Kyle Pitts enters the 2026 NFL season coming off a career-best 2025 campaign with 88 receptions, 928 yards, and five touchdowns on 114 targets for the Falcons. The 25-year-old tight end signed a three-year, $54 million extension in June after the franchise tag, securing his role in a new offense led by head coach Kevin Stefanski, whose schemes have historically funneled a high percentage of targets to tight ends. Pitts has shown strong preseason chemistry with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, who holds the early edge in Atlanta’s QB competition over Michael Penix Jr. While Drake London remains the primary passing-game option and Bijan Robinson anchors the run game, Pitts figures as a key red-zone and intermediate target; his touchdown totals have historically lagged behind his volume, making red-zone usage and overall passing-game efficiency the main variables for the regular-season receiving touchdown market.
