Garrett Wilson enters the 2026 NFL season fully recovered from the knee injury that limited him to seven games and four receiving touchdowns in 2025. As the Jets’ clear alpha wide receiver, he benefits from veteran quarterback Geno Smith’s arrival and Frank Reich’s offensive scheme, which should improve red-zone efficiency and quarterback accuracy compared with prior seasons. However, the addition of first-round pass catchers Kenyon Sadiq and Omar Cooper Jr., along with Adonai Mitchell, creates a deeper receiving room that could reduce Wilson’s overall target share while still positioning him for consistent scoring chances across a favorable schedule. Historical averages from his three healthy prior seasons hover near five touchdowns, with full participation expected to drive volume.
