I had my very first out-of-body experience.

I have been trying to do this for six years. Six. And when it finally happened, it did not happen the way I practiced. It happened sideways — through a dream so absurd, so completely unhinged, that it shocked me into realizing I was dreaming.

So, of course, I have to tell you everything: the techniques, the people I was listening to, the ideas that changed the way I thought about it, and the exact thing I did differently the night it finally worked.

Because I don’t believe this is some special ability handed down to a select few. I think everyone is supposed to be able to do this. I think we’re all supposed to be doing it.

First — Hi. And Who the Hell Am I?

I have a ton of new followers here, so before I tell you about my innermost subconscious travels — which feels very intimate, thank you very much — I wanted to at least introduce myself properly.

My name is CanDace. I do a lot of things, and most of them keep circling around the same one: writing, studying, and practicing a spiritual life.

The premise underneath all of it is that many of us are lightworkers: individuals who feel like they have been called here to do more, including bring heaven to earth through creation, experience, and taking ownership of our domain — which is, essentially, our reality. This isn’t something only shamans or energy healers, a lightworker is ANYONE who wants to help change the world for the better with authenticity and love.

Zip Code

Here’s the part people don’t expect. What I’m really doing every month when I build Zip Code is reading a pattern — watching how the energy is moving and translating that shape into something you can hold in your hands.

I love patterns so much that I’m also launching a surface pattern design company, which I will also cover another time.

The irony is not lost on me.

Okay. Now let me tell you what happened.

It All Started with Dr. Robert Monroe

All of this started when I read the CIA documents — the declassified Robert Monroe material on higher states of consciousness, where the out-of-body experience is described in the flattest, most bureaucratic language imaginable.

I was curious about what it was, so I downloaded all of the Gateway Tapes and read his books, from Far Journeys to Ultimate Journey. Every night, I listened to binaural beats, waiting to float away to… somewhere.

Nothing really happened.

But I gained some insight, and that kept me motivated to keep trying. The problem was that I found it difficult to practice every night. Discipline and, frankly, a lack of technique kept getting in the way.

So I dropped it for a while.

Then came Darius J. Wright.

A few years ago, he was making waves on YouTube and in spiritual circles, claiming to constantly leave his body. There were many things I picked up from Darius, but three ideas lodged themselves in me permanently.

First: this isn’t special. Everyone is supposed to be able to do this. It’s an ability we forgot.

Second: you have power on the other side. Fear is like a magnet. Hold no fear and nothing will disturb you. You are invincible. You are not there to be afraid; you are there with the ultimate authority of the one who created you.

Third: there is a whole other realm of things you can witness, traverse, and experience.

That second idea mattered more than I realized.

During that stretch, I kept getting jump scared in dreams. Beings would appear out of nowhere, scary-looking, trying to frighten me. It started to feel like a curriculum — like I was being walked through my own fear until I stopped flinching.

And eventually, I did.

I became more curious and less terrified.

But I still couldn’t get out.

Not to my knowledge, anyway.

My dreams went wild during this time. I talk about many of them in the YouTube video I made for this post, and you can get more detail on some of the other experiences here:

Then I found a YouTube channel called Out of Body Stories, which interviews people who do this routinely.

Then Cave of Mystery, Nelson’s channel, where I really began refining and honing my actual spiritual practice — not just my technique. Shout out to him, sincerely.

And then GenieDot followed by the Alchemist369, they both leave their body constantly, and they ALL say pretty much the same thing.

Here’s what all of them had in common that Monroe’s more rigid methods didn’t:

They weren’t straining. They talked about it the way you’d talk about driving to the store. And I realized my problem wasn’t belief. or practice, it was a lot to do with trying too damn hard.

I was pushing. I was attempting to extract myself from my own body by force. Every night I would tense up trying to reach sleep paralysis, which is roughly like trying to fall asleep by clenching your jaw.

The One Sentence That Changed Everything

I was half-watching a GenieDot video one night, dozing, not really paying attention.

And he said something about how we spend all day consolidating our matter — holding ourselves in a fixed position, gripping ourselves into form. And that we have a very hard time reversing that.

A hard time going back to wave form.

I sat up.

Because I know that feeling.

You know that feeling.

It’s when you wake up from a nap in the middle of the afternoon and the whole room is wavy, and you genuinely don’t know where you’ve been.

It’s the bottom of a deep meditation, where the goal was never concentration. The goal was surrender. That was the night it happened.

I should probably also mention that earlier that day, I had spiritually cleansed my house — which becomes funny in retrospect because of what happened next. While I was spiritually cleaning, I activated Out-of-Body Travel by chance.

And then I went to sleep.

The Dream That Led to the Nightmare That Led to the Out-of-Body Experience

I want to tell you the dream properly, because I think the dream was the mechanism.

It starts at Whole Foods. I’m buying scallops and salmon because my husband isn’t home, and my daughter and I are going to have a whole dining night with things he doesn’t eat. I pick up a fancy bottle of champagne. Expensive. I keep noting in the dream how expensive it is.

We get home. I’m cooking. I open the champagne — and it barely bubbles.

I offer my daughter the smallest sip in a cup, and she says, No, thank you.

She’s eleven. She would have absolutely tried it. That should have been my first clue. Then I look down and the bottle is nearly empty. I don’t know where it went. Some of it is spilled on the counter. I follow it to the floor, and there are two rivers of champagne running out of the kitchen and into the middle room of my house.

And they run straight into the largest, most foul pile of shit I have ever seen in my life. I’m standing there thinking: If my dog did this, my dog would be dead. What is this? How do I even begin? And before I can form a plan, someone tells me there’s a homeless person living on my front porch.

I go to the front door fully loaded, ready to go off. I swing it open, I open my mouth — and no words come out. Not one. I see a man on my porch with a grocery cart and sleeping bag. The person doesn’t even turn around. That’s how little impact I have.

I slam the door but the damn door won’t stay shut. It’s broken. So now I have a stranger on my porch, an impossible amount of shit in my living room, and a door that will not close. And then I look up and there’s more. Under the dining table. Two more piles. Different shapes. Different forms. I am about to have a full meltdown. This is the kind of dream you wake up from gasping.

Then I turn around and my husband is standing there in rubber gloves.I turn back —

it’s all gone. He Completely cleaned it all up in like 30 seconds. He picks up the bag, walks out the back door, and walks back in.

And the door has moved.

“Oh My God, I’m Dreaming”

That was it. That was the crack.

Oh my God, I’m dreaming.

I’m dreaming.

I’m dreaming.

I said it over and over. All of me arrived at once and said: Girl, this is not real. And I was so happy. Thrilled!

The room started reorganizing itself around me. And then the real thought landed:

I’m dreaming. I can have an out-of-body experience. I can leave this dream. Portals are doors. That was the next sentence in my head. I never expected this to actually happen, so I hadn’t prepared a destination. I forgot to mention this part in my video, but as I walking toward the back door I saw MYSELF in my pantry, we locked eyes… SUPER Weird. I went to the back door, opened it, stepped outside —and there was nothing.

Black. An abyss. My eyes were closed, which, of course, they were. I was asleep. But you know what I mean. There was nowhere to go through that door.

This is exactly why I now believe a dream is a construct — a temporary reality built for you to have one specific experience inside. I tried to walk out of the box and there was no outside. I tried other things. I called for my dad, who has passed. I saw a crackle of energy —and nothing.

I called for my grandfather. Same crackle. No grandpa. So I’m standing in my dream kitchen thinking: Well, shit. Now what? And then I kicked my foot in some weird way and I started levitating.

Green Diamonds and Not Quite Ancient Egypt

I want you to understand: I could feel the buoyancy and the pressure underneath me. My legs folded behind me, knees down, torso upright, just bobbing in the air like a cork.

And I thought: Okay. Where am I going? Take me to ancient Egypt. I don’t know why I said it. I started holding Egyptian symbols in my mind, trying to give the thought somewhere to land. I began to spin. Slowly, then faster.

The entire room went black and green diamond shapes appeared all around me — a full 360 degrees of them, floating, completely still while I turned.

They weren’t spinning with me. They were just there. And they were perfectly clear.

Then a cheap, almost cartoonish image of pyramids flickered past. I still don’t fully know what that means. And then I landed. I was back in my house, but in ancient times. Same shape. Different era.

There was a butcher block. And my mother was standing at the counter. This is where I have to tell you something. My mother and I have had a contentious relationship for most of my life, and we had a real conversation about a week and a half before this happened. We are only just now coming back to each other.

So I did not get ancient Egypt. I got her. And I understood immediately that this was not a mistake. The first thing I noticed was the way she looked at me — that look I’ve resented since I was a kid, the one that says, Why are you mad at me? And standing there, fully conscious, I saw it cleanly for the first time:

This isn’t about me. This is just her state of being. That is probably the entire reason I was sent there. She said, You ready to go get the stuff? I said yes, having absolutely no idea what the stuff was.

We walked out the back door. And this time there was a whole world behind it. My backyard in real life, transformed, with 6 feet tall flowers that were shaped like tulips but built like architecture, with intricate edges on the petals, opened enough that you could see all the way down to the pollen. The most impossible yellow.

Above them was a sky of pink and blue and purple, everything lit from inside. There were pyramids or mountains somewhere in the distance, but I could not stop looking at the flowers. I turned and there was a second variety — white, lace-fine, tiny petals gathered into a heavy, bold head.

And there were species names written beside each flower. And I understood: This is her work. She grew these. We were going to harvest them and deliver them somewhere — a temple, a market, I don’t know.

I stood in her garden celebrating her harvest. And I hugged her. It was an awkward hug. It was still a hug. Then I opened my eyes. Not woke up. Opened my eyes.And I was in my bed. Immediately I shook my husband awake. Oh my God. It happened. It actually happened. I came downstairs, drank an absurd amount of water, and could not get back to sleep. I just replayed it. Over and over and over.

So What Was It?

This is the question I get most, and having now experienced what I would describe as dreams, remote viewing, astral experiences, and an out-of-body experience, here’s how I map the difference.

Dreams

A dream is your subconscious communicating something it can’t process in real time. Maybe you’ve been moving too fast, maybe something is too painful to look at directly, or maybe you’re not even aware it’s running underneath your life. The tell, for me, is your role. In a dream, you are either an observer or a character, but either way, you’re reacting. Whatever happens, happens to you. I think that’s diagnostic. If you’re constantly reacting in your dreams, look at where you’re reacting instead of choosing in your waking life. As you become more conscious here, I think it begins to bleed through to there.

Remote Viewing

Remote viewing is fully awake and fully here. Your consciousness never leaves Earth. Your eyes are closed, and your third eye works like a screen — images, symbols, sometimes still pictures, sometimes full moving footage. I do this spontaneously. I’ll be lying in bed at night and my den will simply appear in my view, in daylight. I don’t always know why I’m being shown it. I just see it. If your brain were Google, remote viewing is you using the software.

And I think these are stages, not completely separate categories. I’ve had a remote view come closer and closer until I could have stepped into it — which is how a lucid dream begins.

Astral Projection

Astral projection is being somewhere real that isn’t this reality. It’s a place. You can traverse it, map it, and other people can follow your map to the same experience. The tell for me is how much like myself I feel. When I was practicing for this, my dreams became hyper-detailed. I could taste food. I was using a cell phone, which never happens in my dreams. I was in my actual house. I was recognizably me rather than playing a character.

I’ve had walk-ins — waking up in a bedroom that’s a merge of my old apartment and my new house, going downstairs to tell my husband about a wild dream, and it isn’t my husband and it isn’t my house. And I know it. I’m standing there as a stranger, trying to work out what I was dropped into that life to learn.

I’ve been to worlds where the clouds were 360 degrees around me and I was inside a cave in a mountainside, like a stadium looking out. I’ve been on missions. I once watched an entire feature-length film in a dream — a real film, with a real thesis, about mindset and what you do with what you actually have. Its lesson was that in the astral, thought creates form instantly, and form changes the instant your perception does. Perception is reality, demonstrated. I remembered the entire movie. That’s how I knew it wasn’t an ordinary dream.

The Out-of-Body Experience

An OBE is when you are fully conscious, fully aware, and able to move, direct, and choose. Things can still happen to you, but you have capacity. You have agency. Exactly like life.

Some people leave straight from the bed. They’re taught to look at their body and the room before they go. I got there through a lucid dream, and I now believe that dream was made that extreme on purpose. Everything in it was designed to freak me out badly enough to snap me into consciousness.

Which makes me think something else, too. A lot of what’s happening in this world right now is so shocking, so absurd, so far past what should be possible — and I think that’s the point. The shock is the wake-up mechanism. Same principle. Bigger construct.

How to Have an Out-of-Body Experience: What I Actually Did

Here is the practice. It is much less dramatic than you want it to be.

1. Get Your Nervous System to Zero

I cannot do this if I’ve been drinking. I cannot do this if I’ve eaten a lot of sugar. Not because those things are sinful, but because of the nervous system. If your tension is at ten, you need to get as close to zero as you can. That’s the whole requirement.

2. Run Your Chakras from the Top Down

This is new for me, and it’s a big part of what changed. I start at the crown and move down to the soles of my feet, moving golden light through each center in turn. I’m going to do a full video on this, so subscribe if you want that.

3. At Every Stop, Surrender the Tension There

This is the actual technique. Everything else is scaffolding. At each chakra, my only goal is to release any holding in that area — eyebrows, throat, heart, stomach. And you will find it. I can feel exactly where I’ve been gripping all day. There’s a place in my stomach where I am always holding something, and when I get conscious of it and let it go, the whole area opens.

If it tightens back up, I do it again. And again. It’s like realizing you’ve been clenching something in your fist for sixteen hours. When you finally open your hand, there’s a sinking feeling. That sinking is the thing you’re looking for.

4. Let Solid Become Wave

Then the funny sensations start, and this is where most people flinch and lose it. Parts of you go numb. You are putting your body to sleep. The solid is becoming wave form. Your only job is to remember that this is correct and let it keep unfolding. I could feel a flood of energy moving through me, a whole exchange happening.

5. Then Stop Trying

This is the part that makes me laugh. I practiced for about an hour, decided it wasn’t happening, got bored, and went to sleep. And then it happened anyway.

That’s not a footnote. That’s the lesson. The hour of surrender did the work; letting go of the outcome did the rest.

Years ago — and I never really counted this until now — I did the same surrender by accident and fell straight through my body and through the earth. I landed on the desk of a giant. I was mouse-sized in a windowless cave. He was at a drafting table with enormous golden protractors and rulers hanging on the wall. He was old, long-bearded, thin — and he was as shocked to see me as I was to see him. I woke up almost instantly.

Same sensation.

Complete surrender.

