Brock Bowers enters the 2026 regular season with a meniscus trim on his left knee performed September 8, causing him to miss the first two weeks while trending toward a Week 3 return against the Saints. The Raiders' third-year tight end posted a league-leading 112 receptions as a 2024 rookie but managed only 64 catches across 12 games in 2025 amid lingering knee issues. New head coach Klint Kubiak's scheme, paired with upgraded quarterback play from first overall pick Fernando Mendoza and Kirk Cousins, plus an improved offensive line, positions Bowers for elevated target volume if he maintains full availability over 17 games. Backup Michael Mayer has filled in effectively early, but the offense's passing game revolves around the star tight end when healthy.
