DJ Moore enters the 2026 regular season as Buffalo’s clear No. 1 wide receiver after an offseason trade from Chicago, where he posted career-low totals of 50 receptions, 682 yards, and six touchdowns in 2025. With Josh Allen under center, training-camp reports highlight Allen prioritizing Moore on deep targets and building early chemistry, elevating him above prior “everybody eats” distribution in the Bills’ passing game. The 29-year-old has a full 17-game slate ahead, plus favorable red-zone volume in an offense that has lacked a consistent perimeter threat since Stefon Diggs departed. Minor preseason ankle soreness resolved without lingering effects, positioning Moore for a rebound in touchdown production if the connection holds against early opponents like Houston. Trader consensus reflects this upgraded role and QB upgrade while acknowledging efficiency variance from recent seasons.
