Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev lead the 2026 US Open winner market at 27.5% and 22.9% implied probability amid a tightly bunched field shaped by key absences and recent results. Jannik Sinner’s withdrawal with a knee injury and Novak Djokovic’s first-round loss have widened opportunities in the draw, elevating Arthur Fils after his Cincinnati title and boosting Americans Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton. Alcaraz returns from a four-month wrist layoff as defending champion but faces questions over match fitness on hard courts, while Zverev’s consistent 2026 form and seeding provide stability. This combination of injuries, rust factors, and depth among rising talents like Fils and Medvedev keeps the top probabilities competitive and sensitive to early-round outcomes.
