Trey McBride enters the 2026 NFL season as the Cardinals' clear top receiving option after posting a league-leading 126 receptions for tight ends in 2025, the first back-to-back 100-catch campaigns by any TE in NFL history. New head coach Mike LaFleur's West Coast scheme emphasizes McBride's route-running and YAC ability, with offseason work on defensive reads expected to sustain high target volume even as Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson draw looks. Jacoby Brissett is slated to open as the primary quarterback following Kyler Murray's departure, while fullback Tip Reiman's return adds run-game support that could create play-action opportunities. Official depth chart and camp reports confirm McBride's starter role with no injury concerns.
