Recent polling shows Republican support among Black voters holding in the low-to-mid teens for the 2026 midterms, following gains in the 2024 presidential race that have partially eased amid economic pressures and reactions to administration policies on issues such as voting rights and redistricting. Primary data from sources like Pew and generic ballot surveys place GOP identification or vote intention near 14-19 percent, with some regional turnout surges in Southern Black Belt counties favoring Democrats. This range of results, combined with uncertainty over final turnout patterns and issue salience in battleground areas, keeps trader probabilities clustered tightly between 8-13 percent shares rather than consolidating on any single outcome.
