Brock Bowers enters the 2026 NFL season as the Las Vegas Raiders' primary receiving threat after a strong rookie campaign and a solid but injury-limited 2025. New head coach Klint Kubiak's tight end-centric scheme, combined with quarterback upgrades featuring Kirk Cousins and rookie Fernando Mendoza, positions Bowers for a larger target share and red-zone opportunities in an offense lacking established wide receiver production. His 2024-2025 receiving touchdowns (five and seven) reflect consistent scoring ability when healthy, though a recent meniscus trim from a training camp knee issue will sideline him for at least the opener and potentially Week 2. Michael Mayer assumes early duties, but analysts view the setback as short-term for the 23-year-old Pro Bowler, with full strength expected soon in a favorable matchup environment.
