When the old story no longer fits

I write for people who can feel that an old version of life no longer fits.

Sometimes it is an identity. Sometimes a role, a relationship, a career, or a way of being that once made sense and now feels too small.

Often, what comes next is not obvious. There may be no clear plan, no sudden revelation, no perfect language for the change taking place. Only the growing sense that something has to be listened to.

My work is about narrative reinvention: noticing the stories we have been living inside, questioning the ones that keep us stuck, and making room for a truer way forward.

Creatives, entrepreneurs, and people in transition come to me when they are ready to stop repeating old patterns and begin shaping a life that feels more real.

I help high-functioning humans shift out of autopilot and begin building lives that feel aligned, alive, and unmistakably theirs.

I’ve never been very interested in inspiration that disappears the moment life gets difficult. A symbol has to do more than look good. It has to remind us of something we are likely to forget. This one reminds me that life is not something to get through on autopilot. It asks more of us than coping, performing, or repeating the same old patterns. It reminds me to choose life again. Not as an idea, but as a way to spend the days I have.

I came to this work through story first. Film, writing, coaching, and eventually the harder material of my own life.

I know what it means to lose a version of yourself before the next one has arrived.

Stories have been the thread of my life
. For more than 20 years I’ve been making them, living them, and helping others rewrite theirs.

Drawing from my extensive background in filmmaking and creative arts, I offer a coaching process that is both innovative and engaging.

I’ve seen the highs. I’ve walked through the lows. And here’s what I’ve learned:

Lost doesn’t mean broken.

It means you’ve been carrying a lifetime of old stories, survival habits, and unasked-for expectations.

Through my Substack, I share bold ideas, personal insights, and practical tools to help you:

  • Rewrite your internal script

  • Build deeper, more meaningful connections

  • Create a life that actually feels like yours

If that sounds like something you’ve been craving, you’re in the right place.

I work as a reinvention strategist, helping clients rewrite their stories and design lives that feel fully alive and authentic.

Reinvention often begins before we have words for it.

Sometimes it starts with the feeling that the life we have built no longer fits. Sometimes with a question we can’t quite shake. And sometimes with the simple recognition that we are not stuck, only being asked to listen more carefully.

Begin where you are.

Ps. If you feel stuck, take heart. It means you’re closer to ready than you think.

Other Ways to Go Deeper

Not everyone is ready for coaching — and that’s okay. If you’d like to explore my work at your own pace, here are a few starting points:

  • The Decision Detox — A practical reinvention tool to cut through indecision, stop circling, and commit to the choices that move your life forward.

  • One Goal, Full Energy (Meditation) — A 4-minute guided meditation to clear the noise, reconnect with what truly matters, and channel your energy toward one meaningful goal.

  • Coming Soon: The Reinvention Blueprint — A step-by-step framework to help you rewrite your story, navigate the sacred space between old and new, and create lasting change.
