Kyle Pitts enters the 2026 season coming off a career-high 2025 campaign of 88 receptions, 928 yards, and five touchdowns, which earned him a three-year, $54 million extension. New head coach Kevin Stefanski’s offense has historically funneled a high share of targets to tight ends, installing Pitts as the clear No. 2 option behind Drake London amid thin wide receiver depth. Preseason work showed improved movement and early chemistry with starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, though Atlanta’s quarterback room remains unsettled with Michael Penix Jr. recovering from injury. Pitts has never exceeded five receiving touchdowns in a season, and red-zone volume will depend on scheme emphasis and overall passing efficiency rather than guaranteed volume.
