Brian Thomas Jr. enters the 2026 NFL season as a 23-year-old Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver coming off a disappointing 2025 campaign in which he posted just 48 receptions for 707 yards and two touchdowns across 14 games after a 10-touchdown rookie year. Multiple injuries, a high drop rate, and a shifting target hierarchy behind Parker Washington and Jakobi Meyers limited his opportunities under quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Thomas has been a full participant in training camp following a minor shoulder issue, with reports highlighting improved route-running, chemistry with Lawrence, and stronger hands. The Jaguars’ deep receiving corps, including Washington, Meyers, and Travis Hunter, creates ongoing competition for targets in Liam Coen’s offense, which emphasizes spreading the ball. A healthy Thomas could see increased volume over 17 games, though his touchdown total will hinge on red-zone usage and overall passing-game distribution.
