Luis Arraez leads MLB batting average at .316 through 136 games, supported by his trademark elite contact skills, minimal strikeouts, and steady production across teams this season, which underpins his 54% market share as the consensus favorite. Yordan Alvarez sits a close second at .314 in 142 games while leading in power categories, sustaining his 28% implied probability as the main threat if he sustains hot streaks or Arraez cools in the final month. Players such as Otto Lopez (.301) and Yandy Diaz (.305) trail further back with solid but less dominant volume, limiting their realistic paths to the title amid the compressed schedule and typical late-season variance in at-bats and matchups.
