But while the media focuses on elite cover-ups, a quieter crisis is unfolding across the United States: multi-million-dollar anti-trafficking nonprofits are routinely failing the very survivors they promise to save.

These survivors who are being failed, are also the people who tend to have the most in-depth information about the names of traffickers and their associates, as well as how these networks operate, besides the traffickers themselves.

In some cases, trafficking survivors are even trafficked or sexually abused through the “anti” trafficking nonprofits again, as with the following cases:

• The founder of “anti” trafficking charity Covenant House, was accused of widespread sexual abuse by at least 15 different people, some of whom were underage at the time of the “alleged” abuse.

• Operation Underground Railroad, led by Tim Ballard who was forced to leave after his sexual “misconduct” was exposed.

• The Refuge for DMST (Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking) has been the site of major issues in Texas:

  • State Emergency Suspension & Federal Court Records (March 2022): The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) issued an emergency suspension ordering the immediate closure of The Refuge Ranch in Bastrop County, Texas. This decision followed testimony and state agency filings presented in federal court proceedings overseeing the Texas foster care system, which detailed reports of staff members sexually exploiting and abusing minor residents.

• Southwest Key, although not an “anti’ trafficking shelter per se, was designed to assist unaccompanied children, a demographic that is at high risk of trafficking:

  • DOJ Lawsuit & Systemic Misconduct: The U.S. Department of Justice filed a lawsuit alleging widespread sexual abuse, physical abuse, and harassment of youth and children by shelter staff spanning years. The lawsuit was suspiciously dismissed by the Trump administration.

  • Failure to Protect Vulnerable Minor Residents: Federal investigations documented safety violations, including failure to report active abuse allegations and staff intimidation of minor residents.

• This unconfirmed report for Frontline Response (Atlanta, GA) that President Terry Tucker was making sexual advances on residents, and entering the bathroom for female women and children without apparent authorization:

  

If you care about justice for Epstein’s victims, you need to care about what happens to trafficking survivors after the headlines fade.

Because right now, the non-profit ecosystem claiming to “help” them is plagued by apparent money laundering, severe mismanagement, incredibly unsafe and unsanitary conditions, performative “rescue” models, and actual trafficking and/or sexual abuse in some cases, as detailed above.

1. Safe Houses That Are Not Safe: The Reality Behind Closed Doors

For many survivors, escaping exploitation and staying free can often be made impossible by the barriers to seeking safe, real care and resources.

The shelters that claim to offer refuge from trafficking- anti-trafficking shelters and residential programs- are seriously under-regulated, incredibly unsanitary and unsafe, and completely lacking in actual care or resources for survivors.

According to this article, women said an Idaho safe house was like being “trafficked all over again”.

In addition to the research linked above, a look at public complaints, resident accounts, and online reviews across various anti-trafficking facilities reveals a recurring, disturbing pattern.

The public reviews and third-party reports excerpted below reflect individual user experiences posted to public forums. While this publication has not independently verified each specific third-party event detailed in these online reviews, they are included here to illustrate recurring, publicly documented operational concerns…

• Unsanitary & Unsafe Living Conditions, Poor Nutrition: Reports of overcrowded facilities, neglected maintenance, substandard meals, drug use by residents, and living spaces that included bedbug infestations.

  This is a review for Frontline Response out of Georgia:

  

  Unfortunately, some of these shelters, such as the Shade Tree, require adults and children there to eat the meals prepared by staff, which are reported to be nutritionally inadequate, and people with disabilities or food allergies who require accommodations, were only able to keep small and inadequate amounts of food on-site. They also were not given access to cook the food, which was prohibitively expensive for some to get adequate food and nutrition that was appropriate for their health issues.

  Please also note that although some of these public reviews here are older, recent residents have reported similar issues to this day:

  

  

• Safety Lapses & Violence: Facilities where residents face threats, harassment, or physical attacks due to inadequate security, or untrained and even abusive staff themselves.

  This person even reported being physically attacked at 9 months pregnant, and that she was kicked out of the shelter when she called the cops. This is not the only case I am aware of where a resident was removed after contacting this same shelter (The Shade Tree) about safety issues there.

  

  This resident reported threats being made against them at Shelter from the Storm in Coachella Valley, CA, and of course, the victim here was removed instead of the perpetrator:

Residents report returning to their abusers because their experiences trying to seek help are so bad:

• Punitive Environments: Programs that operate more like detention centers than healing spaces- restricting personal autonomy, movement, and access to outside support systems, in the US and in other countries.

This review out of Shelter from the Storm (Coachella Valley, CA) indicates that residents could not use their personal devices at all, making it very difficult for them to line up services and resources during and after their stay at the shelter:

Although Laura’s House (Orange County, CA) is more of a domestic violence shelter, residents reported being prevented from working when they went into the shelter, having no access to Wifi at the shelter that could assist them in searching for resources, and other restrictions that made lining up help outside the shelter very difficult.

When the institutions funded to protect people end up re-traumatizing them, the system is actively compounding the harm.

2. Sensational “Rescues” vs. Long-Term Reality

Why is there such a massive gap between public perception and on-the-ground reality? Follow the money.

A significant portion of the anti-trafficking non-profit sector relies on sensationalism to drive fundraising. Organizations pour millions into slick PR campaigns, high-production videos, and dramatic “rescue” narratives.

• The Photo-Op Model: Raids and high-profile interventions generate headlines and donor dollars.

• The Aftercare Vacuum: Once the camera crews leave, funding for long-term housing, trauma therapy, healthcare, and legal aid often vanishes or proves shockingly inadequate.

• Failure to Provide Aid: Many trafficking survivors seeking assistance have reported major issues with even being able to reach these shelters or get past the intake line in the first place, such as with this Idaho nonprofit, the Idaho Anti-Trafficking Coalition, although this is a widespread issue:

  

  

In many cases, funds raised in the name of survivors never reach them directly, remaining trapped in executive salaries, marketing, and bureaucratic overhead.

3. High-Level Connections and the Illusion of Accountability

The outrage surrounding Jeffrey Epstein was never just about his actions, it was about how wealthy, well-connected networks protect themselves while operating with near-total opacity.

That same lack of transparency exists in parts of the non-profit industrial complex. High-profile boards and wealthy donors often use anti-trafficking causes for reputation laundering or political leverage.

• Ghislaine Maxwell, for instance, donated to Girls Educational and Mentoring Services (GEMS), a New York-based charity that helps young victims of commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking.

  • The Donation: Tax filings showed Maxwell made the contribution through her private charity, the Max Foundation TR, around the same time Jeffrey Epstein was negotiating a controversial plea deal in Florida regarding “allegations” of abusing underage girls.

  • Other Contributions: Financial records showed her private foundation also gave to New York-Presbyterian Hospital, which had treated an alleged sexual assault victim associated with Epstein and Maxwell.

• Justin Long, despite facing allegations that he had thrown a party where they were giving minors alcohol, leading to at least one allegation of assault by Alexa Nikolas, who was underage at the time, has been heavily involved with the “anti” trafficking organization Coalition of Abolish Slavery and Trafficking (CAST).

  In fact, his wife Kate Bosworth has been involved with him, despite her longstanding work and friendship with Tory Burch, a woman who was great friends with Ghislaine Maxwell and invited Ghislaine to various events.

  What kind of vetting does CAST do for the “celebrities” that get involved with their organization as “Host Committee Chairs”?

When powerful non-profits operate without independent oversight or survivor-led accountability, they mirror the very power dynamics that allow exploitation to thrive in the first place.

4. What Real Support Demands

If we truly care about anti-trafficking justice, we have to stop accepting performative non-profits and demand real, structural accountability:

1. Listen to Survivor-Led Coalitions: Shift support to mutual aid and organizations directly run or guided by survivors who understand actual post-exit needs.

2. Demand Unannounced Audits & Transparency: Anti-trafficking shelters and programs must be held to strict safety, sanitation, and human rights standards.

3. Fund Basic Needs, Not PR: Direct resources toward immediate, tangible support: independent housing, legal aid, mental health care, and financial independence.

These trafficking survivors are the people with the information about the names, and innermost workings of these networks. These are the people who were unjustly violated and harmed. They need real help and support.

True justice for trafficking survivors will also be found in real safe homes, real resources, and listening to the voices exposing the truth about this industry.

Please note that this is the first version of this article; more information may be added later as this publication is currently sorting through many survivor reports.

To start with, we need to talk about Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, and their involvement with numerous, extremely strange “charitable” organizations that claim to “help” trafficked children.

Sadly, such organizations have often been exploited by predators such as Ghislaine Maxwell (or even started by them), as they can put predators in contact with vulnerable victims and populations, serve as “cover” for criminal activities, and more.

Let’s discuss one of these charities to start with. In 2019, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively donated $1 million to the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights. The organization claims to provide independent child advocates and legal oversight for unaccompanied minor children navigating federal immigration custody.

In addition to the fact that Health and Human Services somehow “lost track of” approximately 300,000 of these unaccompanied minors, many of whom did end up in labor and/or sex trafficking situations according to reporting, and that the prominent Young Center may well have been involved with some of these “lost” children,

There are some very concerning things I identified in their financial public disclosure forms.

Take this phrasing from one of their forms: they claim they assist “young girls who want to live with their traffickers”. Besides the very strange sexist implications here, why would a charity that is supposedly trying to assist children, state that children “want” to live with their traffickers? That is a totally inappropriate and harmful way of phrasing that, and also suggests that this organization may be facilitating keeping children with their traffickers!

They also were not providing numbers regarding the children they supposedly “assisted” in their tax filings before 2024 or so, which is gravely concerning for them to omit considering they were managing massive amounts of money in federal tax-payer money.

Among many concerning things in these filings, the charity strangely also did not list grants dispatched, or contractors that they worked with, despite receiving millions of dollars, and indicated that they had hundreds of volunteers working for them- unusual for a charity receiving close to $100 million in federal grant money alone.

Also, there are major concerns around what kind of qualifications the volunteers needed to “gather” the childrens’ stories, as the organization claims- that is extremely sensitive work that should be dispatched to properly trained and trauma-informed staff, not random people who want to “help” children.

(Note that the founder of this nonprofit spent a significant portion of her time in Israel: “at just 18 years of age, Maria traveled to Israel to live in a Kibbutz, and was there during the 1971 Yom Kippur War”, according to the linked article. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds seem to be big fans and supporters of Israel, IMO- just look at their “ride or die”, major Zionist Ari Emmanuel, a man who also possesses significant ties to Trump!

Now, I have done extensive reporting around this and other strange “anti”-trafficking organizations in the past, which I am linking here. To touch on some of the other important points about these organizations:

• Blake Lively got involved with an organization (Child Rescue Coalition) like this that has an actual human rights watch against it.

• Blake Lively continually donates to and promotes Covenant House, such as in this example, an organization whose founder faced sexual abuse (potentially involving trafficking) accusations from a large number of teens and very young people, and was noted as being accused of trafficking in South America more recently, according to Whitney Webb’s reporting.

• Blake Lively was involved with the charity Baby2Baby, a charity that was accused of a trafficking ploy with a contest for people to submit photos of their children with their faces fully showing (major safety issue), and whose founders have ties to some very questionable people to put it mildly…

In addition, Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds have maintained ties to some major Epstein associates!

For instance, Ryan Reynolds entered a commercial agreement with Richard Branson to distribute Aviation Gin across Virgin Atlantic flights and airport lounges. The partnership was announced via co-branded promotional content. He even filmed commercials with Branson for this…

Interestingly enough, Richard Branson was good friends with Epstein, discussing Epstein’s “harem” and more in extensive communications with Epstein, spent time with Epstein in the Caribbean, has his own private Caribbean island, allegedly hosted and “partied” with the NXIVM sex cult on his island, and much more!

Notably, Ryan Reynolds has not to my knowledge indicated any willingness to apologize, or back way from this partnership in light of increased scrutiny and information emerging around Branson and his Epstein ties in 2026…

Blake Lively also had numerous Epstein associates attending her very intimate events!

Take the intimate celebration Blake had at La Grenouille for her Chanel partnership, for example.

As I describe in this video with extensive sources, guests included Andre Balasz (extremely close with Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein, also faced massive accusations of exploitation), Tory Burch (very friendly with Ghislaine Maxwell, Waris Ahluwalia (former secret service who has unconfirmed allegations of being on flight(s) to Epstein’s island, Katherine Keating (partnered with Ghislaine Maxwell and was seen leaving Epstein’s NYC townhome), and more!

We also cannot forget Blake’s longstanding and close friendship with Harvey Weinstein, whose Epstein ties are not nearly well-known enough.

Now, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds also do not exactly seem “opposed” to child exploitation and/or other strange interactions with children.

Take these strange examples:

• Ryan Reynolds forcing his daughter to repeatedly say a very sexually inappropriate line for a Deadpool movie, that she told him she did not feel comfortable with.

• Blake Lively bragging about her 4-year-old nephew seeing her naked, and talking about feeling “flattered” with his reaction… Guess Ryan doesn’t really do it for her either.

• Blake Lively … talking about dressing up for her son who she says is “romantic”, and enjoying his “romantic” attention and wanting compliments from him?

• Blake Lively talking about the children that were present at their AFTER PARTY. Which is beyond bizarre. Gee, I wonder what was happening at that after party… This did not get anywhere near the attention it should have, in my opinion.

• Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds attending the Club the Box, whose staff openly spoke of the shows that had content related to pedop***** and more…

There was also other reporting I did around this topic, such as Blake and Ryan’s very strange involvement with some “alleged” cults… their secret home in New York, which somehow has the capacity to hold up to 60 people full-time, among other things…

There is more to discuss here, but that will perhaps happen at a later date. What do you all think of these strange events and ties?!

Let’s discuss a man called… Bill Owens. This was Dolly Parton’s uncle, who was an active, working songwriter and musician.

When Dolly was just 10 years old, her uncle secured her a spot performing on a regional radio and TV program in Tennessee (the Cas Walker Farm and Home Hour).

