PAN maintains a commanding lead in trader pricing for second place behind Morena in Mexico’s June 2027 Chamber of Deputies election because recent national polling consistently places the party ahead of other opposition options in raw vote intention. Surveys from mid-2026 through August show PAN capturing 11-19 percent support, ahead of PRI (8-13 percent), Movimiento Ciudadano (9-12 percent), and smaller parties. The decision by PAN leadership to contest the election independently, rather than renew the prior alliance with PRI, has reinforced its distinct positioning. Fragmented opposition dynamics and the governing coalition’s continued dominance in first-place preference have left limited room for PRI, PVEM, or PT to overtake PAN in projected seat totals under Mexico’s mixed-member proportional system. Upcoming candidate selection and coalition negotiations remain the main variables that could alter the current trader consensus before election day.
