getting slow at a point. Anyway, thank God it’s finally over. The way I was looking forward to this month’s salary ehn. Thank God!

My week has been super busy, but something funny happened. Are you ready?… so, my favorite fruit is Agbalumo. At this point, I think I’m obsessed with it. When I was in primary school, primary 5 to be precise. My classmates exchanged gifts to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Guess what mine was? A box of Agbalumo wrapped! Lmaoo. I prayed for the girl that day because I was so happy. Miracle Adedeji, God bless you wherever you are!

If you think my obsession would get better as I grow older. Sorry my opponent, you have been deceived. Last weekend, I got added to a group for bulk food stuff, the admin posted “sweet Cotonou Agbalumo for sale; 4,200 for 12 pieces”. I hurriedly slipped into her dm to make my order o. The order came during the week, and guess what? I had to pay 5k for delivery. Maybe the Agbalumo actually came from Cotonou sha because hmmmmm. Anyway, I opened the package but It looked like Nigerian Agbalumo. I washed and decided to enjoy what I ordered with my hard earned money….

The taste was totally off! I don’t know how to explain it, but it was sweet with a bitter after taste! Out of 12, I had about 3 and disposed the rest. You’re the real ones.

I know I owe you an explanation, but where do I even start from?

Alright, let’s go…

I got married two weeks ago!!

I can already hear, “Oh ZEE, I thought ZEEScribers were fam. Why weren’t we invited?”

Let me explain 😭

I planned my wedding in less than two months. Yes. Two. Months.

I wanted it as low-key and intimate as possible. When I was younger, I dreamt of a very big, loud wedding. But as I grew older, I realized the dream was due to peer pressure.

I remember casually telling my two close friends, “I’m getting married in January”, and for some weird reasons, they weren’t shocked at all. (I guess I can be very unpredictable like that.)

Next thing, they started planning asoebi.

Lmaooo. Asoebi ke??

I said, “I’m not doing a big wedding o. It’s less than two months. Who will buy asoebi?” These babes did not listen!

Who plans a wedding in less than two months? ZEE

I genuinely wanted a very small, intimate wedding in my parents’ house. But both my parents and my husband’s parents said,

“It can be small, but it cannot be a sitting room wedding.”

And that’s how we ended up using a hall… and of course, my friends still handled their asoebi 😭

To everyone who said, “Zee, I’m angry you didn’t invite me”, please know this:

ZEEScribers, you are my number one fam. I wouldn’t trade you for anything. Maybe someday, just maybe, we’ll organise a ZEEscribe party as a proper apology.

I truly had my dream wedding, and I’m deeply grateful to my wedding planner and all the vendors who showed up and showed out despite the short notice. God bless them honestly.

Let me gist you; yesterday at Mega Chicken, one guy walked up to me… then immediately turned back when he saw my ring.

I really wanted to say, “R u mad this boy? I am married.”. Lmaoo, but thank God he turned back on his own 😂😂.

I was so occupied with wedding plans that I completely forgot to send my weekly newsletters. But guess what?

I’m backkkkkk!

Thank you for still sticking with me.

This day last year was my NYSC Passing Out Parade (POP). My NYSC year was honestly a lot, so I was extremely happy that day. After my POP, I took a cab from the secretariat to University of Ibadan junction to take a bike straight home.

That was the plan… until something strange happened.

I got on the bike, told the bikeman where I was going, and a few seconds later, I found myself on the floor. My bike had collided with another bike. How I survived that accident is still a miracle till today. The bike landed very close to a ceramic near my head.

I stood up to people saying, “Sorry corper o.”

My NYSC certificate flew out of my bag. My screen guard broke. Everything was just chaotic.

I struggled to get up and immediately called my boyfriend.

“Babe, do you know what just happened to me?”

It felt unreal explaining it to him because we were literally chatting minutes before the accident.

I bought a new screen guard, called my dad, and walked home. It wasn’t until I got home that the body pain started. I couldn’t walk properly for days.

That day truly taught me the meaning of “life is fickle.”

It’s one year today, and I just felt like sharing that with you.

My bad, my bad…

Happy New Year, dear ZEEScriber.

I pray this year brings good tidings for you and for me 🤍

Did you miss me?

If yes, I want to hear from you!

Have a beautiful weekend ahead.

All my love,

ZEE

Fam, things are happening!

Hi fammmmm,

Zee Scribe

Hi fammmmm,

It’s been two whole weeks without you hearing from me, and all I can say is: life happens!

But trust me, the past two weeks have been eventful. In fact, let me rush to the highlight.

So, my birthday was on the 1st of December, and guess what?

I GOT ENGAGED.

Yes, your girl said YES to the love of her life!

It still feels surreal, tbh.

You know, I like to think I can’t get surprised, like I always know when something is about to happen but this one ehn? E shock me!