Later, he helped take her to Nashville, where they secured songwriting contracts together, and Dolly.

Dolly ended up being signed to the same publishing company as her uncle.

Pretty convenient to have a relative who is able to get you on the radio at such a young age! Many lifelong musicians never get on the radio, despite trying very hard to do so.

A bit of additional background on Bill: he worked as a guitar player, artist, and songwriter, writing songs for artists such as Kris Kristofferson, Loretta Lynn, Ricky Skaggs, and Porter Wagoner (Dolly’s duo partner). Owens was signed to Combine Music publishing company (under producer Fred Foster), and Dolly was again later signed as a songwriter under Foster, before she landed her first record deal.

Plenty of stage families also put their talented kids in front of executives all the time, and come away empty-handed. This seems to be particularly true for stage families that do not have connections in the industry.

Furthermore:

• Having an adult willing to drive, manage, co-write, and navigate contracts provided a safety net and mobility that a child like Dolly from a low-income family would otherwise likely not have had access to. Many parents in that environment lacked the time, knowledge, or connections to advocate for a child in commercial spaces.

• Having this adult in the family who already understood song structure, performance, and how to pitch meant Dolly received free, direct professional development from early childhood that other kids had to buy, or could not access.

• Owens co-wrote her early material, giving her immediate entry into copyright registration, publishing discussions, and commercial track releases while she was still a youngster, giving her a head start built entirely on a family partnership.

• The vast majority of aspiring performers never get past the front desk or phone line. Owens had already built relationships with regional radio figures in the music industry. He used that existing footprint to physically get her on air, bypassing the cold-open rejection wall that stops almost everyone else.

• He played backup guitar for Dolly (I am assuming for free?! Always helpful for people to have that kind of access to professional musicians..)

Talent and audience response are sometimes necessary to sustain a decades-long career, but they do not necessarily account for who gets access to the stage in the first place. Having an established insider in the family provides an undeniable mechanical advantage over someone starting entirely from scratch..

It seems to me that Bill Owens was pretty responsible for Dolly’s career, and does not seem to have gotten anywhere near the level of appreciation or recognition for that from her over the years. I had no idea who he was til this week, and I make country music and am partly based in Nashville.

I am not saying Dolly was not talented or hardworking, but would she have gotten anywhere close to her level of success without this man? I am extremely doubtful of that.

Now, am I a fan of Dolly Parton? No, no I am not.

While she has engaged in more high-profile philanthropy than many of her peers, it falls far short of what should be expected from someone with an estimated net worth approaching half a billion dollars- wealth capable of driving genuine, systemic change on the national or international level.

Consider recent crisis responses: during the devastating winter 2026 ice storms in Nashville, which left residents stranded without power for over a week and resulted in fatalities, where was her voice?

She failed to do so much as advocate for or support the urgent policy and infrastructure reforms needed to protect vulnerable citizens.

And I am not someone that believes that celebrities always need to donate their money to causes to help others, but they can and should use their platforms to speak out in a much more significant way, if they are not donating to a certain cause.

While this silence was typical across Nashville’s celebrity elite (including people like Taylor Swift, who seem to do the absolute bare minimum of performative “philanthropy”), it is particularly glaring for an artist whose entire brand is anchored in philanthropy. True commitment to public welfare means using one’s platform to demand structural support for people in crisis.

Beyond philanthropy, some of her professional choices raise serious ethical questions:

• Affiliation with Oligarchic Wealth: She was very friendly with, accepted a high-profile platform alongside Jeff Bezos, effectively lending her public goodwill to sanitize the reputation of hyper-wealthy corporate figures.

  It is also my strong opinion that Jeff Bezos would not have awarded her that $100 million he gave her, if he had thought she would actually use that to change society in significant and positive ways, since I am pretty sure Bezos is completely against that kind of action.

• Collaboration with Known Predators: She chose to work directly with Terry Richardson, maintaining a warm professional relationship long after well-documented, widespread allegations of severe sexual misconduct were public knowledge- allegations so severe that major media conglomerates such as Condé Nast (publisher of Vogue) eventually cut ties with him.

  

Condé Nast has so few scruples about who it will continue to work with and platform, including people who were pretty open about their predatory behavior, that it speaks volumes for them to cut ties with someone that Dolly did not, and someone who Dolly has never spoken out about, to my knowledge.

When major publishing houses take a stronger stance against an industry predator than an artist whose image relies on wholesome integrity, it demands scrutiny.

I have no issue calling these dynamics out, regardless of how protective the country music establishment remains of its icons. There is no justification for platforming or validating figures like Richardson, nor is there an excuse for remaining silent on the pervasive exploitation within the entertainment industry. Rather than addressing these systemic abuses, her trajectory suggests a quiet compliance with the very machinery that enables them.

I have also learned that, in my opinion, almost anything that is too good to be true, is too good to be true. It is extremely unlikely for someone from Dolly Parton’s background to be able to break into the music industry and achieve her levels of success, without significant assistance and connections.

I think it was more convenient for the entertainment industry to sell us on this idea of an artist working their way up by their boot straps and living the American Dream, coming from a 2-room cabin, rather than sharing the truth of this person having significant, longstanding connections and help within the industry. Which would probably have made Dolly’s story much less alluring.

Ultimately, the media and the entertainment industry benefit from framing Dolly as the untouchable, gold-standard humanitarian. That narrative serves as a convenient shield, deflecting attention from deeper, systemic corruption and high-level exploitation across the industry while masking the compromises required to stay at the top. I believe she is complicit with this shield.

• The AI Debacle: Trump posted AI-generated images of Taylor dressed as Uncle Sam on Truth Social with the caption “I accept!” Taylor’s response? An extremely milquetoast address of this: ““Recently I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site,” Swift wrote in an Instagram post. “It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation.” (Really? That’s…. all you got, Taylor?!)

• The ICE Commercials: When her music was used for right-wing campaigns and ICE-recruitment, her legal team suddenly forgot how to send the cease-and-desist letters they are so famous for sending people who “infringe” on her merch! Other musicians did speak out, but not Taylor!

• Copied Poster: Trump again copies Taylor’s branding, to only be met by apparent silence yet again!

Apparently, copyright infringement is only a crime if a small Etsy shopmaker or creator does it (and by the way I had an Etsy shop before- not selling Taylor merch though). She’s such a woman of the people, guys!

3. Travis Kelce’s White House Fanboy Moment

You can judge a woman by the man she chooses to let scream-sing Viva Las Vegas next to her. Travis Kelce made his political stance crystal clear when asked about the possibility of Donald Trump attending the Super Bowl.

Did he dodge the question? No. He called it “an awesome, great honor” and practically swooned over the administration. While other athletes were busy boycotting the White House, Travis was ready to roll out the red carpet!

Everyone waited for Taylor- the woman who wrote a supposedly pro-LGBTQ+ song called You Need to Calm Down- to say something.

Harrison astoundingly said, at about timestamp 1:14 here: “Not the deadly sins sort of Pride that has an entire month dedicated to it, but the true God-centered pride that is cooperating with the Holy Ghost to glorify him”…

Taylor’s response? Absolute, deafening silence! I am seeing a pattern! Miss Americana has officially left the chat, replaced by a supportive football partner who nods along. She needed to get that ring from him after all!

5. The “Oh Crap, My PR Team Made Me Do This” Kamala Endorsement

When Taylor finally did endorse Kamala Harris, it had all the passion of a hostage video.

Dropped casually on Instagram late at night after a debate, the endorsement felt a lot like a corporate compliance memo.

It was carefully engineered to do the minimum to stop liberals from withdrawing support, while ensuring she didn’t scare off the millions of MAGA parents currently funding her stadium tours. A risk-assessment strategy!

The Verdict: Taylor Swift doesn’t even need to wear a red hat to be a MAGA Queen, she just needs to keep doing exactly what she’s doing! By sanitizing and right-wing rhetoric, coddling GOP billionaires, and letting the right use her branding and music for campaigning, she’s mastered the art of passive compliance!

Her new music and merch is also the perfect soundtrack for her current right-wing, trad wife era.

6. The “Opalite” Lightning Bolt Merch Drama

If you want to talk about branding accidents that look way too convenient, look no further than the merchandise rollout for her album The Life of a Showgirl. Her team released a necklace featuring stylized, double-lightning bolts to go along with the track Opalite.

Where have we seen these before?! 1945 Germany, perhaps!?

The internet instantly lost its mind because the design bore a deeply uncomfortable resemblance to the Nazi SS insignia. After the backlash, her team quietly scrubbed the item from both the US and German merch stores without dropping a single public statement. Letting SS-adjacent jewelry “slip” through the supply chain is peak passive chaos! (Also pretty amazing that her team was willing to stay on board through this…. I hope I would never!!)

(Oh, and her team released a ridiculous PR “study” trying to claim that the organic commenters who spoke out about this, were bots or fueled by bots… it cited no actual data or real support by the way… bizarre! We have eyes!)

7. The Alt-Right’s Favorite “Aryan Goddess”

Before she was dating NFL players, Taylor was already the “unwilling” poster child for the internet’s darkest corners. Back in the mid-2010s, prominent neo-Nazi bloggers on sites like The Daily Stormer unironically dubbed her a “pure Aryan goddess” and claimed she was a secret right-winger waiting for the political climate to be “safe” to announce her true agenda.

While Taylor eventually broke her silence years (YEARS!!) later in Rolling Stone to call white supremacy “repulsive,” the lyrics on tracks like I Hate It Here, have consistently fed the internet’s criticism-

We wished we could live in instead of this
I'd say the 1830s but without all the racists”

Interesting that she wants to live in a decade where racism, and the subjugation of women in the US, seem to be the defining features. I can’t think of anything else that would appeal to anyone (except extreme right-wing conservatives) about that decade in US history.

Or these lyrics, from her song, “Wi$h Li$t”, where she copied Kesha’s previous use of the dollar sign instead of an S, because Taylor is extremely KeWl and totally original, you guys!!!

”I just want you, huh
Have a couple kids, got the whole block looking like you”

She wants the whole block looking like her white husband?! Sounds like white supremacist-“adjacent” rhetoric to me!

She also appears to have been dissing Travis’ ex Kayla Nicole, even in racially-coded ways… (By the way, Kayla is in my opinion by far the most beautiful and talented of Travis’ current or former partners, by the way.)

Take a look at some of these lyrics, that left Kayla Nicole feeling terrified after the harassment she experienced from Taylor’s scary and often unhinged fanbase, who targeted her after these songs released (Taylor stayed silent as usual!

Far be it from Taylor to speak out against this harassment, and protect an innocent woman, let alone a black woman, from the completely-unearned scorn of Taylor’s fans!

“You were in it for real / She was in her phone / You were just a pose” (These seem to be references to Kayla’s use of a phone on the red carpet)

And

“Sleepless in the onyx night
But now the sky is opalite”….

Very strange, apparent racially-charged lyrics that seem to contrast Kayla’s darker skin with Taylor’s lighter skin.

Not sure Kayla is missing this man, who deemed it appropriate to get so drunk that he nearly fell off a stage and was openly very drunk in front of countless children at their parade!

But what if the people leading the charge, are the same ones standing at the helm of the very charities and institutions that have major documented issues.. and may potentially have been involved with the countless missing children and more in the US?

This series is a deep dive into just some of the professional and institutional history of Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass…

From her legislative work during the Haiti crisis- a period marked by allegations of child trafficking and intense scrutiny of international “adoption” schemes- to her directorships at entities like Vista Del Mar, which has faced scathing audits regarding federal fundings, which it receives for unaccompanied minors and more, the story of Karen Bass isn’t one of reform. It’s a story of proximity, or worse….

When the “advocate” is sitting on the board of the institution that the audit just failed, or when the “legislator” is crafting the policy that funnels millions into the same organizations they’ve personally been involved with, we aren’t looking at a broken system- we’re looking at a closed loop.

It’s time to stop looking at the press releases and start looking at the ledger. This is the truth about Karen Bass, the institutions she shepherds, and the systemic failures for children… and perhaps even the crimes?… that are happening on her watch.

Part 1: The Foster Care/Potential Trafficking Nexus: A Systemic Breakdown

Karen Bass is deeply involved with multiple “charities” that are supposed to “help” foster children and/or unaccompanied minors, and assist with “anti” trafficking efforts…

Remember that a huge number of unaccompanied minors especially remain unaccounted for (ones who were supposed to be taken care of by the federal government) - many of them having been trafficked or even feared dead…

The Vista Del Mar charity in particular is striking because they receive massive federal grant funding and assist unaccompanied minors (there have been major issues in general with the US’s treatment of unaccompanied children and the many missing unaccompanied minors), as discussed further on…

We will talk about with some of the issues with these particular charities, focusing mostly on Vista Del Mar, but let’s first do a bit of background into some of the overall issues with the American systems to help foster children and unaccompanied minors…

The American foster care system and associated charities are often framed as a safety net, but for an high number of vulnerable youth, it functions as a pipeline into exploitation. According to research cited by the National Foster Youth Institute, which Karen sites n the board of, the majority of American sex trafficking victims are drawn directly from this nation’s foster care system. It is a deeply fragmented landscape where thousands of children remain vulnerable to traffickers and are groomed for the illegal sex trade during their most formative years.

The Scale of the Epidemic

The frequency of child sex abuse is an enduring epidemic. Data from the U.S. Department of Justice (per the info above) has shown that since at least 2000, approximately 67 percent of all sexual assaults have been committed against victims under the age of 18. Furthermore, reports from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) indicate that confirmed child sexual abuse cases have numbered approximately 58,000 per year in recent periods. Perhaps most concerning is that experts estimate roughly 80 percent of child sexual assaults go entirely unreported.

The Missing Accountability for Unaccompanied Children

The crisis of child vulnerability extends beyond the domestic foster system into the oversight of Unaccompanied Alien Children (UACs). Following a review involving over 140 individuals from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and other federal agencies, it was determined that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) cannot effectively monitor the status or location of unaccompanied immigrant children once they are released from federal custody!

