Romeo Doubs enters the 2026 season as the Patriots’ No. 2 wideout behind A.J. Brown after signing a four-year deal in free agency following a 2025 campaign with the Packers that produced career highs of 55 receptions, 724 yards, and six touchdowns. His red-zone track record—leading Green Bay in end-zone targets—pairs with Drake Maye’s deep-ball accuracy, but shared targets with Brown, DeMario Douglas, Hunter Henry, and the backfield cap his volume in New England’s offense. A catchless Week 1 debut with three targets highlighted early adjustment challenges, though Brown’s ankle injury could elevate Doubs’ immediate role and red-zone looks. Team passing attempts, offensive line health, and defensive schemes will further shape his touchdown total over the 17-game schedule.