Let me gist you how it went down…

My original birthday plan was simple: my friend would come over, we’d eat, gist, laugh, and enjoy the day together. But on Sunday night, my boyfriend (sorry, fiancé ) called to say we’d be going on a date instead. I told him about my plans with my friend and he said, “No problem, she can come along.”

I informed her and she was so excited. This girl started planning her outfit immediately.

Even me, I wasn’t planning what to wear. She was so extra.

Anyway, birthday morning came, and guess who texted me to say she couldn’t make it?

My friend! I felt betrayed. I took my phone and started ranting to my boyfriend about how she betrayed me, not knowing the two of them were actually together. Lmaoo.

Around 5pm, my boyfriend called again to say he wouldn’t be able to pick me up because something urgent came up. He told me to take a Bolt instead.

It was at that point I said, “Oga, no need for dinner date anymore. I’m not interested.”

My friend had already slyed me, now him again?? No now

He kept begging and begging, so I finally changed my mind.

When I got to his house, traffic had dealt with me, and I was really pressed. I wanted to run to the guest toilet immediately, but he said, “Just use the one in my room.”

I entered the room and saw petals on the floor. Everywhere first blur.

What is this??

Then I looked up and saw a “Will You Marry Me?”

I screamed. Lmaoooo, and then I saw my “friend” who slyed me.

Everything clicked.

It was such a beautiful moment. Honestly, the best birthday ever.

So, dear ZEEScribers…

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" I couldn’t write to you last week because malaria held my neck and said, “I’ll deal with you.” It was so bad I couldn’t do anything. Just so you know how serious it was, I didn’t even have the strength to post on my WhatsApp status. Me! WhatsApp status! Can they just carry their drama away from public space? Or am I the only one that’s tired? Sigh.

And then Wike vs military man drama. That video was so funny, Wike was shockedd. Oh God, I need this guy to send his dealer’s contact because… wtf?!

Priscy’s husband, Juma Jux, announced the date for his December concert. How was your week?

As usual, let me gist you about mine

So this week, I attended my first-ever tech event, and it was such an amazing experience, ngl!

Before the event, I saw the lineup of speakers and already knew which session I wanted to attend; the “creative economy session” of course! It was inspiring listening to industry leaders making waves. Honestly, Moonshot by Tech Cabal was everything! It was well-organized, insightful, and totally worth the hype.

Something funny happened there though. So, while I was trying to find the perfect angle for pictures, someone walked up to me and said,

“I’ll have to displace you, I want to take a picture with a celebrity.”

Excuse me? 😂 Trust me to respond. I looked at him and said, “Oh, my fellow celebrity!” We all laughed , took pictures together, and ended up having a good conversation.

See? Sometimes all you need to do is touch grass( go out, meet people, and network). This week honestly felt like a breath of fresh air, and I’m so glad I attended the event.

Meanwhile, social media had me screaming this week. What do you mean people are buying iphone XR in place of iPhone 17 to feel among?! Lmaoo, is it by force? Someone even said, “If you deep am, na madness.” And I agree 😂😂. October is unnecessarily long! Like, what do you mean we’re still on the 10th? Sigh.

The way I trekked this week ehn. I can’t even remember the last time I walked that much. I’m sure I lost about 2kg from all that walking. The distance wasn’t even supposed to be that far, but Lagos traffic had other plans. I had a meeting to meet up, so I jumped down from the bus, paid the driver (honestly, I don’t even remember how), and started walking. I had to use Google Maps to find my way home. It was a journey, I tell you. 😂

Anyway, I made an online purchase last week after seeing an ad on Instagram. I don’t know what got into me because normally, I’m skeptical about buying from vendors I don’t know. But guess what? The package arrived this week and it was way better than I expected! I was honestly prepared for disappointment, but it turned out great. Moral lesson? JUST DO IT!

Now, let’s talk about the video that had me laughing all week. Imisi’s appreciation video to her fans after winning Big Brother Naija Season 10. She started praying for her fans, then said, “Mo le sepe fun yin,” which means “I can curse you.” I screamed! That girl is something else. The president cancelled the parade, but thank God he didn’t cancel the holiday, I would have written a petition. Lol.

October is here, the beginning of a new month and the final lap of the year… Q4. Low-key, it feels like a lot of pressure. Anyway, God is in control. 🙏

Remember I told you that this season of Big Brother (season 10/10) was gradually turning into a toxic show? From the start, it was just fight after fight, exhausting and annoying. Can’t there be content without constant fight?

As the show went on, the housemates started revealing their true colours, especially one called Faith. He’s smart, super intelligent, and the housemate with the most task wins this season. But when it comes to human relationships? Zero. He was often condescending and used every opportunity to harass others.

Just yesterday, I was reading the Duolingo handbook where the CEO mentioned that brilliance/creativity isn’t the only thing they look for when hiring. He shared a story about a candidate who was exceptionally smart. A driver was sent to pick him up from the airport, and he treated the driver terribly. That one act cost him the job.

