The 2026 MLS regular season remains tightly contested for the most clean sheets, with no single club establishing clear separation after roughly 23-25 matches per team. LAFC, Houston Dynamo, Nashville SC, and Vancouver Whitecaps currently lead the defensive metrics through strong goalkeeper play and organized back lines, yet the bunched market pricing reflects how quickly results can shift amid congested schedules, injury rotations, and varying opponent attacks. Mid-table sides retain realistic paths if they sustain shutout form over the final stretch, while leaders face risks from fixture difficulty and potential squad fatigue. Trader consensus views the outcome as highly uncertain until late-season trends solidify.