The scope of this oversight failure is substantial:

• Between fiscal years 2019 and 2023, ICE transferred more than 448,000 UACs to the care of HHS.

• Of those released to sponsors, over 31,000 records contained addresses that were either blank, undeliverable, or missing critical information such as apartment numbers!!

• ICE was not consistently notified of a child’s status or safety unless an external tip or allegation of harm was reported!

Judicial and Administrative Gaps

The regulatory framework designed to protect these youth is failing! ICE has not effectively overseen UACs subject to removal because they have not consistently issued Notices to Appear (NTA) to generate court dates. As of January 2025, ICE had failed to serve NTAs on more than 233,000 UACs. Even when cases reach the legal system, the failure is stark; by October 2024, ICE reported that more than 43,000 UACs who had been served with NTAs failed to appear for their scheduled immigration court dates.

These numbers, while staggering, represent a failure in the most basic duty of care. When a system intended to provide safety, whether through foster care or post-release services, becomes a landscape where children go “missing” or remain unmonitored by those responsible for their protection, the integrity of the entire institutional structure must be questioned.

Part 2: Institutional Failures: The Problems with Karen Bass’s Charity & Unaccompanied Minors…

When we dig into the organizations tasked with protecting our most vulnerable youth, such as unaccompanied minors, the money trail often leads to a pattern of not only missing children, as mentioned previously, but also the kinds of operational chaos, management gaps, and more that can create prime conditions for children to be exploited…

The Vista Del Mar Problem- A Charity Karen Bass is Deeply Involved With!

A case study in some of this dysfunction is Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, an organization that has managed approximately $30 million in federal grant funding for unaccompanied minor-related assistance alone- a staggering number! The data indicates that Karen Bass has served as a Director at Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services!

As you can see per these contracts awarded by the federal government to this “charity”, Vista Del Mar, grants of $15.7 million, $5.2 million, and $4.7 million were awarded for programs related to unaccompanied minors… big red flags in my opinion, especially given the government’s previously mentioned horrible track record on accounting for these children!

Could this charity be responsible for some of these missing children as well? It is certainly interesting that it has received such major federal funding for assist unaccompanied minors:

Please also note that this same charity even promoted Ashton Kutcher’s charity Thorn!! What?!!

Ashton Kutcher has come under a lot of scrutiny for running an “anti” trafficking charity, while writing a letter in support of convicted rapist Danny Masterson, his longstanding close friendship with Diddy, charged with sex trafficking, and much more…

This charity was also tasked with providing “anti” trafficking services…. I was also extremely curious as to whether this nonprofit had been involved with any of the known trafficked, and missing (!!!) children mentioned in this same report….

The audit of this charity also exposed a series of systemic failures that should be ringing alarm bells:

• A “Significant Deficiency” in Controls: An audit of the organization’s federal grant management revealed a “significant deficiency in internal controls” according to the SEFA for the org… A SEFA (Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards) is a vital supplemental financial statement required for nonprofits that expend $750,000 or more in federal awards annually.

• The Paperwork Puzzle: Auditors uncovered a mess of errors requiring numerous revisions to the SEFA, largely because the organization failed to correctly categorize funds, for instance mislabeling significant amounts as simple contract fees rather than federal expenditures…

• Lack of Oversight: The audit pointed to a complete lack of a “knowledgeable independent review” process. There was no rigorous comparison of the SEFA against general accounts (essentially meaning the organization didn’t have a reliable way to track exactly where federal money was going)…

• Risk of Misrepresentation: Because these internal controls were so weak, the organization risked presenting incorrect federal funding data, which could lead to major falsities in how programs are evaluated under federal standards!

  It is also important to note that there was another California facility that has treated treat vulnerable patents with the Vista Del Mar name (it is unclear at this time if they are linked and interwoven with the Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, or not…)

Part 3: The Infamous HAITI Earthquake & “Good Intentions” That Masked Exploitation?!

The aftermath of the 2010 Haiti earthquake serves as a grim case study on how children in humanitarian crises can be exploited under the guise of “saving” them, with high-ranking political figures often sitting at the center of these systems…

Karen Bass, who was a member of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs during the critical post-earthquake period, was positioned within the very apparatus tasked with measuring the progress of relief and reconstruction efforts in Haiti…

Remember Laura Silsby’s missionary group to Haiti, and the major trafficking allegations around there work- which the Clintons assisted her and the missionaries with? Yes. This is THAT Haiti Earthquake- see more information below…

The Silsby Case: Trafficking or “Humanitarianism”?

In January 2010, the earthquake in Haiti created a state of chaos that left millions displaced. Within weeks, Haitian authorities arrested a group of Idaho missionaries led by Laura Silsby for attempting to transport 33 children across the border into the Dominican Republic without proper authorization!

• The missionaries claimed their intentions were purely altruistic, for the establishment of an orphanage, but investigations revealed that none of the children were actually orphans!!

• Evidence suggested these children may have been targets for international trafficking, smuggling, or illegal adoption schemes.

• Despite these red flags, the Haitian justice system, reportedly prodded by diplomatic efforts from President Clinton on behalf of the missionaries, eventually cleared them of most serious trafficking charges, with Silsby receiving only a lesser charge of organizing illegal travel.

• Legal scholars have criticized this outcome, noting that the Silsby case offers a window into how international child placement schemes often disrupt the integrity of poor families under the false justification of “saving” them….

Legislators and the Veil of Oversight

After these controversies unfolded, the House Subcommittee on the Western Hemisphere in 2011, which included Karen Bass, held markups and hearings to oversee the effectiveness of relief, recovery, and reconstruction in Haiti. So Karen Bass served on the committee that oversaw massive international efforts, and had major influence over their proceedings and outcomes…

• The legislative record has shown that many officials were aware of the terrible conditions facilitating exploitation in Haiti, yet the systemic issues, such as the international demand for intercountry adoption driven by Westerners, continued to operate under a veil of supposed “good intentions”.

• The involvement of figures like the Clintons in the diplomatic handling of the Silsby missionaries creates a disturbing narrative of political interference in a matter involving the alleged trafficking of children.

• Child trafficking following the earthquake reportedly continued to rise, despite international “relief” efforts, and with many children going into various types of slavery, again despite supposed efforts to address the major issues stemming from the earthquake, through committees such as Karen’s…

  

I also wanted to note that Karen Bass has been quite an ally of the Clintons! She has publicly participated in various events with the Clintons, such as this event for the Clinton Foundation (below), she received an endorsement from Hillary Clinton in her run for mayor (below), and they seem to be quite cozy!

Please note that the Clintons were also involved with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, and various other “alleged” child traffickers as discussed in coverage across the internet, and some of my own coverage here..

Part 4: Who Is Watching the Store? The Web of Board Memberships and Influence…

When we analyze the professional footprints of public figures like Karen Bass, we often see a recurring pattern: officials who hold legislative power over foster care and human services are simultaneously serving on the boards of the very organizations that operate within those same systems!

In some cases, such organizations (such as ICE discussed above) even have records of record numbers of missing children on the hands of the agencies tasked with protecting them, or there may be trafficking and child exploitation allegations with some of the “anti” trafficking charities as well, such as Covenant House with its founder Bill Ritter…

Karen Bass serves as a case study for this complex web of issues….

Throughout her career in Congress and now as Mayor of Los Angeles, she has maintained a high-profile role as an advocate for foster youth, prominently serving as a Board Member for the National Foster Youth Institute (NFYI), and her other board memberships as discussed above.

The implications of this dual role are significant:

• Conflicts of Interest: When a legislator acts as both an architect of policy and a board member of an organization that relies on the efficacy, and funding, of those same systems, it raises fundamental questions about impartial oversight.

• Karen Bass has served as Mayor of LA and/or a Congresswoman while appearing as a Board Member for a variety of entities that are impacted by the policies (and potentially even the funding?!) she helped to shape and enact, including the National Foster Youth Institute, the Infant Development Association of California, and the previously-discussed Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services, among others… this creates, in my opinion, a large conflict of interest…

  

The Ethics of “Gifts” and Special Access

The scrutiny surrounding political figures often extends to how they interact with institutions. In 2011, the House Committee on Ethics reviewed a scholarship package provided to Karen Bass by the University of Southern California (USC).

• Records indicated that the then-dean of USC’s social work school, Marilyn Flynn, personally granted a full-tuition scholarship to Karen Bass even though she had not formally applied to the program.

• While Karen Bass was not accused of wrongdoing in this instance, the optics of such an arrangement, where a university grants generous, unadvertised benefits to a politician who is a key decision-maker, highlights how access is often forged through a complex system of mutual benefit rather than merit.

Why This Matters

When we look at the big picture, the system is not broken by accident; it is operating exactly how it was designed to function for those inside the loop. We see public officials like Karen Bass who:

1. Draft or enact the laws that govern services (and potentially even funding for those services) for foster children, “anti” trafficking measures, unaccompanied minors, and more…

2. Sit on the boards of the private, tax-exempt entities that execute those services.

3. Receive professional and financial benefits, such as scholarships or board positions, from institutions and universities that hold massive sway and funding in their districts.

If the goal is truly to protect vulnerable children, or to stop the systemic trafficking and exploitation that we know is happening- we need to address these major conflicts of interest within our government and institutions, and come to grips with the true causes of the missing children in the US, and the people behind that…

Rather than using regular emojis like vegetables for their purchases, people buying from the farm stand almost always used “flying money” emojis, and sometimes “pizza” emojis… There were around 100 or more transactions like this, here are just a few…

For instance, it turned out that this Venmo account for the farm… was not actually their public-facing Venmo account! Their public-facing Venmo account is called NorthTisbury-Farm! As you can see here…

That’s right! To the public, they present a different Venmo account that actually had normal transactions for vegetables, and things you would expect to get from a farm!

At least two of the people paying this farm, Jennifer Allan Soros and Nan Cooper Rothschild, come from billionaire families with various links to Epstein and more…

For example, here is an email from Epstein himself about Jonathan Soros (Jennifer’s relative) connecting Epstein with someone (there is more information on the Epstein ties between the Soros family and Epstein, but I found rather focus on the other information contained here):

Now, another one of these individuals publicly paying the account (James Alefantis) has been the subject of extremely disturbing online controversy involving minors, and was mentioned amongst trafficking allegations about others in the Epstein files (among many other things that I will not get into here)

I want to stress again that allegations are not proof, and I am not claiming for a fact that these people committed crimes.

By the way, the domain name for this farm (whippoorwillfarm.com) has gone through some changes throughout the years… for example, it used to talk about a farm in a completely different location (West Virginia), that strongly emphasized the extreme “privacy” of the area … yikes…

Now, there have been a lot of Whippoorwill Farms throughout the years, and while some of these may not be connected, I suspect some of them may be… we can see these apparent business registrations for the West Virginia location as well..

Now, I also found some other very strange things when I was perusing these accounts.

For example, Nan Cooper Rothschild AND Jennifer Allan Soros (mentioned above) had been making similar payments to another business, Old Town Gardens, which appeared to have a similar overall transaction history…

Here is some information for the “Old Town Gardens” Venmo account, which is conveniently also in Martha’s Vineyard…

Now, notice that this is apparently associated with a “Lynne Daniels”. I found it interesting that a Lynne Daniels out of Martha’s Vineyard, is associated with an “After School Program” in the area…

That’s not a red flag or anything… or wait…

What do you all think so far?! There is more than this… But I am tired… yes, I have many, many names around these transactions by the way… it’s currently public information.

Students at Loma Vista Middle School report a culture of fear, ignored sexual assaults, and administrative gaslighting- and these issues appears to only be growing…

Escalating Campus Violence

After ongoing and seemingly escalating sexual violence on campus, a group of students at Loma Vista Middle School in Riverside, CA, took to social media to break their silence and reach out for help. (They are reporting this partly by using the TikTok account, referenced below.) The public posts from this Tiktok account are shared at the bottom of this section. Despite the numerous reports from students about these issues, they appear to have been abandoned by the people paid to protect them…

And yes, I have spoken directly with certain representatives of this movement from the school community, surrounding this situation as well.

According to the students, the alleged sexual violence includes:

• Major Sexual Violence, Few Consequences: An incident in the first semester involving an attempted rape, that apparently resulted only in a brief suspension..

• Ongoing Assault: Non-consensual touching of girls’ inner and outer thighs and waists in classrooms and hallways.

• Domestic Threats: The perpetrator has allegedly threatened to track down victims’ home addresses to commit further acts of violence.

• The “Pass” System: Perhaps most damning, is the report that the student in question has bragged to his peers about being “let out with a pass” after being sent to the office.

  

  

  

  

When students went to “Ms. J” in the administrative office, they allegedly weren’t met with anything close to definitive action or a safety plan.

The administration reportedly told these students that their reports of physical and sexual assault were simply a “telephone game”. One administrator allegedly claimed she “hadn’t heard” the names of victims who had literally been in her office earlier that same day. This appears to be a major cover-up in my opinion, apparently being blamed on selective amnesia by the administration…

The Administrative Gaslighting

Now, the school administration at this school issued a statement regarding what they called “recent social media posts” surrounding the situation. The letter, signed by Ms. Jaqueline Casillas, appears to be a major effort at institutional deflection. According to her, “the allegation was determined to be unfounded” after a “review” was supposedly conducted, potentially in conjunction with the Riverside Police force. (This should not be used as a determining factor, as to the full veracity of these allegations or not).

This was a message from Ms. Casillas, shared with the school community, and posted by the TikTok account for the students…

In the world of compliance and institutional risk management, there is a specific type of language used to bury a crisis. It is designed to make the listener feel like the supposed “adults in the room” have everything “under control”, even as the house burns down.

When an institution uses the word “unfounded,” they aren’t necessarily saying an event didn’t happen. They are saying they have decided, internally, that there is no evidence they choose to acknowledge.

I reached out to the District for comment. I asked for transparency.

