Recent polling aggregates position Capitão Alberto Neto (PL) as the leading contender for second place in the Amazonas Senate race, reflecting his consistent performance in consolidated first- and second-choice vote shares across multiple institutes. Eduardo Braga (MDB) maintains an edge for the top spot in most surveys through interior strength, leaving Neto favored for the remaining vacancy due to robust Manaus backing and combined totals reaching 39-53% in late August and early September readings. Wilson Lima (União Brasil) and Plínio Valério (PSDB) trail closely in the second-vote battle, with regional splits and undecided voters keeping the outcome fluid ahead of the October 4 election. Trader consensus prices these patterns as the primary driver while assigning lower implied probabilities to other registered candidates.
