Emily Randall, the Democratic incumbent, holds a commanding position in Washington's 6th congressional district due to her comfortable 2024 victory margin, strong fundraising edge exceeding $1.2 million compared to her opponent's roughly $28,000, and a decisive primary win that advanced her to the November general election against Republican Teresa Fox. The district, encompassing areas like the Olympic and Kitsap peninsulas plus parts of Pierce County, carries a consistent Democratic lean reflected in nonpartisan ratings classifying the seat as solid or safe for the party. Trader consensus at these levels aligns with historical voting patterns and the absence of major recent shifts in polling or campaign dynamics. Late developments such as an unforeseen national partisan wave, candidate health events, or significant scandals remain the primary variables that could still alter the outcome before election day.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