I found their response to be shockingly tone-deaf and completely inappropriate for the situation, among other things. The voices of multiple students alleging sexual misconduct, should never be labeled as “misinformation”, “disruptive”, or “harmful”, as the “Assistant Superintendent” of the school labels them here…

The Infinite Loop of Inaction

One of the most chilling parts of this story is the failure of the police “partnership” the school so proudly touts. The students report that they- children- called the police because they didn’t feel safe.

The police, rather than conducting an independent forensic investigation into sexual assault and domestic threats, simply “reported it back to the school”, according to the students’ allegations. The school then allegedly used the police’s lack of action to claim the reports were “unfounded”, and refused to take further action.

This appears to be, in my opinion, a perfect, closed loop of major institutional neglect.

One student noted that they now feel the need to record themselves walking home to ensure they aren’t being followed. This is not the “safe, supportive environment” Dr. Casillas promised in her email. This appears to constitute a Hostile Educational Environment, and under Title IX, it is illegal.

Institutional Inaction & Major Potential Liability

In California, teachers and school administrators are not just “employees”; they are Mandated Reporters under the Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act (CANRA). This is a legal obligation to properly report abuse.

When a student reports that another student touched their inner thighs, attempted rape, or threatened sexual violence, that triggers a mandatory report to local law enforcement or child protective services.

By telling students their claims are part of a “telephone game”, as Ms. Casillas did here, administrators are not just being dismissive; they are potentially obstructing the very reporting process the law requires.

Furthermore, California Education Code §212.5 and Title IX are clear: unwelcome physical conduct of a sexual nature creates a Hostile Environment.

If a student is “scared to go to class” or feels they must “record themselves walking home”, the environment is hostile. The school’s failure to implement so much as a proper safety plan that separates the alleged perpetrator from the victims, is a massive administrative failure to provide equal access to education and more.

Please note that individual school administrators can also be held personally liable in some contexts, if they fail to act on known threats.

The “Privacy” Shield as a PR Weapon

While the school administration cannot necessarily release the perpetrator’s disciplinary records to the public, privacy laws do not prevent a school from protecting victims.

• Privacy laws do not prevent the school from issuing a stay-away order.

• Privacy laws do not prevent the school from moving a perpetrator to a different classroom or school site.

• Privacy laws do not prevent the school from acknowledging that a safety threat exists.

By conflating “privacy” with “silence,” the District is using a federal law intended to protect student records as a cloak to hide their own inaction.

The Uniform Complaint Procedure (UCP): The Paper Trail The School Fears

The District has told the school community that these allegations are “unfounded”. However, under the California Uniform Complaint Procedure (UCP), the District is legally required to conduct a formal, documented investigation upon the filing of a written complaint. (Also, none of this is legal advice, I am not a lawyer, this is my undemanding of the requirements herein.)

If the District truly conducted a “thorough review,” generally-speaking they should have:

1. Conducted a meaningful investigation into the situation, which likely includes interviewing alleged victims, witnesses, and reviewing other evidence.

2. Documented and preserved the reporting the students claim to have made.

3. Issued a written decision within 60 days that can be appealed to the California Department of Education (CDE).

If these steps weren’t followed, then the “thorough review” mentioned in Ms. Casillas’s email was seemingly little more than an internal conversation, designed to make the problem “go away”.

A complainant may appeal a district’s UCP decision to the California Department of Education.

Individual administrators can be named in UCP, as well as Office of Civil Rights (OCR) complaints.

The Cost of Institutional Protection

We have seen this script before: an institution identifies a “problematic” individual, but rather than removing the threat, they choose to “manage” the victims instead. They call the victims’ allegations “misinformation”, and their fear “disruptive”, as shown in the email from the “Assistant Superintendent” above.

But the students at Loma Vista aren’t waiting for a “pass” from the office, and they are speaking directly to the community.

To the parents and students of Loma Vista: the law is on your side, even if the administration isn’t.

The public is watching. And we are not standing down.

The Path to Accountability: A Call to Action

If you are a parent, student, or community member at Loma Vista Middle School, do not let a failed “administrative review” be the final word on student safety, especially when it was conducted by administrators who label student safety concerns as “disruptive” and “harmful”. When local systems fail, we can look to the state and federal levels.

I. File a Formal Uniform Complaint Procedure (UCP)

The school’s public statement is not a legal resolution. A UCP complaint triggers a formal district investigation process, and requires a written decision.

• How to file: The UCP Complaint Form (2025-26) can be used to file.

• The Deadline: The District has 60 days to complete the investigation, unless extended by written agreement.

• The Appeal: If the District still claims the allegations are “unfounded” and a complainant disagrees, they have 30 days to appeal to the California Department of Education (CDE).

Taking to the Streets? Potential Protest Strategy

When an administration refuses to listen to students behind closed doors, the community can speak where they cannot be ignored.

A protest at a middle school requires a specific strategy to ensure the message stays on the District’s failure and doesn’t allow the District to pivot to “safety concerns” about the protesters themselves.

(This is my understanding of the legal requirements around protests here to the best of my knowledge.)

I. The Location: Public Sidewalks vs. School Property

In California, you have a constitutional right to protest on public sidewalks.

• The Boundary: Remain on public sidewalks and avoid entering school property or obstructing entrances, traffic, or pedestrians.

• The Goal: Target Drop-off (7:30 AM - 8:30 AM) or Pick-up (2:00 PM - 3:00 PM). This is when the most parents are present. When they see a line of community members holding signs about student safety, they start asking questions. Those questions can cause many headaches for the school’s administration.

II. Strong Visual Messaging

Avoid cluttered signs. Use high-contrast colors (Black on Neon Yellow, or White on Red) and focus on the Institutional Betrayal.

• “6+ Reports of Assault. 0 Administrative Action.”

• “Is Loma Vista a School or a Shield for Predators?”

• “Our Daughters Are Not a ‘Telephone Game’”.

• “Dr. Casillas: Who Are You Really Protecting?”

• “Title IX Violation in Progress? Look Inside.”

III. The “Silent Witness” Tactic

One of the most effective ways to protest at a school is a Silent Line. Protesters stand six feet apart along the sidewalk, holding their signs in complete silence.

• Why it works: It creates a somber, serious atmosphere that contrasts with the school’s dismissive “misinformation” label. It can force the administration to address the presence of the community, without being able to claim the protesters were “disruptive” or “aggressive.”

IV. Safety and Legal Protections

• Record Everything: Have at least one person dedicated to filming the protest and any interactions with school security or Riverside Police. (But follow all appropriate safety and legal guidelines, such as avoiding filming minors in ways that become harassing; avoiding interfering with school operations; and be cautious about publishing identifiable minors online.)

• The “Agitator” Rule: If school staff or “protected” individuals try to provoke you, one strong strategy is do not engage. Let the signs speak. Your goal is to document their reaction to the truth.

• Flyering: You are legally allowed to hand out flyers on public sidewalks. Print out the UCP Complaint links and OCR filing info to hand to parents in their cars. Distribute flyers from public sidewalks without obstructing traffic or school operations.

V. Coordination with the Students?

If the students on TikTok want to participate, they should know their rights. Under CA Education Code 48907, students often have protected expressive rights, including certain forms of non-disruptive expression, though schools may still impose reasonable time, place, and manner restrictions.

Note to Students: Be careful of traps. The school will look for any excuse to suspend the leaders of this movement. You can let the adults handle the heavy lifting of the physical protest so you stay safe and in school to document what’s happening inside. Students should remain careful to follow school rules and avoid conduct the school could characterize as disruptive.

The administration at Loma Vista believes they can wait this out. They believe that if they try to say this was ‘unfounded’ enough times, the students will get tired and the parents will forget.

They are wrong..

Finally, to anyone who chooses to make false allegations about the students here, such that they are “lying”, please note that your comments are now part of a public, forensic investigation.

California law (specifically AB 933) protects sexual assault survivors from retaliatory defamation claims, and shifts the financial burden to the accuser if they lose.

The Red Flags of “Digital Advocacy”: A Warning on Child Safety

I recently witnessed a digital space where a public figure, Nicholas Ximenez was aggressively soliciting the Personally Identifiable Information of minor female victims, or their parents (which can also easily lead to identifying victims), and minor witnesses to the alleged crimes at the school. Some screenshots provided below. Nicholas is a former presidential candidate with a self-reported background in military intelligence. As a former presidential candidate, he is a public figure.

Below are some of Nicholas’s messages to a group chat about his “desperate need” for some of this information, which he had sent under his TikTok account CivilWarMeter.

To be clear, he does NOT “need” any of this information that he asks for here, and much of this is highly protected, or would be inappropriate information to students to collect or distribute. He is seemingly trying to cast doubt on the stories of the victims by framing things this way as well:

Nicholas acting as a freelance intake officer for minor assault victims in this way is a massive liability. By soliciting these names outside of a professional agency, he is actually putting the victims at risk of having their private details subpoenaed by the defense later, because he has no actual “advocate privilege”.

This means the defense team for the accused can subpoena that person’s DMs, phone logs, and group chat records. By trying to “help” without a legal license, these individuals are inadvertently handing the defense a roadmap to harass or discredit the victims.

He followed this up with another video (which I have downloaded), asking to speak with parents of minor victims and witnesses- again, incredibly inappropriate.

He is asking for this information under the guise of “journalism”- to be clear, this is incredibly inappropriate and likely illegal for this random man to be asking for the names of minor victims. This may have been an attempt at grooming as well..

But sometimes, the most dangerous coordinated influence operations are the most overt. As a journalist, I have to be clear: There is no scenario where a legitimate advocate, investigator, or journalist, requires the names of minor assault victims in an unencrypted group chat or via TikTok DMs.

Identifying the Red Flags

If you are following this case, or any case involving vulnerable populations, please watch for these tactical red flags that someone trying to collect information like this may use or say:

• The “Unification” Trap: Using phrases like “keep the movement unified” to silence those asking about safety protocols, and pretend that there are no concerns about anyone who is part of it.

• Leveraging Credentials: Using a military or political background to bypass the healthy skepticism of parents and survivors.

• Data Harvesting: Any demand for names, addresses, or parent contact info - outside of something like a secure, legal intake process for a real law firm.

His actions may also be a potential breach of professional military conduct and such more.

A Message to Parents and Survivors:

Your story is yours. Your name is your protection. Do not give your information to anyone on social media, regardless of their “rank,” their “candidate” status, or their follower count.

Please also note that legitimate intake involves mandatory reporting duties and professional chain-of-custody for evidence. When a third party, especially one claiming an “intelligence” background, harvests this kind of data, they may likely building a database to use against victims.

Additionally, people with military or intelligence training know about compartmentalization. Bypassing secure, legal channels for this information isn’t “cutting through red tape”, it’s a reckless breach of conduct that can jeopardize a future criminal case.]

I. NEW “Professional” Gaslighting: When Teachers Take Sides

The most disturbing update in this timeline is the reported behavior of Loma Vista staff. Students are reporting now that teachers, individuals who are Mandated Reporters under California law, are allegedly telling children that their lived experiences and the reports of their peers are “lies” and “rumors”.

When a teacher tells a student a report is a “lie” before an independent investigation is complete, they are:

• Violating Mandated Reporting Statutes: Discouraging a child from reporting is a direct interference with CANRA (Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act).

• Creating a Hostile Environment: They are signaling to every student in that classroom that if they are touched or threatened, they will be called a liar by the person in authority.

II. The “External Influence” Operation: Analysis of Influencer Kirstie Gomez, and “Char”

We are now seeing the emergence of a “counter-narrative” fueled by adult community members.

• The Actor: Kirstie: Kirstie Alicia Gomez, a TikTok influencer with over 11,000 followers, has been publicly labeling the students’ testimonies as “all lies”. (Kirstie has now modified her profile bio online, and gone private, after being exposed.)

  Kirstie, who has worked in education, is not merely sharing an opinion; she is engaging in a public smear campaign against minors. This is a classic “Secondary Victimization” tactic used to shield perpetrators by attacking the credibility of the vulnerable.

  These are some screenshots from Kirstie’s TikTok account before she went private and modified her bio, as well as some screenshots of her other social media profiles, and the claims about the students that she was spreading online.

  To be clear, Kirstie Alicia (you can see that name on her LinkTree link) goes by the same name on Facebook, had a very similar photo showing her face there as is shown here, and her username on Facebook is under Kirstie Gomez (username: kirstie.gomez). She also has the same work experience listed there as on Linkedin, where she goes by Kirstie Gomez. This information is all public and fully permissible to publish.

While Ms. Gomez positions herself as an arbiter of truth regarding student safety at Loma Vista, public records (with Offense Code VC 23123.5(A)-I) indicate a documented history of disregarding public safety laws, specifically those governing the use of handheld devices.

It is perhaps fitting that the same device used to violate traffic safety laws, is now apparently being used to violate the privacy and dignity of minor victims. It would be interesting to understand if she was “texting while driving” while she was driving children, given her current and/or past work in education…

There is a deep irony in the digital persona of Kirstie Alicia Gomez. While she appeared to be curating an image rooted in ‘traditional’ family values, the supposed protection of the domestic sphere, and Christian love, her actions in the Loma Vista matter tell a different story.

A true ‘tradwife’ philosophy would prioritize the shielding of young women from physical harm and institutional neglect.

Yet Gomez has used her platform to broadcast the dismissive rhetoric of ‘lies’ and ‘fake news’ against children. It appears her commitment to ‘traditional values’ stops, the moment those values require standing up to a powerful institution or protecting a victim who doesn’t fit a convenient narrative.

Here was her email response to an inquiry and request that she preserve her communications in this matter- she uses white-on-white text here, a tactic consistent with clandestine tracking and harassment. This further demonstrates the coordinated, hostile environment these students (and their advocates) are facing.

• The Actor: @Char58932: Strangely enough, this other person was spreading extremely similar claims to what Kirstie and the school were citing, claiming there was “misinformation” spreading when they contacted another investigator who was highlighting this issue

  This “Char” individual’s involvement highlights the digital nature of this harassment. Spreading misinformation about minor victims on social media platforms can cross into Electronic Harassment (CA Penal Code 653.2).

