OpenAI's accelerating revenue trajectory and CEO Sam Altman's $1 trillion-plus valuation floor are anchoring trader sentiment around a premium IPO outcome. The company confidentially filed its S-1 in June 2026 after a March private round at $852 billion, with a subsequent August tender reaffirming that level. Its annualized revenue run rate has surpassed $40 billion amid ChatGPT user growth and a $1 billion ads business, supporting forecasts for $60-plus billion ARR by mid-2027. This growth dynamic, combined with AI sector demand and the preference for a 2027 debut over a discounted 2026 listing, underpins the 57% implied probability on a 1.5T+ closing market cap as aggregated trader consensus backed by capital at risk. Key catalysts ahead include further monetization milestones and any FOMC-driven risk appetite shifts.
