Sal Stewart of the Cincinnati Reds leads the 2026 MLB RBI race with 107 through 143 games, well clear of pursuers like Alec Burleson, Jordan Walker, CJ Abrams, and Yordan Alvarez. The 22-year-old first baseman's breakout season, including 31 home runs and repeated multi-RBI performances into late August that broke the franchise rookie record, has created a sizable cushion with roughly a month remaining. Veterans such as Pete Alonso and Kyle Schwarber sit further back and would require sustained surges plus favorable scheduling to close the gap. Trader consensus reflects this gap, pricing Stewart as the heavy favorite while assigning limited implied probability to the field.