I was reading this when I heard that Faith had been disqualified from the Big Brother house. Smart, brilliant, and talented, but poor character ruined it all.

Here’s the truth: life isn’t sustained by intelligence alone.

Brilliance can help you solve problems and win tasks, but good character, respect, kindness, humility, is what builds lasting relationships. People value your presence far more when you treat them with dignity.

I hope this serves as a reminder for us all. ✨

What’s your plan for the weekend? I really want to hear from you.

Have a beautiful weekend ahead!

All my love,

ZEE.

TGIF!

Cheers to the weekend mehn!

Zee Scribe

Hi famm!

How are you doing? It’s the last Friday in September? Skrrrrrrr! And the best part? A public holiday next week! God, I’m too happy.

So, during the week, a friend invited me to an October 1st Food Fest. Ticket price was ₦15k, which I felt was okay for an all-you-can-eat buffet. I was seriously considering it because, yes, I love food. But then she came back and said the ticket price had gone up to ₦25k. Lmaoo. BYE! I’ll cook at home, thank you very much.

This week, I also caught up with the season finale of Just Us Girls and whew, it was emotional! It honestly felt like being part of a success story. A proper feel-good watch. If you haven’t seen it yet, it’s on YouTube.

On another note, Chef T (Diary of a Kitchen Lover) launched her cooking show. The PR rollout, pre-launch, launch, post-launch was top-notch. I especially loved the judges’ line-up. The first episode was solid. But the second episode? uhmmmm, I couldn’t finish it. Tomike was laughing like it was a comedy skit, and honestly, it threw me off. Maybe it was funny to her, but it just felt unprofessional. I lowkey think it’s because it’s her friend’s show and she got too comfortable. Sigh. Regardless, Chef T is doing something amazing, and I’m rooting for her big time!

As for my weekend plans, I might just go see “Ginger” at the cinema. Kiekie and Bisola Aiyeola have been doing the MOST with their movie promo, and I can’t lie, they crack me up every time. 😂

What about you? What’s your weekend looking like? Share with me, I’d love to know!

Have a beautiful weekend ahead.

All my love,

ZEE 💜

What's popping?

Hi famm,

Zee Scribe

Hi famm,

How are you doing? I’m so happy it’s Friday already! This week has been super stressful and workfull for me. Rihanna wasn’t lying when she sang “work, work, work”. We were busy dancing instead of realizing she was passing us a message. It is well.

Last weekend, I caught up with “Offair with Gbemi and Toolz” on Youtube. The hot topic was “Do you forgive and forget?” Gbemi shared something that cracked me up, she said a colleague at work hurt her, and she decided not to give that person out of her birthday cake . Lmaoo! At first, I thought, “That’s so petty.” But the more I thought about it, the more I realized… hmm, that actually sounds like something I might do too.

Spyro is engaged? don’t get me wrong. I’m just surprised he had a girlfriend all along. He acts like someone really looking for love. lol. Congratulations to him. Earlier this week, Priscy posted about 3 wristwatches for giveaway. God knows I really wanted to participate in the giveaway, but self respect and pride didn’t let me. sigh.

Weekend plansss? I don’t know mehn. I just want to sleep. It’s been a crazy ass week!

What have you been up to? what’s popping? I’ll love to hear from you.

All my love,

ZEE

All my uncles are rich.

Hi fammm,

Zee Scribe

Hi fammm,

How are you doing? Only God knows where this year is running to!

The highlight of my week? My uncle’s statement;

“Money you don’t spend isn’t yours.” Btw, Femi Otedola is my uncle. If you don’t believe, that’s your business.

As much as I agree with him, that statement doesn’t work all the time. Right now, most people can’t even do “If I perish, I perish”. The economy is crazy, and you might actually perish in a very bad way.

While scrolling through X on Wednesday, I came across another hot conversation:

“What’s the most unhinged thing you’ve done to get ahead?”

I read through the quotes and all I can say is… you need a crazy level of audacity to really go far in life!

I just remembered…There’s an alleged gist of Thayourb. She allegedly pounced on a lady over suspicions of an affair with her husband. If true, I’m highly disappointed. Fighting another woman because of a man? 😭 I never even had a physical fight when I was younger, so imagining it as an adult? Just weird.

Snapchat dragged me down memory lane this week. The memories were wild, crazy, but beautiful too. All I can say is: God is good! 🙏🏽

Hilda Baci will be cooking the largest pot of jollof rice todayy. That babe is a wonder. I really hope that rice would be enough for people to eat because Nigerians ehnn. I’m really rooting for her!

So tell me, what do you think about Thayourb’s alleged physical assault? Is it ever worth it to fight someone else physically because of your partner?

Have a beautiful weekend ahead!

All my love,

ZEE