Why I Think This Is the Next Level of Ascension

If you watched my video on the dimensions, you know where I’m going with this. Fourth dimension, to me, is being able to reach that other reality in some form — intuition, channeling, psychic ability, lucid dreaming. Making that world aware of you and becoming aware of it.

Fifth dimension is traveling there and being fully in that awareness — conscious there while conscious here, simultaneously. And when you’re awake in both, they begin to bleed together.

This is what people mean when they say time is speeding up. Life stops being long stretches of lull and becomes experience after experience after experience — the way a dream does. You’re never just sitting by a fireplace reading a book in a dream. You’re moving through the high points.

I think a lot of that lull time is loops. Storylines with no ending because nothing ever came along to finish them. As we wake up, we move through storylines faster.

And here’s the part I actually care about: what do you do once you’re conscious over there?

You go to the Akashic Records. You visit your Soul Blueprint and find out what you came here to do. You go to other dimensions and you take notes. And then you bring it back.

I think that is how we bring heaven to earth. I think we are meant to travel to gather information and plant it back into this world — and the only way to carry it back intact is consciousness. If you’re fully conscious there, you don’t forget it on the way home.

Because when I went looking for what’s actually underneath all of it — when I asked if not that, then who — I found something in these same buried texts that stopped me cold.

It is the most beautiful description of the divine I have ever read.

The One

This is from The Secret Book of John, which we met last week.

Before the realms, before the rulers, before the garden, before any of it — the text describes the source.

And it’s careful, almost desperate, about not letting you shrink it:

“The One is a sovereign that has nothing over it. It is God and Parent, Father of the All, the invisible one that is over the All, that is incorruptible, that is pure light at which no eye can gaze.

The One is an invisible Spirit. We should not think of it as a god, or like a god — for it is greater than a god, because it has nothing over it and no lord above it.

It established itself. It is eternal, since it does not need anything, for it is absolutely complete. It has never lacked anything in order to be completed. Rather, it is always absolutely complete in light.

The One is illimitable, since there is nothing before it to limit it. Unfathomable, since there is nothing before it to fathom it. Immeasurable, since there was nothing before it to measure it. Invisible, since nothing has seen it. Eternal, since it exists eternally. Ineffable, since nothing could comprehend it to speak of it. Unnameable, since there is nothing before it to give it a name.”

I want you to sit with one line in particular.

“We should not think of it as a god, or like a god — for it is greater than a god.”

That single sentence rearranged how I hold all of this.

Because everything we’ve been arguing about for five articles — Yahweh, El, Baal, the council, the rulers, the whole crowded pantheon — all of that is happening at the level of gods.

And this text is saying: the source is not on that shelf.

Not the strongest god. Not the winning god. Not the god who out-competed the others for the territory.

Categorically not a god at all.

You can’t be jealous of anything if nothing exists beside you. You can’t demand worship if you lack nothing. You can’t need obedience if you are already absolutely complete.

Go back to Part Two and look at the list of what love is not.

This is the being that fits it.

And Then It Keeps Going

The passage goes on for a while, but here’s my favorite part, and it reads like a hymn:

The One is a realm that gives a realm. Life that gives life. A blessed one that gives blessing. Knowledge that gives knowledge. A good one that gives goodness. Mercy that gives mercy and redemption. Grace that gives grace.

It is the head of all realms, and it is the one who sustains them through its goodness.

Read that list again and notice what every single line has in common.

It gives what it is.

Not demands. Not withholds. Not tests you first. Not requires a blood offering, a middleman, or a subscription.

Knowledge that gives knowledge.

Sit with that one for a second, after everything we just read about the garden.

The source of knowledge gives knowledge away. That’s its nature. That’s what it is.

So anything that punishes you for reaching for it is, by definition, not the source.

And One More Line

The text ends this section with something I think about constantly:

We would not know, we would not understand what is immeasurable, were it not for the one who came from the Father — Yeshua. That is the one who told these things to us.

Whatever else you believe about him: in this text, Yeshua’s entire job description is telling you what’s actually up there.

Not brokering access. Not standing between you and it.

Telling you.

A Note on Scale

One thing I want to flag, because it reframes the whole conversation.

In this cosmology there are multiple realms. And each realm, as I’ve come to understand it, contains a number of universes too large to say out loud.

We are one universe, in one realm.

That’s it. That’s our address.

Which means the being who declared himself the only god, who demanded exclusive worship, who threatened everyone who looked elsewhere — was making that claim from inside a very small room.

Not the landlord.

A tenant, with an inflated sense of the lease.

Now Let Me Tell You Where I’m Coming From

I should tell you who’s been talking this whole time.

I was raised in the church. I went to a religious school. I’ve studied the Bible.

And I’ll never forget the day I learned there were more books that weren’t in the Bible.

There was more information.

And nobody had updated me.

That was the day I became an explorer.

I left Christianity 22 years ago. Not because of church hurt — because I kept running into things I found downright hypocritical, and the answer was always the same: God is mysterious.

I couldn’t understand why God showed up constantly in the Old Testament, but nobody I knew had ever seen Him.

My church was conservative. There was never a Holy Ghost experience.

Jesus healed the sick and said we could do the same — and nobody ever tried.

Funerals were unbearably sad, almost as though the person who died was definitely going to hell.

And hell raised the biggest question of my life:

If my father loved me, why would he have me suffer for eternity?

It didn’t work for me.

But I never left my relationship with God. I drew closer. I looked everywhere.

And I believe I found the source.

I have meetings with God, with Yeshua — whom I consider my brother — and with Holy Spirit. I treat it like a royal family, with siblings like wisdom, knowledge, forethought, honor… kingdom shit… how to govern oneself, how to lead ones family… this is my belief, it doesn’t belong to anyone else, I don’t have to sway another on my side, I get this beautiful space to cherish, exist in and get nourishment from. It has changed my entire life and it is the reason I can write any of this with a steady hand.

Because here’s what I can tell you from the other side of that connection:

The love there is so vast, so complete, and so utterly without condition that the moment you sense a whisper of it, the contradictions in the old story stop being an intellectual problem and become obvious. The SHIT IS LOUD, when you know the essence of God, which you have the power to exist in, you can’t unsee what is NOT of God.

You don’t have to argue yourself out of Model A.

You just know.

That is not my God.

My God would never tell a father to bind his son to an altar.

The one could not wipe out a population, could not need my fear, and has never once needed me small.

So — Is There a God?

Yes.

But maybe not the one you were handed.

And here’s the thing I want to leave you with, after six articles of tearing down and digging up.

The very fact that something went to this much trouble to impersonate God is the strongest evidence I know that there is a real one.

You don’t counterfeit what doesn’t exist. Nobody forges a currency that isn’t worth anything.

The elaborateness of the imitation is a measure of the value of the original.

So go find it.

Not through me. Not through a pastor, a priest, a broker, or a book somebody edited.

Become your own priest. Have your own personal relationship with your creator.

Ask for it directly, in your own words, in your own house, and be willing to sit there in the quiet until something answers. And use discernment, a gift from God to ask and determine if this energy, you called in, is of the light and the darkness, you were given intelligence to use them in these moments, not to run like a fool from a “demon” who has less of an inheritance over you…

Because if the source is a good one that gives goodness, and knowledge that gives knowledge, and grace that gives grace —

then it was never hiding from you.

It’s been waiting to be asked.

And the story isn’t over.

Garden. Two trees. A command. A serpent. A woman who listens to it. A man who listens to her. And a fall that every single one of us has been paying off ever since. Every Since we have been forced to toil, feel pain in childbirth and die.

Disobedience. Shame. Exile. The end.

Now let me tell you the version where the exact same events happen — and every one of them means the opposite.

First: Where This Comes From

In 1945, near Nag Hammadi in Upper Egypt, a farmer digging for fertilizer found a sealed jar.

Inside were thirteen leather-bound codices. Fifty-two texts, in Coptic. Gospels, revelations, creation accounts, prayers — writings that circulated among early Christians and then vanished from history.

They’d been in the ground since roughly the fourth century.

Remember Part Three? 367 CE — Athanasius writes the festal letter that gives us the first list matching the New Testament you own, and instructs the faithful to reject everything outside it as heretical.

There was a monastery a few miles from where that jar was buried.

I’m not going to tell you those two facts are definitely connected. Scholars debate it. But somebody, somewhere around that time, decided these books were worth hiding rather than burning — and packed them into a jar in the desert where they sat for sixteen hundred years.

Someone wanted them to survive.

I’m not going to quote you the entire thing. I want to walk you through the shape of it.

The Setup: Light and Its Shadow

Start above.

There is the All — the source. Infinite, complete, needing nothing. We’ll come back to this next week, because it deserves its own article.

Below that, realms. Layers of heaven. Angels, powers, divine beings — an enormous and ordered structure of light.

Now: light casts a shadow.

Beneath everything is chaos — not evil exactly, just darkness. The absence where the light doesn’t reach. Matter without spirit. Existence without breath.

Hold on to that image. A vast ball of light, and underneath it, its own shadow.

Then Something Goes Wrong Upstairs

Sophia — Wisdom — is one of the divine beings.

And Sophia decides to create by herself.

Without her partner. Without permission from the Spirit. She wants to bring forth something in her own likeness, on her own authority.

Call it the first sin, if you want. It isn’t murder or lust. It’s creation without partnership.

And what comes out is malformed.

She sees it and she’s horrified. She casts it away from the realms of light, down into the shadow, and hides it in a cloud so the others won’t see what she’s done.

That thing has a name: Yaldabaoth.

The texts also call him Saklas — the fool. And Samael — the blind god.

He Doesn’t Know There’s Anyone Above Him

This is the part that reorganizes everything.

Yaldabaoth was cast out before he was told anything.

Nobody explained the structure to him. Nobody introduced him to the All. He opens his eyes in the dark and sees nothing above him, no one beside him, and no evidence that anything else exists.

So he draws the obvious conclusion.

He thinks he’s God.

And he’s not entirely powerless, because he came from Sophia and she came from light. He has her memory in him. He has real creative force.

He just has no idea what he’s copying.

So he builds. Heavens, angels, powers, authorities, rulers — an entire counterfeit cosmos, assembled blind, from half-remembered impressions of a home he was never shown.

And out of him and his sons come the things that have no origin above: envy, wrath, jealousy, grief — forged in the waters of chaos and planted here, in matter.

He becomes the ruler of this world.

And Then He Says the Quiet Part

Here’s the line. If you take nothing else from this article, take this.

Yaldabaoth announces to his angels:

“I am God, and there is no other God beside me.”

Now go open Isaiah.

“I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me.” — Isaiah 45:5

“I am God, and there is none else.” — Isaiah 46:9

The text is not being subtle. It is putting a famous line from your scripture in the mouth of the blind god who doesn’t know what’s above him.

And then the Secret Book of John does something I find almost unbearably sharp. It stops and comments on the logic:

By saying this, he showed his angels that another God does exist. For if there were no other — of whom would he be jealous?

Read that twice.

Jealousy is evidence of a rival. A being who is genuinely alone and genuinely supreme has nobody to be jealous of. The demand itself is the confession.

We spent Part Two on what love is and is not. Love does not demand worship.

Here’s a text from the second century making the same argument, and doing it with the grammar of a single verse.

So Let’s Just Say It. Is Yaldabaoth Yahweh?

I’ve been circling this for five articles. Let’s put it on the table.

Line the two up and look at what matches.

He announces there is nothing above him. Yaldabaoth: “I am God, and there is no other God beside me.” Your Bible: “I am the LORD, and there is none else.” — Isaiah 45:5

He is jealous — and the text notes that jealousy proves a rival. Your Bible: “I the LORD thy God am a jealous God.” — Exodus 20:5 And: “The LORD, whose name is Jealous.” — Exodus 34:14

He forbids the acknowledgment of anything above him. Your Bible: “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” — Exodus 20:3

He is forged in, and rules over, the waters of chaos. Your Bible: “Darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” — Genesis 1:2

Storm, fire, wrath, cloud. Your Bible: the entire storm-god vocabulary Yahweh absorbs from Baal — thunder as voice, fire, cloud, mountain. (See Part Four.)

He builds humanity to work for him. Your Bible: “And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.” — Genesis 2:15

He punishes the reach for knowledge with exile. Your Bible: Genesis 3, in its entirety.

He regrets what he made, and moves to destroy it. Your Bible: “It repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.” — Genesis 6:6

That’s not a loose family resemblance. That’s the same character sheet.

And then there are the names

Here’s the part that took the top of my head off.

Yaldabaoth doesn’t rule alone. He generates seven authorities beneath him, and the texts give them names.

Depending on which manuscript you’re reading, that list includes:

Iao. Sabaoth. Adonaios. Eloaios.

Now say those out loud next to the divine names of the Hebrew Bible.

IAO — the Greek rendering of YHW.

Sabaoth — from Yahweh Sabaoth, the LORD of Hosts.

Adonaios — from Adonai, my Lord, the word observant Jews say aloud in place of the name.

Eloaios — from Elohim.

These texts took the sacred names of God and handed them out as names for the rulers.

Not as an insult thrown in passing. As a structural claim about who those names actually belong to.

So — son, or the same being?

You asked the right question, and the tradition itself can’t fully decide.

Some texts read the chief ruler as the God of Genesis, straight up.

Others split him. In On the Origin of the World, Sabaoth — a son of Yaldabaoth — sees what his father is, repents, condemns him, and is raised up. Sophia herself teaches him. He becomes a genuinely good ruler seated above the chaos.

So in that version, one of the Yahweh-named beings is a son who defected.

Which means the tradition is doing something more careful than “the God of the Old Testament is the Devil.” It’s saying: that name has been worn by more than one being, and they were not all the same.

Suddenly a lot of the whiplash in the Old Testament reads differently. The God who is tender and the God who is genocidal. The one who walks with you and the one who commands the slaughter of every living thing in a city.

Maybe that isn’t one being with a complicated personality.

Maybe you’ve been reading a book with more than one author and more than one subject — and nobody labeled the switches.

One honest thing before we move on

I’m not going to pretend this is neutral evidence, because it isn’t, and you’d catch me.

The people who wrote these texts had read Genesis. They knew exactly what they were doing. This is deliberate counter-reading — polemic, written by people who found the God of Genesis morally intolerable and set out to explain him.

So the parallels aren’t an independent discovery. They’re on purpose.

But notice what that actually tells you.

It tells you these authors looked at the same scriptures you were raised on, understood them perfectly well, and concluded that the being described in them could not be the ultimate God.

Not because they hadn’t read it.

Because they had.

The Countermeasure

But the All had forethought.

None of this was a surprise. The correction was moving before the error finished happening.

A veil gets placed — the firmament — between what’s above and what’s below, so the damage stays contained.

And a plan goes into motion to get light into the dark place, so that what’s trapped down here has a way home.

