Rome Odunze enters the 2026 regular season as the Chicago Bears’ top wide receiver following the trade of DJ Moore, positioning him for elevated target share alongside quarterback Caleb Williams in an offense that leaned run-heavy in Week 1. His 2025 campaign featured six receiving touchdowns in just 12 games before a foot injury ended his year, building on three scores as a rookie; full availability through 17 games would represent the clearest path to double-digit production. A calf issue limited his Week 1 snaps against the Panthers, where he posted two receptions for 52 yards and zero touchdowns amid competition from Luther Burden and others, though he cleared the injury report ahead of Week 2. Historical red-zone efficiency and contested-catch ability support upside, but persistent health questions and offensive balance remain key variables for season-long touchdown totals.
