Garrett Wilson enters the 2026 NFL season fully recovered from the knee injury that limited him to seven games and four receiving touchdowns in 2025. Paired with veteran quarterback Geno Smith and offensive coordinator Frank Reich’s West Coast scheme, the Jets’ top wideout shifts toward more outside alignments that favor contested deep targets and potential red-zone opportunities. A deeper receiving room featuring rookies Omar Cooper Jr. and Kenyon Sadiq plus Adonai Mitchell spreads targets more evenly, reducing Wilson’s prior volume monopoly while emphasizing efficiency and big plays. His historical 1,000-yard pace across three prior healthy seasons and strong training-camp chemistry with Smith position him as the clear alpha, though sustained health over a 17-game schedule and the offense’s overall scoring output will determine his touchdown total.
