Recent polls show a tight four-way contest for the top spots in Berlin’s September 20 Abgeordnetenhaus election, with Die Linke narrowly ahead at 19–22%, followed closely by the CDU (18–20%) and AfD (17–18%), while the Greens sit at 15–17% and the SPD at 12–15%. This positioning leaves the Greens as the consensus favorite for fourth place in trader assessments, though modest shifts in any of the leading parties could alter the order. The CDU’s candidate change and sustained competition among the top three, combined with stable but limited support for smaller parties like the FDP, BSW, and FW, have kept probabilities compressed. Late-campaign events, turnout variations in key districts, or last-minute polling movements could separate the field before election night.
