**Team Flash and RRQ Tora enter their MPL Malaysia Season 18 Regular Season BO3 as two of the league’s bottom teams, with both sides posting poor early records amid a competitive eight-team field.** Team Flash, newly transitioned from MPL Singapore where they recently won Season 6, sits near the foot of the table after a 1-4 start but secured its first S18 victory on August 30 against Invictus Gaming (2-0). RRQ Tora has dropped its first five matches, including a 1-2 loss to AC Esports on August 30, continuing a pattern of heavy defeats to mid-table sides. Roster adjustments, including loan players for both squads, add uncertainty to form and synergy. Historical head-to-heads from Season 17 favored RRQ Tora (multiple 2-0 sweeps), yet recent momentum and the double round-robin format make the September 5 clash a key opportunity for either side to climb out of the lower standings. Playoff qualification (top six) remains distant for both.

In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