That’s the shape of the whole story. One side generates the distortion. The other side corrects it. And the correcting side knew it was coming.

Now: Adam

Yaldabaoth sees a reflection on the water.

It’s the image of the divine Human from above — the true form, shining down onto the surface of the deep.

He doesn’t understand what he’s looking at. He only knows it’s beautiful, and he wants one.

So he and his powers build a copy out of matter.

And I want to be precise about why, because this is the hinge of the entire series:

The first man was made as a slave.

Not as a child. Not as an heir. As property, by a being who wanted something beneath him.

But the copy won’t stand up. It lies there, inert. Matter with no breath.

So the higher powers run a con on him. They suggest to Yaldabaoth that he blow the spirit he’s carrying into the thing’s face — the power he stole from his mother without ever realizing what it was.

He does it.

He empties Sophia’s light out of himself and into Adam.

And Adam stands up.

And He’s Better Than His Maker

Adam opens his eyes and he is more luminous, more intelligent, and more beautiful than the beings who made him.

Because he’s carrying something they don’t have and can’t make.

Yaldabaoth realizes what he’s done and he’s terrified. His slave outshines him. His property has the one thing he was never given.

So he does what that kind of ruler always does.

He gets him out of sight, down into the lowest region of matter. And he starts managing the problem.

Eve Was Already There

Here’s the piece the story we inherited completely inverts.

The light in Adam — the Insight, the Epinoia, the spark from above — that was Eve.

She wasn’t an afterthought. She wasn’t an accessory made out of spare parts. She was the spiritual principle already living inside the first human, waiting to be revealed.

The rulers want her. The texts are blunt about their intentions and they are not good ones.

But when they come for her, she isn’t catchable. The spiritual woman leaves a likeness behind and the light itself slips away.

Yaldabaoth opens Adam’s side and believes he’s fashioning a woman for his purposes.

He thinks he’s dividing them.

He’s actually completing the delivery.

That was the plan the whole time.

The Garden Is a Prison

Then he puts them in a garden.

And we have been taught to read that garden as paradise — the perfect place, the thing we lost, the home we’re trying to get back to.

Read it again with fresh eyes.

An enclosure. Maintained by the being who owns you. With one rule, one prohibition, and a punishment attached.

That’s not a paradise. That’s a very nice enclosure.

And in the middle of it, the tree of knowledge — planted there by forethought. Not by him. The one thing in the garden that wasn’t his.

“Do Not Eat”

He tells them not to.

And notice how it’s said. It’s said in a way that draws attention straight to it. Forbidding is the loudest form of pointing.

Because the wisdom already in Adam knows what a rule like that means.

Then the serpent comes.

In the version we were handed, the serpent is the deceiver.

In this one, the serpent is the Instructor. The one trying to get a message past the guard.

Eat. You’re being kept. There’s something above him. He is not who he says he is.

And they do.

They Don’t Fall. They Wake Up.

The instant they eat, they know.

They see the being standing over them clearly — his limits, his ignorance, the fact that he is beneath them spiritually.

They cover themselves, and read that gesture carefully: it isn’t shame about their bodies. It’s the reflex of people who have just realized who they’re standing in front of.

He finds out. And he throws them out.

Not for disobedience.

For knowing.

The first crime in human history was reaching for knowledge, and the punishment was exile.

Now go back to Part One and read what I wrote when I was imagining what I’d do if I wanted this planet:

I would make wisdom the crime. My very first move would be to establish that the ultimate punishment came from seeking knowledge. Get that in early enough and curiosity itself becomes the original sin.

I wrote that before I put this article together.

And Then He Tried to Wipe the Board

Here’s where the story goes somewhere most people have never heard, and it involves a scene you have known since childhood.

Because the first ruler is now losing.

Every move he makes gets turned. He built a slave and the slave came out brighter than him. He tried to seize the light and it slipped through his hands. He forbade the tree and they ate from it anyway. He threw them out of the garden and they took the knowledge with them.

And humanity keeps multiplying, and the light keeps spreading, and every generation carries a little more of the thing he can’t make and can’t take back.

He hates all of it.

So he does what he does.

He brings a flood.

Not as justice. Not as a grieving parent cleaning up a broken world.

As a purge. To drown the light and start over with something more obedient.

Now open Genesis and read what it actually says about the motive:

“And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth.” — Genesis 6:6–7

Regret. Grief. And then total destruction of everything that breathes.

Both accounts describe a creator who was displeased with what he made and erased it.

The only thing they disagree about is whether that was righteousness.

But somebody warned Noah

And this is the beat I need you to catch.

In the Gnostic accounts, the warning does not come from the one bringing the flood.

Forethought — the light, the higher power, the actual divine — reaches down and warns Noah that it’s coming.

Read that again, because the theological architecture is completely different.

In the story we were raised on, God causes the flood and saves Noah. Same being. He destroys the world with one hand and preserves a remnant with the other, and we’re taught to call the whole package mercy.

In this version, those are two different parties.

One brings the water.

The other gets word to the people in its path.

And The Secret Book of John goes out of its way to contradict the official account directly. It says they were hidden away in a place of light —

“not as Moses said, that they hid in an ark.”

I sat with that sentence for a long time.

Because it isn’t vague. It isn’t allegory. It’s a text looking straight at Genesis and saying: that detail is wrong, and here’s what actually happened.

Somebody was arguing about this in the second century.

And then, a couple hundred years later, somebody put the argument in a jar and buried it.

Somebody Tried to Tell Us

This isn’t one book, and that’s what got me.

The same reversal shows up across multiple separate texts:

On the Origin of the World.

The Nature of the Rulers.

The Revelation of Adam.

Different documents. Different authors. Same story running the other direction.

And The Revelation of Adam is the one that undid me — because it’s Adam, at the end of his life, telling his son Seth what actually happened.

He explains that he came to understand he’d been living under the rules of a being who was not the true God. That the glory he and Eve carried was greater than the one who made the garden. And he passes it down, deliberately, so it won’t be lost.

A father telling his son: here is what they did to us, and here is what’s really above us.

Somebody tried to warn us.

They wrote it down. They told it and retold it. And when it became dangerous to own, somebody sealed it in a jar and buried it in the sand rather than let it disappear.

It survived.

Most of us still don’t know it.

And the story isn’t over.

Four hundred years of argument. Councils, emperors, heretics, burned manuscripts. A collection assembled by human beings inside empires, with something to lose.

This time we look at the name.

And I want to say clearly, before we start: I am not asking you to take my word for anything here. Almost everything in this article is dirt, stone, and ink. Excavated sites. Dated inscriptions. Manuscripts older than the ones your Bible was translated from.

You can check every piece of it.

So let’s say the thing out loud.

Yahweh is not God.

You may have heard it before. You may have felt it before. You may be pissed to read it.

But this isn’t new news. It’s only new to us — because it’s been hidden, or at the very least, never taught.

Now let me show you why.

Yahweh Did Not Originate With the Bible

This is the starting point, and it changes everything downstream.

The biblical texts are not our earliest evidence for Yahweh.

There’s an old scholarly proposal called the Midianite–Kenite hypothesis. The basic idea: Yahweh’s original cult came from south of Canaan — among peoples associated with Seir, Edom, Midian, the southern wilderness, and related populations the Egyptians called the Shasu.

It’s been debated for over a century. It isn’t settled.

But here’s what makes it impossible to wave away:

The Bible’s own oldest poetry remembers it.

“LORD, when thou wentest out of Seir, when thou marchedst out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled.” — Judges 5:4

“The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; he shined forth from mount Paran.” — Deuteronomy 33:2

“God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran.” — Habakkuk 3:3

Different texts. Same direction.

Yahweh keeps arriving from the south. He comes from somewhere.

That is very strange language for a deity who was always supposed to be the native high God of Canaan — and it’s not the language you’d invent later. These are among the oldest poems in the Hebrew Bible, and they preserve a memory the later theology had no use for.

And then there’s Egypt.

In the temple of Soleb, built under Amenhotep III around the 14th century BCE, there’s a topographical list of enemy territories. One entry reads: the land of the Shasu of Yhw.

That inscription is older than the Bible. It may be older than Israel.

Now, in fairness: plenty of scholars aren’t convinced that’s the same Yahweh. It could be a coincidence of consonants. That argument is real and I’m not going to bury it — you can weigh it yourself.

But the question doesn’t go away:

Why does the earliest geographical memory around Yahweh keep pointing south?

That’s one of the major pieces of this puzzle.

So When Does Yahweh Actually Show Up?

Here’s what got me. You don’t need a single archaeologist for this part.

Just follow the plot of your own Bible.

Moses kills an Egyptian. He panics. He runs. (Exodus 2:11–15)

Where does he run to? Midian.

Who takes him in? A priest of Midian — Jethro.

He marries Jethro’s daughter. He works Jethro’s flocks. He builds an entire life inside a Midianite household.

And then comes Exodus 3.

Moses is out shepherding Jethro’s sheep, at a mountain in Midianite territory, when a bush catches fire and doesn’t burn.

And that is the scene — that exact scene, on that mountain, on that land, while employed by that priest — where Moses asks for a name.

And that is where he gets it.

Not in Egypt. Not in Canaan. Not from his mother, his people, or his ancestors.

Moses learns the name of God while working for a Midianite priest, on Midianite ground.

Then he takes it back to Egypt with him.

And then there’s the dinner nobody talks about

Fast forward to Exodus 18.

Jethro comes out to the camp. And look at what he says when he arrives:

“Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods.”

Then Jethro takes a burnt offering and sacrifices to God. And Aaron comes, and all the elders of Israel come, and they eat bread with Moses’s father-in-law before God.

Read that scene cold, with no assumptions.

The priest of Midian is presiding. He brings the offering. Israel’s entire leadership shows up and eats at his table, at his rite.

That does not read like a foreign in-law being converted.

That reads like Israel being brought into somebody else’s worship.

The Midianite hypothesis isn’t some fringe theory imposed on the text from outside.

It’s sitting there as the plot.

Kuntillet Ajrud: The Inscription Nobody Taught You

If you take one piece of physical evidence from this article, take this one.

Kuntillet Ajrud is a site in the Sinai, roughly 8th century BCE. A way station. Travelers passed through and left inscriptions and drawings on the walls and on storage jars.

What they wrote invokes:

“YHWH of Samaria”

and

“YHWH of Teman”

Stop there for a second.

Localized Yahwehs. Yahweh-of-a-place. The same grammar you’d use for any regional deity in the ancient Near East — the god of this city, the god of that mountain.

That is not the universal, abstract, everywhere-at-once God of later Judaism and Christianity. That is a god with addresses.

And it gets bigger.

The inscriptions bless in the name of “YHWH and his asherah.”

A second site, Khirbet el-Qom, roughly 750 BCE, has a comparable formula.

Now — scholars argue about what asherah means in that phrase. It could be the goddess Asherah, consort of El in the Canaanite world. It could be a cult object associated with her — a sacred pole or tree. That debate is live and I’m not going to pretend it’s finished.

But either way, the implication is enormous: in 8th-century Israel, ordinary people were blessing each other in the name of Yahweh and something of Asherah’s.

That is not what you were told happened.

And the same site references El and Baal.

Some scholars read those as distinct Canaanite gods sitting alongside Yahweh. Others propose they function as epithets — aspects of Yahweh himself.

Either reading gives you the same conclusion: the religious world of actual Israelites was far more crowded and fluid than the finished Bible lets on.

Meanwhile: Who Was El?

Here’s where it gets fascinating.

In 1928, a farmer in Syria hit a stone slab with a plow. Underneath was Ugarit — a buried Canaanite city with a library.

For the first time we could read the neighbors’ scriptures in their own language.

And what we found was a full pantheon:

El — the high god. The father. The aged one. Called Bull El, and Father of Years. He presides over a divine council of sons.

Asherah (Athirat) — his consort.

Baal / Hadad — the storm god. Clouds, thunder, rain, mountain, kingship.

Yam — the Sea. Chaos.

Mot — Death.

Anat — warrior goddess.

Now hold that list, and notice something about the word El itself.

It’s two things at once. It’s the proper name of a specific high deity — and it’s the ordinary Northwest Semitic word for “god.”

The Hebrew Elohim comes out of that same linguistic family.

El Is Already Inside Your Bible

You don’t have to dig for this part. It’s sitting in the text in plain sight.

The divine titles:

El Shaddai. El Elyon. El Olam. Elohim.

The names of the people:

Samu-el. Dani-el. Gabri-el. Micha-el. Ishma-el.

And the name of the nation itself:

Isra-EL.

Not Isra-Yah.

The people are named for El. Their patriarchs, prophets, and archangels are named for El. The oldest Egyptian reference to them — the Merneptah Stele, around 1208 BCE — calls them Israel.

If Yahweh had been there from the beginning, why is everyone named after somebody else?

And then there’s this, which I still can’t quite believe is printed in every Bible on earth:

“And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD: And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty (El Shaddai), but by my name JEHOVAH (YHWH) was I not known to them.” — Exodus 6:2–3

Read it again.

The text is telling you, directly, that the patriarchs worshipped El Shaddai and did not know the name Yahweh.

But look closer, because there’s a second thing happening in that verse.

Yahweh isn’t just reporting what the patriarchs called him.

Yahweh is saying he was the one using the name El Shaddai.

So which is it? Is that his name, or isn’t it?

Because if it isn’t — if El Shaddai is somebody else’s name, and you showed up wearing it for three generations before quietly swapping it out —

what exactly are we sniffing out here?

That’s not a heresy I’m importing. That’s Exodus, in plain English, in your own Bible. You can go confirm it in thirty seconds.

But Here’s Where It Gets Really Interesting

Because Genesis didn’t get the memo.

Exodus 6:3 says the patriarchs did not know the name YHWH.

And then Genesis uses it with Abraham constantly.

Abraham builds an altar and “called upon the name of the LORD.” — Genesis 12:8

“I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees.” — Genesis 15:7

Abraham names the place Jehovah-jireh — YHWH will provide. — Genesis 22:14

It’s even earlier than that. All the way back in Genesis 4:26, generations before Abraham exists: “then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.”

So which is it?

Did Abraham know the name or didn’t he?

And then — in the same book — God shows up and introduces himself by the other name:

“When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said unto him, I am El Shaddai; walk before me, and be thou perfect.” — Genesis 17:1

“And God said unto him, I am El Shaddai. Be fruitful and multiply.” — Genesis 35:11

Abraham → El Shaddai.

Jacob → El Shaddai.

And it keeps going. Isaac blesses Jacob in the name of El Shaddai (Genesis 28:3). Jacob invokes El Shaddai over his sons (Genesis 43:14). Jacob tells Joseph that El Shaddai appeared to him at Luz (Genesis 48:3).

Over and over, when the God of the patriarchs opens his mouth to say his own name, the name he says is El Shaddai.

