Kyle Pitts enters the 2026 season coming off a career-best 2025 campaign of 88 receptions for 928 yards and five touchdowns, which earned him a three-year, $54 million extension. New head coach Kevin Stefanski’s scheme has historically featured tight ends heavily, positioning Pitts as the clear third option behind Drake London and Bijan Robinson in an offense lacking proven depth at wide receiver. However, Atlanta’s quarterback situation remains unsettled after Week 1, with Tua Tagovailoa (oblique) and Michael Penix Jr. (knee) sidelined and backup Cooper Rush starting, limiting early targets. Pitts’ target share and yardage totals will hinge on when the starters return and how consistently the passing game develops under the new staff.