[UPDATE 5/9/26: Since these accounts surfaced, there have been many other accounts that surfaced, that have been trying to discredit the students, and appear to be connected to the school community. These are being carefully documented and compiled.]

III. The Evidence of a Coordinated Effort

The fact that administrators, teachers, and specific community members are all using the same terminology, words like “lies”, “misinformation”, and“unfounded” allegations, suggests a coordinated effort to suppress the story.

In forensic mapping, we look for “synchronized messaging.” When the school’s clinical PR matches the aggressive social media posts of individuals like Kirstie and Char, it suggests an institutional “green light” has been given to silence the victims.

Note: This investigation has now expanded to include the documentation of third-party interference. Notices have been sent to those publicly disparaging these minors, reminding them of their legal obligations to preserve all communications regarding their ‘liar’ claims and so forth for future Title IX and civil discovery.

The “Call to Action” for Students: Students should be encouraged to keep a “Log of Retaliation.”

• Who said a claim (Examples: Teacher name, Kirstie, Char).

• What was said.

• When and Where (In class? On TikTok?)

• Witnesses: Did other students hear the teacher call it a “lie”?

The Institutional Risk: The school district should note that every time a teacher calls a student a liar, the liability for the district increases. If a child is harmed after being told their previous reports were “lies,” the “Deliberate Indifference” threshold for a massive lawsuit is easily met.

Most organizations and people don’t operate in isolation. They rely on:

• Nonprofit affiliations

• Government funding

• Regulatory compliance

• Public partnerships

That creates multiple pressure points!

Even though some of this article is somewhat geared towards the US, I believe these principles can be applied to organizations throughout the world…

(Important to note: only use this information and these methods to raise legitimate concerns, in an ethical and legally-allowed manner. For example, someone having an unproblematic, and different opinion than you, is not a legitimate concern. Raising non-legitimate concerns, or providing false information, could have negative effects for the person bringing this up [such as being construed as harassment, tortious interference, and more, and having potential legal consequences], so make sure to use this information to raise legitimate concerns only.)

Where People Actually Have Leverage:

1. Nonprofit Boards & Governance

If a problematic executive sits on a nonprofit board (for example):

• That nonprofit has what are called fiduciary duties, and reputational risk exposure. Fiduciary duties of the board members include:

  • Acting in the best interest of the organization

  • Protecting its mission

  • Avoiding reputational harm

• Board members can be removed or pressured if their conduct conflicts with the mission

• Nonprofits are particularly sensitive to:

  • Public credibility

  • Donor confidence

  • Regulatory scrutiny

  That means concerns raised in this context don’t get filtered as “complaints”.

  They get evaluated as risk.

  Media coverage of issues with board members or nonprofits themselves, can also lead to increased scrutiny and negative public perception of nonprofits, that they may want to avoid.

Where to raise concerns:

• Board of Directors (Chair or Governance Committee)

• Executive Director / CEO of the nonprofit

What to highlight:

• Specific conduct that is a problem

• How it conflicts with the nonprofit’s mission or values

• Potential reputational or compliance risk - nonprofit could even lose tax-exempt status in the US, depending!

In the US, when there are concerns about nonprofit or board member misconduct or improper activity, you can file forms like an IRS Form 13909.

This is specifically for:

• Abuse of nonprofit status

• Conflicts of interest

• Activities inconsistent with tax-exempt purpose

Nonprofits and initiatives don’t just run on missions, they run on funding stability.

And funding stability is built on one thing: Donor confidence.

Without it, everything else- programs, staffing, partnerships- can become fragile.

Donors are not passive. Whether they are individuals, foundations, or corporate sponsors, they are constantly evaluating:

• Alignment with their own values or public positioning

• Reputational risk tied to the organizations they support

• Whether their contributions could become controversial

What Triggers Donor Concern

Donor attention tends to shift quickly when there is credible indication of:

• Mission conflict
  (e.g., leadership behavior that contradicts what the organization claims to stand for)

Not every complaint triggers action (some absolutely do, especially if the matter is serious!) but:

Institutions move when something looks like a liability…

Anyway, the architect of some of the family wealth (and other connections?), appears to be James (Michael) McAlpin. He is a relative of the Lively family, as listed per the link and below, on Blake’s brother Eric’s profile. Michael and Autumn (Michael’s wife) also featured relative Robyn Lively in their film, Miss Arizona (2018).

One of the most interesting things to me about Michael… is his very curious work history…

To my eyes, it again appears to be a blueprint for a Vertical Monopoly, designed to capture dollars spent at all different parts of a vulnerable person’s journey through the healthcare system…

Since there appears to be so much very concerning overlap between some of these businesses he has been and is involved with, I am posting the entire work history here so that other sleuths may also take a look.

I. The Infrastructure of Control

To understand the McAlpin machine, one must investigate Michael’s very interesting business plans…

Most people in business own one part of a chain.

But Michael McAlpin appears to own whole, integrated chains in healthcare, leading to potential major conflicts of interest… for instance, he is involved with…

• Healthcare Software: As a co-founder of Alleva, Michael built the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software that thousands of rehab centers use to bill insurance. From their website:

  

• Healthcare Administration: As an executive at Hi-Tech Health, he manages the systems for Third-Party Administrators (TPAs), Carriers, and more - people who decide which insurance claims get paid.

Some info from the Hi-Tech Health website:

• Healthcare Facilities: Through Kiron Capital and Cason Road Healthcare, he has been a principal investor in the actual nursing homes and skilled nursing facilities where patients stay.

  

  

• Healthcare Staffing: And through Michael’s private equity firm Kiron, their firm doesn’t just invest in all these other aspects of the healthcare pipeline; they also invest in / own staffing agencies that provide medical staff! (more information below…)

  By owning medical staffing agencies, they can potentially hire their nurses at their own facilities. This also allows them to move money from their “Healthcare” bucket to their “Staffing” bucket, effectively hiding profits from state auditors who look for “excessive earnings” in nursing homes.

  If a nursing home is short-staffed (a common complaint in PE-owned facilities), the profit can increase. This is from his company Kiron’s website:

  

• Medical Transportation: At one point, Michael even worked as CTO for American Logistics, a medical transportation company, so he has been involved in the transportation side of healthcare as well!

  

When you have ownership over the software that bills, the system that pays, and the building that treats, not to mention profit from the staff hired on the back-end, you have created what people in finance might call a “perfect” business.

In the world of healthcare, there is another name for that: An alleged monopoly. Multiple potential massive conflicts of interest.

In theory, by owning business that make up these different parts of this system, Michael and his partners could theoretically set their own prices, approve their own treatments, and pay their own bills. This is additionally “high stakes” because it creates a massive incentive to keep patients in facilities longer than necessary to maximize the insurance payouts. This is a practice sometimes called, “patient churning.” There is a reason that private equity has been linked to harm to the healthcare system and patients!

To recap, let’s take a look at the vast parts of the system that Kiron invests in (and you can view the other companies that has been or is involved with, above…)

II. The “Philanthropic Shield”: The Ghost of the McAlpin Philanthropies

Every high-stakes corporate machine needs a humanitarian front. This is where Michael’s wife, Autumn McAlpin, and her production company, Side Gig Productions, apparently come in.

Autumn’s public identity is built on philanthropy. Yet her and Michael’s “nonprofit” Aspire Higher, is nowhere to be found in public registries- nor did any businesses with that name surface that seem to fit the profile of being part of a broader nonprofit umbrella).

She has also worked as a community liaison, and later on the board, at Family Assistance Ministries, and created the aforementioned movie (Miss Arizona), featuring a narrative about women in crisis.

It would seem she is in a massive position of trust with survivors of domestic violence, trafficking, and other difficult situations that may require various community services, including potential stays in healthcare facilities (more on that soon).

(Please note that on the website for Sidegig Productions, Autumn notes that she has been particularly involved with initiatives to end child trafficking. Sounds pretty familiar, as Blake Lively has been heavily involved with charities that profess to try to end child trafficking as well…)

There are serious concerns to me about some of this work, that I will explore below.

As a community liaison for Family Assistance Ministries, Autumn is able to connect people in need with services such as healthcare in their communities.

However, if those healthcare services are provided by facilities owned by Michael McAlpin, or are ones that he profits from… then there can potentially be a predatory referral loop. Autumn’s philanthropy could essentially provide leads for “customers” for Michael’s businesses (in theory…)

III. The Vault: South Dakota and Real Estate Questions

Where does all this “vertically integrated” money go, potentially? It doesn’t necessarily stay in California or Utah, two of the family’s main bases... A very interesting address appeared for the family in public records out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Sioux Falls has become a very popular international hub for asset shielding. According to CNBC, “South Dakota, in particular, has become a ‘major destination for foreign assets,’ according to the Pandora Papers, with 81 trusts named in the report. The state’s trust assets have more than quadrupled to $360 billion over the past decade. These trusts can make it easier for someone to shield money from ex-spouses, estranged business partners and other judgments.”

To be clear, a South Dakota Trust for the family remains unconfirmed, but this seems to be the most likely explanation for the Sioux Falls address…

Within the McAlpin family, there is also a consistent observable pattern of Property Cycling. Residential homes are moved between the McAlpins and a small circle of holders-such as Leon and Ruby Paige, and Devin and Kristin Ernst.

Here are some examples- there were many more in their real estate filings:

This “musical chairs” with real estate could potentially be a strategy to keep the assets in a constant state of flux. It makes the family look “asset poor” on paper while their (potential) South Dakota Trust remains a shielded vault…

IV. Conclusion: Success at What Cost?

A number of the Lively family members have had a good deal of success in entertainment and other industries.

But the “McAlpin Multiplier” suggests that the dream may be partly powered by something much more hidden, and potentially very harmful: the consolidation of healthcare businesses, the potential harvesting of insurance claims, and the potential tactical use of philanthropy to mask a private equity machine… and more?

(I will also mention that both Michael and his wife Autumn had various criminal records that surfaced in the investigation. I did not dig too deeply into these [some did not have the information readily available], and they may not be noteworthy at all [potentially things like minor traffic violations]. I thought this was worth mentioning.)

As we dig deeper into the corporate registries of California, Utah, South Dakota, and the other spaces where the family appears to have business or other operations, we have to ask: who is really being protected and served by this architecture they have built? The vulnerable people the family claims to serve? Or the assets they’ve seemingly spent decades hiding?

Despite running in a district rated ‘Solid Republican’, Aguirre has already gone through a staggering 96% of her ~$108,000 war chest, sending thousands of dollars to unusual places like an out-of-state, massive Denver-based real estate conglomerate, and even a shadowy ‘ministry’ in California, that seems to be trying to erase its digital footprint..

Public records and digital footprints also suggest an absence from WV (despite what her LinkedIn may indicate?), during which she may have significantly interfaced with out-of-state corporate interests, perhaps through her “transformation coaching”…

There is also the question of the projected $30 billion data center that is currently being proposed for this specific county in West Virginia, which would be one of the biggest investments in this category in the state’s history!

I had been encouraged to look into her, after being informed about some unusual payments her campaigns was making, per FEC disclosures (discussed below)!

(Also, for towns of <2,000 people, and 400 people, Logan [Britta’s current town in WV] and West Logan, respectively, seem to have turned out to be locations of significant political activity, and there is a lot to discuss on that matter, as well….

For instance, the very small West Logan is the location of a PAC (Turn Left PAC) that appears to be connected to Britta, and has had over a million dollars in donations in a very short time [despite just launching in 2023].)

While Turn Left PAC markets itself as a progressive engine for change, its own FEC filings reveal that for every $100 the PAC spends, less than $3 goes toward supporting a candidate. The remaining $97 goes into a network of what appear to be ‘ghost’ vendors and LLPs, including Y&M Collaborative and David Graham LLP, effectively turning ‘activism’, into what maybe be a lot of income for a small circle of operatives in West Virginia…

Now, about Britta Aguirre…

For the recipients of some of Britta’s campaign spending, these are of particular note:

• Misfit Ministries, a church … which is based in…. a large suburb of the Bay Area, Lafayette, California?!

• MDC Group, a large U.S. home builder that was later acquired by multi-billion dollar Sekisui House, out of Japan… this payment filing here noted that the payment was made to an entity based in Denver, Colorado….

• Y & M Collaborative, a secretive firm registered in Delaware, that has apparently been involved with various political campaigns….

  Payments are shown below….

Before we discuss more about these businesses, however, it is important to discuss what appears to be one of the most alarming aspects of Britta Aguirre’s campaign…. the high-volume, low-transparency financial Turn Left PAC apparently connected to her…

This PAC, again based out of the same extremely small area (Logan/West Logan) where Britta is located, was found tucked away in the filing disclosures for Y&M Collaborative, one of the entities that Britta’s campaign paid out…

Here is the filing showing the payment from Y&M Collaborative, which Britta’s campaign paid as described above, to Turn Left PAC…

• Operating out of a modest residential house at 414 3rd Ave, West Logan, WV, in the town of 400 people, this PAC has handled well over a million in national expenditures (highly unusual), despite again, just being formed in 2023. Curiously, it reports the bulk of income in “Other Receipts”- a tactic that to my knowledge, can be used to mask corporate transfers as non-individual income.

• That “small percentage” note can be significant red flag in campaign finance.

  When a PAC like Turn Left raises over a million dollars, but only spends a tiny fraction of that on actual political contributions or independent expenditures (like ads for candidates), that may tell you that the PAC’s “Major Purpose” may not be winning elections, but rather funding the lifestyle and businesses of the people running it.

  

  Here are some possible explanations for what may be occurring with their very strange financial records:

  The “Operating Expense” Loophole:

  FEC records for Turn Left PAC showed over $1 million in disbursements for 2025 alone, but look at the breakdown:

  • Contributions to Other Committees: Only $5,150 (less than 1% of total spending).

  • Independent Expenditures (Like Ads): Only $18,856 (~1.8%).

  • “Other” & Operating Disbursements: Over $975,000 (~95%).