Now — I want to be clear that I am not the first person to notice this. This is a recognized problem in biblical scholarship, and it has a standard explanation.

The explanation is that Genesis and Exodus are not one voice. They are multiple source traditions woven together by later editors — and those traditions disagreed with each other about when the name YHWH entered the world. One strand uses YHWH from the opening chapters. Another holds the name back until Moses, at the burning bush, gets the reveal.

The editors kept both.

They stitched the seam and left it showing.

And I want you to notice what that explanation actually concedes, because it’s not a small thing:

The book contradicts itself about the name of God — and it does so because it was assembled out of competing traditions that could not agree on who had been talking to Abraham.

That’s not my theory. That’s the mainstream academic account of your Bible.

We spent all of last week on how this book got built. This is what those seams look like up close.

So Yahweh Absorbed El

Here’s the reconstruction that fits the evidence.

Yahweh begins as a distinct deity associated with a southern region and population.

He enters the religious world of early Israel — a world already populated by El, Asherah, Baal, and the rest.

And then something extraordinary happens.

Yahweh starts absorbing the others.

Not conquering them. Not deleting them. Becoming them. Taking their titles, their functions, their myths, their jobs.

Most importantly: Yahweh absorbs El.

The distinction between them dissolves until the equation reads:

YHWH = El = Elohim

Ladies and gentlemen — we have our first conglomerate.

Several separate entities, quietly merged under one holding company, until nobody remembers the original brands or who was operating first.

And there’s a word for what happens when the competition gets absorbed one by one, until only a single supplier is left standing and you have nowhere else to shop.

We call that a monopoly.

He Also Took Baal’s Weather

This is some of the strongest comparative evidence there is.

Baal is the storm god. His signature is clouds, thunder, rain, mountain, and kingship.

And Yahweh ends up with the entire kit.

The God of the oldest Israelite poetry is not the abstract, philosophical, purely spiritual being of later theology. He is physical. Atmospheric. Deeply anthropomorphic.

Thunder is his voice. Clouds travel with him. Fire goes before him. He descends onto mountains. He controls the rain. He fights.

Read Psalm 29 sometime with Baal in mind. Scholars have noted for a century how much it reads like a storm-god hymn with one name swapped in.

The ancient Near East had a standard vocabulary for this kind of deity.

Israel’s innovation wasn’t inventing new imagery.

It was declaring: those attributes belong to YHWH alone.

And He Took Baal’s War With the Sea

This one is my favorite, because it’s so specific.

In the Ugaritic Baal Cycle, Baal fights Yam — the Sea, chaos itself. He wins. And his victory is what establishes his kingship.

Storm deity defeats Sea → becomes divine king.

That’s the template across the whole ancient Near East.

Now open the Psalms.

“Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters. Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces.” — Psalm 74:13–14

“Thou rulest the raging of the sea... Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces.” — Psalm 89:9–10

“In that day the LORD... shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent... and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.” — Isaiah 27:1

Yam. Leviathan. Rahab. The dragon. The waters.

Same fight. Same chaos. Same kingship established by winning it.

The imagery migrated.

The Ledger

Put it all in one column and the pattern is impossible to miss.

EL → High God. Father. Creator. Divine king.

BAAL-HADAD → Storm. Thunder. Rain. Mountain. Warrior.

YAM → Combat with the Sea and chaos — and the kingship won by it.

BAAL → Lordship. Kingship.

ASHERAH → Her cult suppressed. No successor named.

THE DIVINE COUNCIL → Yahweh takes the seat at the head of the assembly.

THE SOUTHERN TRADITION → Yahweh’s original homeland, quietly retired.

NATIONAL PATRON → Yahweh becomes the God of Israel.

CREATOR → Yahweh becomes maker of heaven and earth.

Here’s the better research question, and I want to hand it to you directly.

Don’t ask “Was Yahweh secretly Baal?”

Ask:

Which characteristics, titles, myths, and functions originally belonged to other gods — and became Yahweh’s?

That question has evidence behind it. Piles of it.

And Then There’s Psalm 82

If you only chase down one passage after reading this, make it this one.

“God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.” — Psalm 82:1

A divine council. Plural gods. Sitting in your Bible right now.

That imagery makes a great deal more sense against the Canaanite conception of a divine assembly headed by El.

So ask the questions:

Who is the God standing in the council?

Who are the other gods?

Was the speaker originally El?

Was Yahweh originally one member of that assembly?

At what point does Yahweh become the head of it?

And what happened to everyone else?

Then look at Deuteronomy 32:8–9, where it gets almost too clean.

Your standard Hebrew text says the Most High divided the nations “according to the number of the sons of Israel.”

But the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Septuagint — both older witnesses — read “according to the number of the sons of God.”

In that older reading, Elyon divides up humanity among the divine sons.

And Yahweh’s allotted portion is Jacob.

Yahweh doesn’t do the dividing.

Yahweh receives a share.

What Actually Happened

The honest historical picture looks like a progression:

Polytheism — many gods exist.

↓

Henotheism / monolatry — many gods exist, but Israel worships YHWH.

↓

Monotheism — only YHWH exists at all.

That transition is far messier, slower, and more contested than the finished Bible presents it.

The Bible didn’t record monotheism. The Bible is the artifact of monotheism being built, with the seams still showing.

If you want to go deeper, start with Mark S. Smith (The Early History of God), Frank Moore Cross (Canaanite Myth and Hebrew Epic), and Michael Heiser (The Unseen Realm) — and note that Heiser was a believing evangelical who accepted the divine council material outright. This is not an atheist argument.

Whose Story Is This, Anyway?

Here’s the question I can’t put down, and it’s where we’re headed next.

If the name arrived from the south — carried back from Midian by a man who learned it while herding another priest’s sheep —

then whose stories are we actually reading?

Take Eden. We treat Genesis 2 and 3 as the account of human origins. Universal. The story of everybody.

But the Eden narrative comes from a specific strand of the text — the one scholars call the Yahwist, because it uses the name YHWH from the opening lines, long before Exodus claims that name was revealed.

Which means the garden story doesn’t come from some neutral universal record.

It comes from the tradition most invested in Yahweh, telling the story its own way.

That’s a story. It may not be the story.

And if there’s a version told from the other direction — one where the being in the garden isn’t who he says he is, and the fruit wasn’t a fall —

wouldn’t you want to read it?

Somebody wrote one down.

And somebody else buried it in a jar in the desert.

Now Here’s Where I Go Further Than the Scholars

I want to draw a hard line here, because you deserve to know exactly where the evidence stops and where I start.

Everything above is documented. The inscriptions, the manuscripts, the Ugaritic texts, the older readings, the absorption of titles — that’s the mainstream picture. Scholars conclude that El and Yahweh merged, and that Israelite religion consolidated over centuries into monotheism.

Scholarship does not conclude that Yahweh is an impostor.

That part is mine.

Because I’ve read the profile. I know what it looks like when something takes a name that isn’t its own, redefines the God people were already reaching for, absorbs the titles, edits the record, and ends up receiving the worship.

We built that profile in Part One.

And I know what love is, and what love is not. We settled that in Part Two.

So when I read a text where the patriarchs are named for El, worship El Shaddai, and don’t know the name Yahweh —

and then Yahweh arrives from the south, takes El’s throne, takes Baal’s thunder, takes the council, and the goddess quietly disappears —

I don’t see a theology developing.

I see a takeover.

The evidence is yours to weigh. The conclusion is yours to draw.

But I’ll say mine plainly: the being I met is not the one who told a father to bind his son to an altar.

And the story isn’t over.

I’m going to answer that. But not yet.

Because I can’t hand you that answer honestly until you understand where the introduction came from.

So this week: “the big book”.

Not whether it’s true. Where it came from, who assembled it, what got left out, and who was in the room when those decisions were made.

Buckle up.

What the Bible Actually Is

The Bible is a collection.

I am not saying the stories in it are false. I’m saying they are writings by individuals — people, honestly, kind of like me — who had personal experiences with something beyond them and told stories about it.

Around the fire they probably sat with family and friends and the conversations may have been their dreams, Their visions, their encounters.

Passed down through generations by mouth before anyone wrote a word.

Then writing developed, and they were dictated. Some were composed directly — letters, journal pages, poetry, personal anecdotes about brushes with the greater powers of the world.

All of it eventually gathered into a Hebrew library. Some contributed. Some copied. Some lost. Some found again in caves two thousand years later.

Before there was a Bible, communities of belief circulated their own collections of these writings.

Many of those made it in.

All of them did not.

And that sentence is the whole reason I’m writing this series.

Which God Are We Even Talking About?

Language is tricky. Things pick up a little flare as they move through time. But let’s be generous and say the heart of a story survives the trip.

Fine.

Now put a Muslim, a Christian, a Hindu, a Buddhist, and a Catholic in a room and have every one of them say the word God.

Which one are they talking about?

Now read texts from all over — different regions, different centuries, different societies — and ask it again.

Which God?

Because before monotheism existed, every area had its own god and its own system.

And territory, weather, hardship, and lifestyle all shaped what kind of god a culture ended up with.

In the lush places — good forestry, mild climate, water that keeps flowing — that god tends to be bountiful. Nourishing. Generous.

Across town, where it’s famine and pestilence and brutal weather?

That god is judgmental. That god punishes. That god sends storms and chaos and takes it personally.

The god matched the land.

Hold that thought. It matters more than you think, and we come back to it in the next article.

Nobody Voted on the Bible in a Single Afternoon

Now — I want to be careful here, because there’s a popular version of this story that is simply not true, and I’m not going to hand you a myth while I’m asking you to question one.

You’ve probably heard that the Bible was assembled at the Council of Nicaea in 325 CE, by Constantine, in one room.

That is not what happened. Nicaea dealt with whether Jesus was of the same substance as the Father, and with the date of Easter. The canon isn’t in the records at all.

The truth is worse.

Because it wasn’t one meeting. It was four hundred years of argument.

Around 144 CE, a man named Marcion published his own canon. He rejected the Hebrew scriptures entirely, because he had read them carefully and concluded that the God of the Old Testament — jealous, wrathful, tribal, violent — could not possibly be the same being as the loving Father that Jesus described.

Different character. Different fruit. Different God.

He was declared a heretic. His work was destroyed. We know what he said mostly through the writings of the men who refuted him.

Sit with that for a second.

In the second century, someone made the exact argument I’m building toward in this series — and the church convicted him for it and burned the evidence.

Around 170–200 CE we get the Muratorian Fragment, an early partial list. Still contested.

In 367 CE, Athanasius writes a festal letter that contains the first list matching the 27 New Testament books you own today. That’s more than three centuries after the crucifixion.

In 393 and 397, the Synod of Hippo and the Council of Carthage affirm it.

In 1546, at the Council of Trent, the Catholic church formally fixes its canon — and it does so in reaction to the Reformation. Which means the final boundaries of the book were still being drawn fifteen hundred years in, in the middle of a political fight.

Four centuries of deliberation. Then another millennium of adjustment.

By human beings. Inside empires. With something to lose.

And Constantine Was Absolutely in the Room

Everything I just said makes Constantine more relevant, not less.

He convened Nicaea. He presided over it. And he did not do it because he wanted every peasant in the empire to have an intimate, unmediated, personal relationship with their Creator.

He wanted unity. One faith, one empire, one instrument of cohesion.

That was the intent. That was the energy. That was the goal behind the build.

This does not mean nothing in the Bible happened.

It means history can be edited to serve a purpose — and here the purpose was shaped by men’s egos, by an emperor’s ambitions, and by whatever was in the room when the votes were taken.

And go back and look at the profile we built in Part One.

Burn the books. Erase the history. Control the population. Make questions dangerous.

Some of those characteristics were definitely in the room.

Because whatever the motive was, it was not I want these people to know God for themselves.

Cut to Today

The Bible is still one of the most-read books on this planet.

Christianity holds enormous influence. Depending on who you ask, we live in a Christian state.

And look at the map — the nations with the most control over this world tend to have Christian foundations. I’d go further: every major Abrahamic religion holds serious stake, serious influence, and serious territory here.

Billions of people. One book. One name at the center of it.

Yahweh.

At least, that’s how most of us understand it.

But These Gods Existed Before the Book

Here’s what most people never get told.

The names have origins.

Yahweh did not begin with the Bible. Neither did El. Neither did Elohim, or El Shaddai, or El Elyon.

They have histories that predate the book that made them famous — histories written down by other people, in other languages, about other gods, in cities we dug up out of the sand less than a hundred years ago.

And once you know where those names came from, you cannot read Genesis the same way again.

We took everything the Devil is supposed to be — adversary, deceiver, father of lies — and then asked the only question that actually matters:

What would he do if he wanted Earth for himself?

Convert the kings first. Get to the children at birth. Make wisdom the crime. Edit the holy books. Take every side of every fight. Keep everyone tired, ashamed, afraid to ask questions — and absolutely certain that sin was their nature.

And at the end, I told you to hold on to something.

Because I know what some of you felt reading that list. I felt it too.

Some of those characteristics sound familiar.

Don’t run from it.

But I’m also not going to leave you standing in the dark — because the whole point of naming the dark is so you can see what it isn’t.

Two models, side by side.

MODEL A — God as Dictator

God rules creation with a mighty fist.

Therefore:

God commands → humans obey.

God establishes order → rebellion is punished.

God chooses a people → enemies are destroyed.

God gives law → violation produces consequences.

God intervenes → miracles, plagues, victories.

God is sovereign. God has favorites. God is jealous.

Now sit with that a second and ask yourself honestly:

Is that your version of love?

Is that the love you know in your heart?

Is that the omnipotent, omnipresent love you want in your life?

Or does this make more sense?

MODEL B — Divine Love

God is not the strict ruler of existence. God is the creator of it through the power of love.

Yeshua said his Father was love. So let’s take that seriously and ask what love looks like when it’s in charge.

Start human, because that’s where we can see it.

Think of a just ruler. Not a tyrant — a just one. They protect. They take less than they give. They want their people strong enough that they barely need ruling at all.

Think of a just parent. They teach instead of punish. They let the child fail, because failing is how you learn anything. They stay when the kid gets it wrong. And they raise you, deliberately, to walk out the door on your own two feet.

Now multiply that tenfold. A hundredfold.

Because those are only human beings running on the principles of love. Imagine the source of it.

I can’t fully describe God.

But I can tell you without a doubt what love is — and what love is not.

Love does not dominate or conquer. It already is everything, already in charge. To be is not to need.

Love does not take revenge. Cause and effect handle that. What you cast out carries back. Good and bad. Victory and, sometimes, defeat.

Love does not demand worship. Anything that has to be feared to be followed isn’t love.

Love does not seize the wheel. A love that overrides you isn’t love. It’s ownership.

