This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the NWSL for the 2026 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of NWSL for the 2026 season per the rules of NWSL (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NWSL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026 NWSL regular season remains tightly contested with multiple clubs separated by just a handful of points in the standings, creating broad parity that keeps runner-up probabilities clustered. Gotham FC holds the top spot, but Washington Spirit, Utah Royals, San Diego Wave, North Carolina Courage, Kansas City Current, Portland Thorns, and Seattle Reign sit within striking distance of second place with games remaining before the November playoffs. Recent results, including strong attacking outputs from teams like the Courage and Royals alongside defensive improvements elsewhere, have prevented any single side from pulling clear. Expansion sides such as Denver Summit FC and Boston Legacy FC add further variability to the middle and lower table, while roster adjustments and form swings across the league sustain the even distribution of implied probabilities among contenders.
