**Jaylen Waddle enters the 2026 season with the Denver Broncos following an offseason trade from Miami, where he is expected to serve as a primary target in Sean Payton’s offense alongside quarterback Bo Nix.** After posting 64 receptions for 910 yards and six touchdowns in 16 games during 2025, Waddle’s versatility—particularly his production on intermediate routes over the middle—aligns with scheme emphases that could increase his red-zone opportunities and overall target share beyond recent Miami levels. Training camp reports highlighted his movement across formations and explosive plays, though minor camp injuries underscore durability considerations over a full 17-game schedule. The Broncos’ depth at wide receiver, including Courtland Sutton, creates competition for looks, while Nix’s development and the team’s overall offensive efficiency will influence scoring chances. Historical patterns show Waddle has reached six or more receiving touchdowns in multiple seasons when featured prominently.