And what love does:

Love creates. It’s the fundamental creative principle. The soup the whole thing churns in.

Love frees. Ultimate freedom, without judgment, is love. You get to be you — whether it agrees with you or not. That was never the point.

Love lets consequences be real. We each carry the karmic weight of what we chose. That’s fair.

Love empowers. Any ruler worth the title wants their people strong. Needing less. Standing in their own dignity.

Love stays. No matter how far you wander or how badly you get it wrong, the thread holds. I believe that thread is infinite life — a connection that puts you closer to your Creator and amplifies you right here, right now.

You just keep getting to try.

Christianity Already Wrote This Down

Here’s the part that stopped me.

I didn’t have to go outside the Bible to find this definition. It’s sitting right there:

“Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not... is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.” — 1 Corinthians 13:4–5

Not jealous.

Not easily angered.

Keeping no record of wrongs.

Now go back and read Model A again.

That’s not a king managing subjects.

That’s a parent raising heirs.

And Yeshua said it out loud:

“Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?” — John 10:34

So now we’ve got two models and one uncomfortable question hanging in the air.

If Model A isn’t love — and the Bible’s own definition says it isn’t — then who exactly have we been talking to?

That’s the wanted poster. Next, we build the case file.

I’ve Been Sitting On This One

Not because I hadn’t worked it out. I’ve had this worked out for a while.

I sat on it because I knew exactly how it would land, and I wasn’t ready for the response.

Then I watched 1 New Ager vs 20 Christians

The whole thing was fascinating. I couldn’t stop commenting. I couldn’t stop sharing. And somewhere in the middle of typing out yet another response, I caught myself doing the thing I always do — circling the point instead of making it.

Watching Christianity get put on the stand like that didn’t shock me. Honestly, it’s exactly what I’d expect during a time of ascension. The old structures come up for questioning. That is the assignment.

But it did stop me from hiding my own answer.

So here it is.

I believe the God of the Old Testament is the Devil. Cosplaying as God.

I know.

Somebody out there is already reaching for the holy water.

But hear me out — because I am nowhere near the first person to land here. This argument is old. Scholars have circled it for centuries, and people were making it before the Bible was even finished being assembled. One of them got branded a heretic and had his writings destroyed for it in the second century. We’ll meet him later in this series.

I’m just the one saying it on the internet with my whole chest.

And the second I let myself say it out loud, it left me holding a much stranger question.

If that’s supposed to be God —

then who is the Devil?

So Let’s Run the Exercise

Assuming he exists at all.

For the purposes of this article, let’s pretend he does.

Because if there really is an adversary working this planet — what in the hell would he actually do?

Say he wanted it. Not souls, not converts. The whole thing. Dominion over Earth.

What would that even look like?

Look around at the madness and the chaos and tell me that’s too wild to consider.

If I had to name a motive — a single, driving why — the only thing I can come to is this:

A population of slaves who surrender their life force simply to exist here.

To struggle. To suffer. To feel fear. To submit. To stay in line.

And to never leave.

I don’t want to tell you what to believe. I want us to investigate.

We’re going back into the ancient texts. We’re going to look at the Hebrew and the Greek, examine the world these writings came out of, ask uncomfortable questions, and follow the story wherever it leads.

Because what I’ve uncovered is stranger than fiction.

Why Would I Want to Know the Bad Guy?

I left Christianity 22 years ago — and still, five years ago, you couldn’t have gotten me to seriously talk about this.

I believed that looking too closely could infect my mind. Invite demons into my life. Open the door to wrath and darkness and plagues.

I was taught: You don’t look into the abyss.

Because if you stare into the darkness long enough, eventually the darkness stares back.

But two things kept haunting me.

First: How convenient that you can’t even look at the Devil without surrendering to him.

Second: Why wouldn’t God want me to know the enemy?

If there really is an adversary working against humanity, wouldn’t understanding who — or what — that adversary is be one of the most important things I could possibly know?

If someone is deceiving you, wouldn’t you want their methods, their motives, their twists and turns?

How else do you understand the game?

WANTED — THE DEVIL The world’s biggest, most effective terrorist.

So here’s the exercise.

Our job is to determine his strategy.

What are his motives? How is he achieving them? What tools is he using?

Where is he?

Because before you can stop someone, you have to know everything about him.

So I stand before you with a mighty presentation. Not to sway you — just to percolate the idea.

And I have one question.

WWTDD?

First, the Personality Assessment

We can agree the Devil sucks, right?

Even if you don’t believe in him — if he existed, he would suck. The worst kind of narcissist.

The Bible certainly doesn’t have anything good to say about him.

Satan means adversary. Opponent.

The father of lies. The destroyer. The prime mover of wickedness. He deceives the whole world, and he’s organized and powerful enough to be fighting God for this planet.

He was an angel. He has the power of an angel.

He’s been called every name there is, and I don’t think you need me to prove what kind of mystic deity we’re dealing with.

So from what we already understand about what “bad” looks like, we can fill in the rest of the profile:

Petty. Jealous. Murderous. Egotistical. Crafty. Furious.

Desperate to be worshipped.

An angry, mean thief.

Now — we all know people who fit that description. Every background, every color, every creed, each with a completely different personality.

But the thread runs through this world like wildfire catching kindling.

Look at the worst of this place: slavery, sexual abuse, abduction, war, famine, greed, destruction.

Every one of them a quality I associate with the Devil.

And most of them fuel our economy and hold up our lifestyles.

So how did he get here?

And how would he keep it?

I had to work backwards.

So — What Would the Devil Do?

If I were the Devil — and I am not saying that I am — but if I were, what would I do to take over Earth?

First, I would start as early as I possibly could.

Back at the beginning of humanity, before manuscripts, before anyone had a working idea of one God.

That way, by the time you got here, you’d look at the wreckage and call it human nature.

I would convince people I was God.

I would never let them know I was the Devil.

Sure, a few people might love that I was the Devil and want to join up. But a handful of volunteers doesn’t give you a planet.

I would need a population.

So I’d look for people already searching — people who desperately needed God. In bondage. In famine. In strife. Wanting to be free.

And I would tell them they’d found Him.

Then I would redefine God.

Because I don’t possess the qualities of God, I’d have to change what people expect God to be.

I’d stage grand moments so you could see my power.

I’d make them feel superior for what they did in my name.

I’d excommunicate anyone who wasn’t on my side.

I’d go to war with anyone I disagreed with.

I’d set them fighting amongst themselves.

And I would edit their holy books, so finding the real God became a maze.

I would make wisdom the crime.

I’d keep my followers from the truth — and my very first move would be to establish that the ultimate punishment came from seeking knowledge.

Get that in early enough and curiosity itself becomes the original sin.

I would convert kings first.

Rule the ruler. Master the master.

Much easier job.

And I would get to everyone else at birth.

It’s far easier to control someone who’s been converted since they could walk.

So I’d make sure the parents did it. The schools did it. The community did it.

That way it spreads on its own, generation to generation, and nobody has to be convinced of anything ever again.

Then I’d run the standard playbook — the one I probably invented.

Look at what dictators actually do. The pattern is not subtle:

Burn the books. Remove the temples. Erase the history. Control the population. Use fear. Use subversion. Use submission.

I would keep you tired.

Because rest means time to think. And time to think means questions.

I would live in your culture.

I’d plant myself in the easiest paths of influence:

Technology. Media. Movies. Music. Politics. Church.

And I’d take every side of every fight — so you could squabble amongst yourselves while I won either way.

I’d make sure everyone felt like a victim, so you came to me with all of it. Personal power? Absolutely not.

I would be careful with the truth.

Humanity isn’t stupid, so I’d have to be clever with the dosage.

Take out too much truth and the whole thing becomes unbelievable.

Leave in too much and nobody takes my side.

But if people believe they’re worshipping God — while all the power flows back to me?

That is a very good tactic.

Above all: stay hidden.

It reminds me of The Wizard of Oz.

Smoke and mirrors. Something that looks like God, but whose fruit doesn’t match the output.

The ultimate Wizard.

Only the specially blessed may speak to me.

A little fire, a little smoke, and you’ll be too intimidated to come close enough to check.

And let’s be honest — most of us would be too ego-driven to ask whether we were being approached by the Devil or by God.

We would all want it to be God.

So I would make questions dangerous.

I’d make it illegal to question the system.

I’d warn you away from psychics, mystics, and anyone claiming to see past the accepted boundaries.

And I would absolutely tell you not to talk to any other gods.

I’d keep you dependent on me — always a little ashamed, always a little sinful, always a little disobedient.

I’d tell you that sin is your nature. That you were never good enough to begin with.

I would terrify you with demons and hell and eternal damnation, so you’d do whatever it took to stay out.

I would punish often and heavily, so nobody stepped out of line.

I would make you work very hard for the things you need.

And I would keep you just tired enough, just afraid enough, and just distracted enough that you never stop to ask:

Who is actually in charge?

Hold On to the Itch

I know some of you got to the end of that list and something itched.

Some of those characteristics sound familiar.

Hold that. Don’t run from it.

And don’t let me leave you standing in the dark — because the whole point of naming the dark is so you can finally see what it isn’t.

There is another model.

One where the Creator doesn’t need your fear, doesn’t need your submission, and never once needed you small.

Tomorrow, we turn on the light. And once you’ve seen the other model, I don’t think you’ll be able to unsee which one you were handed.

Before We Talk About Ascension, Let’s Start at the Beginning

Ascension teachings are at an all-time high.

Everywhere, lightworkers and spiritual teachers are talking about the next evolution of humanity: a more powerful, more aligned human being—one with greater awareness, greater access to energy, and greater potential for conscious creation.

But most conversations about ascension start in the middle.

Someone tells you that the 5th dimension is coming. That humanity is shifting out of 3D. That we are moving into a higher frequency or a new state of consciousness.

But what does that actually mean?

What is the 5th dimension? Why do we call it a dimension? And what does any of this have to do with the way we actually experience being human?

Before we can answer those questions, I want to back up.

Because if we’re going to talk about where we’re going, we need to understand where we started.

So let’s not start in the middle.

Let’s start where creation starts.

The 1st Dimension: One Point, One Perspective

One single point. One single perspective. God. Alpha and Omega. The individual and the All.

The first dimension is a point. Not a small thing — the thing. One location, one perspective, one existence. There is nowhere else to go because there is nowhere else. Nothing to compare it to, nothing outside of it, nothing separate from it. The point contains the entirety of what exists. This is why I place Alpha and Omega here. The beginning and the end occupy the same coordinate, because at this stage there is only one coordinate. And it’s why the individual and the All are the same thing — there isn’t an individual within creation yet. There is simply All. One. Complete. Whole.

Hold that image for a moment: a single point of light against absolute nothingness. And I mean absolute. Even black doesn’t exist yet, because there’s no space for black to appear in.

Complete. And completely alone in its completeness.

That is the condition everything else is a response to.

And then something happens. The One decides to experience itself.

The First Great Expansion

I like to imagine Source asking a very simple question:

What would it be like to experience myself from another perspective?

What would it be like to be an animal with a long neck and spots moving across the grasslands of Africa? To be a mother of three in San Francisco? To experience birth, loss, love, fear, time? To experience creation from inside creation, rather than from the perspective of the whole?

So the One expands. Not by leaving itself behind, not by becoming less, but by expressing itself through countless perspectives. The single point begins to fractalize. One becomes many — animals, humans, planets, stars, angels, worlds.

But here’s the part that matters: the light never actually leaves the Source. It can’t. There is nowhere outside of the All to go. Every expression of consciousness is still made of the same original light, and every fragment contains the essence of the whole.

Separation Is the Experience, Not the Truth

This is where I think our deepest spiritual misunderstandings begin.

Once the One becomes many, we start perceiving hierarchy. One thing looks closer to God, another looks farther away. Angels get imagined as more holy than humans. Humans as more important than animals. Some people are “spiritually advanced” and others are “asleep.”

But what if the structure isn’t a ladder at all? What if it’s a nesting doll? Not a hierarchy of value — a layered containment of consciousness, where each expression of Source holds and integrates the ones above it. As the light moves into form, it doesn’t lose divinity. It consolidates it.

An angel is a more concentrated expression of a specific divine frequency — less fragmented, closer to the original coherence. But that frequency doesn’t stay isolated “above” you. It’s also inside you, because as Source expresses itself downward, it doesn’t discard what came before. It embeds it.

So a human being isn’t less than an angel. A human being is a composite field — a convergence point where angelic intelligence, animal intelligence, planetary intelligence, and Source intelligence are layered together into one experiential node. An angel holds a more unified expression of light. A human holds that same light, distributed across contrast, emotion, time, and identity. An animal holds it instinctually, in the body. A planet holds it as a vast, slow intelligence of systems and balance. Not separate containers — interpenetrating layers of the same original light, folded into experience.

This is why awakening so often feels like remembering. You’re not acquiring something new. You’re re-accessing layers already contained within you.

The separation is experiential. It is not fundamental.

God Doesn’t Need You to Be Less

This is where my understanding of God departs from the version I was taught to fear.

If God is the Source of everything, why would God need to make us smaller? Why would God be jealous of our power, or threatened by our remembering what we are? I don’t believe the purpose of creation is for God to make us less than God. I believe the purpose is for God to experience itself through us. Which means your individuality isn’t a mistake. Your perspective isn’t a flaw. Your humanity isn’t evidence that you fell out of Source. It’s the whole experience.

So the first dimension gives us something more fundamental than a line on a diagram: one point, one perspective, one expression of existence. The One experiencing itself as One.

Then comes expansion.

The 2nd Dimension: Two Ideas Coming Together

Two ideas coming together. Creation making energy.

Now there are two. And the instant there are two, something exists that didn’t before: the space between them. The relationship. The current running back and forth. The first dimension was existence. The second introduces relationship — and relationship is where energy begins to move.

The Birth of Duality

The original point hasn’t disappeared. It has expressed itself into two positions. There’s a point here and a point there. And because there are two, there is suddenly something to experience: difference.

Left and right. Light and dark. Expansion and contraction. Masculine and feminine.

The moment there is contrast, there is relationship. And relationship creates movement.

This is what I mean by creation making energy. Energy isn’t a substance that was sitting around waiting to be added to the universe. Energy is what we experience when things are in relationship. Two poles create a current. Two ideas meeting is the generative act.

Duality Isn’t Separation

We often talk about duality as though it means two completely separate things. That isn’t what I’m describing.

Duality is one thing expressing itself through two extremes.

Think of a coin. Heads and tails. Two sides — but you don’t have two coins. You have one coin experienced from two sides. The top and the underside aren’t separate objects.

This is why Yin and Yang is such a beautiful representation of the second dimension. Not good versus evil. Not two forces fighting for control. Complementary expressions of one whole — and inside the symbol, each contains a point of the other. A little darkness within the light. A little light within the darkness. Because absolute separation doesn’t exist.