  The Takeaway: When 95% of the money goes to “Operating Expenses” and “Other Disbursements,” the PAC may be acting as a private hedge fund for the founders.

  The money flowing to vendors like Y&M Collaborative and David Graham LLP (potentially for things like “consulting” or “digital services”) seems to result in little in ads or campaigning for candidates.

  

  

  The “Other Receipts” Mystery ($989,000+):

  The PAC reported nearly $1 million in “Other Receipts” in 2025. In standard PACs, “Other Receipts” may be from things like interest from a bank account, refunds, sale of assets...

  • Since a PAC of this size doesn’t make $989,000 in something like bank interest, this money may be from Inter-Committee Transfers, or perhaps Corporate “Wellness” Contracts being channeled into the PAC to be “cleaned”.

  • This is where the MDC Group/Richmond American Homes connection may come back in. If those executives or their Japanese parent company (Sekisui House) want to influence WV politics without their name appearing on a donor list, they may pay a “consulting fee” to an entity that then moves that money into the PAC as an “Other Receipt.”

    

  Turn Left PAC is also registered as a Hybrid PAC (also known as a Carey Committee).

  • These have two accounts: one for direct candidate contributions (limited) and one for “Independent Expenditures” (unlimited).

  • The people behind the PAC, may use the “unlimited” account to pay themselves salaries and “consulting fees” … perhaps under the guise of preparing for future “independent” work that may or may not happen. There is unfortunately a very small disbursement of money to actual political contributions happening here…

  Moreover, as of early 2026, the “Brit for WV” campaign committee has spent 96% of its $108,000 budget. In a “Solid Republican” district where her victory is statistically improbable, such a high burn rate suggests the campaign.. could be functioning as a wealth transfer mechanism rather than a political operation.

  Let’s discuss another important entity here: David Graham LLP: This is a primary payee for the PAC. No such legal entity exists in major state registries (CA, DE, CO, WV). This points to either a “ghost firm”, or a poorly disguised DBA for David Austin Graham, who appears connected to the address on file for the PAC in a search online, and appears to be a seasoned Logan political operative who may act as the network’s local “fixer.”

Here was one apparently Colorado-based David Graham LLP I found online (not registered in the Colorado state database, however), which appears to be for a business operating almost 20 years ago.

It is unknown if this is the same “David Graham LLP” as the current one being discussed. There was also a “David A. Graham” that formerly held a legal license in Colorado, according the database of lawyers registered in Colorado. The Colorado connection did seem consistent with other information related to Colorado that will be discussed here, so it is possible this is the same or a similar business..

David Austin Graham, does appear in the voter registrations for Logan County, WV.

This appears to be his LinkedIn profile…

Let’s go back to Britta, now.

While her LinkedIn suggests she remained in WV for much of the past 15 years, business registries show identically-named “Healing Hands” business entities popping up in Michigan (2012), Florida (2020), and Colorado (2019). While not all of these may be her businesses, it is suspected that at least the CO and FL entities are hers, as they share the exact same name as her WV business, and were formed around a similar time…

Now, there can be a lot of explanations for registering the same business/business name in multiple states. But in keeping with the other indices shown here, this may be part of a greater pattern of concerning activity….

Here were some of the entities with the same, or similar names, and dates of formation…

Here is some of the business information for Britta's business based out of WV… company addresses were partially redacted.

• The Colorado Nexus: Over the past 5 or so years, Aguirre indicated she functioned as a “transformation coach”… perhaps for high-level executives such as at MDC Group/Richmond American Homes, one of the entities that her campaign paid out money to… again, this is now owned by multi-billion dollar real estate giant & Japanese firm Sekisui House.

• The Return: She graduated from a local West Virginia massage school in 2023, just in time to launch a Congressional bid…

Now, some of the physical operations of this network appear to be anchored by Thomas Aguirre, an apparent family member with an interesting documented history, including what appears to be a burglary charge for him.

Thomas may serve as the custodian of the network’s land assets- he and partner Barbara, own many properties throughout the area, including:

• Main Logan Hub: Of Thomas’s various properties throughout Logan County, a massive manor stands out that may serve as a command center. A nearby location to this home has been used to register various business shells. These addresses are not being divulged at this time, to respect privacy.

• Remote Holdings: Thomas also manages multiple “random” parcels and mobile home sites in unincorporated areas (Forest Hill/Summers County). In investigations, these sites can sometimes be flagged as “containment” or “processing” locations, away from law enforcement scrutiny…

• Thomas (and sometimes Barbara) own various other properties throughout Logan County, which could be used for all kinds of purposes, including housing volunteers or other workers, and many more activities…. some of these properties are very close together…

• Interestingly, at least one of these properties that Thomas and Barbara owned, appears to have been flipped back-and-forth between different owners and entities, which can sometimes be a sign of concerning financial activities around the real estate…

  Although the address information is being protected for privacy reasons, here is the burglary charge, which may be for Thomas…

Perhaps the most unusual disbursement in the Aguirre filings was the money sent to Misfit Ministries in Lafayette, California.

Sending Appalachian campaign funds back to a wealthy California suburb’s ministry, suggests a potential “lifestyle subsidy”, or a “spiritual tithe”. This could be allowing Britta’s campaign to move money back to a prior hub that has tax-exempt status… It is also possible, that the people behind the ministry were the ones who recruited Britta for this kind of campaign, as that is not uncommon…

The California Ministry may also be providing some of the “volunteers” (labor) for the campaign, potentially housed through Thomas Aguirre, whose large amount of properties in the area were discussed in the prior section.

As far as MDC Group goes, it is possible that these have been involved due to the great interest in land developments like data centers in places like Logan County…

If Britta Aguirre is sending campaign funds to the Denver headquarters of MDC Holdings, she may even be a contracted agent for the very power players who are currently inserted in reshaping the Appalachian landscape.

By funding a candidate who owns the “local” properties (through apparent family member Thomas) and is apparently connected to the “local” PAC (through David), the company may be attempting to purchase some of the political and physical infrastructure of the district, especially for some of the massive, upcoming developments being proposed in the area, discussed more below…

Now, the purpose of the donation was said to be for “Data Acquisition and Text Consulting”.

This payment may suggest the campaign is buying the MDC executive contact list or their “Private Client” database. This isn’t necessarily about reaching voters; it’s about reaching out-of-state donors. (By labeling it “Data Acquisition,” this can also make a payment to a corporate ally look like a normal campaign expense.) However, Britta may also be using their lists to target high-income donors, effectively importing Colorado money into West Virginia under the radar.

“Text consulting”, the other label applied here, can be one of the most loosely defined categories on an FEC report, and the vague description may be a red flag, as well as an indication of the potential alignment of the campaign, with the real estate group’s interests…

Additionally, if the Misfits Ministry or another out-of-state entity provided the “volunteers” or “staff” for the campaign, those people need a way to be paid or managed. “Text consulting” can be a way to hide remote management fees…

Now, Britta’s campaign theme is “People over Profit”, according to her website, however…

• Paying a multi-billion dollar real estate conglomerate for something like “consulting”, seems to be the ultimate contradiction with that!

• If she is paying MDC Group, she is seems to be subsidizing the types of corporations she claims to fight. This suggests her rhetoric, may simply be a populist mask, designed to win over Appalachian voters while she remains aligned with corporate interests..

  Since Turn Left PAC is using “David Graham LLP” as a vendor, and that LLP appears to be a shell for David Austin Graham (who lives at the PAC house), the “data” being acquired from MDC, may also be being directly funneled directly to him.

  Graham may even be using MDC’s corporate data to build a synthetic political movement in West Logan…

  Now, while Sekisui and MDC are primarily residential homebuilders, their potential involvement in this region could again be tied to a massive, potentially $30 billion dollar data center project that has been fast-tracked by state officials. The projected dollar figure comes from this article…

  In late 2024 and throughout early 2026, West Virginia officials (including Governor Morrisey and Senator Capito) were discussing this “generational” private investment in Logan County.

  • The Concept: The multi-billion dollar data center would be supposedly powered by its own “microgrid.” This microgrid would use a mix of local coal and renewable energy to provide the massive, consistent power load required for AI and cloud computing.

  • The “High Impact” Designation: Recent legislation (HB 2014 and the Power Generation and Consumption Act) was specifically designed to allow “High Impact Intelligence Centers” to bypass certain regulatory hurdles. A data center in Logan County is the primary candidate for this, and with the estimated value of $30 billion, this would likely be one of the largest private investments in state history.

  While MDC Group may be a residential giant, their parent company, Sekisui House, is a global leader in “industrialized” and “modular” construction.

  • Data Center Infrastructure: Modern data centers are increasingly built using modular, prefabricated steel frames- a technology that Sekisui House has pushed in Japan.

  • The “Housing” for the Workforce: If a $30 billion project lands in Logan County, it could create thousands of construction jobs and hundreds of permanent tech positions. MDC/Sekisui would be a logical partner to build the massive amount of high-tech, sustainable housing (Zero Energy Homes) required to support that new workforce.

  • Strategic Land Banks: MDC Group is also known for its aggressive land-acquisition strategy. By acquiring parcels in Logan and Peach Creek (potentially through the “Aguirre/Graham” network), they could secure the “buffer zones” and residential footprints needed surrounding a massive industrial project like a data center!

  Now, the campaign disbursement for “data acquisition and text consulting” paid to MDC Group in Denver, may also be related to this.

  • In large-scale land development, “Data Acquisition” can refer to Geographic Information System (GIS) data, property valuation modeling, or “voter/resident sentiment mapping.”

  • MDC likely holds the sophisticated data models needed to determine where to place a massive data center and its associated microgrid, while triggering less local resistance- or, conversely, identifying which residents to target with “text consulting” to build support for the project.

  While a data center is the most discussed “High Impact” project, other industrial developments are moving into Logan County:

  • US Gearworks: A new manufacturing facility for industrial gears and fabricated parts is currently under construction in Logan County (expected to be functional in late 2025/early 2026).

  • Microgrids: The state is looking for sites to build natural-gas-run power plants (microgrids) to support the power-hungry data industry.

  Another step, which was not completed at the time of this article, would be to see if any sponsors of these developments, have received donations from MDC Group, Sekisui House, or related entities!

For the final business being discussed here that received disbursement from Aguirre’s campaign, Y & M Collaborative… it was difficult to find detailed information initially, but I found it interesting that the name seemed to have some overlap with a Japanese brand agency, especially given the fact that a previous business discussed in this article, MDC Group, was acquired by a Japanese real estate company…. For informational purposes, that agency seems to specialize in “exclusive” brand consulting, and event production for clients like luxury hotels, restaurants, and other corporate clients in Japan.

At the time of the creation of this publication, it was decided to not pursue Y&M too much further, due to other time constraints. However, the LLC appears to have been associated with various campaigns in the past (such as Ike McCorkle out of Colorado, and Tamie Wilson out of Ohio), as noted in the previous filing provided for the company, shown at the beginning of this article…

So, what is the conclusion from all of this?

The evidence suggests potentially that this may all be part of a coordinated “Infiltration Model”. A charismatic “healer” may have been deployed back to her home state, to act as a populist front for the interests (like real estate?) that she also may have served through her transformation coaching, in places like Colorado.

Colorado, again, is a place where she seems to have registered a business, a place that may be the source of the “David Graham LLP”, and a place where Britta may have become connected with certain corporate interests such as MDC Group (which, again, her campaign paid out money to them via their Denver address).

Given the current, documented interests in various land developments (like massive data center infrastructure and much more) in Logan County, WV, through Britta, the MDC Group/Sekisui House may also be attempting to influence and obtain certain land development deals, and to potentially obtain control over a substantial amount of the county’s land holdings, especially given Thomas Aguirre’s real estate holdings of the area.

By leveraging the “Turn Left PAC” potential shell, potential corporate real estate backing, and the physical properties managed by Thomas Aguirre, the network could have created a self-contained ecosystem that can raise, “clean,” and spend corporate money, under the guise of Appalachian advocacy…

By the time most people hear about them, decisions are already in motion.

If you want to meaningfully intervene, the key is not just understanding the issue, it’s knowing exactly what to do, in what order, and where your leverage actually is.

This is a practical, step-by-step playbook you can follow.

For reference, I have worked on permitting and planning around massive projects that received national attention, in tech (including Big Tech/FAANG), and on major depositions involving land impacts.

Remember that no company that is trying to introduce a data center, is invincible. Many of them must rely on public goodwill and much more to be successful. There are a lot of resources that communities can invoke to block harmful data centers…

STEP 1: Confirm What’s Actually Being Proposed

Before organizing anything, get precise information.

Do this immediately:

• Go to your city or county website:

  • Search: “planning commission,” “zoning,” or “development applications”

• Look for rezoning requests, site plans, and Conditional Use Permits (CUPs)

Tip: Advocate for CUPs being used here! This can force case-by-case approval, instead of automatic approval…

• Identify:

  • Exact address of data center(s)

  • Parcel number(s)

  • Developer name(s)

  • Timeline for hearings or votes

Then, call or email the planning department and ask:

• “What approvals are required for this project?”

• “When are the public comment periods and hearings?”

  Retain information in writing.

This tells you some ways you can intervene, and how much time you have.

STEP 2: Identify the Decision Makers

You need to know exactly who has the power to approve these centers.

Identify:

• Planning commissioners

• City council members (or county commissioners)

• Zoning board members

Then, map who represents your district, and write down their names, emails, and office numbers.

These are the people you will contact repeatedly about these issues- in respectful, appropriate, legal ways of course.

STEP 3: Start the Paper Trail (Public Records Requests)

This is one of the most underused but powerful steps.

File a public records request (FOIA or equivalent) asking for:

• Emails between the developer(s) to/from city officials, and the developer(s) to/from utility companies

• As well as any:

  • Incentive agreements

  • Tax abatements

  • Infrastructure planning documents

You may uncover pre-approval bias, undisclosed incentives, and hidden utility deals.

These can give you leverage and credibility when opposing these projects.

STEP 4: Check the Zoning (Critical Step)

Go look up the zoning for the property where the data center is going in.

