Colston Loveland enters his second NFL season as a featured tight end for the Chicago Bears, coming off a 2025 rookie year of 58 receptions for 713 yards and six touchdowns that included a strong finish with elevated targets under offensive coordinator Ben Johnson. The offseason trade of wide receiver D.J. Moore has opened additional targets in an offense led by quarterback Caleb Williams, with projections commonly placing Loveland near or above his rookie touchdown total amid competition from Cole Kmet and young wideouts. He played a high snap share in Week 1 without recording a reception or score, underscoring the need for consistent red-zone involvement and route-tree growth to drive receiving touchdowns over the full regular season.