You can’t have left without right. You can’t experience expansion without contraction. The opposite doesn’t destroy the original idea. It reveals it.

One Light, Made Visible

Imagine a single beam of white light passing through a prism. It appears to become many colors — red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet.

But those colors didn’t exist independently of the original light. They were already contained within it. The prism simply made the distinctions visible.

That’s the second dimension. The first great act of differentiation. The One revealing what was already inside itself — not by creating something separate, but by stretching the original idea far enough that we can finally see its range. Like a string pulled between two points: the farther apart they move, the more room the relationship between them has to vibrate, carry frequency, produce resonance. The two ends aren’t sitting independently. They’re connected by the same underlying structure, and that connection is what makes the sound possible.

The First Moment of Knowing

Something else becomes possible here that couldn’t exist before: knowing.

A single point can’t experience contrast. There’s nothing to compare itself against, no this without the possibility of that. But once there are two, perspective becomes possible. The point can experience itself in relation to something else. It can see itself from another position. And through difference, it begins to recognize itself.

The One cannot experience its infinite possibilities while remaining one undifferentiated point. It must expand. Not because the One is incomplete — but because completeness contains infinite possibilities.

The first dimension says: I AM. The second says: I AM — AND THERE IS ANOTHER WAY TO EXPERIENCE WHAT I AM.

Duality is not the mistake. It is not the fall. It is not the opposite of oneness. Duality is how oneness begins to know itself.

That distinction becomes critical at the third dimension.

The 3rd Dimension: Form

Two points give you a line. Distance. Direction. But they can’t give you a shape.

Add a third point and everything changes. Three points create area. A plane. The first enclosed form. For the first time there is something with an inside and an outside — something that can contain, be shaped, become form.

The Holy Trinity

This is where the ancient idea of the Trinity gets interesting to me. Not as a doctrine to agree with, but as a description of a creative structure.

Three points are the minimum required for form to exist. Three is the first stable arrangement — it’s why the triangle holds. It may also explain why three appears again and again in traditions trying to describe how the formless becomes formed.

Something exists. Something interacts with it. Something new emerges from that relationship. One. Two. Three. The One, the polarity, and the creation born of their relationship.

For me the most useful version isn’t Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It’s Father, Mother, Child — not as biological roles or rigid gender categories, but as three creative principles inside each of us.

• Father — structure, direction, discipline, containment.

• Mother — expansion, nourishment, receptivity, possibility.

• Child — expression, curiosity, play, experimentation.

You contain all three. You aren’t required to choose one.

This is where I think a lot of modern spiritual teaching stops short. We talk about embodying the divine feminine, or activating the divine masculine, or healing the inner child. All valuable. But what if the goal isn’t to identify with one of them — it’s to become conscious of all three? You need the ability to create, the ability to contain what you’ve created, and the ability to experience what you’ve made. These aren’t competing energies. They’re three aspects of the same creative consciousness.

The Light Was Always There

An important distinction: your awareness doesn’t create the light. The light already exists. Your awareness lets you participate in it consciously.

Think about your body. Your heart beats whether you think about it or not. Your cells function. Thousands of processes run every second without your attention. Consciousness works the same way. Creation is happening whether you’re aware of it or not — you’re creating, responding, experiencing, participating. You just may not know you’re doing it.

Awareness doesn’t start the process. Awareness lets you enter it consciously.

Humanity Is Here

In this model, humanity has already moved through the second dimension. We recognized polarity. We recognized relationship. And we moved into form.

We build. We make art, technology, families, businesses, systems — entire worlds within the world. We’ve recognized something fundamental: we are creation energy. We don’t simply exist inside creation; we participate in it. We can take an idea and give it form.

That’s an enormous evolutionary step. But we’re still learning to do it consciously, because being able to create something is not the same as understanding what you’re creating and why. This is why so many people feel stuck in 3D. It isn’t a bad place, or something to escape. It’s a developmental stage — where we learn that thoughts become actions, actions become patterns, patterns become structures, and structures become realities.

And notice what’s happening to our point of light. One point became two, and two became three. The perspective gets larger. The field gets larger. But the original point hasn’t disappeared. You haven’t become something other than the One — you’ve become aware of more of what the One contains.

I AM became I AM AND THERE IS ANOTHER, which becomes: I CAN CREATE.

But something is still missing. We have form, space, distance, inside and outside. We haven’t yet explored what happens when consciousness begins to move through that creation.

The 4th Dimension: Space, Container, Higher Self

The third dimension gave us form. The fourth asks us to recognize something subtler:

You are not only the form. You are also the space that contains it.

You are the room and the person standing inside the room. The body and the space the body exists in. The point and the field surrounding it.

From Creating Form to Creating Experience

In 3D we learn we can manipulate matter — build, move, shape, make something physical. Eventually we notice that physical creation is only one layer of what we’re making.

Our thoughts create. Our beliefs, expectations, memories, fears, identities, interpretations — all of them contribute to the container of our experience.

I don’t simply live in the world. I live in the world I’ve created my experience of.

Think about dreaming. When you dream you enter an entire universe: a landscape, people, buildings, conversations, emotions, rules, a storyline. While you’re in it, it feels completely real. But when you wake, you recognize that you created the entire environment the dream occurred in. The people weren’t standing in the room. The landscape wasn’t somewhere you traveled to.

What if waking life contains a similar principle? Not that you create every external event — but that you create your relationship to those events. The meaning. The interpretation. The version of reality you actually experience.

Your Kingdom

This is why I think of the fourth dimension as your kingdom.

Not because you control everything — you don’t. Other people have their own consciousness. The world has its own momentum. But you have dominion over something enormous: your mind, your body, your attention, your interpretation, your choices, your inner environment, your response.

Each of us lives inside a much larger world while carrying a smaller world within it. It’s a massive collaborative project, and you hold one territory of it. The fourth dimension is the recognition that you’re responsible for what you build there.

“Here or There”

The fourth dimension also introduces movement of perspective. Not here and there — here or there.

You’re still experiencing yourself through one point of consciousness, but that point is no longer fixed. You can imagine somewhere else. Remember somewhere else. Dream somewhere else. Project into the future, return to the past, change your internal environment without moving your body.

The body stays in one place. Consciousness moves. And that movement creates the experience of space within awareness.

This is also where I place the Higher Self. Not another person floating above you — the perspective that can see more of the structure than the personality currently occupying one point inside it. The part of you capable of observing the room while also realizing: I am the one standing in the room.

Cleaning Up Your Kingdom

Most of us are sloppy creators. We’ve been building our inner worlds for years without realizing we were building them.

We collect beliefs from our parents. Stories from childhood. Fears from experience. Expectations from society. Judgments from religion. Ideas about money, race, gender, power — about who is safe, who is dangerous, who belongs.

And then we live inside the world those ideas built.

The fourth dimension is the moment you begin to notice. Wait. Who built this? Why do I believe it? Do I still want it? Is it even mine? Or am I inhabiting a structure I inherited?

In this model, thoughts aren’t meaningless clouds passing through your head. They’re creative structures. Some create expansion, some contraction. Some create connection, some separation. And when enough people hold the same thoughts, those thoughts become collective structures.

We Are Creating Together

Return to the second dimension for a moment: two points create relationship.

When you encounter another person, you don’t experience the entirety of who they are. You experience your relationship with them — the version of them that exists within your field of awareness. This is why two people can know the same person and describe someone completely different. They aren’t experiencing the same relationship. They’re experiencing different points of connection.

Now imagine millions of individual consciousnesses creating and interacting at once. Your beliefs shape your choices. Your choices affect other people. Their choices affect you. Those interactions build families, communities, cultures, institutions, systems — until the collective is living inside structures originally made of individual thoughts.

Which makes the question “who created this world?” much more uncomfortable. We did. Not individually. Not equally. Not always consciously. But collectively, we participate in the reality we inhabit.

So the fourth-dimensional question isn’t who’s to blame for the state of the world? It’s: where am I participating in the creation of it? Where do I carry ideas of separation? Where do I reinforce fear? What beliefs about scarcity do I hold?

That isn’t self-blame. It’s reclaiming creative agency — because you cannot consciously change something you refuse to acknowledge your participation in.

The Kingdom Within

This is where certain teachings of Yeshua land differently for me.

In John 10:34, challenged by his critics, he quotes Psalm 82: “I have said, you are gods.” Whatever interpretation you land on, he himself draws attention to the possibility of divine identity reflected in human beings.

And in Luke 17:21: “The kingdom of God is within you.” Other translations render it “among you” or “in your midst,” so there’s a genuine interpretive question here. But through this framework the image is powerful. The kingdom isn’t only somewhere you go. It’s something you inhabit. Something you build. Something you govern.

The New Testament also describes the human being as a temple with the Spirit dwelling within. What emerges isn’t a picture of someone waiting outside the divine kingdom for permission to enter. It’s someone learning to recognize: I am already inside the temple. I’ve been given a piece of creation to tend.

This is where I understand Christ consciousness differently. Not moral perfection. Not being more religious. Becoming increasingly conscious of the divine creative intelligence moving through you — which is also why I don’t see ascension as escaping the physical world. We aren’t abandoning the third dimension. We’re learning to create consciously inside it.

The third dimension teaches: I can create. The fourth teaches: I am responsible for what I create.

And once you can see your own kingdom clearly, something larger becomes possible. You start to realize your kingdom was never actually separate from anyone else’s. The boundaries become transparent. And the question changes from what am I creating? to what are we creating together?

That’s the doorway to the fifth.

The 5th Dimension: Holding Both at Once

To understand where we’re going, I want to go back to the dream.

The Dream Within the Dream

For most of us, dreaming is almost entirely reactive. Something happens, you respond. Someone speaks, you react. Something frightening happens and you run. Throughout all of it, you aren’t conscious of yourself as the creator of the experience. You’re playing a character. You’re in the story. You don’t realize you’re also the one experiencing the story.

Which is exactly how many of us move through waking life. Things happen, we react, we follow patterns, we identify with our roles. We become our jobs, our relationships, our histories, our fears. We experience ourselves from inside the character.

Becoming Lucid

Then something shifts. You become aware that you’re dreaming.

The dream doesn’t disappear — it often becomes more vivid. But another level of awareness is present. You are still inside the dream, and you know you are dreaming.

That’s the best metaphor I know for what happens as consciousness expands. You don’t leave the experience. You become aware within it. The character is still there. The world is still there. But now you can see the character, see the environment, and begin to recognize the consciousness experiencing both.

Stepping Outside the Box

Imagine standing inside a box.

In the third dimension, you experience the box from inside it. In the fourth, you recognize: I am inside the box. You can examine the walls, notice you helped build some of them, start changing what’s in there.

In the fifth, you can step outside the box while still seeing the box — and see yourself inside it. The role you’ve been playing. The patterns you’ve been repeating. And the larger structure surrounding all of it. The character, the story, the container, the observer, the whole. All at once.

It’s like standing on a street: you see buildings, cars, people, trees. Move upward and you see the neighborhood. Higher, the city. Higher still, the whole landscape. Nothing disappeared. You simply changed perspective — and now you can hold a much larger picture at the same time.

You don’t become something other than yourself. Your perspective becomes large enough to contain more of what you already are.

“Or” Becomes “And”

This is the shift.

In the fourth dimension, you’re learning you can be here or there. You can move through memory, imagination, dreams, possibility. But there’s still a sense of choosing between states.

The fifth introduces: here and there.

The dream and waking life. The character and the observer. The individual and the whole. The physical and the energetic. The part and the Source.

Not as literal physical locations existing simultaneously, but as multiple layers of experience consciousness can hold at once. One doesn’t have to cancel the other.

This is what I mean by dimensional travel. If a dimension is a way of experiencing reality, then traveling between dimensions doesn’t mean physically transporting your body. It means changing the perspective from which consciousness is experiencing.

You can stay aware of your body while experiencing yourself as consciousness. You can dream while knowing you’re dreaming. You can observe your thoughts without becoming every thought. You can experience your individual identity while sensing your connection to something vastly larger.

Inside the experience and outside the experience, simultaneously.

The Circle Closes

Look where this brings us.

We started with a single point — one perspective, the entire universe contained within it. Two points created relationship. Three created form. Four created the container, the space where form could be experienced and consciousness could recognize itself as the creator of its experience. And in the fifth, consciousness holds multiple perspectives at once.

Which lands us exactly where we began.

The first dimension was: the individual and the All. The fifth dimension is: the individual experiencing itself as the All while still remaining an individual.

The map becomes a circle. Alpha and Omega. Beginning and end. One and many.

Where This Leaves You

You’re probably working somewhere between the third and fourth dimensions. That is not a deficiency. The third dimension isn’t a mistake you failed to graduate from — form is the achievement. The physical world isn’t the problem. Your body isn’t the problem. Your individuality isn’t the problem. The only question is whether you’re conscious of what you’re doing inside the form.

You stop identifying exclusively as the shape, and start noticing the container. You stop believing your thoughts are simply happening to you, and start recognizing yourself as a participant. You stop seeing other people as separate objects moving through your world, and start seeing the field of relationship connecting all of us.

And eventually you hold more than one perspective at once. The person and the observer. The point and the field. The individual and the All. Inside the dream — and conscious of the dream.

Maybe that’s what ascension actually is.

Not going somewhere else. Becoming conscious of where you already are.

We have the ability to set the tone in our spaces.

So this article is going to go deep: cleaning, clearing, charging, and activating your space to work for you.

Why I’m writing this now

We are smack dab in the middle of the ascension timeline and headed toward the Lionsgate portal on August 12. My guides made it clear that it would be prudent to enter this new energy with a fresh start.

There are a few practices I’ll be partaking in for this mission, including but not limited to:

• Holding a funeral — for my now-closed skincare business, Louloudi; for aspects of me I want to leave behind; and for versions of me that are no longer required

• A land healing ceremony

• A power step in a new direction

I’ll be journaling and communicating about all of it here as it unfolds.

One of those major steps was cleaning the house. The right way. The full way. With all my power.

At the same time, I’ve been reworking all of my services, and I have always wanted to add house clearing to the list — especially since it’s something I already do for myself and for others. So I sat down and wrote out my cleansing protocols to share with you. This is how I run the service, and it’s how I clean my own home.

Here’s the piece I want you to sit with: as we expand our energy, we are purging to make space. And the universe does not care for emptiness. So we may as well be filling that clearing with light on purpose.

If you have been quantum leaping, making new journeys, changing timelines, if you’ve just moved, if you feel like you need a boost of energy, if you do spiritual work, or if you’re entering a new chapter — you should be deep cleaning your home, too.