Ask:

• Is a data center explicitly allowed here?

• Is it being categorized as “light industrial” or something vague? Pushing for stricter zoning definitions can be key here. Require “data centers” to be explicitly defined (not lumped under something like, “light industrial”).

If rezoning of the property is required, this can be your strongest opportunity to stop or delay the project!

Actions:

• Compare the project to the city’s comprehensive plan

• Identify inconsistencies (e.g., residential or agricultural area, vs industrial use)

STEP 5: Force More Review (Slow the Process)

Speed is the developer’s advantage. Your goal is to slow things down!

Do the following:

Request a full Environmental Impact Study (EIS)

Ask for:

• Water usage analysis

• Energy demand analysis

• Noise studies

Air quality concerns can also occur from things like diesel backup generators.

Data centers can also result in stormwater & heat island effects (large concrete footprints increase flooding risk), and wildlife / habitat disruption claims.

If these are missing or weak, raise those issues in writing and at hearings

Local environmental lawyers and nonprofits may be able to help at no cost. But, be careful who you trust!

Ask officials, “why was a full environmental review not required?”, if they try to claim that that was the case..

STEP 6: Show Up and Speak (Public Comment Strategy)

This is where most people underperform.

Do NOT just show up once.

Attend:

• Planning commission meetings

• City council meetings

Coordinate with others so that multiple people speak each time

Structure your comments:

1. State your name and residency

2. Reference the specific project

3. Raise ONE clear issue per person, such as:

   • Zoning inconsistency

   • Water usage

   • Noise

   • Tax incentives

Keep it tight and repeatable. Volume matters more than perfection. As always, keep comments respectful, appropriate, and within legal bounds.

Flood public comment periods.

Request public hearings if not already scheduled.

Challenge incomplete applications, that may have things like missing studies, vague filings.

STEP 7: Contact Officials Directly (Repeatedly)

Do not rely on public meetings alone.

Email and call:

• Planning commissioners

• Council members

Your message structure can look something like this:

“I am a resident in [district]. I oppose/support further review of [project name]”

[Include 1–2 specific concerns]

Here is an example template shared by Jake Eubanks, with slight edits:

“_____ am writing to you express my concerns about the data center proposal from [developer]. _____ object to the construction of any facilities in or near our cities wellfield, which may store any contaminants which present any risk to the future of the quality of [nearby water bodies]. This is unacceptable.

_______ would also like to express concerns regarding the lack of transparency from [developer] regarding the methods they will use for cooling said data center. Reports around the country consistently condemn these centers for their lack of transparency regarding water and energy use, and the dark sky impacts of their facilities. [Cite stats]

It is also concerning that [developer] was only created on [date] and is a registered LLC to [company]. This lack of transparency is clearly meant to confuse residents as to who the agency is constructing this center.

As a concerned citizen of [area], _____ request that you vote against the proposed data center.”

Make sure to follow up multiple times, and encourage others to do the same!

Consistency creates pressure.

Local officials are often the decision-makers.

Other tips:

Organize residents by district: Target specific council members

Show up repeatedly: Consistency can be better than one viral moment

Election pressure: Make this an issue in local races

Coordinate with planning commissions

Use petitions (strategic, not just symbolic): Tie them to specific votes or hearings. Spreading these can also help raise awareness…

STEP 8: Expose the Financial Reality

This is one of the most persuasive angles. Following the money resonates with both officials and the public.

Find out:

• Are there tax breaks?

• How many jobs are promised?

• What infrastructure is being funded publicly?

Demand transparency on tax incentives- data centers often get huge subsidies that may harm communities. “Minimal jobs, massive tax breaks” is a strong argument.

Compare cost vs benefit. Data centers often create few jobs, and use huge community resources…

Highlight infrastructure costs: Roads, power upgrades often subsidized by taxpayers!

Track campaign finances: Donations from developers or utilities often show up….

STEP 9: Bring in Media and Public Visibility

If projects stay hidden, they can be easier to approve.

Make sure to contact local journalists, content creators and influencers, and other interested parties in the media..

Pitch specific angles such as increased water usage, tax incentives that also contradict any potential economic benefits, and impacts on neighborhoods.

Use social media and online resources to share:

• Before/after visuals

• Maps showing proximity to homes

• Key documents

• Meeting clips and follow-up contacts

Highlight quality-of-life impacts such as noise (24/7 hum), property values decreasing, and detrimental aesthetic impacts

Increased visibility can change how officials respond!

STEP 10: Build a Coalition (Don’t Do This Alone)

You will almost certainly need more than individual voices to get these things done. But it may not take much.

Reach out to these groups who may be affected, or otherwise concerned:

• HOAs

• Environmental groups

• Farmers / nearby landowners

• Local business owners

• Energy ratepayer advocates

Show how this project affects multiple groups, not just one

STEP 11: Engage the Utility Side

Data centers require massive electricity and water.

Find out which utilities are involved, and whether approvals or rate changes are required. Then, submit comments to utility regulators.

Raise concerns about grid strain, and cost shifting to residents,

As well as water usage challenges:

• Many data centers use millions of gallons daily

• Argue strain on local supply

Utilities can be key players who can:

Intervene in utility commission proceedings: Especially for large power allocations

Challenge special rate deals: Data centers sometimes get discounted electricity

Argue cost shifting: Again, residents may be subsidizing corporate energy use

When wealthy inhabitants realize that they may incur massive costs from data centers going in, this can be a key group to get on your side and leverage support from (if they did not otherwise care about a data center).

This is a second pressure point outside local government.

STEP 12: Use Appeals or Legal Options (If Needed)

If the project is approved, immediately check if there is an appeal window?

You can appeal the approval, and challenge projects through:

• Land use lawsuits

  • Improper zoning approval

  • Failure to follow procedure

• Environmental law claims

  • Inadequate review

• Procedural errors made

• Nuisance claims

  • Noise, pollution, etc.

Even the threat of this, can slow or reshape projects.

STEP 13: If It Can’t Be Stopped - Negotiate

If approval is very likely, shift strategy.

Push for:

• Noise limits (with enforcement) - target generator noise + cooling systems

• Landscaping buffers

• Distance from homes

• Height and footprint limits (sometimes already in place in a community)

• Water usage limits

• Community benefit agreements with contracts and concrete benefits mapped out

These conditions can have long-term impacts on the viability and success of the data centers. Also, if conditions become too expensive for companies to put in the data center and be in compliance, they may eventually scrap the data center project entirely.

FINAL STRATEGY (What Actually Works)

The most effective efforts to block data centers, combine:

• Zoning challenges (legal leverage)

• Environmental pressure (technical scrutiny)

• Financial arguments (public impact)

• Consistent political pressure (organized residents)

Not necessarily just one, ideally all of them together.

Bottom Line

Data centers are not inevitable. and communities have a lot of power to push back, and change or block projects completely. Much more so than many people realize.

These data centers are approved through extended processes at the local level, and those processes can be influenced.

The communities that succeed are not necessarily the loudest, they are the ones that are:

• Organized

• Persistent

• Procedurally informed

And most importantly,
they act early.

These researchers included people from all political backgrounds.

I have covered some of this information in my content. More on that later.

Now, people rightfully raised their concerns about this information at the time.

The mainstream media, largely owned by billionaires of course, largely and falsely claimed that the evidence for this large, “alleged” trafficking network, was based on only a few ambiguous leaked emails.

This was so. Far. From the case.

And there was information exposed that was related to other potential crimes as well.

The media also falsely claimed that a certain business that was implicated in this situation, “did not have” a basement - yet that claim was also proven false. At least, the business owner had previously gone on record to state that yes, his business had a basement…

Now, a large amount of people, who had not seen the original research themselves, believed what the media said about this “alleged” trafficking.

However, many researchers continued to investigate and expose information related to this, and do so to this day.

There were some other factors that led to this topic being suppressed as well:

• Some of the people who were discussing this situation online, unfortunately fell for an apparent “psychological operation”, involving false information about Trump. Some people still believe that information to this day.

People on the outside of all of this, were convinced that, since some (not all) of the people talking about this scandal, were Trump supporters or believers in false information about him - that the entire situation was unfounded. That is NOT true.

• Some of the people who were talking about this online, may not have had all of the most incriminating pieces of evidence at their disposal to reference. So, when asked for evidence to back up their claims, they just were not able to provide the most important and incriminating evidence that pointed to “alleged” trafficking.

For years, this information remained somewhat in the dark- at least, when it came to being discussed accurately by mainstream media.

Today, it is resurfacing somewhat, in the wake of the release of the Epstein files.

The information from this major, major “alleged” trafficking- will be very key in tying certain important pieces of information together about this entire cabal.

Although I am trying to be careful about what I post here, as this topic is still being extremely suppressed and censored, I thought I would also a few more pieces of information from the Epstein files that are somewhat in reference to this, including an invite to Epstein to a screening featuring Hillary Clinton, as well as this tip about trafficking involving a certain pizza restauranteur and more… (there is more from the Epstein files that references this, by the way, but I am again trying not to get this article censored):

When I had heard about this situation coming to light in 2016, it just so happened that I had already known about some of the trafficking by certain politicians involved in this. I have discussed some of my knowledge and experience with politically-linked trafficking networks in my recent Substack from about 6 days ago.

Anyway, I had investigated this information that came out in 2016, and found a lot of very substantive, and what I found to be, incredibly incriminating evidence.

I have been speaking about this in various places for a while. People were being ignored. We always knew the truth would come out. And it is.

I hate to leave you all without more information than this. Let me know if you have any questions. Check out certain content of mine, that references politicians and was released around the end of the January …. I am hopeful that we will soon be able to discuss this much more openly online, without the massive censorship and strikes on accounts that have been occurring.

I don’t really see anyone else speaking out, in quite this way right now.

I can see that this topic has been very, very much misrepresented to the public. Unsurprisingly. Since entertainers are frequently used to promote various goods and services, and so much more, so their images are everything ..

I do know celebrities, and some very top-level producers and many more, and I have been to a number of Hollywood parties and all kinds of events, where things I did NOT anticipate were happening.

I am thinking of this piece as a Part 1, and may do a further series on this. This is not meant to be exhaustive, but provide information on some different issues that contribute to the overall problem….

I broke this piece down into different components of attributes of the entertainment industry, that can contribute to the major problem of trafficking in the industry, which happens at all levels…

Edit: I realized that I had not fully touched on how … completely depraved and very, very extreme, certain “social events” in Hollywood and intersecting industries, can be. Especially for the “so-called elites”, and the people they have at their events. These events push the limits of what we understand to be the most extreme behavior there is. That is not an understatement.

[Trigger warning for the next paragraph:]

In addition to the “Spirit Cooking” situation I describe further in this piece (a horrifying “ritual” that these people would practice, involving various body fluids and more), there are “alleged” safaris to hunt humans that have taken place throughout the world, in all kinds of circumstances (not just those described in the linked article). This is horrifyingly considered a “form of entertainment”, for some of these people.

There are also very extreme “sex parties” like those described this piece, and it seems to me that many of those events may have involved trafficking based on the circumstances, as I explain in the linked video… There is much more to talk about here, but I thought I would at least provide this information for now. The recently-released Epstein files are very revelatory as far as some of this behavior goes…

I decided I would include this warning on my post. If you have not read any of the very disturbing Epstein files, and/or were not aware of how terrible some trafficking networks can be - parts of this article might be quite a shock to you.

I write these pieces to be honest. Hollywood can be a very, very different place than people might imagine. An entire world of difference. This piece is not graphic, but please respect the fact that the reality of the entertainment industry and Hollywood, is so different from what some might imagine. I have no words for it. I am saying this as someone who came to Hollywood as an outsider…

Sex Trafficking Can Occur In Unexpected Ways…

Anti-trafficking organizations such as Polaris and the International Labour Organization, have documented how informal hiring structures, economic instability, and gatekeeping power dynamics create much larger risk environments. The entertainment industry contains many structural risks around this, among other things.

Under U.S. federal law (22 U.S.C. § 7102):
Sex trafficking involves the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person for commercial sex through force, fraud, or coercion, or where the person is under 18.

Sex trafficking in Hollywood, is not necessarily happening through some highly-sophisticated, international ring.

It can look like:

• Naked people dancing or stripping at an event

• People lining up in lingerie, parading around an event, and apparently being “bid on” (I was at an event where this took place… and yes, I had no idea this would be happening. I was not one of the people being “bid on”. No words.)

• People performing sex acts in front of guests at a party, or with them

• Entertainers being forced or coerced to perform sex acts at a photo shoot or production

• People being set up with “sugar daddies” through a third-party, and then the third-party secretly receives payment for that, all in the name of “helping” the people financially

Unfortunately, it is all too easy for vulnerable people to be trafficked in entertainment, an industry that is again very gate-kept, and where many people may work all their lives to get certain opportunities.

Here are some other ways that people may be trafficked in the entertainment industry, some of which I will talk about in more detail in my piece:

• Fake casting calls

• “Modeling scout” scams

• Manager/agent exploitation

• Sugar dating pipelines

• Housing-for-career arrangements

• Substance dependency cultivation

• Social isolation in new cities

• Immigrant visa vulnerability

• Minor performers without guardian oversight

Common mechanisms of trafficking in the industry, also documented by Polaris and DOJ… I will discuss some of these in more detail here:

• Fraudulent career promises

• Isolation from support systems

• Housing dependency

• Debt coercion

• Reputational blackmail

• NDA abuse (Weinstein is one of many noteworthy examples)

• Threat of blacklisting

• Third-party “managers” taking cuts

Here are some other environments within the entertainment world, where performers may be vulnerable:

• Informal casting environments

• Productions where entertainers lack proper safety mechanisms and protections

• Off-site “auditions”

• Private mentorship arrangements

Coercive Control Over Others Is Paramount…

So, the truth is that sex trafficking and exploitation are extremely embedded in Hollywood.

And there are many reasons for that.

