Dallas Goedert enters the 2026 NFL season as the Philadelphia Eagles' primary tight end on a one-year deal, positioned for an expanded red-zone role after the team traded A.J. Brown. The 31-year-old posted career highs of 60 receptions, 591 yards, and 11 touchdowns across 15 games in 2025, establishing himself as a reliable target for Jalen Hurts. Depth chart reports place him ahead of veteran Johnny Mundt and rookie Eli Stowers, though the latter's development could influence snap counts. Recent knee and hamstring concerns from prior seasons remain a factor in usage planning, while the Eagles' Week 1 matchup against Washington and subsequent schedule will test his ability to sustain scoring production amid a revamped receiving corps.