What we’ll cover

1. Clean your space — declutter, dust, organize

2. Gather your tools — smoke, sound, crystals, salt water, and natural cleaning products

3. Make a floor plan — capture your flow and your notes

4. Pendulum 101 — how to actually measure the energy of a room

6. Charging and activating — deciding what you want in each room and calling it in

Step 1 — Clean your space

Step one is definitely going to be: clean your space.

Declutter. Get rid of the chaos. Organize. Set your house right.

You can do this seasonally — that’s a really nice rhythm — or any time there’s a major portal or shift coming up. We have the Lionsgate portal happening on August 12, so it’s beautiful to do it before that. It really helps set the activation as the energy moves through.

Step 2 — Gather your tools

You can get very creative here, but there are a few things that will really help.

A pendulum or a dowsing rod

This is what you’ll use to measure the energy of the space. I’m going to walk you through the pendulum, because while I was filming and cleansing my own space I could not find my dowsing rods anywhere. I used them in a session, and they have vanished. So — pendulum it is, and honestly it’s great.You can also use your intuition to read a room, but I’d encourage you to have something that gives you a number. You want to be able to say “this room went from a 3 to an 8,” not just “it feels better.” That’s how you actually track what’s happening.

Sound

You need some sort of sound. Tuning forks, singing bowls, bells, your own voice, a speaker with tribal drums — anything high frequency that you can play out loud.

Sound breaks the energy up in a room. It helps it flow and move.

Smoke

You can use Palo Santo, sage, or any other combination of smoking tools that are all natural.

If you’re using Palo Santo, I’d suggest using a charcoal disc to keep it burning. You want a LOT of smoke. If you’re using incense, prepare to use a lot of it.

The goal is to generate enough smoke to genuinely fill the space — not a polite little wisp.

(I use Palo Santo with a combination of frankincense and black copal, on an activated charcoal disc, so it stays lit through the entire house.)

Crystals

Crystals help. They aren’t necessary, but they’re not a bad thing to have on hand.

Salt water

If you really want to get down and dirty — especially if you feel like there’s something heavier in the space — keep a bowl of salt water in the room. Salt absorbs negative energy.

This is also why, if you look at how I make my cleansing products, you’ll see I add salt to them.

Natural cleaning products

I don’t think you can truly cleanse a space efficiently while using harsh chemicals. You want a natural cleaner for this.

I make two: one for vacuuming (it helps with odor, and works on carpets, floors, and soft fabrics) and one for windows. Both get essential oils, and you can charge them with symbols to make them yours.

Vacuum Dust: Baking Soda, around 2 cups, salt, about 1/4 cup and essential oils, usually cedar and eucalyptus or frankincense, or lavender and lemon.

Window/ surface Spray: I fill a spray bottle with about 1/5 of distilled vinegar, two squirts of dis soap, 1/4 cup of rubbing alcohol, the rest with water, and again a combination of essential oils.

I do a few things while pulling these ingredients together, I focus my intention on clearing and charging, i draw an infinity symbol into the baking soda mixture before sifting it onto the carpet- I leave it for about 15 minutes or longer and then vacuum it up.

For the window surface spray i usually spray and leave it on for around 3 minutes, or go around spraying a few windows at a time and then coming back to wipe, I wipe symbols into the mirrors and windows as I am cleaning them.

I also love to take salt and run it across the front and back doors and wipe those down with the solution as well.

Step 3 — The floor plan

Before we get to pendulum work, let’s talk about the floor plan. This is where you keep your notes and work out the flow of the house.

It’s rudimentary. It does not have to be to scale or pretty. For each room you want:

• The name of the room

• The first measurement, before you start

• The new measurement, when you’re done

You might not get every room all the way up to a ten — that’ll make more sense in a second when we talk about the pendulum chart — but you want to see where you started and how far you got.

The second reason to keep a floor plan: you get to see where the hot spots are. Which rooms read low. Which rooms read in reverse. Over time you’ll notice a trend — some rooms need this less often, some need it more. That’s your cleansing protocol writing itself.

Keep it in your journal. And don’t take it too seriously — have a really good time doing this.

Step 4 — Pendulum 101

First, cleanse the pendulum with smoke. Just clear the energy on it.

Then focus. Take three breaths. Concentrate on the question: what is the energy of this space?

Now watch it. Yes, your arm will move a little bit — it is suggestive. Have fun with it anyway and see what it gives you.

• Moving very small → the energy is low

• Swinging really wide → the energy may be too high

• Circling to the right → positive. This is what you want.

• Circling to the left → releasing. A little left isn’t a big deal, but it usually means that room is draining energy. All the way left, we’ll deal with at the end of this article.

• An oblong, skinny sway instead of a circle → the energy is wonky

Whatever direction it’s going, the whole point is to stabilize the energy field. Remember that.

The pendulum chart

This can be your chart. You don’t have to print it — you can find something like this online, or eyeball it. It’s simply zero to ten: the tightest swings are a zero, the widest are a ten.

You’re guessing at a round-about number, and that’s fine. All you really need to notice is: is this low or high? If it’s too high, bring it in and stabilize. If it’s too low, bring it up.

Either way, you’re looking for a nice, round, even circle.

Step 5 — Clearing the space

Write your first reading down on the floor plan. Then, in this order:

1. Close all the windows.

2. Smoke it out. Grab your smudge, light your charcoal, and smoke that puppy out. Windows closed, door closed. You want the whole room filled.

3. Go back in. The space is cleared. Talk to your guides. Get in tune. You’ve already measured this room, so now —

4. Ask what else this room needs. Depending on your tools: singing bowls, bells, tuning forks, a speaker blasting music, crystals in the corners. Get all of it going and walk the corners of the room. You want the entire room saturated with positive energy.

5. Sit with your guides and ask for help clearing this space. You can do this before you start the sound. Then ask them to gather up all of the energy that is not aligned with the divine plan.

6. Create the escape route. Open the windows if you can, and say goodbye. You get to leave now. Bye. IF you cant open the window open the door, unless you live in a windowless home at some point you can open something to let the smoke out.

That’s how you do it.

How to know it’s time to move on

After you open the windows — re-measure the room. Write down the new number.

If it’s the same number, keep going. You don’t necessarily have to smudge again, but keep the music playing, keep using the bells, and imagine gold energy filling the room.

You can also bring in the subtle elements:

• Air — use wind to blow it out

• Water — clear with the salt water bowl in the room

• Earth — minerals hold and absorb from the air; so do plants

• Fire — the smoke and flame you’re already working with

There are so many ways to do this. Experiment and find what works for you. Just keep some way of measuring it that lives outside of your intuition, so you can see what’s actually working.

You might also want to just sit in the room for a bit and feel the shift. That’s allowed.

Charging and activating

You can clear the whole house room by room and then go back in to activate. Or you can work one room at a time — clear it, then charge it. Both work.

Now the fun part: what do you want in this room?

This is the den, the room where you watch TV. Maybe you want to feel nourished in here. Comforted. Maybe you want this room to be good for play, for adventure, for imagination.

Sit with those energies and use your pendulum. Call the energy in — the pendulum will swing when that energy is present — and then call in more of it. Abundance. Flow. Rhythm. Whatever you want. Just make sure you work one at a time, asking, waiting for confirmation, thanking and moving on.

Sealing the space

Then you seal it. You can literally say: “I now seal this space off.”

If there are windows, clean them with the spray (recipe linked below). Use symbols on the windows. Use symbols on the mirrors — mirrors are portals. Use symbols on the TV so it blocks whatever tries to come through. Use symbols as you vacuum, or vacuum in a particular order.

It’s all about the intention — what is being drawn into the space. That’s how you clear and move energy. You focus on it, you use your intention, and you use the momentum of that to make the change. The more energy you place on something, the more energy you give it.

Dealing with dark energy

Let’s talk about the bogeyman, because I did say there are extreme circumstances.

If the pendulum swings a little to the left

Like I said: that room is draining energy. It isn’t holding it. You can get that energy back. What you want to do is figure out what the drain is. Most of the time it has to do with location — it’s the place in the house where all the energy flows and then gets blocked. But test it over time, because it could also be something else. A lot of arguments in a room, a lot of tension based on the clutter or design, these things can get stuck in the space. Also don’t leave water sitting or dust piling too often or for too long, it too draws in negative energy.

If it’s swinging wildly to the left

You might have something in there. In my experience there are three kinds of somethings:

1. Little energetic parasites. These come home with you from the store. Like germs, they attach to things and get stuck in a space, especially a space that isn’t flowing well. These are easy to get rid of.

2. An attachment. This one doesn’t care how well you clean. If you don’t deal with why the energy is attaching — it could be ancestral, it could be something in how you’re attracting it — it will come back, because it’s feeding off a portion of that energy. You’ll clear it and it will return, because you never settled the thing that made it stick.

3. Something much darker. The first two are technically man-made, which means habits, a healing ceremony, or an energy clearing will usually resolve them. The third is far more malevolent, and it tends to have more to do with the land or the house itself.

For two and three: call a professional. Get an energy clearing. For the third, you’ll likely need someone who works with land specifically — I’ll write about that separately. If you subscribe you will be notified.

Having the space cleared will shift your energy significantly and bring more alignment into your life.

If you’re going to do it yourself

If you’re confident and developed in your practice, two things I need you to know:

One: you have dominion over your house. You have dominion over the Earth, but even more than that, over your own home. What you don’t want in there, based on your free will, has to leave when you command it — and you actually believe it. It’s all about the belief system.

Two: fear is what keeps it around. And darkness doesn’t like light. So in those areas: write mantras. Write activating, high-energy “I am” statements. Set up an altar with crystals, stones, and natural elements. Redecorate the space, hang new art, paint, add new lighting, beauty is very high energy.

It’s like adding a light bulb to the room. And the more sacred you make that spiritual space, the brighter the bulb.

After the clearing — check your dreams

Once you’ve cleared the house, watch your dreams.

If you have a nightmare right after, it could just be residual energy. But check again in a week or two. If it’s still happening, you may have missed something, or the work didn’t take.

Look for the clues and signs.

And if the energy simply won’t move — if you can’t get a room any higher than it already is — I’d work on yourself first. Raise your own energy so that you’re able to move energy outside of you. And again: it would be wise to call a professional.

It isn’t always malevolent

Completely outside of the woo-woo and the scary: your house might just have a lot of traffic.

Beings moving in and out on all levels. It’s a shared space. And depending on the shape and location of your house, that traffic can be constant — ours is triangle-shaped in one section and functions like a portal, great for spiritual work, terrible for traffic, so we are always cleaning house. Things are just traversing through.

Ancestral energy, whoever owned the house before you, family ties — these can bind you up a little, because they have a consciousness and an opinion, and so do you, and those may not always jive.

I mean, most of us have had someone die in a house we’ve lived in. Those souls could still be around.

So sometimes it’s just extra traffic jamming things up. It is not always something malevolent.

How long this takes

This took me two hours for a 2,000 square foot house — technically three, because I spent an hour hunting for my dowsing rods.

It’s a real ritual, a real practice, but the longer more intune you are with it, the more successful you will be. I will end this on a fun fact, when i cleansed my house, in my bedroom I worked to clean up my dreams and to have an out of body experience, that very night, I had one! I will also be posting about that here, it was hilarious.

It is not becoming louder. It is not demanding attention. It is not making everything about you.

True main character energy is presence.

For a moment, think about the Sun — your tarot card of the month.

The Sun does not compete for attention. It does not ask for permission to shine. It does not direct its light toward one person and withhold it from another. It does not cast its heat in one direction and ignore another — that is the atmosphere of the planet that directs the rays. The actual Sun just shines. And because it shines, everything else becomes visible.

The Sun was going to shine whether you were there or not. Its shining does not cost it anything. It does not lose energy because it is shining for you.

On the spiritual side, we believe the Sun is actually a reflection of us. As above, so below — we too emit light, we too emit energy, and we too can cast such a grand field that it benefits everything around us. That is the Sun Card. That is the energy available to you this month.

Its message is simple: be willing to be seen.

Not because you need attention. Because your presence matters.

Many of us spend years waiting for permission to fully exist. We wait until we feel more confident, more successful, more healed, more certain. We tell ourselves that one day we will step forward, speak up, create the thing, share the gift, take up the space.

But life does not reward hiding.

Confidence is not a luxury in this reality. It is a requirement. Not the confidence that says you are better than someone else — the confidence that says: I belong here. I matter. My voice deserves to be heard. My existence has value.

Because when you begin to believe those things, something remarkable happens. The light you carry gives other people permission to shine too. Real light does not dominate. It inspires. It guides. It illuminates.

That is the invitation of July — to explore who you are beneath the masks. To notice where you shine naturally. To discover where your light has been dimmed by fear, self-doubt, or old stories. The planets are not here to tell you who to become. They are here to help you remember who you already are.

Why This Theme Is Emerging Now

Pluto Retrograde in Aquarius | All Month | 4° | Gene Keys 41 — Fantasy, Anticipation, Emanation

Are you noticing the destruction all around you? That is because we are living in a season of dismantling. Systems and identities are dissolving. You can feel it in the air.

This is Pluto’s work.

And currently retrograde — like a tornado pausing over a small town — expect more to surface. Expect old things to bubble up. Expect to have to change your mind. Expect to be confronted with things you would rather not see.

Pluto in Aquarius is attached in Gene Keys to the shadow of Fantasy. And I want to be clear: fantasy here does not mean imagination. Fantasy is not creation. Fantasy is the lie we tell ourselves when the truth is not comfortable. It is where we go when we want to escape.

The stories we tell ourselves that keep us disconnected from reality. The version of ourselves that never takes action. The future we keep waiting for instead of building. The belief that someone else will save us. The belief that our life will begin later. The belief that we are powerless.

When Pluto shines its light on these fantasies, the darkness becomes very dark — because it is being squeezed out. What has happened is we have become far more aware of what actually needs to be fixed in our reality. Think of it like an audit. The only way to truly audit a system is to look for its flaws. And you have to actually see the flaws to change them.

But here is the shift: when you see the flaws, instead of being shocked — what if you remembered you were there to do an audit? You get a little excited, because now you know exactly what work needs to be done, in what direction, and why.

That is the movement from shadow into gift. From Fantasy into Anticipation — the ability to recognize that something new is emerging. To see change not as a threat, but as evidence that life is moving.

And beyond anticipation is Emanation — the realization that you do not have to force or exert energy that does not belong to you. You learn how to use time for what it is actually here for. We do not get to choose when something changes. We hold the line, knowing change is inevitable. We go through the journey as a witness, noting the chinks in the armor, trusting that when we see them, something new can actually occur.

Pluto is also connected to what you might call a grand shattering — the end of this version of reality — by dismantling the fantasies we have all participated in. And it is also connected to the Five of Swords. Five swords exist. They look like they may have been smashed — but by whom? And for what reason?

