Suhas Subramanyam, the Democratic incumbent first elected in 2024, holds a commanding position in Virginia's 10th congressional district due to the seat's partisan lean, his substantial fundraising edge exceeding $1 million compared to Republican Dave Beckwith's roughly $100,000–200,000, and consistent nonpartisan ratings classifying the race as Solid or Safe Democratic. Beckwith secured the Republican nomination decisively in the August 4 primary. The Northern Virginia district, encompassing Loudoun County and surrounding areas with a Cook Partisan Voting Index around D+6, favors the incumbent heading into the November 3 general election. A scheduled September 22 debate and any late shifts in national conditions represent the primary variables that could influence final margins, though structural factors limit realistic paths for an upset.
