The wide-open MLB runs leader market reflects a season-long absence of a clear frontrunner, with top contenders hampered by injuries, inconsistent playing time, and competitive team environments. Aaron Judge’s recent return from a multi-month rib fracture limits his accumulated total despite elite on-base skills and lineup protection, while power-speed threats like Pete Crow-Armstrong (leading with over 100 runs), James Wood, Yordan Alvarez, and Miguel Vargas post strong pace through high walk rates, stolen bases, and extra-base hits. Drake Baldwin, Ben Rice, and Kyle Schwarber benefit from favorable batting-order spots and recent form, but late-season health, rest days, and schedule strength create meaningful variance among the field. Trader consensus prices this uncertainty accordingly.
