Dalton Kincaid enters the 2026 NFL season as the Buffalo Bills' primary receiving tight end after recovering from a lingering knee injury that limited him in prior years. In Week 1 against the Texans, the fourth-year pro posted a career-high 130 receiving yards on five catches while playing 72 percent of offensive snaps, signaling no load management and a larger role under coordinator Joe Brady alongside quarterback Josh Allen. Kincaid scored five touchdowns in 12 games during 2025 despite reduced availability, and his efficiency as a downfield and intermediate threat positions him for red-zone opportunities amid competition from wideouts like Khalil Shakir and D.J. Moore. The upcoming Thursday matchup against the Lions offers an early test of sustained target volume before a stretch of games that could influence his season-long touchdown total.