Can you see the reality around you dismantling? Now, more than ever, it is imperative that you anchor into yourself so you are not swept away with the tide. We think strength is hard, unmovable, rigid. But in fact, that is incredibly fragile. True strength is malleable. It can adjust to its current conditions. It can prevail in tough times. And you connect not just to anything — but to the unwavering power of the self. Because through that action, you actually connect to everything.

What if you are so much a part of reality, so ingrained in the fabric, so intertwined with the structure, that only when you truly and fully lock into yourself can you even begin to participate? That is when the magic happens. That is when new life begins.

Neptune Retrograde in Aries | All Month | 4° | Gene Keys 17 — The Eye: Opinion, Farsightedness, Omniscience

Neptune is all about imagination — what we desire deeply at the level below words, below the surface, in the depths. When Neptune was in Pisces, it was in its original element, in the dark. We were all collectively trying to determine what our mission was, what drives us, what makes us feel in harmonic resonance with this reality. That search sent us all home to a stillness inside ourselves.

Now Neptune has emerged in Aries. Water and fire together make steam. Steam is still a product of water — while more diffuse in the air, it is consolidating, condensing, warming, moving things, hydrating things. We are almost spreading this mission outward onto Earth.

With Neptune retrograde, it is like a train pausing at a station for a little longer than expected. You get out, you stretch your legs, you breathe the air. And while this train is staying behind, other energies are catching up to it. Your desires, your force, the way you love — all of it is consolidating. Because Neptune has stepped off into Aries fire, it is looking for more reasons to feel desire. More things to fuel it. Aries fire is the first fire — the spark that catches fast but needs to be stoked and fed to sustain itself.

Neptune is out right now looking for more inspiration for its dreams and desires.

On the shadow side, this is also where lies and secrets are being forged in the fire. We can see through the veil more clearly — the falsities of our system are becoming visible. But simultaneously, two fires are burning: one for good and one otherwise. Both just need material to get going. And whether it becomes light or illusion depends entirely on whether you are living in your true authentic self or being sequestered by darker forces that want to manipulate the playing field.

To illuminate — think imaging station. What is going on in your mind when you create a story?

Neptune connects here to Gene Keys 17 — The Eye. Opinion. Farsightedness. Omniscience.

Everybody has an opinion. And an opinion is no different from a judgment. It is the definition we give to something we experience — and reality is based on our perception. What we call something, for us, is what it is.

One of the trickiest things in this reality is that when we hold each other in judgment, we imprison each other. In our mind, another person does not have the potential for change. In your storyline, that individual can stay exactly the same — and while interacting with you, you will keep looking for clues that fit your existing definition of them. For you, they will always be X.

To view a scenario from further away, without adding your sauce — that is to become a real witness. When you can view every single person as a new form of potential energy forming in front of you, constantly, you give them new opportunities to be themselves without your pressure.

Those who suffer most from this tend to be very self-critical. To be self-critical is to turn inward and consistently compare yourself to others — and then side with the others. You make yourself a victim, though no one asked you to. On the other end: anyone who requires defiance to uphold a belief is in the grip of opinion as dogma.

Those who defend an opinion are ruled by unconscious anger.

The gift is farsightedness — the ability to see beyond the immediate. What passes for reason in the world is very often someone’s opinion dressed up as facts. The mind distorts logic for its own ends, building one argument while concealing the counter-argument. It is only when you have transcended your fear of freedom that you move beyond the opinion game entirely. And to do that, you have to stop taking life so seriously and so personally. You have to leave space to not know something — because in reality, that is the only place we can ever learn anything new.

Uranus in Gemini | All Month | 3–4° | Gene Keys 20 — The Sacred Om: Superficiality, Self-Assurance, Presence

Through the energy of communication this month, you will be asked to stand in your presence from a mighty place — lacking superficiality and instead focusing directly on who you are reflecting right now. Is it your best self? Uranus sextiling Neptune is all about electric change — the potential shock that will also add power to your mission.

These three slow planets — Pluto, Neptune, Uranus — are in grand sextiles and trines together all month long. They are in deep conversation, creating an opening, a new potential, a corridor for more energy to come in. The background frequency of this entire month is one of massive structural shift happening at the level of the collective field.

You are not imagining it. The ground is actually moving.

Your Personal Planets: Where You Get the Most Support

Saturn Retrograde | Ending the Month | 14° Aries | Gene Keys 21 — A Noble Life: Control, Authority, Valour

With Saturn currently in Aries, the focus lands on your discipline. How do you handle your tasks — like a fire is burning constantly, or with dignity?

The shadow here is control versus authenticity. Are you trying to be everything? Are you trying to be the dictator of your day? Or are you working with confidence and pride? Can you see the good in what you are doing? Can you have fun on the way to it?

Again, as the main character of your life — if you were watching yourself like a movie, what would the audience think watching you move? “This girl has it together” or “she is exhausted and losing herself”? Use this as a gauge. Not for judgment — for growth.

What does it mean to be noble? It is what you do when no one is watching. It is how you think about things. It is holding everyone to the same dignity and grace you hold yourself with. The old models of leadership are falling. What we need are real, authentic, passionate people who care about the future. So often we go about our day-to-day tasks convinced we are doing everything wrong. What if, for one moment, you asked: What if I am doing everything right? How would I move then?

Jupiter in Leo | All Month | 0–6° | Gene Keys 56 — Divine Indulgence: Distraction, Enrichment, Intoxication

Jupiter will be in Leo all month, connected to the shadow of Distraction versus Enrichment. This is all about how you are nourishing yourself versus depleting yourself.

Nourishment looks like positive self-talk, thinking highly of your process and your life, eating things that give you energy, doing activities that uplift you, spending time with people who inspire you. I do not think I need to describe what depletion looks like. You already know what is stepping on your toes. The question is: can you admit it and move the needle?

What if you became obsessed with your own life?

Does that make you twitch? Does it feel wrong to say? Inspect that. What would make you doubt or downgrade yourself? This goes directly against the energy of Leo, which is always about shining brightly because you are an aspect of creation. Act like it.

Venus | Leo to Virgo This Month

Venus will be in Leo first, harmonizing with the main theme — your being, your shine, your light. When she plays notes that make you feel off, remember: her job is to fine-tune. If you do not know the note is off, you cannot harmonize it. She brings beauty. And after spending time on how you are shining, she heads straight toward your values, which we will cover next month.

Mercury Retrograde | 23–19° Cancer | The Body, The Home, The Feeling Body

Mercury retrograde in Cancer brings the focus right back to the body — your home, where you feel safe, how you feel. The Crab represents the body, the home, the place of belonging. With Mercury moving backward through this sign, this is a time to revisit, reconsider, and return to yourself.

What does your inner home feel like right now? Is it a place you want to return to? Because Main Character Energy is not built on the outside first. It starts with the feeling in your own body when no one is watching.

Last year, I found myself on the southern coast of Portugal, near the small town of Comporta, spending a week with close friends.

One night, at an event, I chose to take LSD. This was not my first experience.

Under a sky full of stars, in a place deeply touched by nature, I found my way to a small, cozy tent filled with Moroccan puffs, just steps away from open land. The ground was sandy, scattered with small brush. A sea of pine trees and cacti filled my vision. The night was warm.

I looked up.

And then — every star in the sky disappeared.

What I first believed were clouds became deep — with hints of blues and greens. It wasn’t clouds. It was water. Above me, at the edge of our reality, what I can only describe as the firmament appeared — swishing, swirling, churning. The earth felt like a giant fishbowl, the sky-water moving clockwise while crashing and thrashing like an ocean in a storm.

Then she appeared.

A woman formed within the water — massive, almost green, both part of it and separate from it. She looked directly at me from above. Her figure was delicate — from the waist up she was very human, while the rest remained as water. I cannot describe her beauty. Majestic doesn’t cover it. I couldn’t make out her exact features, but I felt her — her beauty, her power, her presence.

I lowered my gaze — and everything around me came alive at once.

It felt like I had been placed in front of thousands of beings, all staring directly at me. Nothing physically moved. But everything was aware. It entered my consciousness all at once — overwhelming, frightening, yes — but also deeply intimate. Connected. Loving.

There’s no real way to fully explain the feeling of knowing, without question, that everything in front of you is alive. That it sees you. Recognizes you.

(For what it’s worth: science has since confirmed that plants are conscious — they communicate with one another, send low vibrations when they need water, and according to recent research, can even recognize your voice and distinguish the color of your shirt. I feel that truth inside of me.)

I stepped back quickly, retreating under the tent less than ten feet away. Instantly, I felt myself return to “my Earth.” I needed a moment.

So I breathed. Collected my presence. Made sure I was in a light place.

Then I went back.

Four steps forward — and I was in it again. Like crossing through a portal. Everything behind me disappeared. It was just me and all of nature, fully alive.

The being was still there. Looking at me. And this time, she communicated.

What a Download Feels Like

If you’ve never experienced a download, here’s how I’d describe it:

It comes like a complete packet of information all at once — like a giant file on a computer, but one where you have to open a few folders before the next ones become accessible. When it arrives, you don’t figure it out — you just know. It feels less like learning and more like remembering. The message unfolds as if it’s already stored somewhere inside you, being unlocked in real time. The voice can sound like your own — or like something beyond you. And the information can take days, months, or years to fully get on paper.

This is what came through.

The First Download: “We Can No Longer Hold Your Mess”

In my mind, I saw people pretending — living without full knowledge of their divine I AM, choosing materialism, lying, masking, performing.

Now, if nothing around you could see you except your friends, that would be one thing. But nature spirits, plants, and beings can see you. They are telepathic. They can see your thoughts, your heart, your demons and angels. They know you better than you know yourself — and they have been watching us for centuries.

The best way I can describe it without judgment is this:

You came here to be yourself. To play a specific sound. Imagine yourself as a beautiful orchestra — each note is yours, played in your own harmony, authentic to your resonance. But most people are playing for the audience instead of what’s in their heart. So they sound off-beat. It’s not their own tune.

Vibrationally, this is being out of resonance. And it isn’t just personal. The inauthentic energy casts off pollution — and everything around it is affected.

I also had a heavy heart in that moment, because I realized: I have been existing among conscious beings while acting as if nothing else exists. I had forgotten all about my friends. The trees. The insects. The animals. Everything I had been walking past, treating like objects.

I did this too.

What Consciousness Really Is

Before I go further, I need you to sit with something.

Imagine you are not your body.

Imagine you are simply a ball of light. You still have personality. Desires. Humor. Memory. You are still you.

And then — you choose to come to Earth.

You choose a form based on the role you’re here to play. You could have been a fir tree — cleaning the air, communicating with the forest, holding water, transmitting information from the sun. You could have been a butterfly — pollinating, spreading beauty, moving energy, delighting. Instead, many of us chose human bodies. With legs. With hands. With a different kind of responsibility.

But the truth is — we all chose vessels for function.

Be a dragonfly. Be the wind. Be water.

You are still you. You’re just aware that you’re connected to something larger.

We used to know this. We used to feel how alive everything is.

Before humanity was infected with the virus that inflamed the ego, we walked with the Earth. We ate from her. We made our homes from her. We existed as one with nature — a part of her, not separate from her. It was more raw. More abundant. More present. The ground hummed. It sent up the most intense energy. It was constant communication.

And now — we move through life as if she isn’t here at all.

The Second Download: The Firmament, Egregors, and the Mess We Made

When I say “Mother Nature,” I don’t mean a physical being.

She is a conscious field of energy — a living intelligence that holds information, nurturing, and what we might call divine feminine or “mother” wisdom. She holds the blueprint of the Mother.

Energy organizes itself like nesting dolls — broad to specific to individualized. At the highest level, Source. From Source, core frequencies like love. Love breaks into compassion, beauty, care, connection. Abundance breaks into financial, emotional, creative, relational. These organized fields of energy are what we experience as archetypes — not imaginary, but consolidated patterns with a specific nature.

Mother Earth is one of those archetypes. And we don’t just exist within her — we are fractals of her. Each of us carries a unique expression of that larger energy. We can embody it in harmony, or distort it. But either way — we are participating in it.

Mother Nature exists within — and is the ruler of — the Firmament.

The firmament is like the emotional body of Earth. A living field of energy that surrounds, protects, and permeates everything. Think of it as the 13th dimension — the shell, the womb, the waters above.

The 13th dimension is made of water, and this water holds information. Thoughts don’t disappear — they rise. Like a balloon ascending into the sky. They organize themselves with all other like thoughts. Some call these egregors — collective thought-forms that form when individuals or groups consistently feed the same idea, belief, or emotion with energy.

At first, it’s just a thought. But when many people think it, feel it, reinforce it — it begins to take shape. It gains density. Pattern. Behavior. Eventually, it starts to act like its own energetic entity.

My guides described it like rain: water turns into condensation, rises into clouds, and when the clouds get heavy enough — it comes back down.

Your dreams go there. Your desires. Your intentions. They gather, build, wait for you to continue feeding them.

But so do your fears.

And here’s what I came to understand very clearly: the balance is off. We’ve created more noise, more unresolved energy, more fear-forms than the field can hold. And it’s not just weighing us down — it’s weighing her down, and all of her creation.

In the simplest terms — we need to clean our rooms.

The Mess in Front of Our Faces

If you’re looking for the mess, it’s right in front of you. It’s on the news. You scroll past it on Instagram. You talk about it at work. These collective problems we share come from collective thought-forms we’ve all participated in at some level.

We don’t value life — we’ve placed a hierarchy on it, and we see what that looks like at the most tragic scale. We’ve taken neutral, natural energies like masculine and feminine and layered them with distorted meaning, building systems that mirror that distortion back at us. We’ve created and upheld structures that were never meant to hold the weight we placed on them.

And what we’re experiencing in the world right now? It isn’t random.

We have entered what some call Revelations — which actually means to reveal. Systems that created their own false reality are collapsing. The Earth itself is still very much here. What’s ending is the structure, not the planet.

What Must Be Done: Shadow Work and Creation

Shadow work is the process of releasing the shame, guilt, fear, anger, and hatred we attach to our thoughts, experiences, and perceptions. It’s reclaiming where we’ve given our power away. It’s dissolving the false hierarchies we’ve assigned to ourselves and others.

These emotions are not random. They are energy. And that energy is what gives weight and form to what we create.

The thought itself isn’t the problem. It’s the energy we bind to it.

Your pain is not meant to be stored — it’s meant to be expressed.

Through art. Through sound. Through movement. Through storytelling. Through the way you design your space, your rituals, your life.

You are meant to create just as much — if not more — than you consume. Right now the energy is out of balance. We take in more than we transmute. And creation is how you move energy. It’s how you take something dense and give it shape, meaning, and direction.

When you shift your own energy — you don’t just change your experience. You change what you contribute to the field.

And that is how we begin to restore balance.