I want to first emphasize that the people who are at the “top” of the industry, are extremely mindful of controlling some of what goes on, and being in control of anyone who could be coming for their place, potentially. They do not want any kind of threat.

That is part of the reason that these powerful people- power brokers, decision-makers, gatekeepers, and so forth- monitor those who are on the “up and up”, and may invite them into certain environments, or for certain opportunities..

Hollywood and the entertainment industry are not worlds where people rise up through hard work, talent, and maybe connections and so forth- without also being tested in enormous ways, and sometimes constantly. People at all levels of the entertainment industry, may be tested, constantly and in major ways. They may see all kinds of terrible things, and are expected to continue on.

An entertainer who gains traction, and is not compromised or easily-controlled in some way, can really frighten the gatekeepers at the top. Those people want others around who will fall in line. They do NOT want people bucking or changing the system.

This is probably the most important thing to understand, out of this entire situation (in my opinion).

This is why some may orchestrate attempts to set up others in entertainment, to fall for temptations that could lead to them committing even major crimes, and/or engaging in horrific “humiliation rituals” that are taped, and much more.. Essentially, the “people at the top” (or just the competition in general) will try all kinds of things, to get people to become compromised, and easily controlled.

The videos I will show in my piece, which were created by comedian Trevor Moore, are NOT an exaggeration. At all. They are much too crass in my opinion. But he was very, very brave, to expose these things. These might scare you a lot. I am sorry.

I am including a link to another Trevor Moore video, at the end of this post. Because it will perhaps be very shocking to some people. Perhaps you have also seen Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut, and the strange events put on by the “so-called elites” in it…

To continue, it’s not necessarily easy to “climb the ladder”, and many of these people “at the top”, did not necessarily get their success through great talent or similar. So they may feel even more vulnerable to competition, and sensitive to those who could take their place. This is frankly part of the reason that these people in power positions, and sometimes the competition in general, can be so brutal to others. But it is not the only reason.

In any case, a lot of opportunities and spaces in the entertainment industry may be gate-kept, to be open to people who can specifically be controlled, and / or are compromised.

The Industry Can Select for Predators…

There are other dynamics that can lead to the same outcome, described in the section above.

People that are willing to look the other way towards, or participate in, the terrible behavior of predatory producers and others (including trafficking, potentially), may end up being offered some of the best roles and opportunities.

So, in that way, the entertainment industry can essentially self-select for people that are willing to do terrible things.

(This is somewhat of a side note- I will also be honest, I do not think the “casting couch”, and trading sexual favors, matters nearly as much as people might think for getting opportunities. I personally have never done the “casting couch”, but I know many who have- with varying degrees of success. I do not judge anyone for making the decision to do this themselves, but it can be a slippery slope to trafficking as well.)

I also want to emphasize that, because so many people are willing to do the “casting couch”, it does not really set someone apart, in the way one might think. I have heard that some performers will “throw themselves” at decision-makers for opportunities- without those decision-makers even wanting that.

In my opinion, people will not get opportunities, for the most part, solely on the basis of doing a “casting couch” type of thing.

In my experience, people who pursue the “casting couch” and get an opportunity through that, were already being seriously considered for the opportunity.

That leads to the next point. Many of the people who come up in the entertainment industry, were willing to do things as extreme, as being full-out groomers and recruiters for others in the industry, and potentially participate in abuse themselves.

And yes, some of these abusers or groomers, may have been trafficked and harmed as well. It can be a very complicated dynamic. This is often intentional, by those in power.

Remember, there may be close to countless people with talent. There may be close to countless people who are willing to do at the “casting couch”, or go to far lengths for an opportunity.

It is harder to find people who will go to the extreme lengths of trafficking and things for opportunities. But unfortunately, there are those that will. I know that may be horrifying to say. But it’s true.

They may be willing to recruit, groom, and transport victims, and generally do all kinds of things in these situations.

Various happy and glowing people that you might see on the red carpet, have participated deeply in trafficking operations.

This is why this industry can be an incredibly sick, dark, and toxic place.

I am not saying that everything about the entertainment industry is bad. I love art. But these are some of the major, major problems.

There is, of course, the problem of power corrupting people, and money corrupting people as well.

Interlude

I am going to say something else, and this is going to upset people. A lot of people do not want to believe in “conspiracies”. A lot of people do not want to believe in how bad things are. Well, that doesn’t help victims. We need to be realistic. My work is about helping people, and speaking the truth. Not just what others might want to hear.

We need to realize, that so many industries depend on entertainers to promote their products and services. Or to spread certain messaging… even if it’s false. Of course it is going to be important that the public has a favorable view of the industry’s “top” entertainers. And cover up anything that may be going on. Now, some of these people are also very used to being insulated from problems, for example, if they have lots of money, and rabid fanbases who are not able to accept criticism for them, but that is changing….

For a long time, the traditional media had almost total control of the information that got out. That has helped enable so many of the abuses that have occurred, in my opinion. And this has changed with social media and the internet, which dramatically shifted the playing field…

The government also benefits from a rosy perception of entertainers. The CIA has had a deep working relationship with many people in the entertainment industry. Many people have been intelligence assets and much more.

The media has pushed a false narrative, that conspiracies are “very rare”.

Conspiracies are a very, very real thing in Hollywood. Many people who finance or are otherwise involved in Hollywood, are intimately connected with crime networks, as we have seen with the Jeffrey Epstein case. People who are in crime networks, may engage in major fraud and money laundering, act violently upon others - all kinds of things. The mob is not necessarily as far from the surface as you might think.

That does NOT mean you should believe in any baseless conspiracy theory. It means you should remain grounded in what you believe, and rely on evidence, and/or reliable witnesses.

Accusers May Be Threatened With Blacklisting

Many people who experience all kinds of issues, do not speak up, because they do not want to be blacklisted, which is a major issue in the industry. This is especially an issue in an industry where many workers are much less protected independent contractors, rather than employees who would have more protection. (This is something to discuss at a later time. Obtaining better protections for independent contractors in the US is hugely important.)

When it came to Harvey Weinstein’s abuses of power and sex crimes, documented mechanisms revealed during trial included:

• Career retaliation threats

• “Private hotel meetings” framed as auditions

• Gatekeeping power leveraged for coercion

• Paying off accusers

To continue, many people may “put up with” all kinds of abusive treatment, to get or maintain opportunities.

It can go horrifically deep, and many people die way too young, partly because of things like this.

There are various other reasons that people can fall victim to this behavior, and stay in harmful situations.

Information That Victims Lack, Can Be Easily Exploited

I thought I would note that many people coming into the entertainment industry, are not necessarily as informed and empowered about their rights as one would hope. This can also lead victims to becoming exploited.

Many people come in with no formal education (and that is no slight to them, it’s just a fact), and many of the people in the industry, who may have had certain educational or informational opportunities, did not necessarily absorb much from those. They may have had opportunities that were somewhat guaranteed for them after college, and they may not have felt as much incentive to really absorb the information and material they were taught.

(That does not mean that everyone who has somewhat built-in opportunities after college etc, does not work hard and learn a lot! Just some of them, sometimes.)

Predators in the entertainment industry, and they are practically ubiquitous at a certain level, rely on the fact that many people do not have the proper information when they come into the industry. The predators actively rely on and promote false information, to exploit potential victims (I don’t just mean trafficking victims, either, I mean victims of other kinds of abuse as well.)

Also, a number of the people who come from wealthy show-business families, do not necessarily have a grounded view of reality. For example, they may not understand that the average person can’t just call their family and get $10,000, $30,000, for whatever they want. They may think it’s “funny” when something happens like their car getting towed- because someone else always foots the bill for them. (These are all real stories, by the way.) People like this may actively refuse to understand the way that things are for the average person.

(I also have observed that a number of the people who grew up in wealthy show-business families, seem to have been groomed to do predatory behavior themselves. Trafficking can be a family business, especially in show-business. And the cycles continue.)

False Promises May Be Used to Ensnare Victims

Predators may also play all kinds of power games with potential victims, and use false promises to ensnare them into trafficking and more…

I remember when a fairly famous producer, tried to force me to cancel all my plans (I had some pretty important plans to me) on Memorial Day specifically, to come into the studio to work with him. When I first got to Hollywood, I had producers and directors call me at random times of the day, and get mad at me for not picking up and talking to them just whenever they wanted, unscheduled. I also had various people in entertainment, try to get me to come to their home to discuss “business”, or a private “business dinner” late at night…. all kinds of things like that. I declined all of these. These can all be very coercive, and/or risk factors for further coercion. And yes, I did not get those opportunities with those people (however serious they may have been, or not), and I would not have wanted to work with predators anyway! I have said no to opportunities with predators.

They try to dangle opportunities in front of people, to get them to comply with anything. Even if someone in a power position like this, heavily implies that there will be an opportunity at the end of the road- that is often NOT the case. Do NOT fall for this. Do not do things you are fundamentally uncomfortable with. Stick to your own boundaries, and that should work out best for you, in my opinion.

(There are a lot of ways to protect against this predatory behavior, by the way. That’s a very long and very important conversation. This took a lot of my energy, and for now, I will try to focus on outlining the core issues in this post.)

Also, I want to again emphasize that you won’t necessarily “get ahead” in the business by participating in sexual behavior, or potentially criminal behavior and so forth.

Doing any of those things, is NOT a guarantee of anything in the entertainment industry. People in powerful positions in the entertainment industry (or positions where they can fake being in power….) will liberally entice others with opportunities, to get those people to go along with certain things.

These people in positions of power, often have no intent of delivering on any of that. I have seen many people like this (for example) walk around events, approach beautiful women about the same movie part, and telling them that they think that that specific woman would be perfect for the role (and heavily imply they want to give it to them), ask the women for their numbers, and then suggest private dinners and so forth.

No matter how amazing and talented someone may be, an implied opportunity or role, in exchange for a sexual favor or something else, is not a guarantee. I would not take it seriously.

Now, there are some cases where there may be more of an explicit contract on the table. Which is much less commonly the case.

For example, there are situations where people may be explicitly offered money or something else, to do a sexual act or something perhaps along those lines. People have been offered millions for some of these things. It is very important to note that the people who go along with those contracts, may unfortunately get a lot more than they bargained for, and it may work out very, very poorly.

A Very Different, and Expensive Lifestyle in Entertainment Centers…

I also think it is really important to emphasize, the fact that some of the people who want success in Hollywood in certain industries…

Are often willing to pursue it no matter what.

If they are not able to make it happen in conventional ways, they may pursue it in other ways.

Again, trafficking unfortunately can be a lucrative and easy way to make money.

Additionally, living in places like LA, or New York City, or Miami, etc, can be very expensive. Especially in keeping up with lifestyles there. These are places where people may be very wealthy, and it may take a lot to maintain a certain lifestyle and “keep up with the Joneses” (not that some “should” be competitive in that way, but anyway).

Again, I’m not justifying any of this, I’m just trying to explain the context of some of this.

I will also say that, as someone from Colorado/somewhat the Midwest, it can be quite jarring to get to Hollywood, and to be around people who may be very flashy, and throwing money around in ways that I did not see so much when I was in Colorado. It can be a very different experience to be around people who are quite famous, and have all kinds of opportunities and things offered to them, all the time…

There is a whole lifestyle in Hollywood that is fast-paced, and can offer almost anything with it. It can really suck people in. This is why I try to be extremely mindful about what I expose myself to in places like LA, and the environments I choose to be in (there and elsewhere). (Obviously, many entertainment capitals are HUGE cities with a huge range of activities to do. You can easily avoid all of that, if you like.)

The truth is, though, that if you spend time in certain environments, and around certain people, it is much easier to get “sucked in” to a certain lifestyle, than some might think.

I know that many people might think that there is no way they could ever participate in something like trafficking or something similar. And for a smaller number of people, that is true.

When people get exposed to certain bad environments, and potentially mixed in with the “wrong crowd”… things can change.

Having power can also change people, as I previously mentioned. Power can corrupt people in a major way. Money can corrupt people.

If someone is not able to be extremely mindful in the entertainment space, and the places and people they spend time in or with, as well as take care of their mental health, ground themselves with support and more… the wrong things can happen. That does not necessarily mean getting involved in trafficking, but it can mean major detrimental changes along other lines.

It is also important to emphasize, that working in a creative career, let alone raising money for major projects, can be very, very expensive and financially unstable.

Many people work as freelancers, or on temporary projects within the entertainment industry. It can be much more turbulent than other industries. This creates added financial pressure for people to potentially do bad things. I am not justifying any of this, just explaining that the pressures of being in the entertainment industry are very different than people might realize at first.

There is also the fact, that some people get very limited opportunities to make something happen in the entertainment industry, this very gate-kept industry, where attention spans of the average viewer or listener are also very short. There may be a lot of pressure to make a project a success..

Risk Factors Overlapping With Other Businesses

I want to emphasize that trafficking is not just a major problem in Hollywood.

It may be one of the most visible industries for it, and one of the most easily exploited.

But the many issues that contribute to the problem of trafficking, are very much present in virtually every industry.

If a competitor is able to get ahead with criminal behavior, that could also potentially motivate another business to try to compete with them in the same way.

It’s unbelievably awful, and I’m not justifying any of it. But I do think it helps to understand how some of this happens, especially when people are maybe already somewhat “corrupted” potentially by power and money that they may have.

(If you watched this second video, I don’t necessarily want to talk about that kind of ritual and ceremony madness right now, but… these things are real. I know that brings a whole other dimension into this, and it may be a lot to process. I don’t want to get into this too much now. And I do not know everything.

Some of those practices are passed down from ancient traditions that the “so-called elites” thought were helping them get ahead. Remember, these things might seem completely out of this world to those watching, but the people who have had certain successes in entertainment, can become very superstitious, and very obsessed with maintaining or gaining power at any cost. It can lead people to do very, very strange and harmful things….

Marina Abramovic’s “Spirit Cooking” and some of her related performances, would seem to echo some of this.

Top politicians and their staff would also discuss rituals like this over email. For those who know. Happy to expand on this. This is not exclusive to the entertainment industry.)
