Lula maintains a commanding lead in Pernambuco for first place in the October 4 first round, backed by consistent polling advantages of 30+ points over Flávio Bolsonaro and single-digit support for all other registered candidates. The state's Northeast location reinforces PT's longstanding regional base, with recent surveys from Quaest and Datafolha showing Lula at 54-58% amid high voter commitment levels near 80%. Flávio Bolsonaro registers as the clearest alternative at 19-24%, while names such as Ronaldo Caiado, Romeu Zema, and Renan Santos remain marginal. Market pricing reflects this gap, though shifts could arise from late-campaign consolidation among right-leaning voters, changes in turnout patterns, or unforeseen events within the final weeks before voting.
