PAN leads trader expectations for second place in Mexico’s June 2027 Chamber of Deputies election because multiple 2026 polls place it ahead of other opposition parties, typically in the 11–18% range behind Morena’s 35–46%. The party’s decision to contest the midterms independently after ending its prior alliance with the PRI has preserved its national brand and territorial structure as the clearest centrist-right alternative. PRI support has softened further in recent surveys, reflecting internal challenges and competition from Movimiento Ciudadano, while PVEM and smaller parties trail. Coalition dynamics remain fluid, yet current polling trends and the absence of major recent shifts continue to underpin the market’s strong preference for PAN over other listed outcomes.
