Mercedes leads the 2026 F1 Constructors’ Championship by a wide margin after the Italian Grand Prix, with its two drivers combining for maximum points in Monza as Kimi Antonelli charged from 19th to victory and George Russell finished second. The Silver Arrows have delivered the strongest overall package under the new regulations, supported by reliable scoring across multiple rounds and fewer setbacks than rivals. Ferrari sits second but trails significantly after Charles Leclerc’s early crash at Monza and inconsistent results, while McLaren and Red Bull remain further adrift despite occasional strong showings. Trader consensus reflects this sustained advantage, though late-season development races, reliability problems for both Mercedes cars, or unexpected rival upgrades could narrow the gap in the remaining events.
