The district’s R+12 Partisan Voter Index and consistent Republican performance in recent cycles, including the incumbent’s 2024 reelection margin, establish the baseline for trader consensus favoring Russell Fry at 95.5%. Multiple forecasters rate the race Solid or Safe Republican, reflecting limited Democratic infrastructure and Fry’s substantial fundraising lead exceeding $1.4 million against John Vincent’s roughly $200,000. Both June primaries were canceled after single candidates qualified, leaving the November 3 general election as the decisive contest. Fry’s concurrent Senate special-election bid has drawn challenger criticism over divided attention but has not altered the seat’s structural Republican lean or shifted implied probabilities. A Democratic upset would require unusually high turnout or late-breaking developments capable of overcoming the district’s voting patterns.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
