This market will resolve to "Yes" if Elder Scrolls VI is officially released in the US by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". For the purposes of this market, "release" refers to the game becoming publicly available for purchase or download in the US. Early access, beta versions, other forms of pre-release availability, or leaks will not count as an official release. If the release is only for certain consoles (e.g. Xbox Series X/S) it will count. The resolution source will be official information from Bethesda Softworks or its parent company, Microsoft.**The overwhelming trader consensus favoring “No” for an Elder Scrolls VI release by year-end stems from consistent industry reporting that places the game at least two to three years from launch.** Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier and other insiders have repeatedly stated the title remains in active but early-to-mid production on Creation Engine 3, with Bethesda confirming only that it has passed an internal milestone and that the majority of the studio is now focused on it. July 2026 Xbox layoffs at Bethesda raised further concerns about potential delays, even as some officials claimed core timelines were unaffected. No marketing campaign, release window, or playable preview has surfaced that would support a 2026 launch, aligning with Bethesda’s historical five-plus-year cycles for major RPGs. A surprise shadow drop or accelerated finish remains theoretically possible but faces steep practical barriers given the current development stage and lack of any corroborating signals.
