Au79 Macro — Privacy Notice

Last updated: August 26, 2026

This notice explains how Au79 Macro (Au79 Gold LLC / Marty Gold) handles information when you visit, subscribe to, or email this publication. It supplements Substack’s Privacy Policy and Information Collection Notice.

Who processes your data

Hosting, subscriptions, payments, email delivery, and most analytics are operated by Substack and its processors (including Stripe for paid billing). We do not run a separate marketing cloud on top of this list.

What we receive

  • Email address and subscription status (free, paid, founding)

  • Name and profile details you choose to provide

  • Payment metadata via Substack / Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)

  • Comments, replies, survey answers, and emails you send us

  • Standard device / usage logs Substack collects to operate the service

  • War Room / Discord identifiers if you join that server

How we use it

  • Deliver posts, podcasts, and operational mail (welcome, renewal, expiration)

  • Honor paid perks (archive, War Room, custom research)

  • Reply when you write to us

  • Understand what is being read so we can run a better desk

  • Comply with law and protect the publication against abuse

We do not sell subscriber lists. We do not rent your address to sponsors. If that ever changes, we will say so here first.

AI

Models may be used to help format or analyze research sources. We do not feed your private subscriber record into public model-training workflows as a product feature.

Sharing

We share information with Substack, Stripe, and Discord only as needed to run the publication and the War Room, or if required by law.

Retention

We keep account and correspondence data while you are subscribed and for a reasonable period after, or as Substack retains it on our behalf, unless a longer period is required.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in any message

  • Cancel a paid seat in your Substack account settings

  • Request access, correction, or deletion by replying to an Au79 Macro email

  • California and similar state residents may have additional rights as described in Substack’s notices

Some requests must be executed by Substack as the platform operator. We will point you there when that is the case.

Children

This publication is not directed at children under 16.
