Trey McBride enters the 2026 NFL season as the Cardinals' clear top receiving option after setting the tight end single-season record with 126 receptions in 2025 and posting 111 the prior year—the first TE with consecutive 100-catch campaigns. New head coach Mike LaFleur's West Coast offense and a quarterback room led by Jacoby Brissett (with rookie Carson Beck in the mix) could alter target distribution, particularly with Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson commanding looks in the passing game alongside a bolstered run option. McBride's elite route-running and red-zone usage remain strengths, though projections range widely from sustained volume near 110-plus catches down to the low 90s depending on overall passing attempts and scheme emphasis. His health and the Cardinals' early-season offensive identity will shape his path toward another high-reception campaign.
