**Early results in the 2026-27 Premier League season have created a tight race for the first managerial departure, with several sides posting poor starts that keep multiple candidates in contention.** A record nine new permanent managers took charge ahead of the campaign, including Alvaro Arbeloa at Fulham, Roberto De Zerbi at Tottenham, Pierre Sage at Crystal Palace, and others at promoted or high-profile clubs. Coventry City under Frank Lampard remain without a point or goal after four matches, while Fulham and Tottenham have also struggled for wins and consistency. Manchester United’s Michael Carrick faces added scrutiny after mixed results and cup exits. These factors—combined with limited time for new coaches to implement tactics, squad changes, and the league’s typical early volatility—have bunched implied probabilities closely among several names, reflecting trader consensus on the unpredictable nature of sackings in the opening weeks.

If the listed manager is the first manager to be officially fired, dismissed, or sacked by their respective Premier League club during the 2026-27 season, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No".
If multiple managers are fired on the same calendar day, resolution will be based on the earliest official announcement time.
If a manager resigns, mutually agrees to part ways, or departs for another job, this will not count as being fired, and that will not qualify as "Yes" for this market.
If no Premier League managers are fired by May 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other".
The primary resolution source will be official club announcements or official Premier League communications. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
